Once a Week MSN Group Chat RP

For those who have MSN, and free time on Friday (or Saturday. still in debate) I'm considering arranging a type of group Chat RP. Where everyone will be RP'ing live.

I'm just pitching the idea to hear your opinions. The time for the RP will be set about 7:30 my time (Central Eastern Time, US)

The RP will follow a story that will continue to grow each wek with each meeting. Though the story material is still not decided. Perhaps there'll be another atempt at the GoF LBT crossover RP which failed when I couldnt RP anymore last year.

So what say you?

I've scheduled the first meeting two weeks from now and on a Friday (or Saturday)

I don't plan to join in to these RP chats, but if anyone wants a central clock, at the bottom of my servers main directory the time it says is constantly set for the Central time zone. If anyone wants to use that to coordinate the meeting time, be my guest.

I like normal chats more than I would like RP chats. But then again I have like no free time on fridays for the upcoming weeks so. And I have no idea what time it would be over here

You'll need a setting, and characters that are ok for others to bring in, ect. Also some folks may prefer to talk instead of rp.

okay. then just consider it a party where we can all get together and chat about RP's? =P

really I just like the idea of a type of GoF RP related party once a week

Or have, at times, 2 group rp's, one that is just chat and one that has the rp in it.

I actually thought of that idea as well, but I wasn't sure if that formula would work for others.

We'd need to start two chatrooms in MSN to have it function.

One could also change sigs. Maybe that would be a solution. So, if there is a timezone, where we would like to do a rp once a week, then everybody could write something like: Ready for RP, invite me, in their sig. So one could invite all the ones, who have this sentence in their signature and could play a rp.

perhaps for some, but some like myself do not use msn. I use pidgin myself, and others may use other programs too. Not sure what others think of this idea.

Well, that's true, but since so far we have no problems chatting... you may be able to participate. But for other people, maybe the only way if they are interested and can post here if they have issues or suggestions.
As for me, as I am expending my time making some 3d models for the Battlestar Galactica project for the game Star Trek Armada2, I may not be able to participate properly.

Maybe you can in the chatting or just small chatts or rp's that involve only a few other folks at most.
