And out of interest

Back when I joined there were relatively few girls... Has this changed over time?

Male. I've been around a long time, but there are quite a few new faces and I don't post as much as I used to. So in case there was any question of it.....I'm male.

I've always thought there should be a male/female thing under the avatar. It shouldn't be required, but should be an option to select when signing up (or you can change it in your profile). Does Invision offer an option like that?

You are most definitely a male. Even with trisomy, a Y chromosome always makes male traits appear. Yay, biology. (I'm not implying you have trisomy, btw. It was just an example.)

I said I had A y chromosome. As in I am a Y chromosome. I use a q-tip made entirely of shed histones stickyglued onto a handle made of microtubules that I manipulate with my massive centromere-centred toungue to type out my posts.
