Being an aunt/uncle is pretty exciting the first few times. I have 8 Nephews and 6 Nieces as well as a Great-niece. I come from a pretty large family as you can no doubt tell.

Must of been great to get that news at Christmas time. Would be cool if he/she was born in May, that is Spring time in the USA isn't it? In Australia it's Autumn. Also May babies are the best, in my own humble opinion anyway..

Hello was wondering if anyone had any advice for this matter.

The last few mornings when I put food down for my dogs, I always only put enough down for them to eat in one sitting, the first morning I whistled for them but they didn't seem hungry. One of them ate a bit out of their bowl and seemed to just nibble on it so left the food be, and did my housework. 30 minutes later I came back to see ants all through both bowls, making me need to throw out the food. I gave the bowls a scrub out and re-filled them since my dogs barely ate any of it, they ate it all fine, so I gave the bowls a wipe out and put them up until the next feed.

Now every morning when I put food down for my pets I'll go do housework and at least one bowl will have them crawling, it only happens for their morning feed strangely enough. But thats most likely my pets will eat all the food at once for their midday and night feeds.

It's getting a real pain to keep throwing out the food all the time, I'm going to buy those ant-proof trays but they are out of stock until the New Year, I had one for years and it worked great, no ants at all but it got a giant crack in it so had to toss it.

Anyone know of a temporary fix until I can get the trays? It's getting wasteful to keep throwing the food out, I keep the food stored in tubs designed mainly for pet food, nothing gets into it there, but soon as I put it down in a bowl it's an invasion.

I'm gonna spray the area my pets eat, just trying to find something that won't be chemical for my pets and lots of stuff I looked at so far is.

The ants only to seem to be after my dogs kibble. They don't bother my cats dry food.


If anyone ever had ants in their pets food bowls, please tell me how you can fix it.

Would you guys be ok if I bring in an OC? Just as a minor character, she can be a friend of a childhood Kiara or something. I just never get to use her in a RP and wanna give it a go.

Like what am I meant to do now? I'm seriously confused on what is going on, are we going back to Pride Rock or something?

Someone explain please, everyone is doing their own thing and I have no clue what is meant to be going on.

Why would Simba ask Hyenas for help though? After they helped kill his father and fought on Scar's side I doubt he'll be very fond of them, and wasn't it said in Simba's Pride that all the hyenas ran off or did I miss-hear?

And wouldn't what is really two prides (Pridelanders and the Outsiders) be able to beat one? Unless it's a supersized pride for some reason, which if we do do this would need explaining. If it's just a regular pride pretty sure the united prides will handle it just fine.

It seems kinda too soon to do something like this anyway, Kopa just returned and the family still needs to get over the shock of it all, Kopa still needs to settle back in and catch up with his parents, meet Kiara etc.

And then there will be the problem with having to strip the rights of inheriting the kingdom from Kiara and Kovu since by default, Kopa is the rightful heir. It would be best to get that out the way first before having something like that.

Not saying no to a rival pride all together, it's just way too soon and it needs to be more thought out between the group, we would need a reason for the Prides to be rivals enough for the other to try and invade.

 Some RPS do have a Skype chat to discuss their RP in, it's helpful since everyone can discuss something at the same time without waiting for a forum reply, we could try that, unless one of us don't have a Skype account then that may be a problem.

Just think it will be easier to discuss what happens in the RP as a group like that, communication between members is as important for a successful RP as the plot is, without communication half the time people won't know what's going on or what they are met to be doing.

But hey, I'm not in charge here so who am I to say.

Nala took a step back when Kopa called her mother, she narrowed her eyes "No...my son..my son is long gone..you can't be him..I have no idea who you really are but this is not funny. This is too good to be true, this has to be a set up.. the thought ran through Nala's mind. The more she looked at Kopa's face the more familiar it seemed..it looked older...but she knew it from somewhere..long ago. No...it's just a coincidence... Nala tried to tell herself. Her son was gone...wasn't he?

Nala was quick to arrive on the scene. She  approached slowly and stopped in front of the male "I am Nala, Queen of these lands. What brings you here?"

She kept a steady gaze on him..that face..it seemed familar..she cou l dnt place it though. Quickly deciding to ignore  it she dpoke calmly  but with authority. "Let that lioness up and explain yourself  to me. Im just warning you, if you dare turn on me the punishment  shall be a harsh one."


She glanced at Vitani "Go back with the cubs, I can  deal with this."
