A few days ago I got a free copy of windows XP home edition with a computer I got.  Since I use XP lite and I don't like home edition, I put it up for sale on craigslist for $35.  I tell ya, I've gotten 93 emails so far about the thing!  Seems no one wants to install vista.  You see copies of vista ultimate on craigslist all the time for $40 and no one ever buys them.

Well, XP is, generally speaking, a faster and - in probably all cases - better OS than Vista.  I'm one among thousands at least, that will never even consider upgrading...  XP is good enough, so why upgrade further?  (Stupid DX 10 being exclusive to Vista..... :x )
"And the Most High said unto Moses, Ahayah-Asher-Ahayah.  And he said, Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel, Ahayah hath sent me unto you...  This is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations."

I agree entirely.  I mean, there was a good reason to upgrade from every previous OS but windows XP is great!  It has a thousand times more stability than vista and it's not slow as heck even on the fastest of computers.  It has no new features except for its sidebar and visual style which can be easily put onto xp so there's no reason in the world to ever upgrade.

I know I'm enjoying my XP far more than the Vista on my Laptop. :)

I'll stick with XP, thank you very much. (Note: Looking to go to XP on my Laptop once I'm done with a little thing on there.  Could be a few more days before I finish that. ;))

Just don't do it without supervision.  Putting XP on a Vista computer (especially a laptop) is way harder than putting it on a desktop that already had XP on it before.

XP drivers for Vista computers sometimes just don't exist.  Even if they do exist, they're really hard to find sometimes.
