My only question: why are we networking the microwave?
I have a networked microwave. It doesn't work right now and I got it for free from an IT professional. I'm hoping to take it apart and fix it but for now, it's not working.
A networked microwave is a real asset. It comes with a program so you can control it with your computer. Very handy for those of us who put the food in but forget to push the start button.
Honestly I really don't know why you would need to control your microwave from your computer.
