Post by: The Chronicler on June 10, 2009, 10:56:13 PM: Just over a year ago, this forum reached 100,000 posts. Now, that number has nearly doubled. We are now less than 5,000 posts away from reaching a total of 200,000 posts for this forum. I'm estimating that we'll reach 200,000 posts before the end of this month.

Post by: landbeforetimelover on June 10, 2009, 11:23:24 PM: It's called an exponential post increase. Though the equation wouldn't be Value=Current^X (that would be sweet), the more members we get the faster the total posts for the board grows. I'm glad this community is still growing. :D

We're seeing good times and good friends on the GoF. As long as that continues, I couldn't be happier about what the GoF has been able to do. :)

Post by: landbeforetimelover on June 17, 2009, 01:57:35 AM: Something's not right with that archive. I joined in April of 2007 and the snapshot of GOF in August of 2007 included those weird plant things to separate the main forum sections. I wasn't here when those things were up.

I also looked up my LBT Funsite. It has an archaic snapshot from 2007 and it says it was in January of 2008. That archive isn't accurate. I abandoned the original template in 2007 but according to the archive it was still there in 2008. :blink:

The first day I joined, it looked like the snapshot from October 26, 2007.....but I joined in April of 2007. I'm sorry to say this, but the archive is way off.

Personally I think that one interesting post is worth infinitely more than any number of little content posted only in the hope of happening to be the one post which changes the counter to a number with a lot of zeros in it.
