Ok this may be my last poem for a while,I should be focusing on the fic.
This poem is 'told to us' by the Shadowlanders (Hades 'slaves')
Black is night,grey is day.
Hades takes any hope away.
We will never be free of pain.
Living here has no gain.
Will the bright circle ever shine?.
Why is The Great Valley so blind?
We are suffering,we just want peace.
But the war they refuse to cease.
All we can do is watch our land die.
No one hears our desperate cries.
They say we are evil,they say we are cruel.
It's not our fault our leaders a fool!.
Every morning when we awake.
We wonder if today we will meet our fates.
Why does nobody care?
How much longer can we bare?
When will our savior come?
When will we not have to run?
Our water hole is dry.
We pray to fly.
To the suffering,say goodbye.
Most of us are generous and kind.
If you just give us a try.
We are starving,does no one see?
We will do anything free.
No one cares,and we will now always be.
The Shadowlanders and considered the Great Valley's enemies.
Goes to show you it's not the Shadowlanders that are evil,but their leader and now "Shadowlanders are evil and cruel" is a sterotype....poor girls (yes they all girls).
