Ever had this problem before? Where you find the lyrics to a song and no matter how hard you try, you just can't hear said lyrics?
Well, let's talk about them here.
My most recent has to be with Weird Al's song "Party in the CIA".
At one point, the correct lyrics are:
"Need a country to destabilize"
But what I hear is:
"Need a country to stabilize"
Yeah, may be small, but it bothers me. I just seriously cannot hear the right lyrics.
What are your instances? Talk about them.

There's a lyric in "Do You Remember?" by The Beach Boys that is supposed to say "He made the guitar beats" but since Mike Love sings it so fast it sounds more like "He made the guitar pizza" :SharptoothAmused

35 seconds into Henry Hall's old horror song "Hush Hush Hush (Here Comes the Boogeyman) (https://youtu.be/h2gZXzCzFv4?t=35)" he says the line "Just pretend that you're a crocodile". For years I'd thought the line was "Just pretend that you're of proper guile", probably since the singer was recorded on 1930's technology and the lyric still fits the song pretty well.

Another one for me is, again, a Beach Boys song: "Little Honda". Mike says the lyric "It climbs hill like a Matchless" so fast it ends up sounding like "It climbs hills like a mattress"

Oh boy! Do I ever have a problem with this one. The most egregious is as follows.
What I hear - "Kiss from a rose on the grave"
The Real Lyrics - "Kiss from a rose on the grey"
Heard it that way for years and it's still a problem to this day.
