Betas of a couple upcoming mvs

A couple mvs I started working on recently. The first is a Turok: Son of Stone mv to the song The Last Firstborn. The second is a Care Bears mv to the song Surrender.

I am currently using Sony Vegas 8.0 and no longer have the extra effects I did before, for a while, which I used in a couple past mvs (such as Gave It All Away). I'm back down to the Vegas basics unless I can get those extra effects back.

How do we place text in sony vegas? everytime I try, it will replace the screen

Strange. The movie won't load hardly at all for me. I can get the first 1.5 seconds and that's about it. Youtube must be really slow right now or something.

To add text, you go into Media Generators, Text, and drag down the text style of your choice. Then you click on the square-like icon (third one at the top; present only in Media Generator type stuff) and edit it. You can change the text size, font, color, etc. In..Effects I believe, there should be one bar matching the color of the text and another bar matching the background color. Slide the background color all the way down and this will make only the text visible. Oh and make sure you add in a separate video track for the text.

Weird maybe its because I'm using a different version. Some buttons you mention don't seem to appear.

You probably got the pirated version. Most of Vegas' features are missing on the pirated 9.0 version. I suggest getting an original copy from your local retail store, or just downgrade to 8.0.

Trust me - I have 9.0 too, pirated, and it doesn't look very good. So I went back to using 8.0
