I gather one of them is going to be the Search for the Sky Colour Stones from the picture it self.

Yay!  I knew LBT wasn't dead.  But seriously, I cannot believe the dope at Universal Studios saw that cover and said that was acceptable. :x That's just god awful.  It'd be better if they just showed a screenshot from the movie itself instead of having something like that as a cover.  That cover makes me wonder why I even like LBT. :bang

Thanks for the info on the upcoming dvd.  The cover does seem to reveal at least 1 of the 4 episodes on it.  I still wonder why they don't do a screenshot instead of paying an artist to do a picture.  One would think it would be faster and cheaper since I'd guess no one would have to be paid to do a screenshot.

Dang, I'd pay them NOT to do draw that cover! I don't see how that cover is gonna help sell the movies.  Perhaps it's a ploy by the upper ranks of Universal to make LBT crash by making the movies unappealing.

That's great news.
Though, the cover isn't that bad but not good either. There is something missing. Something when you look at shelves you then go like "Hey, what's this?". ;)

The covers should be more eyecatching.  =)

That will make most of the episodes on dvd.  If it has 4 it'll bring the total on dvd up to 20 I think, out of 26.

Well two of the episodes for the TV Series been speicals on two of the movies. LBT 12 had LBT tvseries DVD with it as Walmart speical then you have LBT 13 with a TV series with that.

So that would make one more TV Series DVD to go.

Yeeaahh!  LBT ain't dead!  Take that, ya haters!

Okay, now to calm down :bang.  As I had stated in a previous post regarding the cover image issue, 'That would be thinking now, would'nt it?' in response to them using a screenshot.  I personally don't mind the images and tend to overlook any imperfections, and the whole "cover image" thing is no reason to dislike LBT .  If anyone else despises the image, perhaps we can have Universal hire Sky to do the images B).  That would be cool :yes  ;).  I'm definitely excited about this, and hopefully this will keep fans' spirits up in regards to the series continuing with further sequels :).

Heh, I actually don't mind the image at all, either!  It's friendly, inviting, a little bit mysterious...I actually find the cover quite good. :)

As for LBT being dead...Correct me if I'm wrong but all they're doing is releasing existing TV episodes to DVD.  Until we see some new *content*, I'd still say it's basically dead.

I just hope fans aren't too disappointed if we see no more developments from LBT.  I just have this strange feeling that it's done...

though that's getting a bit off-topic. :p

Why do movie and tv series die?  Because not enough people like them anymore.  It costs a lot of money to put these tv eps onto DVD and Universal wouldn't do that if they didn't expect to see a large profit from it.  If this DVD sells well, I'm sure they'll continue the movies and maybe even the tv series (though I sincerely hope not.  I'm not a big fan of the series).

That makes two of us.  I don't find the TV series to be "Too much LBT".  I just find that the TV episodes are LBT without much content.  My major issue with the TV series are the length of the episodes and how little story/development there is in any one episode.  I found the movies plenty short enough, often bordering on too short for my tastes.  I also found that the TV series started taking LBT in a very new direction, even moreso than LBT 13 did.

You know me, I'm a bit conservative when it comes to LBT.  :p  Don't change my LBT or I start getting overly critical! :D  :lol

Same goes for me, but still I had no issues with any of the TV series episodes I have watched so far (I'm still saving a few) as strong as the issues I have had with some of the sequels.

I don't see the release of another DvD with episodes produced long ago (a release that was almost certainly planned long ago as well) as a sign for the continuation of LBT. We don't know anything certain. It may be possible that there is yet more to come, but unless we want to suffer from further disappointment we should not count on this to the degree where it would border some kind of denial.

I believe they been coming up with so many ideas now that been used that they finding it hard to figure out a new LBT story line, so this could be a break phase for them to come up with fresh new things for the LBT movies and TV Series before they remake them again.

And add to that, they could be figuring out a plot line in their own time as well for the explaining of Ruby and Chomper introducing Red Claw into the picture as well why they felt to the Valley in the First place.

I will never say LBT is dead. that too harsh and too deep of a cutting word here. We can't let our spirits die because of what happened to the offices at the moment.

Keep your spirits up guys!

It comes out on August 26th, Stars ;).  I checked the Wal-Mart website to verify this date B).  I admit, the image is quite cute, especially due to the fact they have Cera AND Ducky on it :^.^:.  My two favorite characters...they're adorable :^.^:  :)  .
