Syrius's story is an interesting one. having a history with Kragoth

I  think I should make it a note that back in their day, they were the Spy vs Spy of the Prehistoric era

They have those on the mad dvd-rom, the spy vs spy animated cartoons.  They are funny.

Is he a relative of Ducky at all, uncle, distant cousin ect?

hm, I started to wonder that myself. at first I was planning on making him a loner who happened to had entered at the valley at the time. though he seems rather knowledgeable about the vally and the lands that suround it.

hence also his dealings with Kragoth

a relative of Ducky's... its something to think about

I should also mention that in these days, Syrius is very much like the Van Helsing in the Bram Stoker novel Dracula. an expert and know it all in the arts and a master at sharptooth slaying

I guess it's also safe to assume that Kragoth was kind of like Dracula in this context XD

So it would appear. I don't think I've ever seen Van Helsing.

I'm not referring to the movie/comic book version. I'm referring to the original Bram Stoker version. who was nothing more than an old man who specialized in the knowledge of the dark arts, occultism and other such things

he was also a professor.. if my memory serves me correctly. who often spoke in riddles and long paragraphs with big wise words

to be honest, there is some irony concerning the conversation between Syrius and Longtail's uncle

Before you mentioned Longtail's effect from within the belly of a sharptooth, I was gonna have Syrius say something very similar: "I'd hate to see what that'd look like if he did that from within the belly of a Sharptooth."

no lie... I was actually thinking up that exact quote for later in the conversation

Interesting how those thoughts can occur to folks at the same time like that.   :yes

Well orignially I was going to have Longtail do something like that in my fanfic, but now...I don't know...it would seem a little physicaly impossible...maybe...I dun know!

actually, what I had pictured was something terribly graphic... a stomach explosion... YECH!

Poor Longtail would be covered in that stuff!  :x

Reminds me of an rpg, forgot which one.  You meet this npc dwarf who mentions as part of his story how he was swallowed by a dragon but ate his way out.  I assume he had on armor at the time.   Still messy either way.

Actually what I had planed was just for the sharptooth's vital blood vessel's to burst inside his body and he bleeds to death, granted all that blood has to leak out somewhere right and Longtail just crawls up and out of the sharptooth stomach....granted he's covered in stomach slime and blood, but safe none the less.

This conversation is leading me to have images of cleaning fish after a long day's fishing trip.

and mind you, cleaning fish is something I can never stomach... yes I'm that weak!  :x

Any who, back on topic. I should revive the Blackclaw and Torgo scene... though Torgo's only mentioned one line so far I'd like to know what y'all think of em ^^ and I hope some of you know the character he's really inspired from.

also, another big surprise is about to come up... not sure if it'll be in my next post or not.But it is coming!

I look for forward to it...and as for your question as to my reaction to Torgo...he seems like he has potential, and I can't wait to see what kind of evil he can create!

If anybody here is concerned about how to post after my recent add on to the story, you do not have to post where it left off. Just cut back to the valley and continue the story there =)

if it'll make ya'll feel better, I'll go ahead and edit an extra bit in which will make it easier
