Im starting a role play,you can be who you want but make sure that someone isn't who you are already!Im going to be me (a pink and purple microraptor in love with Guido) so lets start you can be anyone who is on lbt........ :D :p :lol :wow

Do you have a plot in mind, or just a casual sort of rp with no set plot unless one of the other rpers may mention to you by pm? Also you may want to do a list of who's playing which character so the others interested can refer to that post, or someone can do that for you.
Not sure who I'd play, besides one of my lbt oc's. I've done all of the main fc's at least once before. I think I may let others pick for a while first on the fc's they'd like to pick.

I prefer a roleplay with more of a storyline or purpose. I won't join one that doesn't at least give some kind of starting point.

I think that gives us 4 players and characters, if everyone has 1 each. But it sounds like you might play several characters, Kor?
I'm not too experienced with starting RPs, so I'll let you guys decide what happens next. Should we wait for more players?

Maybe more people will join if there's a storyline. Since you seem to be the biggest Guido fan around since... well, ever, I guess it could revolve around him? Say, for example, Guido gets sick and we have to do / find something to help him. But you're the creator of this RP, so it's up to you.

There could be 1 story arc, or maybe a series of shorter ones, like in the tv series.

Most of the gang should know the way, so we'd need at least 1 of them. Likely we'd have several of the gang so that'll be easily handled.

I guess since the storyline about Guido getting sick seems to be one you like guidolover, we could stick with that one, at least to start off with until we get some more ideas. So it could start off with you hanging around with Guido, then you notice he looks sick. So you get a group to help you get those flower things for him (you can probably tell I don't have much experience with RP's...)
I guess I could try playing one of the gang, but I'm not sure how good I'd be at keeping in character.

You could also be an oc. If you have no idea for a species, Ducky & Petrie have a lot of sibblings, and there are lots of other swimmer and flyer types around. & other species too.
I agree, we can start with Guido being sick, then before that is concluded someone may get another plot idea and that can be the 2nd one.

If I play 2 characters, and you both play 1 each that's 4 in total. I mind find it helpful if someone else also plays another one of the gang so I can see how it's done best, and that could bring up the character count too.
Also, is LBTLover1 playing? He started to at one point, so if he plays that could be around 6 characters. Is that enough to start?

None as far as I know. Since my OC is a flyer, I'd prefer to play someone who walks, so maybe either Littlefoot, Spike or Cera? If you guys want to play as feature characters, I'll just pick from who's left.

I can do Ducky or Petrie, I've done them both before in rp's the most often of all the gang.

I like the plot line of guido getting sick (:o) but how abut this: a contagious illness that's spreading around the Great Valley and once Guida contracts it, the Gang decides to stop it.
Just a suggestion, you don't have to do that, it is just an idea^^

I may be intrested in this,but please ssomebody could esplain me how do you do role playing in a forum,and what are the rules?I have never done RPing in a forum.

At worst maybe we could sort of run it together, everyone interested who starts the rp off.
As for how to rp, it's similar to posting on the forum like normal, but you pretend to be 1 character when you post in the rp thread. Most wait for the others to post before they post again. When you do post if you are doing 1 character, say Cera for example, you post describing what you think Cera would do and say.
I think there are some LBT rp's that you can look at for examples. Not sure if I was able to explain it well enough. I find rping fun, but it's not for everyone.

Okay thanks.I was just unsure about how to do it in forums.I have done RPing like D&D before in a group,and enjoyed it,so I want to give this a try.
By the way I see that you share your ideas about it here,so I tell what's came into my mind too.I think we should use Guido's mysterious past,like becose of the sickness he fall unconscious,and start to talk about the place he came from,and we could try to reach that place to seek aid from the dinos there,who maybe alredy meet with that sickness.But that's just an idea,so only if you like it.

Your idea could fit. Do you have a specific place in mind the group may need or want to go to? Or more like Guido starts to remember where he came from and the direction to get there sort of thing?

I thought this one.I think it would make sense that becose of the changed mind state he starts to speak about his last lost memories which is about the trip from his home to the Great Valley.He could mention the unique sights,and we could folow them.And we could put some dangerous places there just to make it fun :yes .What do you think about it?

Is it a must to have all the original characters played in a strict lbt role play?I can try Guido but only if that's the last chance,I don't realy remember his speaking style and his personality.

In the past a strict lbt has been the characters can be original characters, many shorten to OC"S, but they have to be the types & species who could have been in the show. No having folks who are humans, vulcans, ect pop up who came through a gate, starship or something else.
Though most have tried to have, at least, the gang filled out first, as for who will play a character. Some folks do rp as more then 1 character and some do just 1.

Since we have only 4 players,I think we should do at least 2 character each.
I saw a list about what characters should be taken in a lot other rps.I think we should make one list too.Choosing a character would be easier then.

I wouldn't mind playing Littlefoot, and if there's a main character left over from the list I could try playing them as well.
Even though it looks like she might have forgotten about this, I'll send Guidolover a message to see if she wants to join in, since she originally suggested this RP.

Name:Tar
Species:Utahraptor
apperance:bright underbelly,brown legs and back with green stripes.Gross colors to help him hide,red eyes.Black feathers.
Behavior:Ambushing hunter.Always tries to attack from behind or from hiding places.
Personality:Like ervery raptor,loves to hunt.The reward of the good prey is the quick death.He is cunning,arrogant,,and agressive even with his own species.Not as good teamplayer as a raptor usually is.
Background:He hunted and lived with a pack since he was a hatchling.One day he ruined a hunt which had good posibilities by not careing what the rest of the pack planned,so he got bannished by the alphamale of the group.He knows that it's dangerous to be alone,so he wants to be with the pack again by bringing food to them.Five young dinosaur should do ;)
I think we should start this RP.Maybe others will join while we play it,and we can left out some characters anyway.The spreading sickness gives us a good reason while some of them isn't to active.
If nobody minds I will chose Spike from the gang.

Sounds like a good antagonist, Blais. I like how he relies more on stealth than just brute force. Should be interesting to see him in action.
Should we wait a few more days to see if any more characters get chosen, then start the RP? Maybe once it gets underway more people will join in.

Since I'm already playing Littlefoot, I could also play Grandma & Grandpa Longneck. If there's any characters left over that nobody wants to play as, we could always just leave the character out of the RP and have someone mention that they're busy doing something, so it's explained why they aren't there.

I have the movie and tv episode he appears in on dvds, so I could do him if you want. I'd have to watch the episode to try to get the feel of his character and speech pattern, if there is one.
