Mo's expression tells us that Mo himself realizes something is wrong with him, he can't be swimming sharptooth, or else he can't be Littlefoot's mud brother!

Yeah, it appears that Mo's attempts to integrate his Mosasaurus friend into the Gang the same way as Chomper just didn't pan out.
