Reddit blackout

(1/1)

Mumbling:
Not sure if any of you use Reddit somewhat frequently, but even if you don't you may have heard of the so-called blackout that started yesterday. Reddit is the so maniest piece of social media that decides to change things drastically in order to get more money (presumably) and therefore killing off its userbase. Here's a news article in case you wish to read up on it: https://www.theverge.com/2023/6/5/23749188/reddit-subreddit-private-protest-api-changes-apollo-charges

Do you guys think temporarily closing subreddits will have any effect on the higher-up's decisions?

Here's a fun website on which you can see which subreddits have gone private: https://reddark.untone.uk/
