OOC: Ok, I told myself I wasn't going to start up a thread this newly into this forum and I really thought this would have been done before but...anyone curious about what would happen if John Hammond's Jurassic Park brought back our beloved gang (and any OC's you feel want in ;) dino or human) and they got to explore that world!
Oh and for simplicities (but not best explained) sake, I'm going with the scientists brought the hatchlings (and adults accordingly) back as they were and there doesn't have to be re-hatching or anything.
Also do you guys want to swap off movie characters or assign? Up to discussion, using Ducky for this first post anyway.
BIC:
dark sky puffies filled the sky and she could feel the heat from the sky fire caused not long ago getting worse and worse. "Keep walking dear, we have to get beyond the rock wall to see if...", her mother's coughing fits stopped her from talking much more and the young swimmer simply kept a line of sight on both her and her siblings all walking towards one spot.
The voice cried out again. "This way folks, we'll be out soon...I'm sure". Littlefoots' grandfather's voice had hardly ever calmed her so much and she struggled to keep going even as she noticed a blob drop from the sky once more. "Oh Petrie!" the young swimmer rushed forward, hugging her friend who had fallen, "are the dark sky puffies making it hard for you to fly too?". All flyers had been having the same problem, she knew, as Petrie's youngest uncle Tylr and his little one, Kit soon followed, the adult landing a bit more gracefully than the young ones though...then came the horrible sound of all the smoking mountains apprently going off at once...
With deep pants, Ducky came out of her horrible nightmare that she could have sworn happned only a few moments ago...but now...as she looked around there was green grass and a blue sky once more and she heard the slight mutterings denoting dinosuars about somewhere but too far for their voiced to be understood.
All a dream? Was it really just that?! But wait...this was not the Great Valley...w-where were they.
"D-Ducky?" a voice said and the swimmer turned to find... "Kit!" she rushed forward to at lest the first familiar face present. She had to run past some cold black tree branches (cage bars) she noticed, but hardly paid this much attention as she hugged her friend.
"Is Petrie here?" she next asked. "He's hiding behind one of those bushes, still scared" Kit answered. At the first sight of good news and normalcy once more, Ducky smiled.

He blinked several times, and his head hurt...alot! He blinked a few more times, and suddenly something became all too clear...his vision was upside down. He blinked once more to make sure he wasn't being stupid, and then rolled over onto the ground. His head still hurt, and then he realized something else: he couldn't remember anything! Well except for his own name which he promptly said aloud:
"Longtial...Skyfire." But nothing else came to him. He looked around for a moment and thought he could see someone he recognized. He stepped over to them, he could tell they were at least friendly, and then his memory kicked in again as he called out.
"K-KIT! Ducky!!! Over here!" said Longtail hoping his memory was right.

(ooc: Maybe you'd want to start a discussion thread for folks who want to ask questions, unless you'd prefer folks to ask questions here or to pm you. Up to you though. & assuming Chomper is ok, if not I"ll remove the paragraph where he is. )
Chomper looked around a bit, feeling odd, but as he got up and moved around he started to feel better. He looked around and saw they were somewhere else and it had many odd unusual smells. He started to sniff around to get a better idea of where he was and once he smelled some familiar scents he started to move quickly in that direction calling out, "Ducky, Petrie, Littlefoot, Cera, Spike? Are you guys here too? Where are we?" He asked once he started to draw near where Ducky was.
Diver awoke and closed her eyes quickly as she felt the light stab into her eyes. She rolled onto her belly and slowly opened her eyes as they grew use to the light. "What happened? I certainly do not feel normal, I certainly do not." She said to no one in particular. Waiting till she felt a bet better before she tried sitting up.
Elsewhere Mim awoke and not feeling to well right off made her way as best as she could to where some water was and drank a bit then she sat down till she felt better, not yet looking around.

(Yeah I thought of that. PM's are fine for now but I may also created a thread too, eitherway, yeah Chomper's more than fine, something tells me it's more than possible for a little baby T-rex to wander out of those cages ;))
As the two girls first noticed Longtail's voice, Ducky and Kit both looked shocked and then promptly rushed over to where he was.
"Longtail! Oh you are alright, you are, you are!" Ducky said happily.
Kit helped him up, "Are you alright? Gosh I thought all that sky fire was gonna burn the whole Valley or something".
"You remember it too?" Ducky sounded surprised. She glanced around, "Well...it seems to be over now, it does".
Petrie also heard both Longtail and Chomper's call and smiled that more familiar faces were about. He flapped over to give Chomper a hug that was half out of fear and half a normal hug, "Chomper....Petrie very glad you here, everyone else too" he said with a bright smile.
Ducky laughed, "Oh Petrie you were not scared, were you?". The flyer looked like he didn't want to answer.
Off on the field, still visible but far off, a herd of what the children would all call longnecks were moving off. The one up front, one Kit definitely didn't recognize, sighed, "Are the old one's and their young boy keeping up?" he asked impatiently once more.
"Maybe they know were we are?" Kit threw out to the others, "should we ask?".

Chomper hugged Petrie back. "Gosh, I'm glad to see you guys," Chomper said looking at Petrie first then at some of the ones he knew around, "But do any of you know where we are? It smells like a new place." Chomper said. Chomper looked in the direction and area where Kit was looking, "It may be a good idea, but maybe I should hide. Some do not know I'm a friendly sharptooth and may get scared." Chomper said.

Diver slowly got up into a sitting position and looked around, seeing she was in a new different location she wondered how she had gotten there and if anyone she knew or her family would be there also.
Meanwhile Mim, feeling better got up into a standing position and looked around, sniffing and eating a leaf she tore off as she walked around and looked around at the new different location and wondered how she had gotten there. She thought she recognized a figure, a young swimmer and walked over toward the figure.
"Hello." Mim called out to the figure who looked over in her direction and waved back. Mim walked over to where she was and knelt down. "Nice to see someone familiar here." Mim said.
"It certainly is. But I wonder if anyone else is here." Diver wondered, glad to see someone but wondering if anyone else was here.
"Let's go and walk around.," Mim said standing up and squinting as she put a hand above her eyes to shield her eyes. "I see what might be a young swimmer over that way and some others not to far." Mim said, then she looked down at Diver, "Want to come along?" she asked.
"Yes, I certainly would, better then being alone." Diver said. Mim picked her up and put her on her back and they set off at a casual walking pace towards the other figures she saw in the distance.

"We trying to figure that out" Petrie answered Chomper's question on where were they. "Oh...good point" Kit realized on Chomper saying he should stay back. "Ok, I guess since I suggested it I'll go ask...wish me luck" she wasn't sure why she said this, yet as Kit flapped over apparently she had had the right idea because the leader of the longnecks frowned as Kit flapped in front of him.
"Um...excuse me Sir" Kit said, "would you happen to know where...".
"Beat it kid, we don't have time to talk to some dumb flyer" the leader said, snubbing his nose up a bit and ducking his head to walk past. Apparently he hadn't been near the Great Valley ever, Kit thought.
She frowned, "I was just gonna ask if you knew where we were! Is it anywhere near the Great Valley? That's where we gotta get".

From where they watched, Ducky frowned, "I do not think it is going well, I don't, I don't" she said. She noticed what looked like some others walking up and turned as they got closer.

Chomper jumped into a nearby busy, remaining as quiet as he could so he'd not be seen by anyone, or so he hoped.
Mim continued walking towards where the others had been, still carrying Diver on her back who was looking around her neck to look ahead, and look around her also at times.

As Kit was asking where they were, something she said caught longtails attention. He turned to Petrie and asked, "Wait...what's the Great Valley? Is that something I should know about?" He didn't want to sound stupid, but he honestly didn't remember anything...and it was starting to unnerve him.

Cyrix was standing near a pond staring at this reflection knowing this place wasn't home. He had no clue as to how he got here, but he was now more determined to find out for sure! With a shrug of his shoulders he turned and began walking around hoping to run into someone he could speak to about this place.

(Ok, Cory's coming in here too and I wasn't even trying for that! Somehow I'm not surprised he's not leaving me alone though ;) Oh and I'm guessing Frank's a scientist? Ok, bring him on in)
Petrie turned to Longtail with the biggest look of shock on his face. He didn't remember the Great Valley?! "You...you not remember Great Valley?!" he asked. "Why...it great...it...it...", that's when Petrie noticed his own words of desciption fail him.
He could see it...well...a blurred imagine of it...green and water and a wall, and...it was home. He knew this, but he found that as he tried to describe it beyond this one thought he couldn't. He didn't recall why it had been different than what surrounded them excpet that it was somewhere else and...
"It like that" Petrie pointed to the field where the longnecks were and tired, "but...it got a wall 'cause...something about separating sharpteeth...I...I think".
"Separating sharpteeth?" a voice asked and soon a young crested swimmer climbed the hill. He stared like he was trying to face faces as well with names. It was coming slow though. Cory'd been in this weird place without a clue as to where his mother was for about five bright circles already, and having always been an explorer, he'd traveled far enough to glimpse the huge wall from which the sharpteeth growls came, but he hadn't been over.
"Well that's always a good thing" he answered these others he though he knew, "and the huge wall that does such is that way" he pointed in the general direction.
"Oh...maybe that Great Valley..." Petrie tried to think.
Ducky had been staring, head tilted, at Cory for a while and suddenly her eyes went wide. "Cory!" she cried, recognizing the other swimmer. She hugged him tightly, spinning around. "Oh you are ok too, I am glad, yep yep yep!".

While this had been going on, Kit had been really productive and when she returned back to the others, she was riding on Littlefoot's head and beaming brightly. "Look who I found!" she said. Littlefoot laughed, "Hey guys...uh Longtail you ok?" he asked, the poor flyer looked like he was about to be sick.

Longtail gave Littlefoot a weak smile and then shuddered as he fell backwards and hit his head against a rock. "Ow... I don't fell too well...and I-I can't remember..anything" He looked up to face Littlefoot and sighed as he closed his eyes and immediately fell asleep.
Cyrix was now walking with a slower pace looking around and taking in the sights. This may not have been the Great Valley, but it did have a certain calm feeling to it, that much was certain. "Well...I'm sure there has to be someone around here...although it is rather quiet around here. Perhaps I am alone...well...more time for me to think." Cyrix said with a smile.

(Oh, ok)
Dropping Cory, quite literally given the speed of her twirling, Ducky rushed over to where Longtail had fallen. "Oh...he does not feel good I don't think" she said looking up at Littlefoot with a sad frown.
Littlefoot smiled and as Kit flapped off his head, she and Ducky helped move Longtail onto Littlefoot's back for easy transport and not having to wake him.
"Ok then, let's go" Cory said, beginning to walk off.
"Go..." Kit looked confused, "Where?".
"To the wall of course" Cory said, "from the most we all know the Great Valley is behind a wall and there's only one around here that I've found so far, so that's gotta be a good starting place, so come on" he said, for once leading the way and forgetting to ask of Littlefoot wanted to do that.
Kit hopped along to follow a bit, but then glanced back to the others with a frown of if they should or not, she just had this bad feeling. There were shrugs to show no one's really knew either.
"Maybe they want to come too" Cory pointed to the swimmers (?) Mim and Diver off just a way away. "Hey!" he called out as he rushed over, "We're gonna go to the wall since that might be the Great Valley, wanna come?" the young one asked.

The youth struggled to not breath to deeply as he kept his gaze fixed on the Parasauralophus right infront of him. Slowly he raised his camera, intent to click the button as quietly as possible and not startle the creature.
He did and then smiled and watched as the dinosaur moved off to drink. Only once the huge dinosaur had left and there was no risk of startling him did the voice sounds, "Quite done yet?".
Peter turned back to the adult behind him, "Oh...hi Uncle Henry" his voice was flat. Henry gently but firmly hauled his seventeen year old nephew up by his shirt sleeve, "Like Iv'e told you a hundred times, you're suppose to be helping us make these dinosaurs, not taking pictures of them".
"Yeah I know..." Peter tried to explain, "but I was just...".
"Peter" his uncle turned to him, "you're only here because I promised your mother I could make you a scientists, if you don't do that I'm going to have to explain why I wasted your final years of High School for nothing and then...".
"It was just one little break, I'm paying attention to the science stuff, honest, it's just...there are dinosaurs just back there!" the youth pointed like an excited child, "you're not a bit excited about that!".
Henry smiled, "I guess I was when I was first here, but let's get you back to work so my loving sister doesn't yell at me again" he steered Peter towards where the buildings of Jurassic Park stood once more.
Peter smiled, "That was only because you called Aunt Zelda a...well something I'm not suppose to repeat" he laughed.

"So are you enjoying your time here at the park,' frank asked the two walking up to them.

Mim waved back as did Diver, "Hello, how are things?" Mim said happily as she got close enough to call out to them.
Diver waved also, happy to see the others. "I'm certainly glad to see you guys, I certainly am." She said happy and smiling.
Chomper cautiously came out. "Gee, do you think we are just outside the Great Valley but got kinds lost? Your folks'll be worried about you." Chomper said.

"Well I'll tell you one thing bring dinosaurs back is not easy one slip up,' frank said snapping his fingers before continuing "you can end up as one which is what happened to me when I tried the same thing in the early 80's but I regained my normal form I found out that not all of the dino traits left,' frank said revealing his tail to peter and henry.

Kit smiled, both at more Great Valley residents showing up and the idea that maybe they were just lost outside the Valley, just as Ducky now rushed up and hugged Diver really tight happy to see her sister again.
"Hmm...could be" Cory admitted to Chomper's idea, "and now that I think about it that big wall I saw didn't look anything like the Great Valley wall, I think we gotta look elsewhere".
"Yeah, if we all stick together we should avoid sharpteeth pretty easily, he smiled to Ducky and Petrie, just like five of us did before". Ducky and Petrie smiled back.
Kit frowned, "Yeah, when you guys got all the fun going to the Great Valley on your on while we were babysat while the grown-ed ups had meetings all the time on the way" she whispered to herself about how the trip to the Great Valley with the adults didn't seem as fun as Littlefoot, Petrie, Ducky and the others made their trip sound.
"Yeah, you're probably right" Cory said, "even if I haven't seen any sharpteeth except for Chomper here since I been here".

Peter jumped a bit at the sight of Frank's tail and then smiled, "Uh...yeah, I'll remember to be careful around the chemicals" the teen said.
Henry just gave a not fully pleased smile at this security personel freaking his nephew out, but the sooner Peter got use to the personel around here the best if he was to work here, Henry figured.
"Well that's why we're taking really big precautions now" Henry replied.
Peter shook his head, getting over the tail thing, "I'm seeing it and I"m still stunned Mr. Hammond, with folks like my Uncle Henry's help, is managing to bring dinosaurs to life! It's like...probably the biggest scientific discovery ever!".

Mim put Diver down once they drew near and Diver ran up to hug Ducky as she was hugged. "
"It was scary for my 3 friends and me till we got back to our families, it certainly was. I'm glad Deon was able to follow their smell." Diver said after a bit of hugging Ducky.
"Maybe all the other sharpteeth are far away, or maybe there are stone walls so far away we can't see them and that keeps them out." Chomper said.
Mim nods, "It could well be that, or other possibilities as well." Mim said.

"Yes but still don't forget about murphy's law,' frank said.

"Ah right" Peter said, "the anything that can happen will...um...well then...I guess I'm doomed".
Henry chuckled a bit, "Don't worry Pete, keeping your mother from killing me is another reason I'll watch real carefully to make sure nothing happen like what did to Mr. Anderson here.
"Well we must be getting back to the lab" Henry went on, "Unless you have to stay specifically at your post I suppose you can come along". Just stop freaking out my nephew he thought but didn't say that part as the group (with or without Frank as he chooses) made their way back towards the lab.
"Hey do you think we'll bump into Mr. Hammond?" Peter asked, sounding every bit the star struck kid, he'd only seen the man busily bustling about every now and then. Henry laughed, "Don't worry Peter, you have to bump into him eventually, he runs everything here".

"Yes, that could be it" Ducky admitted. "So...if that's the case...we're in another Great Valley?" Cory asked, trying to figure out what what Chomper said might mean.

Longtail finally began to stir himself awake. He blinked several times as he asked in a confused tone.
"W-where are...we. Its...a...wall? Why are we here, shouldn't we be looking for this Great Valley place?"

John Hammond at that moment happened to be carrying a clipboard in his left hand and using his walking cane in his right, and was far too preoccupied to see Pete or Henry coming around the corner, and bumped into the two. Hammond dropped his clipboard from the sudden stop and chuckled.
"One of these days, if I'm not careful I may just walk right into one of the dinosaur habitats and then I'd be in real trouble." he said with an amused tone. He then looked who he'd bumped into. "Oh dear I'm sorry boys. Here let me help pick this up."

Chomper thinks for a bit, "Didn't Littlefoot lead you guys to the Great Valley? Maybe he can again." He says after thinking back to some of the stuff the gang told him.
Diver nods, "I heard the stories that he did, I certainly did." Diver said nodding remembering some of the stories she had heard. "Ducky said that and I heard other stories that said that also." She paused for a moment, "Though I did hear a story once that said that Cera lead them to the Great Valley. But only once and that was long ago."

Ducky giggled but not unkindly to Longtail, "Yes we still plan to do that, we do" she answered the fleyr.
"Yeah I heard that too" Kit replied to Chomper with a smile. She turned her smile over to Petrie to find her cousin all but frowning. "Petrie...?" she asked. The flyer let out a sigh and shrugged, "That...not go so well, me fall in sinking sands pool and she not even notice, Littlefoot and other even have to save me".
"Oh..." Kit frowned a bit, "Maybe that's why she never mentioned it. Gee speaking of Cera I wonder if she's around too?".
"Well perhaps our first thing to do should see if we can't find her" Littlefoot said, "Her and Spike, Come on guys if they are around we shouldn't leave them all alone wherever they are". With this Littlefoot began to lead at least the kids out much like he always did.

Henry smiled, "Oh that's quite alright sir" he bent to help the Park's runner pick up the items. Peter, on the other hand, just stood there, "Wow..." he breathed, "Y-your Mr. Hammond...like actually here! Wow I knew I'd meet you working with Uncle Henry and all but...it's like...an honor, sir".
Henry looked both a bit embarrassed and amused, "Um meet my nephew Peter McIntire, Mr. Hammond" he pointed out, "he's interning down in the incubator room, getting a bit better of an education than one more year of High School's likely to provide".
Peter snapped out of his admiration a bit and now bent to hand Hammond his clipboard back, "Uh...yeah, plus considering my scientific discussions paper on trying to prove a Raptor's maternal instincts was deemed poorly researched I don't think I'm missing much" he chuckled a bit.

"Ah Mr. Hammond good to see you around and all the hallways are secure and there is no fence damage,' frank said walking up to the group while continuing his patrol of the hallway.

Chomper started to follow Littlefoot walking along as he started sniffing while holding his muzzle up and moving it around a bit as he sniffed trying to see if he could catch any scent of Cera or Spike.

Longtail blinked, and slowly slid off of Littlefoots back. He stepped up to the wall as he spoke.
"You guys go ahead...I'll catch up...I wanna see something, about this wall." he then reached out and places his claw on it. Immediately his eyes widened and memories from his past came flooding back, as if the Thundering falls had landed on his head. He remembered everything! But in his shocked state he fell backwards again and landed on his back with a smile. 'Alright...but..wait...I remember more, like...HOW I GOT HERE!' thought Longtail as his happiness turned to anger.

John stood back up with a smile. "Ah Frank good to see you here too." he then faced Pete and chuckled.
"So it seems I'm a local celebrity here. I never thought of it that way before." he then thought about what Henry had said. "Ahh the incubator room...one of my favorites! So Henry, where were you, Pete and Frank headed? I suppose the DNA labs can wait a while longer for these notes...after all...I pay them!"

Pete smiled, not really sure if Mr. Hammond was kidding or not, "Uh, well Sir" he answered for his uncle, "we were just heading back to the Incubator room to see about getting me back on task on watching some of the one's who aren't hatched out there".
Henry looked confused at what his nephew said, "Pete, there aren't any hatchling or anything out there yet, we're still breeding them all in our inucubator room, remember I told you that, for control and all that".
"Oh" Pete said, "But while I was out there I saw a little Stegosaurus hatchling in a bush" he answered. Henry frowned deeply.
Just then Dennis and another random personnel hurried down the corridor, "I told you to...!" he began to hiss at his companion before stopping at the sight of Hammond and the others.
"Ah, Mr. Hammond" Dennis chuckled, "I was just getting a soda and then I was gonna go watch those computers again, no worries, no shirking here, come on" he tugged his companion along the hallway.
Peter frowned, "He's a bit...odd" he admitted.

Kit frowned inquisitively at Longtail wanting to be alone but shrugged and decided to let him do it. Ducky glanced back though in time to see Longtail fall and both her and Kit rushed over to help him up. "Longtail, are you alright?" Ducky asked. "What happened?" Kit asked, she was perplexed by Longtail's look of anger.

"I was just heading for the lounge since my shift ended two or three minutes ago,' frank said.

Longtail felt Kit and Ducky helping him to stand up, and when he realized he still held his face in anger he sighed and tried to smile but coudn't. He then asked without turning to face either of them:
"Is there a mark on my back, kind of like a sharptooth tried to bite me? Cause if there is...then I at least know how I got here and why I couldn't remember anything."

John nodded to Frank. "Alright you do need your rest. I however will be accompanying Pete and Henry down to the Incubator Room." He then watched as Dennis pulled the other scientest down the hall. "He's highly qualified, but odd is probably the right word for him." Hammond then turned and began walking back to the incubator room.

"Yes he is a strange fellow,' frank said to himself after Hammond and the others walked off.

Kit and Ducky looked a bit perplexed. Ducky peered nonetheless, "Um...yeah" she said, "there is a small mark here" she pointed.
"Were you attacked or hit while we were fleeing all that sky fire and burning mountain water?" Kit asked, since that was the last thing she could really recall having happened.

Henry Taylor (since he need's another last name being Pete's maternal uncle) continued leading both Mr. Hammond and Pete back down towards the Incubation room. "I really do like it in here too, Mr. Hammond" the teen commented as they walked on in, "it's so neat, watching them all hatch and stuff".
"Ah sir" another personnel rushed up, "we were just going to contact you, one of the Rex eggs looks about ready to hatch, come on there Henry let's make sure the monitors still stay stable and all".
As they made their way over, Peter hardly knew what to think. He'd glimpsed a few of the predators but mainly down here he'd been watching herbivores hatch, the predators were still a new thing and so this larger, moving egg was still quite an experience.
"Pete" he heard his uncle say, "the light". Peter adjusted the light to not be to overbearing to the poor thing as a nose started pushing it's way from the egg...

Having no idea what was going on Chomper, Diver, and Mim sat down to rest, not knowing when they'd get the chance to rest next.

Longtail finally turned to face Kit and Ducky. He sighed as he retold what he could remember.
"I was trying to run and get away from the sky fire, and fire water from the smoking mountain, when I felt this sharp pain in my back...and then I don't remember much...but I do know I woke up once before, and I think I was being carried by something, I'm not sure what...but I know I tried to fight back...and in the moment I felt something like this wall here...its...strange." Longtail then sighed again as he looked at the ground.

Dr. Hammond rushed over to the now hatching egg and smiled. He stepped over the egg and pulled several small pieces away from the hating baby rex. "Come on little one...come on...you can do it." he cooed as the baby rex pushed its way out.
"Are we getting this on camera Pete?" asked Hammond as he continued to watch.

Frank walked into the lounge and sat down at the bar. "What do you want,' the bar tender asked. 'Lager.' frank replied. Frank looked to his left and saw Robert Muldoon. 'When did he arrive,' frank asked the bar tender. "He arrives a few hours ago,' the bar tender replied.

Cory had paused as well with the others, and waited, thinking Kit and Ducky would lead Longtail back over soon...but they stayed their talking. Cory sighed, "I'll go get them back on track" he said, beginning to walk over.
Littlefoot stepped in front to stop him though, "Cory...if Longtail wants us to know too he or the others will tell us".
Cory sighed, "Well Cera would never stand for that, and until she's here to say so, I'm saying so for her". Cory rushed over as Littlefoot sighed. He then turned to Mim, Diver and Chomper, "I guess we should try not to lose them", he walked over but not as quicky or close as Cory just yet incase they were just going to head back the other way again.
"S--something?" Kit asked, she didn't like the way Longtail had said that word. "what kind of dinosaur did it look like?".
Ducky looked at the wall. "What's going on?" Cory asked walking up. "Longtail remembers some strange other kind of dinosaur and this wall" Ducky answered.
"Oh, well then maybe we should go over and see what it's all about" Cory said in a tone as if he were suggesting a very normal plan.

"Camera, oh right" Peter said, quickly fumbling the camera up, but luckily in time as the little Rex pushed it's way all the way out or partly so. "Wow..." Peter sighed, "for a deadly predator...he's cute, makes me want to name him Biter or something".
Henry gave his nephew a weird look, "Well considering it's a she...".
"Oh right" Peter said, "then I'll just think on the name".

Longtail closed his eyes and tried to remember. Flashes of what happened moved through his mind.
"They...were two footers, but...they were...strong...really strong. But I can...tell you this, they were shorter than a full grown longneck." said Longtail as he opened his eyes. He then reached out as if to touch the wall again, but instead clawed at it using all his strength.
All that he got however was a loud screeching sound that hurt his ears, and only three small white markings. Longtail nodded his head as if accepting something. "Yeah...same stuff, tough and hard to scratch." whispered Longtail to himself.

Hammond smiled. "She is cute isn't she. Well all names aside, we do need to get her into a proper heating chamber so she stays warm. Henry could you help me with this?" he asked as he lifted the rest of the egg away from the baby rex.

Frank walked over to Muldoon. "Mr Muldoon,' Frank asked. "Yes what is it,' Muldoon replied before noticing franks tail. 'So you're frank anderson,' muldoon said before taking a drink of his coffee. "Yes that's correct,' frank replied. "Well I just want you to know that you have my respect,' muldoon said. "Thank you,' frank replied before asking "Do you mind if i sit here with you'. "No I don't mind,' muldoon replied.

Mim nodded, "Yes we should all stay together and not wonder off in different directions. WE're still not sure where we are or if any dangers are nearby like unfriendly sharpteeth." Mim said.
"Yea, let's go." Chomper said, and the 3 of them walked over to where the others or longtail or wherever the majority are.

Kit winced as Longtail clawed at the wall, having not expected it. "Longtail...yikes, warn us before you do that".
"Same stuff as what, Longtail?" Ducky asked as Cory and the others approached. "What's going on?" Cory asked. "Longtail might remember more of where we are, he might" Ducky said.

"Right away sir" Henry said, helping Hammond to clear the shell away and then relatively clean the baby Rex.
"Peter just get that incubator there ready" he said. Peter turned from watching the Rex a bit, "Oh right" he moved over and made sure the appropriate switches were switched on to adequately keep the little one warm.
"That's right, good job my boy" Henry praised his nephew. Peter was on his way to being a really fine scientist around here, Henry thought. The boy smiled at the praise.
"Alright, well also names aside" one of Henry's co-workers with another clipboard said, "I'll go input Biter or whatever her name is's number into the computer..." he walked away to do just that.
"Wow, that must be a big database" Peter observed. Henry smiled as he helped Hammond move the Rex, "Pretty big by now, yes".

Diver looked a bit fearfully at Longtail and said, "Are you sure he's not having some sort of a fit?" She asked with concern in her voice and backing away from Longtail and closer to Mim.

"So what are you doing here mr. muldoon,' frank asked. "Well I'm here to teach you security guys on how to take down big game with tranquilizer guns,' muldoon replied. "So where is mr hammond I would like to meet him,' muldoon said.

"Oh no, Longtail would not have a fit, he would't" Ducky tried to reassure. "Well...he might..." Cory admitted, "but Ducky's right, I don't think he is".
Now that Longtail had brought it to their attention, Kit noticed the scratch he mentioned, like a sharptooth bite. "D-did as sharptooth get you before all the smoking mountains exploded?" she asked. This was getting more confusing the more she thought about it, if they were near the Great Valley why didn't everything look burned or dried up like it should have?

"Hammond?" a passing approved emplyee of the bar commented with a chuckle, "guy all but lives in the Incubator room now that the Park's looking more and more like it might be up and running" he commented half to Muldoon and half to himself

Longtail looked up at the wall with a curious eye. When Kit asked her question Longtail seemed to snap out of his trance and looked around now noticing everyone was here and looking at either him, or the wall. He sighed.
"No, Kit it wasn't a sharptooth. But I'm going to try and see if I can fly over this wall...everyone stay here!"
Longtail then flapped his wings and took to the sky. After a few moments he noticed somethng strange. Running along the top of the wall were three..and only three black vines. Ever the curious one, Longtail reached forward with his beak and bit down on the strange vines...and received a massive jolt of what felt like sky fire running through his body, and then was thrown against a nearby tree.
Longtail slid down the tree and landed at its base. He sat there for some time, and finally gave a short but crazy sounding laugh as he said, "I wanna do that again!"

Hammond smiled at the praise Henry was giving Pete. It was a nice thing for the young intern to feel as useful and welcome as the rest of the crew working here. John finished placing the baby rex into the incubator, but then several loud alarms went off.
"What just happened?!" he cried not having a single clue as to what was going on.

Near the wall
A loud siren could be heard in the distance along with a yellow flashnig light.

Diver looked not sure and Looked at Ducky, "Are you sure?"
Mim shrugged, "Maybe he's looking for something instead or testing something." She said looking at and attempting to form a hypothesis of his strange behavior.

Frank ran to the Incubator room closely followed by muldoon.

Seeing the huge spark of what looked like sky fire, only from the vine, most everyone seemed to rush as one over to where Longtail had landed, and he didn't look good.
"Longtail!" Littlefoot rushed up to try and see if the flyer was conscious, "Longtail, can you hear me?! Are you alright".
"Oh..." Ducky frowned, fearing the worst.

Henry frowned, not having a clue either. Peter looked worried and watched as his uncle rushed over and looked at some of the computer terminals, even from here, not near the main computer room, the layout showed a picture that didn't make sense in Henry's mind straight off.
"Sir...it's the pens, some...holy!...Mr. Hammond, some of the pens that hold the carnivores have lost power!" Henry spun around, "I can't tell which, we should probably get to the main room for that and I can only pray Mr. Nedry's there trying to fix this!".

Meanwhile, near one of the pens holding some of the grown Rex's a large green carnivore that had ever been known as Sharptooth, the one responsible for young Littlefoot's mother's death and whom Hammond's team and undone Littlefoot and some of his other friends job of killing, tested and snapped some of the ropes holding him in that infernal confusing space where only small furry creatures were flung at him every now and then.
Now though, as he stepped out and sniffed around, he smelle fresh meat...a very comforting concept to the penned carnivore. Most of it was other sharpteeth, not that he had a problem with that, but there was also the far of smell of flatteeth, as well as a nearby scent of egg snatcher.
Sharptooth ignored this, though, and moved off towards where more of the scent seemed congregated.
After he moved off, a young dinosaur peered out from beyond one of the pens outer boundaries where she'd hidden after sneaking in to explore this place.
The egg snatcher, Misty, didn't really know this Sharptooth, but she'd heard of him...and none of the stories whispered by flatteeth parents sounded good...they even sounded worse than Redclaw...if such was possible.
She quickly and stealthily rushed along to dart to the gate and begin to dig her way out past the first hole she found that was convenient.
"Hurry!...you guys gotta scatter...Sharptooth!" she called, continuing to dig and hoping one of what looked to be another group of kids would hear her.
As if focused on the hunt, or perhaps hearing a panicked screech that might undo what he intended, a roar echoed out across the air...

Frank and Muldoon arrived at the incubator room and after hearing what ha dhappend said "We still have some people in that area Shall I go out there with Mr Muldoon here and get them since they don't have raidos and they're in an area that not within walking distance to the gate,' frank asked hammond

Longtail blinked several times and as he tried to breath he let out a puff of smoke. He looked around for a minute before his gaze rested on Littlefoot. He then stuttered.
"I-Imma okay...c-can I...do that again...i-it was...fun!"

Hammond turned around and slammed his cane down on the ground as he turned and screamed.
"GET THOSE FENCES BACK ONLINE NOW!!! We can't afford to lose any of the specimens in those cages! Especially not the revived Tyrannosaurs Rex...it could kill everything on this island if it got the chance!" John then walked over to a terminal and fell into a chair as he said in a shocked and loud voice...
"Frank, Muldoon, both of you need to get down there NOW!!! We have no time...I'll be sending a back up team to protect you two, but go now and get a head start, I don't want any deaths on my hands!"

"What?" Diver said, not sure she had heard right. Chomper and Mim looked over to where the voice had come from.

Frank nodded before he and muldoon ran for the garage. frank pulled out his modified whitley pistol modified to fire tranquilizer darts and loaded a round. "The garage will be on the next left,' frank told muldoon. "We must hurry,' muldoon replied.

"Sharp..." Misty tried to get out once more, but couldn't really speak until she'd fully dug herself past the fence. She sighed and jogged up, "A sharptooth" the young egg snatcher told them. "Headed this way!".
"From where?" Kit asked, spinning about to look in Misty's direction now. Just then the sound of something trying to but it's way past the gate sounded.
Littlefoot's eyes went wide, "Sorry Longtail, no time to do that again, we gotta move!" he nudged the other flyer up to either fly or ride as he needed.
"Oooh" Petrie groaned in fear, flapping up, "Me know this not Great Valley!" he started flapping off in the general direction everyone seemed to pick to head.

Henry tapped through to the computer room, "Dennis...Dennis Nedry, tell me you're in that computer room right now, it's urgent!" Henry called, and silence issued forth.
"Figures..." Henry rushed over to grab a few of the vials and such from a table, "Ok, Pete, we're gonna have to get creative on top of the acutal fire arms right here for me to use...". A crude needle firer was quickly fashioned though, two actually.
This and a small gun he armed his nephew with.
"You stay here with Hammond, anything looking like a deadly dinosaur comes through that door, tranquilize it, it won't hurt the specimen", he wasn't sure if it was for Hammond's sake he added this, "If that doesn't work, go with plan B" he indicated the gun, "Good thing you have something of weapons training, While they're getting the warning out, I'm gonna go down to that computer room and see what can't be done, hopefully find Nedry on the way, plus get the word out for that back-up team, here's a walkie" he flung a walkie-talkie to his nephew who still in a stunned state, nonetheless caught it.
"I'll be right back" Henry promised the both of them before tearing on down thankfully the same building (?) to see what was going on at the computer room.

Meanwhile, Dennis Nedry, not at the computer room, was crouched down trying to coach one of the easier looking specimens to move, a baby stegosaurus, out from under a bush. Luckily the little one wasn't alone and defenseless.
"Hey you, leave him alone!" Cera cried, rushing forward. Nedry heard the small triceratops bellow moments before being butted head first into the dirt. He sat up and spit, "Stupid little..." he glared at the baby triceratops, "if they want to do horrible experiments you're gonna be the first!" he told the dinosaur who of course, on her end, just heard strange gruntings.

frank and muldoon ran into the garage where frank grabbed the keys to a hummer. "Let's get going,' frank said as he put the pedal to the metal.

"Sounds like we should get out of here." Mim said looking at the others. "Anyone know the area around here well?" She asked.

"Well me sure Littlefoot...". Petrie began, before Cory, almost before thinking, interrupted, "I do". He hadn't really thought before speaking and now that he did think he may have been here a bit longer than the others but only by a few bright circles and even his exploring hadn't gone far...but still, everyone was looking at him now and he somehow felt he should know the way around here just off that.
He glanced around, some stuff did look familiar...and he had been here the longest he was guessing. Looked like it was up to him.
"Uh, yeah, there's um...stuff this way" Cory said, "come on". Petrie, Ducky and Kit glanced to Littlefoot and the longneck smiled, shrugging, "Well if Cory knows his way around here" he began to follow, which spurred the other three as well.
"What is this way, Cory?" Ducky asked. The crested swimmer turned to her, "Huh? Oh...uh, yeah" he struggled to remember, "I recall seeing another big cold wall of some sort, atleast it's away from that wall".
Misty debated what to do, the other kids might need help but then, she should get away too. She wandered off in another direction yet determined to keep her eye on them if she bumped into these flatteeth again.

As muldoon and frank raced in the hummer toward the gate muldoon asked "Aren't we going to fast'. "Not at all,' frank replied. "What about the gate,' muldoon asked. We ain't taking the gate frank said taking the jump. As muldoon held on the the seat for dear life frank rolled down the window and yelled out 'Yeeeeeeeeha!' the hummer landed by dennis and slid fo 25 feet after frank slammed on the brake.

Longtail at that moment tried to stand, but he couldn't feel his legs...come to think of it, he couldn't feel his body at all! He then slumped to the ground again and groaned as he asked with a embarrassed grin:
"U-uhhh...littlefoot? C-can I r-ride on your b-back? I...I can't stand up...or f-feel my body at all."

Hammond moved to another computer and pushed several buttons. "This...is not supposed to be here." He then looked up at Pete and Henry as he said, "both of you come here and look at this...there are hatchling dinosaurs in the main park area. But...that shouldn't be. Where did they come from?"

Chomper hurried over to Longtail. "Are you ok, what's wrong?" He asked.
Mim came over to look him over, "I think He'll be ok, just needs to rest I think." She looked at Littlefoot, "He wants to ride on your back, do you mind?" She asked as she tried to pick up Longtail.
"I want to help to." Chomper said eager to help.
Mim nodded and smiled, "Ok, you can help me to pick him up. We can't leave him to lay on the ground." She said.
"Gee, thanks." Chomper said as he tried to help Mim to pick up Longtail.
Diver stood where she was, not wanting to get into anyone's way, "I hope he'll be ok, I certainly do." She said with her hands clasp together and worry on her face.

Frank drove up a little closer to dennis before stopping the hummer and putting it in park leaving the engine running.

Littlefoot turned to Longtail with a smile, "Sure, hop on" he helped the flyer up and then continued following Cory. The swimmer just kept that other big wall in his sights. "So...uh, Littlefoot" he asked, "I know first thing is to just avoid whatever's trying to break free from that other wall, but do you think we should head towards that next one" he pointed, "or, head for some bushes or something".
"Me thought you in charge 'cause you been here longer?" Petrie asked.
"Hey, I can ask for suggestions can't I?" Cory asked.

Dennis started back at the appearance of the jeep next. He frowned, standing, "Well that's just nice, scare a fellow half to death when he's just...checking up on some of the specimans" Dennis covered for his actions.
"What's the big idea?" he asked. He hoped he could get them out of here soon so he could get on with trying to nab and run off with that baby stegosaurus at least.

Returning into the room, Henry came back over at Hammond's call and looked. "Hmm, yeah, we're not suppose to have anything like that out there, I should know I've been monitoring the hatchings in here. We've got maybe adolescent Raptor in the pen but other than that it should be adults and the babies in here" he indicated the incubators.
Peter frowned, "A-are you saying someone's...made unauthorized dinosaurs?" he asked. Henry shook his head, "I can't see how, but then I can't think up what would explain that either" he pointed to the screen.

"You're suppose to be in the control room getting the some of the predator fences back online,' frank said.
-
"What are you talking about?" Dennis asked, "everything's fine". He then allowed himself to hear the warning sirens still going off. "Oh..."he said. He glanced back towards the baby stegosaurus, "Well...". How was he going to get it out if he had to fix fences.
He would have control over parts of Jurassic Park...Dennis realized, maybe he could work something out in his favor from that.
"Alright fine, take me back" Dennis hopped into the jeep.

Mim looked at Longtail, attempting to arrange him on Littlefoot's back if it looked like there was a better position for him to hold on. "how are you feeling Longtail, can you hold onto Littlefoot well?" She asked not wanting him to fall of if Littlefoot walked or had to run.

"Get in the hummer now we have two other people we need to get back to the compound,' frank said before hearing the click of a camera comming from one of the bushes. Frank walked over to the bushes and yelled we got a t rex on the loose and we've gotta take you both back the the compound'. almost immedetly two scientists came running from the bushes and to the hummer. "Well are we going,' one of them asked after he got into the car. Before frank could answer the heard the roar of the t-rex which sounded close by.

Longtail hung onto Littlefoots back as best he could. His body was still in shock from being shocked and it was hard doing anything that required physical effort, but he sighed at Mim's question and said, "Y-yeah....I've got a g-good...grip...I think..."

Hammond turned to Henry and asked, "well what do we do? If those are indeed hatchling dinosaurs our there, they need to be brought back as soon as possible! I don't want to imagine what would happen to them if that predator got to them first!" He then turned and grabbed a radio.
"Frank, can you hear me Frank? I need you to go check something out a mile from your current position...can you handle that?"

"Here" Kit offered, hoping up on Littlefoot's back herself, "I'll sit back here so if you fall I can catch you and maybe help out".
"Are you kidding?" Cory said, "you'd tumble off with him, here atleast have one other person...". Cory climbed up too.
"Uh guys...maybe we should just..." Littlefoot began, then the roar and huge slam of Sharptooth breaking from the gate preceded his escape.
"Oh no! Not him, he s'pose to be dead!" Petrie said, boht panicking and shooting over to grip Littlefoot's neck while he also threw out his pondering on the issue of this sharptooth being back.
"Run!" Littlefoot tore across the open landscape.

From where she'd been smuggly marching back over to brag to Spike all about how she saved him from the weird two legger, Cera heard Littlefoot's cry. "Hey!" she cried, "you guys didn't tell me you were here too! Wait up!". She charged after the group, "Come on Spike...".
The spiketail lumbered after.
After breaking free, the large sharptooth shook his head which he'd rammed the door with and took stock of all these smells and prey about. There was a huge, odd, yet food smelling four legger of some sort off to one side with strange two leggers about it, and off on the other side...
Not only were they hatchlings, but Sharptooth recognized at least a few of them as the nasty buggers that had had the audacity to drop a rock on his head! He didn't recall what happened after that, but he was determined to even the score now!
With a roar, he charged after the hatchlings. Cera noticed this right as she reached the other side of the clearing directly in the path of the charging sharptooth now as well.
Her eyes went wide, "Woah!". She rushed over towards the others, "figures!" she said as she ran along, "I find you guys again right as some huge sharptooth's trying to eat me!".
"You say that like it's our fault!" Cory shot back at her.
"Uh guys, now might not be the time to discuss this" Kit said, chancing a glance back at the sharptooth.

"Copy that,' frank said before getting back in the jeep. "We're goonna get back to the base later we have something hammond wants us to check out,' frank said before speeding off.
-
Mim grabbed Chomper and Diver, "Yes, everybody run, but stay together." She said as she started to run off, at a speed so she'd stay with the children while holding Chomper and Diver.

Frank check the GPS to get a fix on their location. "They should be northwest on bearing 250,' frank said.
-
As frank drove toward the search area he slammed on the brakes causing everyone to fly foward. Frank looked out the window and saw several tracks then drove along the tracks at top speed.

Longtail turned around and screamed as best he could after seeing the sharptooth chasing them. He then turned to face the others and asked, "U-uhhh...isn't that...the sharptooth you guys....uhh...killed?! Why is he HERE?!"

Hammond zoomed in on the camera system and tried not to scream as he saw the hatchling dinosaurs being chased by the much bigger and faster T-rex. He took a step back and said, "There has to be something we can do!"

"There is if we can distract it long enough those kids might have a chance at getting away,' frank said.
-
"I--I don't know!" Cera cried, "I was sure he should have stayed dead the last time, he was drowned at the bottom of the big water! I don't know how to beat this guy if he came back after that!".
"He does seem quite hard to get ride of, Yep yep yep" Ducky said, still worried but also noticing this odd fact.
"Quick, there's a hole, over there!" Cory spotted a small chipped away section of what appeared to be a rock wall but was in fact the Raptor pen. He wasted no time in diving through though, "Um, I don't know if Spike and Mim can make it..." Cory began, sizing up the hole and those left to fit through...but he didn't get far before a screech interrupted him.
The young swimmer turned slowly, "Uh guys...what was that...".

"H-hold up!" Dennis yelled, "We're not driving near the Raptor pen, are we?" he asked, seeing where the hatchling's headed, this was not worth event he amount that rival team was offering him for a specimen!

Peter's eyes went wide at this new development. Yet...maybe...
"Mr. Hammond, is the Raptor pen still online?" the teen asked, "Maybe that's a good thing and the top wires could use a current to shock the Rex back...or something...then deal with getting them out of the Raptor pen?".
Peter's mind scrambled for if there was a better plan, but this had been the first thing to hit him as a possibility.

"Maybe using the jeep as a distraction the Rex may think its food and then we can tranquilize it,' frank said.
-
Hammond smiled at Pete's intuition. "Yes...by God YES! IT IS! Those fences are on a seperate grid, and should still be functional, and if we boost the power we should be able to turn the rex away!" He looked at Pete for a moment and gave a wide smile as he then said, "Just for that, I'll make sure you pass this internship!"

Longtail was still having trouble with his speech after his shock, but he raised his head and spoke.
"That...w-would...be..a-a f-fast biter..or three of them...a-actually."

"So hammond do you want us to race to the raptor pen and tranquilize them before the rex and the hatchlings get there,' frank asked.

Frank continued driving toward the raptor pens at a high rate of speed.
-
Hammond held up the radio.
"Yes Frank, that is a good plan! Stick with it and let me know when you've got the baby dinosaurs safe and secured." He turned back to the camera monitor and checked several times as he said to Henry and Pete.
"I know I sent another security team to help Frank, but I can't seem to find them, and they aren't calling in on the radios...I think we may have a problem on our hands."

"10-4 over and out,' frank said before taking another jump. "So where is the raptor pen,' muldoon asked. "It's just on the other side of these trees,' frank replied.

"Maybe one of the folks who can fly can have a quick look around to see if there is a good place for us to head towards." Mim suggested.
-
Frank slammed on the brakes stopping just in front of the raptor pen. "Dennis you and the scientists get in the tower muldoon and I will handle this,' frank said taking out two tranquilizer guns out of the trunk. "You ready,' frank asked. "Yep,' muldoon replied as they both entered the pen.

Pete couldn't help the small smile at the praise his idea got from Hammond. "Uh, that'd be great sir, thanks" he said before turning his attention back to the monitor, "Ok, so how do we shock him right at the right moment?" he asked, looking at the switches and wondering if they could control them from here.

"O-one of us who can fly..." Petrie frowned nervously. Kit nodded though, "Y-yeah, that does sound like a good plan, and fast biters can't fly, so it's not more dangerous" she said. She took to the sky to see she could see anything just as a hiss and growl was heard and three snouts did peek out of the bushes.
One female, the leader of the fast biters apparently, was up front and her hissing breath continued as she sized up what was before them. She smiled, hatchlings and a weak enough looking adult guardian...
Then she spotted the little biter, Chomper, and frowned. "Step aside kid, we wouldn't want to anger your parents while we grab a snack" she said in sharptooth.

"F-fine by me" Dennis said, "come on" he lead the scientist away, trying to avoid the huge Rex still ramming about the wall trying to determine where his meal and previous ankle bitting killers had gone and why he couldn't get to them.
From the sounds of it, it sounded like a group of Fast biters were trying to beat him to the punch and that just raised his anger enough to make him roar loudly, he rammed his head towards the top of the wall once more.

Frank saw the raptor and used hand signals to tell muldoon. Frank lined the raptor up in his sights and fired the gun hitting the raptor in the leg with the dart.
-
With a screech and jerk, the head raptor stepped back after being hit. The other two lunged Frank and Muldoon, forgetting the kids for the moment.
The leader continued to hobble about before slowly slumping to the ground and falling over, tranquilized.
-
Muldoon fired taking the second one down but frank was unable to reload before the third jumped on top of him.
-
Muldoon re-loaded and fired hitting the raptor in the side.
-
With wide eyes, Cory backed up closer to the group as he watched these two new, odd two leggers take on and actually take down the fast biters it seemed.
The third and last fast biter to be hit stumbled back and hobbled around, yet as she began to go down, she shook her head and reached down to where she'd felt the stab, there was a small tooth of some sort it seemed, imbedded in her skin.
She grabbed and plucked this out, next, raising her head that she had to keep shaking to try and clear her vision to face the odd two leggers once more. She gave a roar and charged yet the low dose from the pulled dart still did it's job and after stumbling to the ground, she also succumb to the tranquilization.
"Come on!" Cory said, "we're getting out of here before those things go after us!" he began to turn towards the hole they'd come through.
"But the sharptooth is still out there, he is!" Ducky said.
Meanwhile, outside, Sharptooth continued to ram about the gate and fence.

Inside the Incubator room, Peter scanned along on a computer the at least visual lay-out of where the fences were controlled.
"Ok, I found the Raptor pen" he said, "I don't know if I can do anything to it from here". Over his shoulder, Henry looked, "If we over-ride we can...", he got on the radio again, "Dennis, you got one of these with you".
"Huh? Yeah" Dennis answered from the tower where he was watching to see if he was gonna lose any of the specimens for transfer later.
"What's the code to override the computer from here?" Henry asked. Dennis figured there was no harm so he gave it and Henry dictated it to Peter who put it in.
"Ok...now wait for it..." Henry said. Peter kept his eyes on the screen and when the Rex went to ram again he activated that pen with a surge of electricity.

With a roar, Sharptooth reeled back, unable to even comprehend that shock that had gone through him.

Mim looked at the others, "Yes, this is a good time to leave immediatly. Any idea which direction is best for us to go in? Best to not just rush off in any direction without information if we can get any." Mim said.

"Uh...I was just gonna dart of in any direction the huge sharptooth wasn't" Cory answered honestly once they were out of the Raptor pen atleast.
"But Mim is right, we should know where we are going, we should" Ducky added as they edged their way to avoid Sharptooth until he recovered.
"Well we might be able to hide around the other side at least" Littlefoot said, leading at least the kids of the group once more as he rushed along the wall towards the corner to then dart around and maybe get past before Sharptooth knew exactly where they'd gone.
"Um, where would you suggest we go?" he asked, turning to Mim even as they made their way.

Longtail began to sniff the air, and he blinked as he said, "I-I smell..someone...s-someone..I recognize. And I t-think I can stand...up again!" However as he did, his head hit the wall as Littlefoot ran under it, and flipped the flyer off Littlefoot's back and onto the floor.

Hammond had seen what Peter and Henry had done while cooperating with Dennis and he smiled faintly as he saw the wires come online and shock the giant carnivore. "Good shot boys!" He then got on the radio.
"Frank are the baby dinos clear of the Rex, and the Raptor pen? If they are, see if you can round them up, safely of course."

"Maybe back the way we came, with flyers or Chomper here to guide us or both." Mim suggested.
"I have a good sniffer. I can sniff out some dangers I bet." Chomper said willing and eager to help.

"Oh yes, Chomper's sniffer is very good, it is" Ducky said. Petrie meanwhile noticed something, "Hey, Littlefoot, you loose passenger?" he asked as he at first just noticed they seemed to be short one before who quickly hit his mind.
"Longtail!" Kit was the one to cry this though. She darted quickly back over to the hole in the pen and tugged on Longtail who was still on the ground, "Come on, we gotta get out..." she said, "He's not gonna stay shocked for long".
Sharptooth shook his head once more, the effects of the shock beginning to wear off and his vision coming back.

Frank and muldoon ran to the enterance. "When are we gonna find these kids,' muldoon asked. 'I don't know,' frank said before saying on his raido to hammond "I don't know I think they're still in the raptor pen'.

Mim put Chomper down next to Littlefoot while she put Diver on Littlefoot's back and hurried over to where Longtail was. "I can carry him, but we must leave quickly." She said.

Longtail's eyes shot open and he suddenly remembered the danger they were in.
"No...I can fly again...let's go!" He then proceeded to flap his wings and lifted himself into the air and over the fence to the raptor pen.

Hammond frowned as he watched the screen, then he saw just what he needed to! The camera footage showed the hatchling dinos running through a gap and out of the Raptor pen and right past the T-rex.
"Okay Frank, they are clear, go round them up!" he said calmly but with potential excitement.

Kit smiled as Longtail flew off on his own and followed suit. "Yeah, this is easier than flying through the hole" she said.
"Come on guys, this way" Littlefoot called once they reached him and careful to keep Diver stead where she was, rushed off.

From where he watched, and with the Rex still making an exit impossible, Dennis nonetheless kept the hatchlings in his sights and Muldoon and Frank's progress on grabbing them, he would need to know where they were kept in order to ship them off to...
then why was he waiting here.
"I'll help guys" he began to climb down. "Are you insane?!" the scientist with him asked, "I've got a gun" Dennis replied, "and those hatchlings are very important".
"Well yeah I know their origin's a bit unknown given we don't know where they came from, but...". The scientist was hardly heard by Dennis as he continued to climb down.

"Let's go." Mim said, making sure the others went first before she did.
Chomper ran off with Liittlefoot while Diver hung onto Littlefoot.

"Negeative you're staying here dennis,' frank said.

"but, I was just gonna..." Dennis sighed, relenting for now so it wouldn't seem suspicious. He could always just keep track of where the hatchlings ended up to later snag them up.

Mim looked at the others, "Is everyone ok, anyone need any help?" She asked, making sure everyone is ok as they quickly leave the area to some place safer, she looked up briefly at any flyer nearby, "Do you see the safest direction to go once we're out of here?" She asked.

"Muldoon Can I trust you to distract the rex while I see if the hatchlings are alright,' frank asked. "Yeah but how do I,' muldoon asked. "There's a cd in the glove box pop it in the cd player and blast the music up then lay the heavy book under the front seat on the gas and bail,' frank said. "Got it,' muldoon saiud.

Petrie glanced back but saw that Kit seemed to be doing ok with getting Longtail out, so he looked forward and answered Mim. "Um...me not see any sharpteeth that way" he pointed to the more open area they were nearing.
"but there probably aren't many places to hide there" Cory pointed out with a small frown.

As frank ran off to make sure the hatchlings were alright muldoon opened the glove box and popped in the cd after setting the volume to the max. As Ride Of The Valkryies started playing muldoon set the book on the gas pedal and the jeep drove right past the rex.

"Any better place?" Mim asked.

Frank walked around looking for the hatchlings with the tranquilizer gun slung over his shoulder.

Petrie frowned and looked forward once more, scouting yet again. "Um, me also see trees that that" he pointed.
"I think that might be best" Kit added in her comment as she trailed along with Longtail, still making sure he could keep up after as many hits and shocks as he'd endured in one day

Longtail continued to fly and look for a safe place for them to hide as well and then he noticed something... "Hey...what or who is that?!" He asked as he pointed towards one of the two legged creatures walking around as if it were looking for something. (Just so no ones confused Longtail's pointing to Frank)

"I don't know" Kit turned, "I think it's that...thing that got ride of the fast biters"
"G-good thing or bad thing?" Petrie asked.
"I say we don't wait to find out and hide now!" Cory suggested, "Petrie where was that tree cover you mentioned?" he glanced about to find where they'd been going earlier.

"Yes, trees can provide places to hide, as well as some food." Mim said.
Chomper started moving in the direction of the trees, "yea, better if we can find some stinky flowers then they will not be able to smell us." He said.
Mim looked in the direction of where Longtail was pointing, "I don't know, best to avoid kinds we've not seen before, they may prove dangerous." Mim said.
"Yes, let us go there quickly, it is certainly not safe here." Diver said.

Frank watched the kids from the bushes. "I have the hatchlings in sight they seem to be ok Mr Hammond but there is one the has his feathers all stiking up I think he might have touched the fence,' frank said silently into the raido.

With out much further coaxing needed, Petrie flapped over towards the cover with the others following.
"Ya know, I could try to ram him, just scare him off..." Cera offered, turning a bit to look at Frank once more. "No Cera" Littlefoot said as they ran, "it's best we all just stay together and get to the trees".
"Yeah, you don't get treesweet points for ramming the bad guys when they capture ya" Cory pointed out.

Peter frowned at what he heard, "Oh, gee, does he seem ok though?" he halfway just asked himself out loud. He looked at the screen to try and determine.

"Yes we should stay together, we should be safer once we're in the trees." Mim said, thinking she hoped so.
"Yes, it is better to stick together then run around at random, it certainly is." Diver said.

Longtail sighed and said, "Yeah..staying together sounds like a good idea...I'll stay with you guys."

Hammond stared on with Pete, and was alarmed when he heard one of the hatchlings had apparently touched the electrical wiring. "Just tail them Frank, we don't want them startled, however if you can separate the one that's been shocked from the others then give him a quick check up, just to be sure it's safe, and well."

As Sharptooth recovered, he shook his head and was about to continue on after the kids when a group of about two swimmers caught his attention off in another direction on the plain...it was more meat for the hassle, maybe even for less of a hassle!
He turned and headed off after them.

"Yes we do not want to separate like that time when we first met Littlefoot and Petrie and Spike and me went with Cera, we do not, it was not good" Ducky said. The threehorn shot her a look. "Um...but then...it was a very good try Cera" Ducky smiled, hoping to appease her friend. Cera just rolled her eyes and continued along with the others into the cover.
Kit sighed as she landed, "Whew...hopefully we can rest here a bit and rest up before anything chases us" she said.

"I'll try to do that,' frank said. He paused for a bit before noticing chomper "Maybe I could explain to that kid what is going on,' frank said to himself.

"At least we're away from that danger and can maybe start figuring out where we are and where a safe place to head to is." Chomper is.
"One can hope, certainly one can." Diver said nodding her head.
"At least there'll be some cover and food in among the trees." Mim said. "We should be able to rest and gather together what information that we have and formulate a plan." Mim said.

Frank contiuned to follow the kids colsely but silently.

Muldoon walked back to the raptor pen and got into the tower. "Well that T-Rex should be busy for a while,' he said.

Longtail landed next to Kit and smiled as he got to relax. He then realized how thirsty he was. "I could use a drink of water..." he said aloud as he started to use his nose to find a pond, or a stream. It was then that he picked up Franks sent again, but he decided not to draw attention after such a close call with Sharptooth, so he continued looking for water.

"Hmm," Mim says thinking for a moment, "Is anyone else thirsty? Maybe we should all go there and get some water." She looked at Longtail and Chomper, "How about one of you lead us to the water and the other one can help keep watch for any dangerous sharpteeth." Mim suggested.
"I could use a little water, if it is safe for everyone." Diver said.
"I can do either." Chomper said eagerly. He looked at Longtail, "Which do you want to do?" he asked him.

Frank crouched in the bushes and remained absolutly motionless still watching the kids.

Kit had to admit, now that they mentioned it, she was thirsty too, but like Diver she didn't want it to cause trouble or problems for everyone else.
"I think we might be ok going for water, if we make sure to look out for danger" she said added her opinion

Frank watched and thought to himself "I wonder what is going to happen when we meet face to face'.

Longtail's face brightened as he took one last sniff of the air.
"I smell water and it's close. Come on everyone, follow me!" Longtail answered with renewed enthusiasm, as he lead the way to a nearby watering hole.

Hammond was relieved to see that the hatchlings were now safe. But just in case he picked up the radio and contacted Frank.
"Frank, its Hammond. The hatchlings are coming up on a pond of water, nearby there is a secondary entrance to the incubation room here in the facility.....if you can, lead them down here." He paused as he contemplated his next few words.
"And if you have to expose yourself then make sure to gain their trust if you can!"

"Don't worry I can handle it,' frank said before moving on to the pond slowly.

Mim nods, "Maybe safest if we take turns drinking water and standing guard." Mim said.
"I can do that, I'm good at that, with my sniffer." Chomper said, eager and glad to help.
"Yes, I'm sure your sniffer makes you very good at watching." She said.
"I certainly like that idea." Diver said, a bit worried but not to much.
(OOC: I wonder if Chomper would smell them or frank or if the wind is blowing away so he would not.)

Kit also nodded, liking that idea. Most of the ohters seemed to agree too. "Here, I'll take the first drink so I can relieve Chomper after that" Cera said, "after all, Chomper's a good smeller, but if anything needs to be taken care of, I can handle that real well" she said, getting an 'on guard' pose.
She moved over to take a drink real quick first though, so she could then relieve Chomper.

Longtail nodded his head at Mims suggestion.
"Yeah, standing guard would be the safest idea for me and Chomper. I'll be sure to stay in the air to make sure nothing sneaks up on us." said Longtail as he flapped his wings and pushed himself into the air.

Hammond smiled at Franks resolve. He knew he'd made the right choice in selecting the staff for his park.

"Ok let's get this over with,' frank said as he slowly walked out of the bushes and into view of the kids. He cleared his throat before saying to chomper in sharptooth "tell your friends that I will not use this on them,' putting down his tranquilizer gun.

Chomper sniffed the area not sure of the strange scents, but still jumped a bit seeing Frank step out & then speak sharptooth. At first he was startled, not sure what kind this strange creature is. He relayed what the strange creature said.
"What are you, some sort of sharptooth? I won't let you hurt my friends." He said in sharptooth.

"I am not a sharptooth,' frank said. "The proper name for my kind is called human though humans aren't born with tails I only got this in a lab explosion when some raptor DNA got mixed with my own I also found out I could speak it's language after that as well a decade ago,' frank said.

"I guess." He said, not understanding much of the words like lab, dna or those sorts of things. "I guess you don't look or are acting very dangerous." Chomper said still not sure.

"I was also wanting to see if your friend was alright,' frank said.
-
“I hope he can do it” Peter sighed as he watched through the monitor. “If anyone can, it's Frank” Henry assured his nephew.

Dennis paced, pulling out a computer he had with him. “What's that?" the scientist with him asked. “Just something so I can keep track of the hatchlings” Dennis replied quickly, “I have then tagged”. The scientist raised his eyebrow, “You have them tagged?’.
“Uh…yeah, I stumbled upon them and thought it might be the safest” Dennis answered. The scientist didn’t look convinced or unconvinced.

“W-what’s he saying?” Kit asked nervously, Petrie was already hiding behind her. Cera was done drinking and gearing up to head but this guy if needed.

"On whose authority did you put the tags on the hatchlings,' Muldoon asked.

Chomper looked at the others, "He says he's not a sharptooth, & that is kind are called humans. He said they don't normally have tails but an accident gave him that tail, and he wants to make sure that Longtail is ok. I guess from that shock you got." Chomper said.

"That is the main reason why I'm here to see if your friend is alright there is a entrance to the incubation room close by I could take you all there so my friends can help your friend since he just had a some electricty go through his body,' frank said.

"He says there is a place nearby where he can take us to see if Longtail is ok." Chomper said, translating to the others. He looked at the others and especially Littlefoot, "What do you guys think?" He asked.
"It may be better then being out here with sharpteeth nearby." Diver said, not fully sure.
"He doesn't seem to be trying to harm us, directly. Though what if it is a trick." Mim said.

Littlefoot stepped forward, looking at Frank.
"I say we don't trust him" Cera said. "Longtail will need help" Littlefoot realized, he sighed, "Ok, I think we have little option but to trust him for now, and he has not done anything to try and harm us yet".
"Probably just waiting for the right time" Cory added, like Cera not liking this idea. "Oh Cory, that is not nice, it isn't" Ducky told him, "I think the human fast biter is just trying to help, and longtail does need help, he does, he does".
"Well we can't just stand here arguing about it" Kit realized. "Right" Littlefoot scooped Longtail up on his back, "tell him to go ahead and lead the way".

Watching from the camera, Peter shook his head at Frank's ability to talk to at least the small Rex, "I'm getting really nervous about working near chemicals all of a sudden...". Henry patted his shoulder with a smile, "Don't worry, Frank's really rare exception".

Longtail slid onto Littlefoot's back and sighed. Another jolt of electricty ran through his body for a moment and he convulsed in response. "Y-yeah...I could use...t-the help!" He then realized his stutter had returned, and he groaned he felt tired again.

Hammond smiled at Petes comment and laughed.
"Don't worry, the only chemical we use is to geneticlly engineer the dinosaurs to be female...you shouldn't have a any accidents, and even if you do, they should be minor." said Hammond while looking through the camera, and watching Frank speak to the hatchlings.

"This way please,' frank said leading the kids to the entrance.

"Ok." Chomper said, after he had translated what Littlefoot said. Mia picked up Diver and walked along with the group.
"I hope Longtail will be ok, I certainly do." She said a bit concerned.
"I'm sure he will be." Mia said, looking around a bit as the group walked after Frank.

Frank continued leading the kids to the entrance "here it is,' frank said moving some bushes to reval a door which he opened.

Longtail sighed as he could see the door open, but began to wonder where exactly the group was being lead. He hoped this wasn't some kind of trap, but there was no real way to stop it so he just stayed on Littlfoots back, as another jolt passed through him.

Hammond smiled at the camera and watched Frank walk into the hall after opening the door, and he turned to Pete and Henry as he said, "Boys, get ready to make history...you are about to meet several real live dinosaurs." He chuckled then as he added.
"If only we could communicate with them...but Frank is the only one who can do that at the moment."

As frank closed the door after the kids entered he turned on a over head light and lead them to the incubation room.

For very different reasons both Pete and one of the young dinosaurs being lead in, Kit, felt very very nervous as Frank lead the dinosaurs in.
Kit flapped in but immediately landed as near the door as she could, just in case. Henry backed up so as not to frighten the creatures. "those...are no infants" he said. He smiled though.
Peter noticed what Hammond said, and thought of something, but...it was silly. Still...why not try. "Um Mr Hammond" he whispered, "we could try something if you want, you see I do have this remote that I tried to gear up to translate dog speech with for a Science Fair, it didn't work though" he added, "but...well most likely it just doesn't work, but maybe it just doesn't work on...mammal creatures".
Peter's idea sounded crazy to even him, but then who knew. He slowly moved to his backpack and got it, still not sure of this idea. He flipped it on though just as the dinosaurs were fully inside the building.
Cera glanced about, "Littlefoot...this seems to be the strange human things nest but...why do they have lots of different kinds of hatchlings?" she whispered. Cory's eyes went wide, "They're hatchling-nappers!" he cried, turning to dart for the door.
Littlefoot stopped him though, Kit and Petrie both just having to catch Longtail as he tumbled off from the longnecks run, "Cory no...they said they'd help Longtail, and they haven't done anything yet" he pointed out.

"This was the one that touched the fence mr Hammond and shall I tell them the truth that dinosaurs have been dead for a few million years,' frank said turning to Longtail.

Chomper looked around, "Golly gee." He said as he looked around at all the strange things within the cave.
"Most extraordinary, & quite fascinating." Mim said as she looked around as well.
"So this is their sleeping place?" Diver said not sure of things as she looked around as well.

Peter frowned at Frank's question, even if it was put to Mr. Hammond. "I think something like that's bound to freak them out" he said.

"True but they'll probbaly be asking about it soon,' frank said.

Hammond had to marvel at the size and apparent age of the young dinosaurs Frank had brought in with him. However he then tore his gaze away as Peter outlined his idea. 'it dose sound crazy, but here others told me creating this park was crazy too..so why the heck not just give it a try!'
Hammond smiled at Peter and laughed as he said, "Okay, Pete, give it a shot! What have we got to lose?! As it turns out I'm rather eager to see if this works."
Longtail smiled as Kit and Petrie caught him. He could tell the floor was cold, and hitting it after falling off of Littlefoots back was one thing he wanted to avoid. "T-thanks you two..." he said with a weak smile as he looked around wondering if Cory's statement was correct or if there was another reason.

Peter switched the machine on and looked at the group of hatchlings once more, trying to pick out who to "interview" first. "The horn on that little Triceratops doesn't look too sharp..." he shrugged, "and she is closer".
Peter stepped closer. "Um, excuse me hi" he hesitantly said to Cera, "C-can you just...well first off tell me if you're hearing any of this, and then I guess...".
Cera looked stunned as she actually understood the odd two legged 'human' creature. She immediately frowned next though, "Alright buddy, where are we and where did you guys get all those babies if you didn't steal 'em like Cory said!" she demanded.
"C-Cory?" Peter asked, confused. "The swimmer back there" Cera indicated her head. "S-Swimmer?" was Peter's only answer. Taking in the names and terms said by the small thing was all so new.
Cera frowned and turned to the others, "I don't think some of them are so bright" she said. Peter understood enough to frown.
"Well they've obviously got personalities" he told Mr. Hammond as he noticed his Uncle Henry was trying not to laugh.
Petrie and Kit smiled. "Well it woulda hurt if we let you fall" Petrie said. Kit noticed the conversation Cera was having. "Woah...I think more of them can talk" she said. Petrie frowned, unsure of if this was a good thing or not.

"It could be that they have their own language. In a similar manner that flatteeth have their language, sharpteeth do." Mim said.
"They do look like no thing I have seen, certainly not." Diver said.
"Gosh, it is possible." Chomper said.

"Mr Hammond shall we check on that flyer that touched the fence to see if he's alright,' frank asked guessing that the kids called the flying type of dinosaur flyers.

Longtail smirked as he thought about what Kit had just said.
"Cool...what do they want?"
Hammond however answered Longtail's question first as he stepped closer to Petrie and Kit.
"Excuse me little ones, but may I hold your friend for a moment. I promise you he won't be hurt, we just want to make sure he's okay." Hammond mad sure not to make any sudden movements so as not to scare the young dinos.
Longtail looked confused for a moment and then nodded his head and asked, "Hey Kit, Petire...let him try to help. I'd like to stop shaking." he said as another shock passed through him and his body convulsed in response.
Hammond then turned to Frank and said, "Please explain why we have these eggs. And use as much of the truth as you can."

Kit slowly nodded for both her and Petrie, yet Petrie let her allow Hammond to slowly take Longtail.
"Yeah, why do you have all these eggs?" Cory asked.
Peter smiled and stood, getting a pan of water and brining it over to where the dinosaurs were, "Here, I know you guys visited the water out there, but I'm not sure if you got a good drink with worrying about that T-rex out there" he said.
"Who's T-rex?" Littlefoot asked. "Oh..." Peter realized that these dinosuars apprently did use different terms, "um...his type" he pointed to Chomper.
"Oh, a sharptooth" Ducky supplied their name for it. Peter nodded, taking in this news.
By the door, Dennis came back from fixing the fences really quickly and was relieved to find the hatchlings still there.
"Well the fences are fixed" he told Hammond, "only that one loose Rex to deal with I think".

"Gosh, I wonder what is wrong with him." Chomper said.
"I hope he is ok, I certainly do." Diver said holding her hands together.
"Let's see what these creatures do." Mim said a bit warily and watching them closely.

Hammond smiled as he slowly pulled out a syringe from his pocket as he said to Longtail, "Don't worry little one...this will only feel like a bug sting." He then pushed the syringe into his back and emptied the contents.
Longtail gritted his teeth for only a moment before he gave a lazy smile and most of his body went limp. "Ahhhh...." was all he could mutter.
Hammond sighed as he placed Longtail down on the ground in front of Mim and the others.
"He should be alright in a few moments. Just wait."

Chomper shook his head, "I'm not a trex, I"m a sharptooth." He said.
Mim looked at Longtail closely, "Hmm, seems similar to an effect as eating certain parts of certain plants if one has trouble going to sleep and needs to." She said half to herself as she looked Longtail over.
"That thing certainly looked scary." Diver said, meaning the syringe and what she saw.

"W-well as long as he'll be ok" Kit replied to Mim's assessment of the odd care of Longtail. She moved closer, "Longtail, ya alright?" she asked.
"Oh these strange things just seem like they don't know what they're saying half the time" Cera commented to the confusing T-rex and sharptooth issue.
Peter sighed, "We do too, like your species is known as a Triceratops and...". Henry walked up to pat Peter's shoulder, "Pete, let it go, I don't think they're gonna listen anyway" he said. Peter sighed.

After a few moments Longtail blinked and looked around, his vision suddenly becoming clear again. He then stretched his wings and tail as he stood up without any problems and smiled.
"Yeah, I'm fine Kit, why ya asking?"
Hammond tried hard not to laugh as he said, "Told you. Now, who would like to learn more about this room?"

"What sort of cave is this?" Mim asked looking around curiously.

"I do suppose you want to know why we have these eggs,' frank asked cera.

"You, you were, um..." Kit tried to answer Longtail, before giving it up, "nevermind".
"Uh, yeah, that be nice" the threehorn shot back, a bit sarcastically but still meaning what she said oddly enough, she did want to know, she'd just made up her mind it probably wouldn't be good.
"Are you babysitting?" Ducky asked, hoping to maybe have found one possibly answer.

"Not exactly you see well many year ago what beings called dinosaurs died out and until about a decade ago noone tried to bring them back to life that's how I got my tail I was trying to bring a velosouraptor what you would call a fastbitter I beleive when the experiement went horrible wrong, it was about 3 years after that when Mr Hammond came to me seeking some help I agreed and the safety procdures for being in the lab are now far greater than what they were anyway dinosours until a few years ago were not living,' frank said.

"What happened to all of them?"Diver said not happy with such a sad story.
"And what are your plans regarding them and us?" Mim asked not very trusting of what they said and such odd goings on of such unusual creatures.
"Gosh." Chomper said, surprised at what he was told.

Longtail looked around the room, and frowned as he heard the story Frank was telling. He then looked up to Mim and waited to hear Franks reply.
Hammond now knowing that Longtail was going to be fine returned his attention back to the computer screens for a moment and was shocked to see another dinosaur almost identical to Mim walking around outside the entrance near the lake.
"Ummm...Frank did you happen to see any other dinosaurs while you were bringing the young ones inside?" he asked with an air of confusion.
Cyrix stopped near a small pond. He had to admit this place was beautiful, but he was beginning to believe he was the only one here...well aside from the sharptooth he knew was wandering around.
"I do hope there is someone here I can talk to, it is rather lonely around here." he said to himself.

"No I did not see any other dinosaurs,' frank said.

"Why, what's going on" Henry came over to look at the computer screens as well.
Kit, Ducky, Petrie and Spike were all frowning worriedly. "Wait, dinosuars that would be us..." Littlefoot slowly tried to piece together what they'd been told. "A-are you trying to tell me that everyone else we know is...is...".
"...dead?!" Kit finished for him.
"Only those they haven't, somehow, brought back" Cera perceptively caught on. She frowned fiercely.
"Magic..." Ducky, Petrie and Kit wondered worriedly.
Kit heard Mim's question and frowned a bit as she looked thoughtful and answered, "probably had something to do with that big earthshake I remembered..." she pieced together that and then the strange surroundings, but even with the explanation such a thing as coming back from the dead was hard to fathom.
"So what, we're all just a bunch of...what you called experiments?!" Cera asked. "Why I oughta knock you into the next cold time!" she geared up but coudln't tell which of these humans to charge towards first.

"It does all sound rather ... unusual." Mim said, thinking some of what they said over and waiting to see what they would say next.

Longtail stepped in front of Cera and held out his wings, signaling her not to move.
"Wait a moment Cera, even if these...'humans' brought us back...they did help us by bringing us here, and they helped me as well. I say we trust them!"
Hammond looked away once more to face Mim as he stepped closer for a moment and asked a question.
"Excuse me...Uhh...do you happen to have a mate?"

Mim nodded, "I was wondering where he had gotten himself to. Why are you holding him hostage? Tied up somewhere?" Mim asked.
"That would be bad. Maybe he is off visiting some others." Diver said.

Cera frowned even deeper at Longtail's words, yet didn't charge and instead just turned away form the humans, "Well alright, but if they turn on us I get to say I told you so first" she grumbled.
"Y-you probably did mean it to be nice" Kit said, hopping a bit closer. She frowned and looked to the others a bit before turning back to the humans.
"Um...did you bring back any of our parents?" she asked.
Peter looked thoughtful at the young one's question. "Well...we don't have many Pterdactyl...uh I mean flyers, about as of yet, still sort of growing the population from what I heard, but maybe I can look up the pen for you" he went over to another unused computer to scan about for the Pteradactyl pens.
"If they did, I'll help you beat them up" Cory told Mim as she asked about her mate. Littlefoot sighed, "Guys, we're not letting anyone beat up anyone" he told both Cera and Cory specifically.

"Cera violence only brings about more violence as a veteran of 4 human wars I know better than anyone here in this room,' frank said.

"Things have changed a lot I bet." Chomper said, choosing to not talk about fighting even though some others had. He didn't like fighting.

Hammond couldn't help it as he began to laugh at Mim's statement.
"I don't mean to be rude...but no...*chuckle* He's just outside the pond where we brought you all in. I can open the door from here if you'd like." he said with a warm smile.
Cyrix took a drink form the pond and then sat down to admire the scenery. "This place is just like the Great Valley, I do wonder where it came from, and why I never heard about it before?" he said to himself
Hammond turned to Peter and said, "Check camera 12 for the Pterodactyl pens...just to save time."
Longtail still waited for an answer to Kit's question.

Peter nodded and checked over to the Pteradactyl pen. Once he scanned there he saw one lone...flyer, as the kids called her, off in a corner seeming to have built a barrier pen against the other flyers flying about.
Peter was confused but Petrie and Kit both answered. "It's my momma!" Petrie cried, rushing over to hug Kit in happiness. His cousin frowned though, "Why ya got her with sharptoothed flyers?!" she turned to Peter in shock.
The teen looked surprise. "S-sharptoothed...what are you talking about? Are you saying even with Pteradactl's there's a difference".
"Of course there's a difference!" Cory exclaimed. He sighed, "My gosh, if you guys don't even know anything...".
Littlefoot smiled, "Well they are just learning about us I think, maybe we could help teach them".
Peter smiled at the young one's backing up of him, "Ok but first off I think I should get down to that Pteradactyl pen and fix our little mistake. He shook his head, "Boy these dinosaurs are more confusing than I thought".
OOC: Hehe, yes I can back up what I just said :) In III the Pteradactyl's or whatever they are grab Eric (the kid) with a plain intent of dropping him off in the nest for the young before Billy saves him...so, I explained the discrepancy as best I could. Humans just can't tell the difference :DD

Mim nods, "It may be safest if he were in here then out there where it seems more dangerous with the sharpteeth running about. Where there is one there may be others or soon may be."
"That sound certainly better then him roaming around out there." Diver said.
"Not every sharptooth is nice." Chomper said.
Mim looked at the screen where Petrie's mother was, "Maybe best if she is in here also." Mim said.

Hammond now realizing he had to multitask did just that as he pushed several buttons on the computer in front of him. "Okay, Peter I want you to head over to the Pterodactyl pen, and see if you can help Petrie's mother...it seems we've made a rather large mistake." he then turned to Henry and asked, "Would you be kind enough to show Mim's mate the way in...just so we know he's safe?"
Longtail turned to Hammond with a sly grin and said, "I wanna go with Peter. I'm bored and good fight sounds like just what I need."
Cyrix turned as he heard something beginning to move, but was rather surprised when it was the ground without having an earthshake. He stared at the door in amazement. "Oh my..this is interesting, but I must be cautious...this could be a sharptooth trap." he said to himself aloud.

Henry would have had more time to worry about Peter marching off the Pterodactyl pen, which apparently did house dangerous type flyers, if he hadn't next heard Hammon's call to him.
"Right away sir" he said, plus Peter wasn't completely alone as that other capable longtailed flyer said he was going and the other two little hatchling hopped after him as well.
"Oh, I'm taking the communicator" Peter said, showing the item still clipped to his belt, "Uh, unless you need it" he turned to his uncle. "After all, I have these three to talk for me" he indicated Longtail, Kit and Petrie.
"Good point, and it will save time" Henry said as he took the communicator. He looked at it and then shook his head, "and your mom said science 'wasn't your thing'" he comment half to himself as he walked off.
Peter smiled, "Alright, let's go" he said to the other three, who didn't seem to need much encouraging.
Henry meanwhile walked through the door closer to where Cyrix stood. "Um...hi" he said, "Uh, I think alot of everyone else you know, is that way, in the little cave that we would call a room, including someone named Mim, so...yeah, I promise we're not gonna hurt you or nothing, just found out we just met some friends of yours so I came to tell you where they were" Henry explained,
"Ok then" he started walking towards the door, "Shall we?".

"Will we make it to the pen where the others are soon?" Kit asked, worried for her aunts safety. "In this we will" Peter answered as they walked over to a jeep, "Goes faster than one of those sharpteeth you know can run...a very good thing I think" Peter expalined, "Hop in".
He climbed in himself and helped lift the three flyers into the passenger seat. "Ok, just hang on" Peter directed before starting the jeep up and peeling out across the grassy lawn as fast as he could.
Petrie gripped what he could of leather nervously, still trying to understand the concept of this thing that went really fast without it being them running or flying. Kit looked half worried half intrigued.

"I do hope it doesn't take the others long to get back here." Mim said.
"That would certainly be nice." Diver said nodding.
"Maybe it'll be a quick trip there and back for everyone." Chomper said hoping the others would get back quickly also.

Cyrix jumped as he watched Henry come out of the door way, and he was even more startled to see that he understood this creature. He at first took a step back, but then took a step forward again as the creature mentioned Mim.
"How do you know my mate?!" he asked/demanded. However as Henry pointed towards the inside of the new underground cave Cyrix couldn't help but be overcome with a sense of truth, as if Henry really were telling the truth, and with several reluctant steps he began to walk into the cave.
"So..." he began to ask Henry "If this isn't a trick, why am I or my mate here?"

Longtail wasn't expecting the rush of the jeep accelerating and as such he was clinging to the dash board with his claws digging into the leather as he watched the scenery rush past him in a blur.
"Uhhh...do you think you could...oh I don't know....SLOW DOWN!!!" he screamed as Peter continued to drive.

"Well a flyer friend of these kids needed medical attention,' frank said motioning his head at the kids.

Cyrix was stunned, as he asked, "What did this flyer look like...did he have a red crest on his head, and a very long tail?"

"Yeah but he did he's doing ok now,' frank said.

"Oh don't worry, that boy's not loosing Petrie, Kit and Longtail without me saying something about it" Cera promised Diver and Mim as she looked at Cyrix and Henry walked back in.
Henry nodded, backing up what Frank said, "as for how you all are here..." he glanced to Hammond before continuing and not making Frank explain it again.
"We found out how to bring back dinosaurs, since...you all went extinct a while ago".

Hearing the squawk and guessing what Longtail meant, since he didn't have his communcator he lent his uncle, Peter was nonetheless confused. "I thought we wanted to get there fast to help little Petrie there's mother?" Peter said as he swerved to miss a tree.
The little flyers next reactions of flinching and covering their eyes seemed to answer for him. He'd reached the pen by now, though, and stopped next to it. There was a the squawk of what sounded like two of the flyers they had within the pen and as Kit and Petrie fliched, the teen guessed these were 'sharp-toothed flyers'.
He shook his head, "Gosh, apparently while thinking they'd picked up Pterodactyls whatever Uncle Henry and Mr. Hammond and the others got wasn't the same kind at all...wonder what else we don't know".
He climbed out of the jeep and walked around the otherside, pulling out a backpack glider he happend to have thrown there beforehand. Kit tilted her head in interest and Peter just smiled, "you'll understand if I have to use it".
The teen then walked to the door. Kit had flapped over to the door awaiting it's being opened while Petrie was still sitting on the seat looking confused as he listened to the harsh cries of the sharptoothed flyers.
He remembered his mom though and flapped over as well.
"Ok, hopefully we can remain undetected" Peter realized now he had to way to communicate a plan to the young flyers with him, hopefully they could signal their way into something.
Slowly he cracked the door open and slipped inside. Kit and Petire, with a small gulp, hoped in as well.
They looked about, two sharptoothed flyers were circling and what appeared to be a walled in nest stood on a tree on the father side of the cave. "I think that's where the camera showed it" Peter pointed.
He walked over to see if maybe he could climb the tree or something.

Longtail flapped his wings and sped past Peter, Kit, and Petrie as he screeched a war cry and literally tackled one of the two sharptooth flyers who were circling the nest. He then tail whipped the second one in the neck hoping to draw some attention.
He turned to Kit and Petrie and shouted, "GO! I've got them distracted!"

Cyrix turned his head as he asked, "What do you mean extinct?" He then looked over to Mim and smiled brightly. "I am so glad you're safe. I...I was beginning to worry."
Hammond smiled to see that they were safe and said, "Alright, I'll explain it to you all in a moment."

"Now we do the hard part, we wait till they return." Mim said hoping everything went well.

"Yeah well, I hate just waiting" Cera commented. "Me too" Cory slumped against the side of this odd cave. Littlefoot laughed, "Oh you two. I'm sure everything will be fine" he said in a more serious tone.

Kit, Petrie and Peter all looked shocked as Longtail tackled the sharptoothed flyers without even trying to be stealthy.
Kit and Petrie snapped too quick enough though, actually Longtail did this kind of stuff a lot, and quickly flapped their own way up to the tree.
Peter debated his glider in his backpack, but climbing the tree would be better than that right now, so he began to climb.
"Momma, Mom!" Petrie cried, reaching the nest and hoping everything was alright. It had all but been closed off on that side and so Petrie and Kit heard the voices before anyone saw anyone.
"Ptami, will you just stand back" Kit smiled as she heard her dad's voice speaking with a sigh, "as soon as I criss-cross these branches I defy anything to get through".
Petrie's mother sighed, "Tylr, that wold never hold against one of their young".
By this time Petrie and Kit were able to make a small rip and enter. At first to two adult flyers in the closed off nest looked shocked before Tylr smiled, "Oh, it's not one of their young, it's the two that belong to us" he smiled.
Then laughed as Kit all but tackled his beak, "You're alive!" the young girl cried.
"P-Petrie" his mother asked, holding her son back to look at him, "What do you and Kit think you're doing here?".
"Saving you" Petrie answered. His mother frowned, "Well dear it's very dangerous in here, you shouldn't have...".
Peter now made it to the top of the tree and Petrie's mom prepared to move her son out of danger before he and Kit explained. "It's ok, that's Mr. Peter" Kit said, "He's helping us save you".
"Oh..." the adults eased up somewhat.
Peter smiled, "Well they're ok, that's good, now perhaps you two should get the hatchlings to safety, I'm gonna go help Longtail" Peter glanced to where Longtail was still fighting off the sharptoothed flyers, the second one diving down to tackle him now that he was getting in the way of their hunt.
Tylr and his sister couldn't understand the adolescent looking human but they watched shocked as he jumped from the tree branch.
"Mr. Peter!" Kit cried, flapping forward and hoping for the best. She and the others watched in amazement as the glider came out of the backpack and swooshed him up.
"He...got flyer help without being flyer" Petrie said.
"Oh we gotta tell Cera about that, she'll probably wanna try it" Kit smiled, before realizing the trouble now Peter would be in.
Tylr had been watching and now turned to his sister, nephew and daughter. "Ptami, I noticed there's an opening down there that's open" he said, pointing to the door, "take the kids, I'm gonna go help our benefactor".
"Tylr are you crazy?!" Petrie's mom asked. "Daddy don't!" Kit next protested.
Peter would only need minimal help it seemed though, as he pulled a tranquilzer dart from him side and hit one of the sharptoothed flyers square on. It twirled down but landed mostly safely on ledge where it would awake later just having lost it's prey.
He looked to see how Longtail was doing with the other one.

"Gosh, I hope so." Chomper said, his eyes growing larger as he hoping for the best.

"Mr Hammond do you think I would be able to use one of the UAV's to distract the sharptoothed flyers to allow they other ones to escape,' frank asked.

Longtail smiled. He didn't see what had caused the other sharptoothed flyer to fall from the sky, but he liked the fact that his odds of survival had just increased. He then dodged an attack by the sharptooth flyer he'd attacked, and grabbing it by the neck dive bombed it into a separate cliff face knocking it out cold. He then stood up and smiled at Peter who he was shocked to learn could fly like a flyer!
"Well that's a new trick for the human." Longtail said aloud to himself. He then flapped his wings and rejoined Tylr, Petrie, Ptami, and Kit. "So how did I do?" he asked positively with a smile.

Hammond laughed as he watched the screen and heard Frank's request.
"I honestly don't think that will be necessary, come and look at this...." he said with ernest as he rewound the security footage in the Pterodactyl pen. "I think you all are going to like this!"

The first response Longtail got was for Petrie's mom to sigh, "Oh Longtail you really should stop doing such dangerous stunts...but we should also thank you" she admitted with a smile.
"Yeah" Tylr said, "don't know how we got boxed in where we couldn't fly away with sharptoothed flyers nearby, but--".
"They didn't know there was a difference" Kit said. Her dad and Aunt Ptami looked confused so she explained what had been explained to her about Jurassic Park
"Woah...kinda creepy that's doable" was Tylr's first response.
Peter landed and noticed the others odd, almost impressed, looks. He shrugged, "Oh wait until I get the translator back and explain airplanes" he said, signaling the way to the door.
The other flyers followed.

In the Incubator room, Henry closed his eyes and sighed once the footage was over and done with, "Ok...well I didn't faint, but I hope that boy stops doing things like that", it was clear he was proud of Peter's handling of the situation though.
"I can only explain so many hard topics to his mother on weekly phone calls".

"I guess you're right,' frank said to Hammond after watching the footage.

Longtail just smiled and began to follow Peter out of the flyer cage. He looked over to Tylr and asked, "How did you and Petrie's mom get here anyway? Was it during that big storm earlier?"

Hammond laughed at Henry and said, "Do't worry, the next time you have to call his mother, I'll talk to her. She does need to know after all that he did just pass his internship!
Cyrix shook his head at the video recording.
"My nephew always getting into trouble."
Hammond looked over to Cyrix and asked, "What do you mean..nephew?"
"Well you see, Longtail has no immediate family, so I look after him." said Cyrix with a sigh to answer Hammond's question.

"Well to tell you the truth, we're not quite sure ourselves" Petire's mom admitted, adding to the conversation, as they all exited and Peter closed the gate.
"But that's the best we can figure".
"Except..." Tylr said, yet then cut off as he looked to Petrie and Kit, it wouldn't do to scare them...and with Petrie that was really easily done.
Tylr turned back to Longtail and as everyone else was either staring in shock at Peter's jeep or preparing to get in, Tylr whisperingly commented, "I do...remember something right between that big storm and then waking up in that closed of maze of branches...it was like, a smaller trapped maze of branches in some cave I guess where the bright circle was really bright and there were a bunch of others like that one around" he pointed to Peter, "but I can't make that make sense with later when we were in there, so I might just be imagining things".
Alright, everyone hop in" Peter smiled and opened the door. Tylr frowned, "Good grief, did he just break that weird four legged things spikes or something?" he wondered.
Kit heard her dad and laughed, turning back, "No...wait 'till you see, it's not alive, it makes 'em go faster, like the flying helper thingy".

Henry turned to Hammond shocked, "Oh when you said you'd pass him, you meant now! Well, that is a surprise, thanks; and yeah, Maggie defiantly deserves to hear that!" he commented on the call to Peter's mother.
Henry listened to Cyrix's explanation and looked surprised, "Really? Boy and we've still got scientists about, none that I know of course, who think of carnivores like T-rex, uh sharpteeth, as rouges that will abandon their young" he shook his head, "something tells me that's a false assessment if you can come to care better than some humans I've met; um, what I mean is, the carnivores among you must be not that different than you herbivores, or are they?" he asked Cyrix, glancing to the little Rex in the room with them and noticing how he seemed as kid like as the others.

"Gosh, I hope they get back soon." Chomper said.
"They have been gone a while and I am sure they will be back soon, I certainly am." Diver said patting Chomper on his back to try to reassure him.
Mim nodded, "it should be soon now, then there'll be more in this cave." Mim said to Chomper also trying to reassure him.

"They'll be back soon,' frank said

Longtail gave a wide grin as he looked to Tylr and Ptami.
"Oh trust me, you'll like riding in that thing, just uhhh...hold on to something, oh and..can I ride outside on the top, can I please?!" He then turned to Tylr and whispered back:
"I had something like that too, but I think one of their kind hit me with something sharp, look at the mark on the back of my neck..it should still be there."

Cyrix thought about the question for a moment and finally he responded.
"Well, some sharpteeth are like us leaf eaters and will look after other young sharpteeth if they feel the need." He then looked over to Chomper and smiled.
"However sometimes when the need arises, all types of dinosaurs can come together for a good reason."
Hammond clapped and smiled.
"Now that, is an answer I like to hear." He then looked back to the computer screen and said, "Oh good, the others are on there way here. It shouldn't be long now."

Kit flapped up and signaled to Peter what Longtail asked about riding on top. The teen frowned yet then shrugged, "Sure, why not".
Tylr frowned as he noticed Longtail's mark. "Hmm...yeah, I'm not sure if I feel at ease with whatever their motives are myself" he said, "we might have to look more into this".
Peter then picked Longtail up and placed him on the roof of the jeep with a smile to answer the question. "Just hang on" he instructed as he and the others got in.
"So, this is what they do instead of running everywhere?" Ptami asked. Kit and Petrie shrugged, "I guess". Peter started the jeep up and the two adult flyers quickly found out what Longtail had meant about 'hang on'. They gripped leather as much as they could.
Peter squealed back over much the same way he had squealed out and parked in front of the complex once more.
When they re-entered the building Henry was just standing there with his arms crossed. Peter got what he meant and shrugged, "What, I was...getting them back quickly".
"That still doesn't account for the reckless driving" Henry shook his head, but that was all he said.
"So...what's this place?" Tylr asked, seeming to acclimate himself to everything new that seemed to hit them.
"Some cave of theirs where they put the little ones of us they bring back before we get big" Kit answered to the best of her ability. "...only, we got to be put outside for some reason" she added.
"Spike, do not eat that!" Ducky suddenly pipped up, walking over to try and stop the spiketail from eating a plant in a planter over near one of the walls, "we have not been asked and we do not know what it is" she tugged his head away, but not before Spike ate one of the leaves.
Henry frowned as he knelt down, "Oh, I hope that's a compatible plant substance with a Stegasaur diet" he said, turning back to Hammond.

Mim waved to the newcomers, "I'm so glad to see you folks here."
"yea, It's great to have you folks here." Chomper said smiling his toothy smile.
"Certainly nicer then being out there." Diver said from where she was. "Whereever here is."

Frank smiled thinking "I bet this friend ship will last a long time'.
-
"Mr Hammond do you mind if I turn the tv there is a show that I'm wantinf to watch that will begin soon,' frank asked.

"What a TV?" Cera asked, she had a feeling already it was something bad.
Henry left any comments on either unsaid, yet did think of something. "You know...I wonder if maybe we could use that translator of Peter's got get the Rex back to his pen now".
"I don't think just 'cause he'll be able to understand you he'll listen any better" Cory told the human skeptically. "He doesn't seem like the 'sit down and talk it out' type".

'It's a box that projects moving pictures here let me show you,' frank said turning the tv on.

Hammond smiled as he simply nodded his head to Franks request, even though Frank was going to do it anyway. He then looked around and asked, "Uhh...are we missing someone?"
Cyrix tilted his head and asked, "What do you mean?"
Hammond looked around again for a moment before voicing his opinion.
"Cyrix, I do believe...your nephew is missing from our group..."
"I am not!" said Longtail.
Both Cyrix and Hammond looked up and indeed Longtail against Hammond's thoughts was clinging to the ceiling, and crawling around to try and get a better view of the TV Frank was about to use.
Hammond couldn't help but chuckle while Cyrix was rather upset at his nephews actions.
"Longtail, come down this moment!" He turned to Mim and asked, "Mim would you care to help me out here?"

Frank also gave a slight chuckle though at the same time understood Cyrix's concern.

Not understanding what Cyrix meant pointed to the door, "The door to the outside is right there. I can help you to it if you need help." She said.
-
"I think she means getting Longtail down more than anything" Cera rudely butted in to the two adults conversation and told Mim, indicating where the flyer was still on the ceiling.
Kit flapped up to where he was, "T-they already turned it on, or asked it to come, or however they said such things are done, and I don't think it's going to eat us" she tried to reassure Longtail, even if she wasn't sure about such things herself.

Frank flipped through the channels before leaving it on the National Geographic. A program by the name "Aces of The Velkan War' began with the words May 23 1995 near a disputed border after which the camrea switched to a man with a sniper rifle close by him said "Oh them?, Yeah I know them, it's going to take a while it happened years ago'. "Did you know there are three kinds of fighter squadrons?' "Those who seek fame, those who live for glory, and those that can read the tide of any battle those are the three and them they were a true squadron'. the Narraters voice came on "He was a fighter pilot they called "No Wings" he was a colleage of the men I seek, 10 years ago there was a war that engulfed three nations the Velkan War and in that war was a squadron that trailed across the skies and dissiapeared from history.' "They were the best Ostian fighter squadron, they are the men I seek and so with the words of "No Wings" the curtian rises'. "It was a hot and humid day,' the man whos name had not yet been revealed said.

Not knowing what was going on Mim, Chomper and Diver sat down where they were to rest and wait till things started to make more sense.

Longtail laughed and said to Kit, "Oh I'm not afraid of that thing...I just wanted to watch upside down, and I can't do that standing on the floor. I wonder what Frank is watching? It looks interesting."
Cyrix sighed as Cera interrupted his question to Mim, but answered it at the same time.
"Thank you Cera." He turned to Mim again and smiled. "I am hoping you have some idea on how to get him down without hurting him."
Hammond laughed aloud as he continued to watch Cyrix's predicament.
"It would seem to me that you should just let him say up there Cyrix. After all...it is said that children won't learn from the mistakes they don't make."

Kit nodded at Longtail's point, yet as she turned back to the TV and tried to listen...she understood the words in that it wasn't sharptooth gibberish or anything...but she didn't have any idea what any of them just said.
She tilted her head.

"How about tieing a vine in a loop and getting it around his leg. That certainly may work." Diver said.
""Or asking Petrie's mother to fly up and grab him and bring him down." Chomper said.
"Those may work, but the second one sounds safer then the first alternative." Mim said. "or asking him to come down." Mim said.
"Gosh, would that work?" Chomper said, surprised to hear such a simple idea.

"That could work,' frank said when the show went to commercial.

"Which one?" Chomper said looking at Frank and now knowing which one he said.

Petrie's mom smiled at the suggestion, "Well I really could see that backfiring, forcing him to come down...yet still...how's it going up there Kit" she called up to see how Kit's coercing with words was going.
The young flyer smiled guilty, "Um...I think we're fine and...I'm just gonna stay up here with him too" she said.
Tyrl frowned, yet amused, "Now Kit, what did we tell you about letting yourself be lead astray" he smiled to Cyrix to show he meant to offense.
"Aw, but it's fun" Kit protested.
"Those ceiling tiles are quite tough" Peter commented, "I think they would hold...". He sounded like he was thinking through it himself though rather than being sure.

"As long as everyone is sure its safe." Mim said, not entirely sure if it were all safe.

The show came back from commercial and after a color re-emactment of one of the first battles told the story of how the war had started. "This of course can be found in any history book, but I noticed a strange simularity in the materials I gathered there were several accounts about a squadron all followed by the code word "valkyrie".' the narrater said. "I decided to pursue the history of the Velkan war through this squadron I was certian I would find something there, would it be the hidden truth behind the war or just another battle field legened?' the narrator continued. "I wasn't able to meet the squadron themselves actully it's questionable if they ever did exist, but thanks to some old friends in the military I was able to track several individuals who knew them, "No Wings" is one such man,' the narrator said before the program had another color re-enactment.

As frank was watching the show his mind was thinking back to his service during world war 2. "You see a lot of things in war but there are some thing that you never forget,' frank said to himself.

"So what does everyone want to do now?" Chomper asked looking around at those present.

Dennis, who'd been quietly listening, saw this as a possibly opportunity to maybe steal away with one or two portable dino specimans for those he was secretly working for, since the teen interns translator thingy let him know what the young rex had just said.
"Ya know Mr. Hammond, if you want me to show the kids around the facility, I'd be happy to do it, might keep them entertained" Dennis said.

Hammond smiled.
"Good thinking Dennis. Would you young ones like a tour of our home?" he asked.
Cyrix gave a frown at the comment however, and Hammond noticed.
"Of course you and Mim are welcome to join the tour as well, Cyrix."
Cyrix at that moment smiled and nodded his head.

Mim nodded, "I'd like that. It may be best that we all stay together, for now at least." Mim said.

Frank hit the record button before say ing "I'll come along with you dennis as there are areas here where you don't have access to'.

"M-more the merrier" Dennis said, hiding any private discouragement at so many meddling adult dinosaurs and or personnel coming along.
"Well, let's get going then" he said, leading the way out. "I guess first I'll start by showing you guys...um, the main computer room" he said, walking down the hallway with the others following.
"Computer?" Cory asked. "Um, yeah, it's more of those moving picture thingys" Dennis explained as they walked into the room.

"Sounds like it should be interesting." Mim said.
"Yes, it does certainly sound interesting." Diver said as they walked along.
"I can't wait to see." Chomper said.

Dennis continued and lead the way into the main terminal room where he worked. "Now just don't go touching anything without asking me, we wouldn't want anyone flying up and hitting a button that would open another predator cage".
Petrie frowned, "He mean us?" he asked Kit. She just smiled and shrugged.
While he walked over to try and find something to begin with showing the dinosaurs, Dennis mind still worked frantic to try and figure out how to separate some of the kids at least, two of different species would be nice, from both the adults and nosy Frank who had followed!
Maybe if when he showed them the terminals he looked at the lay out of different rooms he could figure something out...
"Um, so over here we can looking at all the different stuff going on in the park at once, even more so than the one or two terminals in the room we just left" Dennis explained as he pulled up the display of the different screens.
"Ooh!" Kit flapped up to see closer, "where do they all go?".
(ooc: little point I forgot, let's say he took Peter's translator for these conversations)
"Hey, I said no flying up onto where the buttons are?" Dennis said with a frown. Kit giggled, "Oh sorry".
"Ah, that's ok" Dennis shrugged. He picked the little one up, and almost felt a sigh of regret that here he was holding her with half the job done...but a dart towards the door or excuse for riding in his pocket would be odd right now, so for the continued un-wariness of those about, he had to set her down...but maybe not all the way yet...
"Actually, here, I'll find you little one's a spot where you can sit and probably see better". Dennis pushed some candy wrappers aside. Cory picked up one dropped treat and bit it testingly.
"Wow! It's like a treesweet!" he said with a grin.
"Yeah, uh whatever that is" Dennis said as he gave Cory, Ducky, Diver (if she wants) and Petrie a boots up to the terminal.

"These look neat, they certainly does." Diver says from where she is put down, looking around, but not touching anything.
"Eating strange foods isn't always wise, so be careful." Mim says still walking with the group. She looks around, "It is interesting looking."
"It looks sorta neat." Chomper said.
"What do most folks do here?" Mim asked.

"Oh, well this is where we monitor most of the park's activities and make sure none of the...um sharpteeth, get out of the fences that keep them in and away from the her--flatteeth" Dennis worked through saying it how the dinosaurs would understand it.
"Hmm, don't do a good job at that, do you?" Cory asked boldly. Dennis frowned, "Well I don't know, wasn't it you kids who first broke the wire by biting it?" he asked back. Cory glanced aside, even if he wasn't the guilty party "Maybe...".

"It wasn't their fault Dennis they had never seen a electric fence before so they didn't know that touching it would hurt a lot,' frank said.

"Yes, it's not like we had electric fences laying around everywhere, certainly not." Diver said.
"I think we would have noticed if there were." Mim said.
"What are electric fences?" Chomper asked.
"Maybe what Longtail bit." Mim said.
Diver nods, "Yea, it goes bzzzt if you bite it." Diver said.

Longtail laughed at Cory's bold declaration and laughed harder when Dennis brought up the electric fence. "Yeah...That must've been what I bit...and it did hurt!" he was now rolling along the floor from laughing so hard.

Hammond stood up and stretched his arms and yawned as he said, "So, who want's a coffee break?"

Dennis raised an eyebrow at the odd behavior of the little flyer. Kit smiled, "You sure do take it well for someone who did...um what was it called, shock, themselves like that" she said.

"Sounds good" Henry said. "Yeah, and I can just grab a soda since I haven't acquired a taste for coffee yet" Peter grimaced.

Longtail stopped rolling for a moment but continued laughing as he said, "Yeah, but I should have known better than to touch something that I didn't know."

Hammond smiled as he stepped over to the door, and pulled it open.
"After you gentlemen."

"Or to bite something strange. I'm glad I didn't do that." Chomper said.

Henry and Peter filed out past Hammond and on down the corridor.

"and I'll make a note not too do such" Cory added, still munching his very sweet treesweet as he called it, the candy bar.
This gave Dennis an idea, the corner where the vending machine was located was a narrow fit, followed by a door that could be slammed shut...
"Say, if you kids...and your care-takers" he smiled to Cyrix and Mim, "want, I can show you the...uh well I guess you'd call it a tree, where we keep those very sweet treesweet" he pointed to what Cory held.
"You mean you got more?!" Petrie asked in surprise, eyes going wide. Dennis smiled, "Oh yeah, lots, and it would probably be a very interesting tree to you".
"Neat!" Kit said. "Yeah, let's go!" Cory was all for this plan. Dennis curbed a smile, this would be like...well...showing candy to bunch of babies.

"More, I thought these were all you had." Diver said interested.

Longtail looked curiously at the candy bar Cory had and couldn't help but ask.
"Does that really taste like a treesweet? I'm just not sure..."

Hammond followed behind Pete and Henry and as the trio walked into the break room Hammond spotted the coffee maker. "Ahh...my old friend. Time to put you to use again." he said with a smirk and a light laugh.

"Nuh uh, it's sweeter" Cory answered, taking another bite. "Yes, but this is the...well it's not a tree, but that's the best description i can give of a reference" Dennis said even as he got the others moving. Frank and the two adult dinosaurs would be who he would have to have on the other side of the door he pondered though, he also tried to think up which two species would be easiest to grab up, either of the two Pteradactyls or even that other flyer who's type he couldn't remember right now, or maybe one of the Parasauralopus or even the Corythosaurus...they were smallest.
"Hmm, let's see, I think I have change on me for the machine" Dennis muttered even as they walked.
"What's that?" Kit asked.
"Um...it's what makes the tree let you have the treats" Dennis explained.

Meanwhile, in the main break room, Peter was already using just such method to obtain a soda from another nearby vending machine as he grinned at Mr. Hammond.
"Yeah, Uncle Henry said your job gets stressful even more so than his" the teen commented.
"We all deal with things that could kill us at any moment" Henry told his nephew, "Yeah, it's stressful".

"Maybe we can at least take a look at this new type of tree." Diver said.
"I'm sure we'd all be interested in seeing this." Mim said.
"If you're into the sweet stuff." Chomper said, who didn't like treesweet or sweet bubbles, being a carnivore."

frank thought about what dennis said and thought 'If I were someone from Biosan that would be a good place for a trap'. He thought a little bit more before saying "you know we humans have developed a way of flying by mechanical means'.

"A type of fake flyer?" Diver asked.
"I guess if the wings were large enough one could fly if one was not a flyer, in theory." Mim said assuming from some observations she'd made about flyers.

'Some aircraft require engines to get airborne but others like gliders are pulled by another aircraft to get airborne or they use the wind to take off,' frank said.
-
"What is an engine? Some sort of different legs or something?" Mim asked not having heard the term engine before.
-
"It's the power house of an airplane it's what lets it fly,' frank said.

Longtail smiled.
"That sounds like fun. Can we see it?" he asked with glee.
Cyrix gave a content sigh as he stepped forward.
"I do hope it won't cause any trouble for you humans. I'd hate for us to be a bother.

Hammond then said "Yes it does get stressful, but a good sense of humor can make it seem so much easier."

"Yeah I could show you guys the planes the hanger is close by,' frank said.

"Yeah, perfect" Dennis hid any disappointment well, and just continued to try and figure out a way to use this to his advantage next as he and the dinosaurs followed Frank towards the hanger.
"Is it like that thing Mr. Peter used when he saved my dad and aunt from the sharptoothed flyers?" Kit asked.

Mim nodded, "it does sound interesting." She said.
"Sounds kinda neat." Chomper said, thinking what it would be like to fly like Petrie could.
"Do you have any thing like planes to go underwater?" Diver asked, wondering if they had things to go underwater as well as into the air.

"Yes we do have some that go underwater but they're called submarines,' frank said.

"Interesting." Mim said.
"It is, and it certainly sounds like it could be fun too for those inside the plane and th submarine." Diver said, liking the idea of being able to fly and go underwater easily and deep both.
"They both sound kinda neat." Chomper said, imagining being able to easily fly and go underwater too.

"Yeah it is though most submarines have little room to move around,' frank said.

"That sounds bad, it does, it does." Ducky said nodding.
"I guess it's not a thing to be in if you are afraid of being in a small place." Chomper said, not being afraid himself but he could imagine some would be. Maybe Petrie even, he thought to himself.

"Yeah but it can be pretty nice if you're used to it,' frank said.

"It sounds really cool" Cory said. "Yeah, I mean, worth trying atleast" Kit added even as Petrie looked nervous.
"Well, we could take them in either one you want" Dennis said, "maybe even using two vehicles, so it's not so cramped".

"It does sound neat, it certainly does." Diver said.
"Yes, it is, interesting. These things that are around." Mim said.

"Yes it is nice flying across that wide open sky,' frank said.

As they reached the hanger frank began to open the hanger door before asking Dennis "Could you give me a hand with this'.

"Flying sounds neat. I do it in my sleep stories sometimes." Diver said smiling at the memory of flying in her sleep stories. "It is like swimming, but in the air."
"I've heard flyers say it is very fun to fly, or glide in the sky." Mim said, "Except if you go to high were it gets cold or hard to breath, or in a storm."
"Flying sounds neat." Chomper said, liking the idea of flying above the ground.

Dennis came over and helped Frank with the hanger door. He had to admit, for a simple computer tech personnel, it did sound exciting to get to use one of the jets.
"Yeah, flying in skywater's not fun" Kit told the others and Petrie grimaced and shook his head.
"How come you all gots boulders in front of a lot of your stuffs that you have to move?" Cory asked the humans, referring to the doors he'd seen having to be opened, especially this heavy looking one.

"It's to keep the planes secure,' frank said.

"So no one will steal them? That is not nice to steal, it certainly is not." Diver said, not liking the idea.
"True, but some still steal." Mim said.

"Yeah but you can still prevent people from stealing,' frank said.

Chomper: "how, by telling them stealing is bad, have guards, or slapping their hand?" He asked, not able to imagine any other methods.

"Well that doesn't always work and sometimes it can be necessary to steal from someone,' frank said.

"My mommy & Daddy said stealing is wrong, she certainly did." Diver said nodding.
"Mine did too." Chomper said.

"I know stealing is wrong, but...I can also understand when it might be needed to do something like that...especially in the Mysterious Beyond." Longtail said with a sigh.
Cyrix patted his nephew on the back and asked, "is something wrong?"
Longtail shook his head.
"No...but I do wonder...if some humans think stealing is okay, what do they steal?" he asked.

"Some humans do thinks it's ok to steal they steal everything from food to money,' frank said.

"They sound pretty evil, they certainly do." Diver said nodding.
"They sure do." Chomper said shaking his head slightly

"Not all of them some people steal cause they don't have enough money to get what they need to survive,' frank said.

Longtail frowned.
"But then...if they don't have enough to survive why don't they just stick together and help each other...like a herd?" he asked.
Cyrix thought about what his nephew had said and nodded his head without saying anything.

After pouring his third cup of coffee Hammond sat down and sighed.
"I didn't think running this place would be so...hectic." he said aloud.

"Maybe they never go the idea to do that, or hate ones who are different like some do." Diver said.

"Well for some humans it's not easy to get along with others,' frank said.

"Like Hyp the bully and his 2 friends." Chomper said.
"I've heard rumors about them." Mim said, not sure which rumors were true and which ones were not.

Cyrix nodded as well.
"I'd like to meet Hyp and his friends, so I can see how well...they play with others." said Cyrix as he continued to walk.
Longtail however sighed as he answered Mim.
"Yes...most of the rumors about them are true...I remember the time they tied my tail to a rock to see if I could swim...I hate them." he said with spite in his voice.

"They are bullies, but it was funny though when they tried to threaten Mia she then hit Hyp with a big stick and her older brother went down on all fours and asked Nod why don't they wrestle. They left quickly." Diver said.

"Hate is a very powerful word longtail,' frank said.

Longtail had a scowl across his face as he replied to Frank.
"They tried to drown me! Why wouldn't I hate them?!" he asked in anger.

Frank stood there for a moment. "Well I could probbaly get them to stop picking on you with these,' frank said pointing at on of the jet aircraft in the hanger.
-
Diver looked at the aircraft puzzled by what Frank meant. "You mean by dropping a rock on their heads, or other things? I've seen some flyers do that when they help the grown ups make different types of sharpteeth leave the Great Valley." She said.

"Not exactly the kind of rocks these drop would be enought to kill,' frank said.
-
"That sounds bad, it certainly does." Diver said.
-
"It is I've seen the damage they can do,' frank said before being silent for a moment signaling it was a hard topic to speak about.

The silence only gave Longtail time to think, and before he could stop himself, he said aloud:
"I remember...the first time I had....to kill. I was protecting myself of course, but...it got...messy. I still can't get the images out of my head. It was horrible."
Cyrix simply reached down and hugged Longtail hoping to get him to clam down.

"Yeah I know the feeling, most of the memories I have are ones that I wish I could just forget but they're so terrible I can't forget them, but I won't share them as most of them are too graphic and I just would't want you kids to hear about them until you're older,' frank said.

Longtail stared at Frank with an sympathetic eye and nodded his head in silence.
Cyrix however stated.
"Thank you Frank, my nephew has a hard time dealing with this particular problem...perhaps when the chance presents itself you two should...talk." he suggested to Frank

"Talk about something funny." Diver said.

"Well Mr. Hammond" Pete said with a smile, that's part of what we're here for, is to help with the stressful times; right Uncle Henry?" he asked.
Henry smiled, "Much as we can, yes".

"Like the time I thought the grown-ups had lost their mind or something was in the water when they were singing about how great Cera was for chasing off Bellydraggers" Cory chuckled.
When the threehorn shot him a look, he tried to fix what he said, "Not the...part where you were a hero so much...as...the part where I thought the grown-ups had lost it" he explained. Kit knew he was half lying and the part about Cera being an unbeatable hero had been kinda funny to him. She hid her smile.
"I think it was nice Cera got some attention" she said, "Uh...no offense Littlefoot, but you do get to come up with the plan most time".
Dennis smiled a bit, he was starting to like the kids and that wasn't a good he thought...oh well, he knew him and the ones he worked with wouldn't hurt them, they just needed some samples of blood or something and...
"Hey Frank" Dennis turned to the security officer, "I should probably do a test to make sure the non-flyers can handle that height don't ya think? Just a simple blood test?".
At trying to figure out what a blood-test could be, Cory frowned and seemed to lose some color.
"i-it's nothing like an attack or anything" Dennis quickly reassured, "just...like hitting a pointy stick that's annoying".

Longtail sighed and said, "A blood test still sounds like it could hurt. I for one don't like pointy sticks anywhere near me."
Cyrix had to agree there and replied.
"Well I'm sure Dennis and Frank have done it many times before or else they wouldn't be talking as if it were easy now would they?"
Longtail blinked in surprise and looked to Dennis.
"Is it really that easy to do this 'blood test'? he asked.

Hammond smiled as he downed the last of his coffee and said, "And I'm glad I did my homework on the people who'd be working with me. You two, Frank and Dennis are some of the best minds to help me run this place...although I feel it's time we got back to trying to round up that T-rex."

"That would be good,' frank said to cryix before turning tothe security officer "It would be a good idea to do a blood test first,' frank said. "Longtail a blood test doesn't really hurt that much it only hurts initally,' frank said to longtail.

"Right" Dennis nodded, backing up what Frank said, "It only hurts initially, and even then not much" he added, seeing the little Corythosaurus about to flinch.
"Here, I'll even prove it on whatever brave soul feel up to going first" Dennis added, upping the challenge a bit to get a response, which he got. "Well I'm not afraid of anything!" Cera declared, striding forward.
Triceratops…yes that would do nicely, Dennis thought. As he knelt to deal with Cera, he conspicuously pulled two vials he happened to have with him yet kept one hidden within his palm as he stuck Cera and drew some blood into each, slipping the second vial away and standing with the one.
"And there it is!" Dennis declared, showing them. Kit flinched and frowned, "Y-yeah I've seen that stuff when folks are attacked, but...why is it a good thing" she wondered.
"'cause, it'll tell us if you're sick or not" Dennis told one reason, "and we can see if you could stand being up there and all, like I said".
"It tells all that?!" Cera asked. "With proper machinery, yeah". Dennis was about to point out how it was even such simple stuff like this that allowed them to bring the dinosaurs back to even be talking to them now…but he felt that might be saying too much given his current plan.

"Oh, right" Peter said, "So how should we go about that anyway? Catching a Rex I mean".

Longtail looked surprised at how little it hurt and even more so at how much could be learned from the blood test. He then stepped forward and said "I'm next! I'm not going to let Cera out do me!"
Cyrix laughed at his nephews courage.
"This will be fun to see." he said waiting to see Longtail's reaction to being poked with the needle.

"So you use that stuff to tell all sorts of stuff about folks? How do you know you don't take to much? Since that is supposed to be inside folks." Chomper asked.

"well we're only taking a little bit of blood but you'll still have enough,' frank said.
-
"Hehe, yeah" Dennis answered with a smile, "we humans give blood sometimes too, so trust me if anyone knows how to only take a little, plus you replenish it" he added.
"Re-what?" Kit asked. "Uh, like regrow it" Dennis said.
Cera, who had been the one to feel the prick but take it like a threehorn and like her dad would have wanted her to, hid a smirk as Longtail stepped forward.
"Well if you inisist" Dennis said, pulling the same vial trick as before with two and one handed over to Frank. He turned back to see how his 'patient' had done after the jab.

"Yeah I've given blood a few times one time was in december of 1941,' frank said.

Longtail was stiff, and his eyes wide as if he'd seen a ghost...or if he'd woken up after a bad sleep story.
Cyrix noticing this change in his nephew stepped forward and called his name.
"Longtail? Longtail, are you alright?!" he was now starting to worry.
Longtail for the moment was indeed having a flash back to the scar on his neck and how he'd come here in the first place. His tail instinctively moved over the old wound and it shocked him into moving again.
Longtail then shouted in a startled voice, "That's it! That's what I felt hit me in my neck during the storm that brought me here! Some one shot me with one of those things...or something like it and it made me sleep!"

"If it was one of my men they will be severley disiplined,' frank said.

"It sounds bad, it certainly does." Diver said.
"Why would they do that?" Chomper asked as he looked around at some of the folks present.
"Quite a few reasons." Mim said.

"Well sometimes a little disipline isn't bad,' frank said.

Forgetting for a moment the purpose of what he was doing, and really he already had what he needed, Dennis frowned at the little flyer's words.
"Well, DNA, um, the blood stuffs and such in it, is used and vital in bringing dinosaurs back, so no doubt you were pricked by something like this just in bringing you back...maybe since the storm, which I can only guess was the ending of your world, was the last thing you remember, because, well" he gave a small chuckle, "for someone to have actually hit you with this during that time would require time travel and we don't have that technology yet".
"Were you knocked unconscious during the storm, before you felt the prick?" Dennis asked, trying to make heads or tails of the flyer's confusing tale.

"Ah yes but it could have happened when we revived them,' frank said to dennis.

"You used blood to do that?" Chomper asked.
-
"That's what I just said" Dennis replied half to himself with a frown, yet he moved on and smiled to the little Rex, "Yes, quite remarkable all that it can do, isn't it".

"It may be remarkable but for a long time humans didn't know about DNA,' frank said.
-
Longtail sighed and continued to rub the back of his neck with his tail as he spoke up.
"Well whatever the reason...if I ever have to be poked with one of those things again, whoever does it had better have the guts to do it while I'm awake and not try to sneak up on me. Or they'll get it!"
Cyrix simply rolled his eyes at his nephews comment, being sure that he wasn't being too serious.

"Didn't know about dna? Did those other rainbow faces tell you. The ones who spoke in riddles?" Diver said, remembering them from before, though she didn't see much of them she knew her sister's friends may have seen more of them."
"I wish I had had a chance to meet them myself." Mim said, having heard about them a bit here and there in one of the adult story times where they tell each other stories.

"what? rainbow faces?,' frank asked somewhat confused.

"yes, certainly. They came to the Great Valley with a herd of mixed far walkers. My sister and her friends can tell you more, I think, then I can." Diver said.

"Could you please tell us more about the rainbow faces,' frank asked ducky.

"I'll keep that in mind" Dennis replied to what Longtail said.
Most of the other kids nodded as well. "Yes" Ducky explained, "they helped us when Petrie's uncle, and Kit's too" she giggled, "along with some mean flyers thought a Stone of Cold Fire was landing and was magic, but I didn't see them for a lot of the time those flyers had me taken, I didn't" she admitted, surprisingly able to broach the subject without much difficulty.
Cory frowned, "I still never gave them a good kick in the tail bone for that!" he said. Petrie's slight frown he smiled a bit, "the other two, I meant the other two".
"Anyway, they seemed to know lots a stuffs like...well..." Ducky couldn't think of much besides, "Well they knew about the Stone of Cold Fire in the first place, even if it turned out not to be magic like they said".
"Hey wait a minute!" Cory exclaimed, "that's right, I just realized, they caused the whole problem in the first place by saying that stuff!" he frowned in anger, "Why I oughta kick them in their tail bones, even if the tail's in the way!".

"Well they don't seem to be nice,' frank said.

Cyrix laughed a bit.
"Now Cory, do calm down. As for a fact I have met the other two rainbow faces you clam to dislike, they were friendly and taught me a great deal. I owe them alot." he said with a small smile.
Longtail looked confused as he said, "But I've never seen any rainbow faces beside you and Aunt Mim."

"They sang about beyond the mysterious beyond and the male was darker then the female, she certainly was." Diver said.
Mim looked at Cyrix, "taught you a great deal, like juggling? I have a crazy ol uncle who taught me that." She said smiling a bit.

"I think I've seen some in my dreams at least could you discribe what they looked like,' frank asked.

"My sister's friends saw them more, but I think they looked like Mim, only they didn't have the slight blueish tint to their scales like Mim does. The were green with blue stripes. She was darker then he was." Diver said.

"Do you want to hear about my dream,' frank asked.

"Is that what you call sleep stories? "I'd like to hear about it. How about the rest of you?" Mim said, looking at the others.
"I certainly would." Diver said nodding.
"A story, it sounds neat, as long as no body gets hurt and it's not to scarry." Chomper said, liking and happy at the idea of hearing a story.

"Well it was like anyother day here when we recived from the radar room that a unknown plane was comming in so I took one of the planes up when I got on sight I looked into the cockpit when I noticed that the pilots were rainbow faces and that's when I woke up,' frank said.

"Oooh, sounds interesting." Diver said holding her hands together.
"Kinda neat." Chomper said.
"Do you often have those sorts of sleep stories?" Mim asked curiously.

"Not all the time most of them are of my war time experiences,' frank said.

"Well...I still don't think they should have been talking like that" Cory said, crossing his arms. He listened and tried to make sense of Frank's sleep story.
"Y-you mean they were working one of those already and knew how?" Cory asked, pointing to the plane within the hanger.
"I'll just go put these through to test that the dinosaurs will be cleared to fly" Dennis said, walking off with vials he was holding to a room just around the corner.

As dennis walked off frank walked up to a plane before tapping the side "This was my first plane the P-40B Tomahawk. This propeller is what allows the aircraft to get airborne the propeller is powered by this enging,' frank said opening the engine port.

Longtail walked up to the plane Frank was mentioning, and he slapped it with his tail for a moment, and cringed as he heard a loud bang of flesh against metal, and felt a great deal of pain from hitting the metal plane.
"OW!!! That really hurts!" he cried.
Cyrix just had to laugh out loud at Longtail's antics. It was just good timing.

"It does not flap it's wings like a flyer does?" Diver asked, amazed to hear the difference.

"Hmm, maybe that means we could fly and not flap!" Kit pondered. "Wouldn't try it" Cory said a bit skeptically, and glancing over at Petrie, Kit gathered he didn't want to try it anytime soon either.
"So do we have to wait for Mr. Dennis to tell us our blood said it's ok to go on the plane?" Kit asked.
"Yeah, how long does it take to tell that anyway?" Cory asked.
"No telling" Tylr commented, glancing back.
(ooc: Yeah, I forgot he would have been in the room too! LOL)

Meanwhile, as back up, and a precation, Dennis had finished putting the two vials he'd been holding in a unit to test them, but then he snuck from the room with the two other vials, threehorn and flyer from what he'd been able to grab, and snuck down the hallway and to where some of the jeeps were kept.
He quickly selected one and drove off.
(ooc: Alright, just wanted to give him that head start to either run into trouble or begin to be tracked; I know, running off wiht DNA samples, while closer to the movie, isn't as exciting, but it's what Dennis was able to get away it)

In the break room, Henry still had a small computer PDA sort thing tied in with the main computers to alert him of any major oddities went on, like more fences going off line.
He was just trying to think how they were going to track the Rex still loose when it went off. Glancing at it, Henry frowned. "Hmm, door to the Jeep hanger must have swung open or something" he told Hammond and Peter still in the room, "the little light thingy was just saying that that opened".
"Maybe Frank and Dennis are showing the dinosaurs the jeeps" Peter shrugged.

"Well it requires a mixture of man and machine power to control an airplane,' frank said.

"So you have to flap yourself so the airplane keeps in the air?" Chomper asked, not understanding what Frank meant.

"not exactly here I'll show you,' frank said before hopping in the plane. "The control stick is what makes the plane move you just move it to the left when you want to roll left, to the right to roll right, forward to dive and, back to climb the rudder is moved by pedals where your feet rest you push the left pedal in to turn left and the right one in to turn right,' frank said.

"That sounds complicated, it certainly does." Diver said.

"It was for me when I first started flying but I came to understand it,' frank said.

"The--wings not move at all?" Petrie asked, confused by the whole concept.
"Wow, but how's a stick like that control such a big...thing anyway?" Cory wondered. It didn't make sense to him and he'd have to see it done before he could think of it happening properly. He didn't doubt Frank's words, it was just odd to picture.
"Sounds neat" Kit said with a smile. "I can't wait to try out flying without having to fly anywhere" she giggled.

"Well if it's alright with your mom and dad I could take your brothers and sisters up for a flight when the results of the blood test come back,' frank said.

"it sounds hard. Rhyn has said flying can get complicated." Diver said.
"How can a spinning thing keep it up with the wings not flapping?" Chomper asked.

"The airflow comming over the wings helps the pilot fly the plane break the airflow and the controls freeze up and well a ploits in trouble if that happens,' frank said hopping down from the plane. "Though a ploit can recover it's really hard to,' frank said running his finger down the side of the plane while walking around it. "With a swept wing design it is harder to break the... air flow,' frank said while his fingers ran across a couple of bullet holes in the plane which made him think back to his experiences in world war ii.

Longtail gave a boastful smile.
"I'll bet I can beat that silly thing in a race any day! There is no way a flyer that doesn't flap its wings can beat me!" he said aloud almost expecting a reply from Frank.
Cyrix stepped over to examine the blades that made the airplane move and he smiled at the simplicity of it but had to wonder as well how it kept such a machine in the air.
"Can you start it for us Frank...I'd like to see it work." Cyrix asked after a moment.

Hammond heard Henry's comment and turned around...almost in slow motion and said aloud:
"No. Those doors are to remain sealed unless given a code, and only two people here know the code...and..." his face fell for a moment. He then slapped his cane against the table he was sitting at.
"I do hope the second person with that code isn't doing anything stupid!" Hammond said through gritted teeth.

"what is the method by which the plane is able to remain in the air and move?" Mim asked, curious about the physics of aerodynamics, though she had never heard of the words of physics or aerodynamics. She studied the shape of the wing as best as she could and compared it to the shapes of some flyer wings she had seem up close & Guido's feathered glider wings.

Frank shook his head and looked at cryix. "Yeah I could show you how it works did you also wan to see how one of the jest work,' frank said before motioning to a mechanic who brought over some ear plugs which he handed out "You better put these in your ears this engine is really loud,' frank said.

Kit frowned as she nontheless took the headphones, curious about what they did. Cory and the others seemed to have the same look. As a technician noticed some of the young ones were so small the headphones would do any good, he quickly improvised with a group of the flyers, swimmers and such and tape to fasten it where everyone's ears would be protected.
Feeling proud of himself for this thinking on his toes, he smiled and walked back over to a safe distance to let Frank start the plane.

At first Henry frowned, before an answer made itself known. "I...better see if I can get in touch with either Dennis or Frank..." he said, hoping that bad feeling he was getting didn't mean anything.
"Let's see, hanger..." he searched through the numbers he had and finally found a land line phone that was within the hanger area. He called the number, "Please don't be in the middle of a test flight..." he said to himself wishing very hard.
When he heard the phone pick up, he wasted no time in speaking. "Frank? That you? Listen, is Dennis still with you?" he asked, glancing over to where Hammond was and hoping for a positive answer.
"We--we're just doing a head count of sorts" he went on.

As he tore out of the jeep hanger, Dennis focused on trying to find, the correct paths and such along the road to lead to the docks where he needed to next be. His personal phone buzzed and he realized, just for safety, he'd had it on silent. Picking it up, Dennis was first treated to a harsh yell.
"Nedry, where have you been, I've been trying to...".
Dennis flinched and then sighed at the voice, "Calm down, I got two good specimans, DNA anyway, unless I hit some wildlife on the way to the docks, live specimans to clone are looking unlikely" he said.
"Well do you have the vials cooled atleast?" one of those paying Dennis for all this asked. "Um..." Dennis spotted a cooler in the back of the jeep, thankfully! "Yeah" he said, pulling and throwing the vials into the cooler, "it's taken care of".
There was a sigh "Just get yourself to the docks and met the connection at seven, and don't blow it!".
"Have a bit more faith, would ya" Dennis said with a smile as he ended the call, "Geez, it's like he thinks I'm a complete idiot" Dennis said, shaking his head.
"I think I can manage to get down to some dumb old docks".

"No he left to take the vials from the blood test to the lab he has not been back yet,' frank said.

"Maybe he got lost." Diver said, letting the funny looking things be put on her ears. She knew about loud sounds and it seemed the things were used like some held their hands over there ears, or some used leaves to cover their ears, or some messy folks put mud on their ears.
"I do that sometimes, but if he has been living here for a while he should know his way around." Chomper said.
Mim didn't say anything at the moment, partially waiting to see and partially wondering how an airplane could go into the air without flapping it's wings and remain in the air and move.

"Wait a minute is there a jeep missing,' frank asked henry.

Frank sighed "I knew there was some suspicious about dennis,' frank thought. Muldoon walked up to the group "Something up,' he asked frank. "Yesdennis tok some blood samples from our guests to see if they could survive a flight in an airplane at altitude,' frank replied.

"Maybe he went to a far away place to test the blood." Diver said.

"The lab is just down the hall he shouldn't have left the base to test the blood,' frank said.
-
"Maybe he saw a large sharptooth and got scared away." Chomper said.
-
Longtail felt the protective gear being placed around his ears, and scoffed.
"I bet we look stupid with these things on our heads." he said aloud.

Hammond sighed.
"Its getting hard to run a respectable business when you can't even trust your computer/tech genius. What a waste."

"Maybe we can help instead." Diver said.
"Yea, I bet we all could work together and do a pretty good job." Chomper said.
Mim continued to look the plane over, "I'm not sure if they would be comfortable with that if they are use to being around only their own kind." Mim said.

"Shall I take one of the planes up to look for him,' frank asked hammond.

"That seems like a good idea,' muldoon said.
-
"But, why would he run away with blood?" Kit asked, despite the slight morbidness of such a thought, it also hitting her as weird.
"Might not have even been that, he might have just got lost or run away scared" Cory said.

Henry had put the call on speaker phone just so Hammond could hear it all and at the kids' words a bad thought hit him.
He glanced to Hammond, "Have...any of our rivals...been talking to Dennis or anything?" he asked quietly.
"I don't know, but he was on a phone call last week that he told me to 'mind my own buisiness' about when I asked about it" Peter added.

Meanwhile, Dennis was trying to convince himself he hadn't become turned around as he drove down the pathways.
"H-hold on" he paused the jeep at a group of signs, neither of which looked like dock signs. "I'm going further into the park, no I need to go out!" Dennis sighed and turned the jeep around, driving the other way.

"Mr hammond we've got a unidentified ship that just entered the port a few minutes ago that's not responding to our attempts to hail it and we have no shpis comming today,' a raido man said to Mr hammond on a walkie talkie.

"maybe he likes to secretly drink the blood since he is secretly a mean sharptooth." Chomper said.

Longtail flapped his wings and asked Frank
"Let me go! I wanna chance to use my tracking skills! Besides he'll hear your metal flyer coming, but he won't hear me."
Cyrix nodded in agreement with longtail.
"My nephew does have a point. But it still might be dangerous, especially with Sharptooth out there as well."

Hammond pinched the bridge of his nose and gave a heavy sigh. This was getting way out of hand...and to make matters worse Hammond knew something else.
He quickly spoke into the walkie talkie that was going towards the dock.
"We have no security presence on this island...at least not yet! I want you to stall that ship from leaving, I don't care what you have to do to stop it. I just don't want it to leave this island, and we will deal with Dennis later!"
He then said to Frank over the phone, "Take a plane out, but have Longtail follow you lower to the ground that way you can both search and still find him faster."

"what if he catches longatail, that would certainly be bad." Diver said worried.
"It would be bad." Chomper said.

"It's a calucated risk but longtail is right dennis would be able to hear my plane if I flew low. With longtail flying low dennis would not hear him,' frank said.
-
"Life sometimes has to have a few risks, otherwise it's not worth living." said Cyrix with a nod of his head as he turned to Longtail. "Are you ready nephew?"
Longtail looked around for a moment and then gulped as he was suddenly feeling nervous about this idea.
"I guess I am. But which way do I go? I'm not even sure I'd find Dennis in time."

"He should be heading east since that's the fastest way to the docks,' frank said.

Peter frowned, confused, "W-why would Dennis just betray us like this?" he asked. Henry sighed, "Something tells me they probably offered him a huge amount they don't even plan on paying out in the first place" he said even as he stood,
"We could probably check on that boat still being there from the main room, after all...there are a few computers we don't need Dennis specifically to unlock" he said lowly, realizing how much Dennis controled that one room and now wasn't with them.

"Alright, now we're talking!" Dennis said, spotting out a sign that looked like it was leading to the docks, apparently he was going the right way now.

Meanwhile, Sharptooth milled around about some of the foliage and quickly swallowed down a small runner he'd managed to catch, it was something of an improvement over that furry thing they'd kept putting in with him in the iron, bitting, tree branches enclosure...those things hardly even knew how to run or be hunted properly, they just stood there, no fun at all.
He moved on, across the landscape and nearer where the jeep trails stood.

Frank got a flight jacket on and got into a P-47 that was close to the runway and raidoed to hammond "Do we have and raido head sets small enough to fir longtails head so he can raido us back when he finds dennis,' frank asked.

"Will you need to teach him how to use them, or can you fix it so he can use them without training?" Mim asked.
-
"Yeah I can teach him how to use it,' frank said.
-
"Yes sir,' the raido operator said walking away from hammond.
Frank quickly fashoned a raido head set small enough to fit longtail "Just speak into the part when you find dennis,' frank said pointing to the mouthpiece.
-
"Should he test it to make sure it's all working? Don't want him to get into trouble just to find out then that nothing is working." Mim said, a bit concerned Longtail, though she knew he was resourceful.

'That's a good idea,' frank said before walking over to the P-47 putting the head set on and saying "Red bird leader to Red bird 2 can you hear me over'.
-
Longtail shook his head to make sure the device would stay in place as he flew through the trees on the island. He smiled for a moment and then said "This is Red bird 2 to Red bird leader...I can hear you alright. Now let's ride!" he then flapped his wings and did a spin in the air.

Frank put a flight cap on and started the engine up. The engine roared to life as the big plane started down the runway, frank took off moments before the treeline at the end of the runway came into view and climbed to 10,000 feet. Frank put the oxygen mask on his face and started scanning the ground and the skies.

As they watched Longtail get prepared with his head set, Cory leaned over to whisper to Kit, "Why do they do that? Give nicknames I mean?". With a smile, Kit shrugged, "I don't know, I guess so others listening have no idea what you're talking about" she guessed pretty closely right.
"Well if I heard two flyers, or anyone, talking like that it would just make me think they were up to something" Cory replied.
"Be careful you two" Kit whispered after them as Longtail and Frank took off.

Sharptooth picked up that odd mixed scent of the little two legged ankle biters, as he considered them since they were so annoying, and that waste scent of what those round four legged things they rode but which weren't alive smelled like.
Whatever went into them, though, it came out really fast since they always smelled like that. Even having been bound, Sharptooth could put these two smells together to know that the two legger he tracked was faster than normal, but not uncatchable.
He moved off, trying to silently stalk his prey as silently as a big sharptooth like him could.

As frank climbed he saw the sharptooth close by the airstrip "Guess I'd better drive him off to clear the runway,' frank thought to himself before winging over to buzz the sharptooth.

"I do hope everything turns out for the best, I certainly do." Diver said, a bit worriedly.
"I'm sure everything well." Chomper said patting Diver on one of her shoulders.
"I'm sure it will to. We just have to wait." Mim said, trying to keep everyone's spirits up.

Longtail couldn't believe it...the island view from the sky was beautiful! However his smile turned to a frown as he looked down and could clearly see Sharptooth, and he could see Frank moving his plane to annoy the giant predator.
"This is Red bird 1 to Leader, should I keep looking for Dennis or would you like some help with that brute?" he asked with a slightly amused tone of voice.

Hammond suddenly smacked his head against his palm.
"I can't believe I forgot!" he exclaimed aloud.

"This is redbird leader keep looking for dennis red bird 2 I'm just showing him the airplane since he hasn't seen one yet,' frank said.

Sharptooth turned, roaring angrily at the very loud flyer that buzzed by. A quick sniff told him it was the same type of flyer as those cold ground runners. Great, they were in the sky too! Whether he'd seen one before or not, it was not a welcome thing and with another roar, Sharptooth took off after the plane, snapping and trying to catch it.

At the roar which sounded, Dennis started and his jeep veered off a slight incline, not bad, but hard to pull out of. "Oh, great..." he muttered, getting out and slamming the door shut, "first there's probably a vicious predator out there loose, no scratch that, I know there is! and now this! I'm never gonna get to the docks at this rate!" he said, trying to see what could be done about the jeep.

Henry continued to lead the way to the main computer room. "First I guess let's make sure everything else is running smoothly" he tried to come up with a plan A.
"W-what all exactly can we do that Mr. Nedry doesn't need to be here for?" Peter asked.

"You aren't gonna catch me bark breath!,' frank yelled out in sharptooth over an intercom he had installed on the plane.
-
Longtail smiled and replied to Frank.
"Got it Red bird Leader." he then spread his wings and let the wind catch him and soared closer to the trees knowing he'd have a better chance at finding Dennis. Then he heard a voice, and it sounded familiar.
He landed in a nearby tree and smiled as he'd found who he was looking for....Dennis.

Hammond put a hand on Henrys' shoulder to stop him for a moment.
"Wait...for a minute. I remember installing several tracking devices on the jeeps and the jets in case any went missing!"

Frank pulled back on the stick and climbed in altitude but looked back to look the sharptooth in the eye as he did he waved good bye as he climbed.
-
At the taunt, Sharptooth hunched slightly a growl forming in his throat which he let loose, "That doesn't even make sense!" he roared back, bark breath? What was he, some weak flattooth?!
He charged forward after the odd smelling flyer but it climbed to high for him.

"Y-you did?" Henry asked, "Well that's just...very useful" he smiled. Peter turned to the computers, "Oh boy, I know some stuff on computers and such, but...well maybe I can help you two out still, would we be able to know which Jeep was Mr. Nedry's...or right, the only stolen one" he corrected himself.

"Ok, we're gonna try this next" Dennis said, unaware of the flyer spying on him and taking a towing cable to wrap around a tree and maybe help him haul the jeep out. He began wrapping it around the trunk.

Longtail sat in the tree watching, but spoke into the mic,
"This is Red bird 2 to Leader, I found our target...what is the next course of action?" Unaware he'd spoken too loud.

Hammond smiled as he walked over to Henry and pushed several buttons on the computer console and on an adjacent screen several red dots appeared and an eighth showed up outside the complex.
"That's our missing jeep. Frank are you getting the signal we're sending you?" he quickly asked into the mic.

"Affirmitive Redbird 2 has spotted the target requesting next course of action,' frank said.
-
Hammond spoke into the Walkie Talkie, "Just follow him for the meantime Redbird 2. Wait until he reaches the boat and then confront him. We will have arrived by then!" he then turned to Henry and Peter and said, "Boys gear up...we're taking a tour."
-
"Copy that. shall I have the rest of my squad scramble to give me some back up in case Biosyn sends their own planes in,' frank asked.
-
Dennis glanced up as he heard the voice, or was it more of a sound? He couldn't tell. He glanced about, looking for the source. "W-who said that..." he said, trying to not look scared. He fumbled about in the jeep for a gun and found a tranquilizer one, pulling it and aiming it about in a circle just in case something or someone jumped out.
Finally giving up on the jeep, Dennis lowered his gun and, pulling and lugging the cooler out of the jeep, began to try and walk the rest of the way, just anything to get away from that one spot.

Frank continued flying toward the boat rolled over when he reach the area the boat was in and looked down while inverted.
-
Longtail was getting anxious, and he couldn't tell if it was because he'd almost been spotted or if it was because he was trying to be secret about this, but he had to admit...it was fun all the same. He decided to try his luck walking behind Dennis instead of flying for fear of the sound of his wings flapping might give him away.
He landed on the ground quietly and began to follow Dennis from the shadows. But he was being careful not to make a sound, cause from the look of the weapon Dennis had in his hands it could be fatal.

Henry and Peter nodded. "Boy" the teen said even as he made sure he had everything they would need on this 'tour', "I never thought I'd be helping track down traitors on this internship".
"This is another thing we are never telling your mother" Henry told his nephew. "Oh don't worry" Peter laughed, "When I didn't mention the raptor hatchling mishap, I think I learned how to keep a few secrets".

Lugging a cooler and trying to keep a tranquilizer gun at the ready for use was not an easy thing to do and so Dennis had to go with the gun being under one arm while he walked along toting the cooler.

Shaking his head and with a grown of annoyance, Sharptooth turned his attention from the metal flyer and sniffed the air for any catchable type of prey. He thought he caught a whiff of a two legger again, and moved off, following the trail.

"Any word on how things are going?" Mim asked.

Cyrix smiled and patted Mim on the back.
"Don't worry, as soon as something good or bad happens I'm sure we'll know about it."
-
"I hope it's the good rather then the bad." Mim said.
"I certainly do too." Diver said.
"Me too." Chomper said.
-
Frank rolled the plane back over and cruised at 15,000 feet while waited for hammond henry and peter to arrive.

Kit and the others nodded.
-
"Where are you now Hammond,' frank asked.
-
"Don't worry they'll be alright,' muldoon said to Mim. "I could also tell you a bit more about some of these planes my father flew the same type of planes frank took out,' muldoon said.

"Redbird 2 what is your current position,' frank asked longtail
-
Hammond reached for his walkie talkie and spoke aloud.
"We just reached the jeep hangar, and we are about to see if Dennis is still with the jeep he stole. How are things on your end Frank?" he asked curiously.

However at the same moment Longtail heard the same transmission and then waited til Hammond finished speaking and then replied, "I'm still following Dennis...I just hope he doesn't spot me....he has a long black stick with him....and it looks like he loaded a needle into it with a furry tip...is that bad?" Again though without realizing it Longtail was beginning to speak too loudly.

Cyrix was beginning to worry...he just couldn't understand why.

"Things are going good I'm holding position over the shipit is but it would be a good idea for you to reply more quietly,' frank said.

"And it doesn't look like he is..." Peter sighed to himself off what Mr. Hammond was telling Frank.

Spinning around, Dennis fumbled a bit yet set the cooler down and quickly pulled and aimed the tranquilizer gun, "Ah ha, I knew I as being trailed by...one of the kids" he broke off, noticing who it was.
"Well I still can't explain myself, so let your friends just find you later" he shot straight at where Longtail now was, since in all this fumbling and his words, the flyer had had time to move...

"Longtail get out of there now!,' frank shouted.

"This is not good,' muldoon said to cryix.
-
"What is going on?" Mim asked concerned.
"Is it bad?" Diver asked, also concerned.
"What?" Chomper asked.
-
"Longtail has been spotted and dennis has fired a tranquilizer dart at him and we don't know if it's hit longtail or not,' muldoon said.
-
Longtail saw Dennis aim the black stick at him and his eyes widened, then he heard Frank scream something like 'move' but the flyers body wouldn't move. And just as he was starting to realize how bad a situation he was actually in he saw a flash of light and felt the needle pierce his scales. He stumbled backwards for a moment before he regained his balance, and he narrowed his eyes in anger as the adrenaline began flowing through his body and momentarily fought off the effects of the tranquilizer dart.
He then stepped forward and screamed into the mic as he pounced at Dennis intent on at least breaking the metal stick he'd just shot him with.

Cyrixs' eyes widened at the news and for a single moment he couldn't feel anything, not anger, not sorrow, nothing. He turned to look outside the hanger doors and clasped his hand together hoping against hope that his nephew would be okay.

Hammond heard Longtail's screech over his walkie talkie and sighed.
"Frank where is Longtail's current position? I'm sending Peter and Henry to help him, while I get this jeep back to the compound."

"he is 32 meters south of the triceratops pen,' frank said. Frank heard the screaming and thought "Dennis is gonna get it now'.

Dennis couldn't have been more shocked by the little flyer's actions. He was suppose to go into hibernation and let Dennis escape, but instead the thing was launching itself straight at him! Preparing to fire again, though he was starting to worry about the fact that that wouldn't do anything...Dennis nonetheless couldn't even raise the gun properly as he struggled to keep Longtails' beak and claws at bay.
"You stupid...I wasn't gonna kill ya...you'd have woken up, just after I left..." Dennis tried to explain even as he struggled to keep Longtail at bay.

Tylr slowly walked over to where Cyrix was, "He--he'll be ok...I'm sure" the flyer tried to find for encouragement, but even he wasn't really sure.

Frank was silent as he continued flying his plane waiting for a response from longtail as to what was happening.

Mim went over to Cyrix and patted him on one of his shoulders, "I'm sure he'll be ok." She said.
"Gee." Chomper said, hoping Longtail was ok, but not sure what else to say, his hands going to the sides of his face & his face showing his fear for Longtail.
oh, no, no,no." Diver said, doing the same as Chomper did with her hands going on the sides of her face as her face showed fear for Longtail.

"He'll be ok,' muldoon said.

"I certainly hope so." Mim said still worried for Longtail.

"So do I,' muldoon said.
-
Longtail spat the gun out of his beak and latched onto Dennis' arm...but his strength was leaving him fast and he didn't know why, or what was causing it, but as his claws began to slip he bit Dennis around the neck as the tranquilizer took full effect and finally knocked the little flyer unconscious. His beak however remained stuck on Dennis' throat but not hard enough to draw blood.

Cyrix took a deep breath to try and calm himself, but after several tries his body was still shaking and trembling. "I-I can't...cannot lose him....I won't...I made....a promise to look after him."

Hammond was worried about the situation, but was sure that whatever happened it would all work out...or so he hoped.

"And you'll be able to keep that promise,' muldoon said.

"Redbird 2 can you hear me respond,' frank said.

"Maybe we all need to go out & rescue him." Mim said.

"Mr hammond the rest of us want to help go rescue longtail,' muldoon said over a walkie talkie.

"I say let them help john,' frank said.

Hammond's hands were tied as he answered.
"Alright, just be careful. If you find Longtail help him, but if you happen to find Dennis just keep him in place, don't hurt him." he spoke over the walkie-talkie.

Cyrix stepped forward and said, "Alright let's go, but how will we find them? I know for a fact that we can't run as fast as some of your metal 'cars'."

"GPS there is a chip in the jeep and on the radio if we can hurry we can reach where they are the cars are just this way,' muldoon said before walking off to the garage.

"Let's all go who want to help." Mim said. Diver started to run along and Mim picked her up since she'd travel faster being carried. Chomper ran along wanting to help also.
"Yea, we gotta go now." He said, wanting to leave immediately.
-
Muldoon reached the garage door first and propped the door open to let everyone else in and opened the back of a GMC 2.5 truck. "Ok since there isn't much room in the front most of you are gonna have to ride in the back,' muldoon said.

"Let's most of us get in the back then." Mim said going over to the back of the GMC truck that was open.
-
Frank continued flying around waiting for a report on longtail.

With a final half sigh, half cry of more frustration than real pain, Dennis swat the flyer away and off of him, watching as the creature fell to the floor. "Well...glad that's done" he said. He turned and picked up the cooler and tranquilizer gun again and went to head off again, when a slow thudding interrupted him.
Turning, Dennis watched a nearby footprint filled with water shake (ooc: and finally I can use the classic JP thingy :D). That didn't look like a good sign. The echoing roar of a Rex who'd locked more so onto his target he tracked sounded through the forest. Dennis knew he had to get out of there now.
Turning, yet less than graceful, Dennis fumbled to rush along the path with the cooler and dart, as he did so he noticed Longtail unconscious...he supposed it was bad to just leave him here to be helpless prey when he'd done it...and plus once his aim had been to secure a live speciman for Biosyn (ooc: I think).
Not sure which was the stronger reason, Dennis walked over and quickly slung Longtail across his shoulder before stumbling along again, the footsteps even now still trailing him. He heard Frank through the receiver and decided that the security personnel being able to track him was not a good thing, so he removed it and flung it upon the ground before continuing on.

Frank thought "If we can drive the ship off dennis will be stuck here'. "Hammond I have an idea about what to do with the ship,' frank said.

Hammond listened to Frank and said in reply, "What's your plan...chances are we will have to execute it, so let's hear it."

Cyrix climbed into the back of the jeep and then turned to help the others into the jeep as well before they pulled off.
"I do hope we get there in time. I don't want to think what might happen if we don't." he said with a sigh.

"Use training bombs and a Stuka to drive the ship away so dennis won't have a way off the island. If the engine is warmed up and the plane is placed on the aux runway now we can drive the ship away before dennis get to it,' frank said.

Muldoon also helped the other get in the back of the truck.

"What do you think about my idea hammond,' frank asked as he aeaded to the aux airstrip.

Hammond smiled at the idea.
"Yes very well thought...do it Frank, I'll make sure that...oh no." he said with a start as he looked at the monitor on his jeep.

The effects of the tranquilizer were beginning to wear off and Longtail could at least feel what was going on around him. It felt like he was being carried by something. but he was still to dazed to try and think about it.

"What is it,' frank asked while landing at the aux airstrip.

Mim picked up Diver & Chomper and helped them to get into the back before she went in herself, making sure others could get in themselves or had already gotten in.
-
Frank landed the P-47 and jumped out and ran to the Ju-87 Stuka which was on the taxi way with the engine running. Frank jumped in and was straped in by a mechanic after putting the head phones on he gave the mechanic a thumbs up telling him to get off the plane. Frank taxied the plane to the runway and firewalled the throttle after reaching the end of the runway and climbed to 20,000 feet and leveled off heading back toward the ship.

Muldoon helped everyone else into the back of the truck and did a head count. "Are we all here,' he asked.

"Chomper, Diver and Chomper are here." Mim said.
"Dropping stuff from the air is a swell idea. I remember that is how some of the flyers would drive off mean sharpteeth from the great valley sometimes, they certainly would." Diver said.

"Yeah and these kind of bombs don't hurt people since they don't have the explosive elements of regular ones,' muldoon said.
-
"Hammond what's your ETA to the ship,' frank asked.
-
"Muldoon are you ready,' frank asked.

"I think so,' muldoon replied

Hammond turned his walkie-talkie on and said aloud.
"We now have a bigger problem! Dennis is being hunted by the Tyrannosaur that got loose. Continue with your plan Frank...I'm going to see if I can stop the prey from being hunted."

"Alright let's get the party started,' frank said. Frank put the Ju-87 into a dive soon after he began his dive the Jericho Trumpets on the plane howled with anger letting everyone below on the ship know frank was comming.

"Stuka! Everyone take cover,' one of the men on the ship yelled after hearing the stuka diving.
-
Mim made sure Diver and Chomper had places to hold on to as well as herself when the vehicle started moving.
-
After helping the rest of the kids on the truck muldoon closed the back and got into the cab and drove off.
-
While diving frank dropped two of the dummy bombs which broke through the deck of the ship and landed in the cargo bay. Frank pulled out of the dive when he was on the verge of blacking out frank climbed back to 15,000 feet to dive back down on the ship again.

"What is it?" Peter asked, looking to the monitor of the jeep they were in. "Oh gosh...that is bad" he frowned as he heard what it was.
"Well, I'll scope him out when we get close enough to shoot" the teen said, grabbing a tranquilizer gun. "Now I have a millions things to worry about" Henry told Hammond, but he had faith Peter could do it, so long as he stayed near him and Hammond.

Meanwhile Dennis kept on amidst the stomping. "Stupid...cooler...it's slowing me down" he said, "but..I need it...or, maybe..." he looked to Longtail. "Yeah, the specimen will be enough" Dennis dropped the cooler and continued on without it.

Frank dived on the ship again and dropped the last two dummy bombs one of which hit the water and the other smashing through the bridge and down into a ballast tank.

"We must withdraw at once I only signed on for this because you assured me Ingen had no aircover,' the captian said to the biosyn employee that had talked to dennis.

"I hope he is not to far ahead." Diver said.

Hammond smiled as he watched the computer screen at Franks performance and it was going well.
"Good job Frank...just keep it up and the ship is bound to pull out any moment." He then raised his walkie-talkie and said to Henry and Peter, "You two be careful...and if you have to...sedate Dennis as well if he decides not to cooperate. Just be sure that if Longtail is with him, that he stays safe."

Longtail was still trying his hardest to fight the tranquilizer flowing through his system but he continued to slip in and out of sleep, his body not used to the chemical.

Cyrix who was seated in the back tried to make himself as small as possible so the others would have some room to move or breath, but it also served another purpose...keeping his body so stiff was helping not to show how scared he was for Longtail's safety as he fought back shaking with fear.

"Thanks I hope they pull out before I reach bingo fuel,' frank said pulling out of the dive.
-
"Do they know where they are?" Mim asked.
"It certainly would not help if we just go in random places." Diver said. "Certainly not.
-
"Where who are,' muldoon asked.
-
"Where Longtail and the one he was following is." Mim said.
-
'Yes we know where they are they are currently heading doward the docks. Frank is trying to drive the ship there off with a Stuka,' muldoon said.

Frank dived at the ship again at an angle and fired a few training rounds off at the hull of the ship.
-
Frank continued making passes at the ship firing the machine guns at the hull with the training rounds making dents in the hull.
-
Mim reached over to gently pat Cyrix, "Things will turn out ok." She said, trying to keep hi spirits up.
"Yea, just you want and see." Chomper said.
-
"It'll be ok frank will drive the ship off so dennis won't be able to escape,' muldoon said.
-
Sharptooth stopped by the jeep Dennis had just left, his prey was not to far he knew as he sniffed the item, he kept on.
"Guys, you there?" Dennis called to the boat once more, he got no response. Dennis sighed, "great, where could they be, we have a--".
A low growl behind Dennis stopped him and he turned, wide eyed, to face the Rex standing there just watching him for now.
"N-nice dinosuar..." Dennis slowly backed up.

Hammond could see everything that was happening at the docks and swiftly contacted Frank.
"We have a dangerous situation! Can you fire anymore ammunition at the T-rex? Please say yes!" he exclaimed rather loudly.

Despite still being groggy from the sedative, Longtail blinked his eyes open, and although he still couldn't see very well, he knew something was horribly wrong, as whoever was carrying him was shaking as if they were afraid.
"Oh this is bad." Commented Longtail as he had enough strength now to roll off of Dennis' shoulder and onto the ground.
Longtail stood up on shaky legs and said to Sharptooth, "H-hey ugly! Down here...ya big dummy! Come and get me!" And with that, Longtail flapped his wings and took to the sky hoping to keep Dennis safe despite what he'd done.

"Yeah i still got some ammo and the ship is moving away now,' frank said diving at an angle at the sharptooth with the Jericho Trumpets howling.

"Get us out of here now,' the captian of the ship said as the ship started to move away.
-
As frank was diving he saw longtail gaining some altitude enough to be in franks way. Frank turned in time to avoid colliding with longtail and got back in position and fired off a few rounds at the sharptooth as frank passed by the rear gunner also let loose a few pratice rounds at sharptooth.

Dennis was too focused on the Rex to even notice his 'specimen' running away...or maybe not so, he seemed to almost be diverting the Rex's attention yet Dennis couldn't think why. The portly computer technician half stumbled half ducked back though as a plane seemed to appear and fire at the Rex.
Sharptooth roared at the bites this metal flyer was able to deliver, a few drawing blood yet he ducked away from any large wounding ones. He roared and snapped at the plane as it flew by, then roared and snapped at Longtail, trying to figure out who to go after...the little live smelling flyer seemed to bite less in one pass, so he chose that one and began walking off after, trying to find Longtail once more.
"Peter, this is almost what a group of kids would come up with, and we are way to close" the teen glanced up at his uncle's criticism as he tied the other end of the rope to the other tree within the clearing the Rex was heading down. "Hey, once he trips maybe we can sedate him easier, and if it's simply brilliant I can't help it, I get it from my dad's side of the family" he grinned.
Henry frowned, "Well there's no need for insults" the teen's mother's brother said.
"L-look out" Henry yanked Peter back as the Rex stepped near where they were...and then Sharptooth felt himself tripping in a shocking way he felt was going to be embarrassing soon...with a loud thud he hit the ground amidst the trees.

"This is redbird leader the rex is down I will be remaining over the airspace until I have confirmation the rex is sedated since I still have enough fuel for 1 hour of flight time,' frank said.

Longtail heard Sharptooth fall, and as he turned around to make sure he ran head first into a tree knocking himself out and rolling backwards and under a nearby bush.
Cyrix watched from the truck which was parked a several feet back, but when he didn't see Longtail he began to panic and stepped out of the jeep and began calling for his nephew.
"Longtail? Longtail?! I know you can hear me....please, please answer me!!!"

Hammond saw everything from the control room and he gave a brief sigh as he saw teh rex fall.
"Alright boys! Sedate that rex so we can finally put this mess behind us....and bring Dennis in quickly!" He said aloud into his Walkie-talkie.

Mim stepped out. "Try to relax. I'm sure he's ok." Mim said. "He'll be here soon I'm sure." She said trying to keep Cyrix at least a little bit calm.

Cyrix takes a deep breath and hugged Mim.
"Thank you for trying to keep me calm. I just worry too much."

Mim hugged Cyrix back, "It is only natural that you do." She said smiling, "I'm sure he worries about you as much as you do about him." She said. "Its only natural that one worries about one that they care about."

"It looks like you guys have things under control, hammond requesting permission to RTB,' frank said flying over the site.

Muldoon drove up close to the spot where the rex fell.

Hammond heard Franks request and spoke into his walkie-talkie.
"I need you to do one more search around the island and see if you can find Longtail...he seems to be missing from what I can see on my monitor."

Cyrix smiled a bit.
"Yes, I suppose it is. Thank you again Mim." he said as he hugged her again.

"Copy that,' frank said as he began looking for longtail.
-
"Anytime." Mim says. Then she looks at Chomper, "Maybe Chomper can find Longtail or Dennis, by following their scent." Mim said.
-
"That's a good idea I'll search northwards the rest of you can split up and search in the other directions after the sharptooth is sedated,' frank said.
-
"That seems like a good idea,' muldoon said.

Frank continued flying looking out of the plane searching for longtail.
-
Mim went over to talk to Chomper about the idea. "It may be easier for use to find Longtail and Dennis if you could follow their scent and lead us to where they are." Mim said.
Chomper smiled at the idea and being able to help, "Sure, I can do that. I have a good sniffer." He said and Mim helped him to climb down. He sniffed around putting his nose close to the ground and then waved to the others, "This way." He said and started to run off, sniffing now and then to be sure he stayed on the route the scent trail lead to Dennis and Longtail.
"He has a very good sniffer, he certainly does." Diver said nodding from where she was still sitting in the back.

"Yeah I bet he does,' muldoon said.

Longtail was still out cold, but his tail was subconsiouslly tapping against a tree while dreaming about eating sweet bubbles.
Cyrix turned his head and asked, "Does anyone hear that...like a light tapping sound? Like a rock hitting a tree?"

Hammond continued to look upon the computer screen and hoped everyone was alright.

"Sounds like it may be over there, in the direction Chomper is more or less heading in." Mim said.
"I wonder what it could be, I certainly do." Diver said.
Chomper continued to lead the group following the scents of Longtail, and if he can smell it Dennis, going as fast as he could.

"Yeah well let's go see who it is,' muldoon said.

"Have you guys found longtail yet,' frank asked. As frank was flying he saw two old longnecks grazing on the tops of some trees in front of him as just as one of them looked up to see his plane "Woah look out,' frank shouted as he rolled over and flew upside down with the nose pointed up. Frank looked down at the old longneck and the two looked each other in the eyes after frank cleared what appeared to be the male longneck he righted his plane and continued flying north. Frank clasped his heart "Are you ok sir,' the rear gunner asked him looking back at frank. "Yes I'm alright Hans,' frank said still panting.

"Smells like we are getting close." Chomper said as he ran along.

Grandpa Longneck continued to watch the strange flyer go through the air.
"What a very strange flyer...I have not seen one like that in my life. But anything is possible." With that he continued to eat from the treetops.
Longtail was semi-conscious of his surroundings and he could feel certain parts of his body as the tranquilizer was finally wearing off. The most prominent was his tail, and although he wasn't sure where he was, or how he got there...he continued to tap his tail against the tree while he waited for help.
Cyrix was following Chomper close behind, knowing the little sharptooth could track almost anything, and he knew it would come in handy.
"How much farther Chomper?" he asked for a moment.

Peter took a bit more pleasure than Henry thought necessary in being the one to shoot and sedate the Rex, not in a morbid way but in the way that most teens didn't usually get to do such things.
"Alright, let's tie up what's dangerous" Henry said, "so that he will be easier to get to the pen for when we get the power back. "Scout for Dennis" he told Peter as he dealt with the Rex. The teen scanned about but couldn't spot him

Dennis used the opportunity of the Rex being taken care of to dart off through the trees. He'd lost both the blood samples and the specimen, and and he knew he needed at least one, so Dennis back tracked a bit in looking for at least the cooler he had before, after all he had time since nothing was hunting him anymore, he thought.

"If anyone can find Longtail again, Chomper can" Littlefoot tried to be optimistic for the others since he could already see some frowns of worry on some of the others faces. He paused, "You guys hear that?" He listened for the odd noise once more.

"It sounds like it's the way we're going and we are very close. We should be able to see one of them or both very soon." Chomper said.
"Let's continue, we should get to them quickly." Mim said.

"I'm close to the end of my fuel I think I see some thing it looks like a cooler or something better send some one to get it hammond,' frank said.
-
"We should head there. Or a group maybe. He may go back for that thing, whatever a cooler is." Mim said.
-
"I'm sending the exact location of the cooler to your GPS muldoon after you find longtail go straight there and if you see two brontosaurses while you're heading there be a bit careful they could be related to littlefoot if so let him talk to them,' frank said.

"Got it,' muldoon said reciving the data.
-
"Shall we head there?" Mim asked.
-
"We could split up half of you come with me to recover the cooler the other half stay with cryix to find longtail,' muldoon said.
-
"That could be an idea." Mim said thinking, "But who would go with which group?" Mim asked.
-
"I guess you guys could decide cause I don't have the fuel to remain over the area so I have to RTB to refuel I'll be back over the area after that,' frank said as he flew back to the aux airfield.
-
"Chomper should be one of the ones to go after longtail since he can find him with his sniffer and Cyrix I would assume would prefer going ofter Longtail also, how about the rest of you?" Mim asked.

"Well I'm gonna help Mr. Cyrix find Longtail" Kit said. "Yeah, Petrie too" Petrie nodded, "Dennis sound too scary and he be coming back for that thing me bet" he meant the cooler.
Cera frowned, "Well I'm not afraid, I'll come help find that cooler thing". "Yeah, same here" Cory said.

"Oh, where did I put that thing!" Dennis sighed as he continued to search among the bushes.

Peter kept scanning with his binoculars. "Still don't see him" he said. Henry stood from having roped down the Rex as best he could, "Ok Mr. Hammond, I think the Rex will stay down for a bit, I shot him with enough stuff to do the trick I think" he reported over.

Mim nods to the others as they said where they wanted to go, "Anyone in particular you want with you Cyrix?" She asked him.
-
"Well I do have a suggesttion littlefoot,cera petrie and cyrix could come with me and they rest could continue looking for longtail,' muldoon suggested.

"That sounds like an idea, what do the rest of you think?" Mim asked.
"It sounds like it may work, it certainly does." Diver said.
-
"What do you think about it cryix,' muldoon asked.

Frank landed at the aux airfield and got out of the plane.
-
Cyrix shook his head for a moment and looked around as he heard his name called, and he coughed for a moment as he cleared his throat and replied, "I'm sorry..it seems I've missed our conversation, I was...thinking to myself. I believe...I'd like to search for Longtail by myself if that is okay with you all." He said with a sigh. It's not that he didn't want help finding his nephew, it was simply that if he found Dennis before the others, he was bound to do something he might regret and didn't want them to see.
Longtail at this moment was finally coming around as the tranquilizer finally wore off. He blinked several times and stopped his tail from hitting the tree, as he stood up.
"Wow...I can't barely remember anything...I was following the human...and he must've heard me...and then...he shot me!" The young flyer took another look around to ensure he was safe, and once that was confirmed he sighed.
"S-so...it seems I'm alright...for now. But I've got to find my friends...I'm sure they are looking for me."

Hammond happened to be standing on the air field as Frank landed his fighter plane.
"Good to see you're alright. Don't worry about Longtail I'm sure the others will find him in time. Now you look tired, how about some hot food and a bed?"

"That sounds like exactly what I could use right now,' frank said.

"Are you sure you don't want any of us going with you?" Mim asked.
"If you are sure, I can smell Longtail and Dennis went that way." Chomper said and pointed in the direction where Longtail and Dennis had gone, still wanting to be of some help.

"Well maybe one or two of you kids in case we run into those two longnecks that frank saw,' muldoon said.
-
Cyrix gave a grim smile as he replied, "Thank you Chomper, you've been very helpful indeed." Then before anyone could try to stop him he took off running down the path Chomper had pointed out, hoping to find Dennis or Longtail...preferably both so he could make sure his nephew was alright, and give Dennis a proper thrashing.
Longtail had taken to walking across the ground in case there were any side effects of the dart. He was doing fine until he came across a pair of Longnecks he recognized.
"Hello Grandma and Grandpa Longneck. I didn't know you were here too." Commented longtail with a smile.
Littlefoots grandfather smiled as well.
"Good day to you to Longtail. I must say, we've had a rather peaceful time here, how has your time here been?" he asked with curiosity.
Longtail laughed and said with humility, "It is a very long story...and I'd like to find Littlefoot and the others before I tell you."

Hammond chuckled at Franks reply and lead the way back inside the building.

"Did you happen to see that strange buzzing flyer the flew overhead a while ago,' littlefoots grandmother asked longtail.

Frank followed and decided to go to his office before getting something to eat.

"Well, looks like he's off. Shall we be to?" Mim said.

Frank went to make sure his office was locked before going to the cafe.
-
Longtail smiled and replied, "Oh, that's Frank...uhhh which way did it go? I can take you there."
Grandpa Longneck looked confused as he heard Longtail's answer, but he did trust the young flyer so he simply nodded his head.
"It flew in that direction." he mentioned by pointing his head towards the center of the island.
"Okay...please follow me." said Longtail as he started walking back to the iNgen base.

Hammond was sitting in the mess hall drinking a cup of coffee as he waited for Frank to arrive.

Frank arrived and got a hamburger and a cola before sitting down next to Hammond.

"Yea, but which way should we go in?" Chomper asked.

Muldoon drove to the area where the cooler was with cera and littlefoot. "There it is,' muldoon said stopping the jeep and getting out to pick up the cooler.

By now Dennis was beyond completely lost. He must have gone the wrong way multiple times he figured.

"So wait, if Mr. Cyrix is finding Dennis and Longtail, then, who are we finding?" Ducky asked the others as they continued on, a bit lost.

"W-we're just leaving him here?" Peter asked his Uncle Henry as they got in the jeep while the tranquilized Rex was still roped down. "For now, while he's out, we have to check that his fence will be able to hold him again" Henry said, "but trust me he should be out for a while yet considering the dosage I gave him".
"Well maybe I should just stay behind and watch him incase he does wake up" Peter said, but Henry just gave him a look that said if that was the case then Peter wasn't going to be anywhere near the no doubt angered Rex. The teen sighed, "Fine", he climbed into the jeep and Henry drove off.

'We do need a goal and not just wondering around, that is certainly not good." Diver said.

Frank rubbed his ring finger "So hammond were you ever married,' frank asked.

Muldoon picked up the cooler and walked back to the jeep "Let's head back to the others,' muldoon said.

"We got the cooler hammond I'm just going to drop cera and littlefoot off with cyrix then head back to the base,' muldoon said on his walkie talkie to hammond.

"Let's get going." Mim said.

Muldoon drove until he found cyrix and the others. "We're back and we have the cooler,' muldoon said.

"Yep" Henry finally concluded, "that'll hold the Rex. Now lets get to seeing about getting him back to it".

Meanwhile, the form of tranquilization was very effective in that it had kept Sharptooth down, but being a meat eater who had survived a great earthshake, it wasn't as effective as it would have been for others, and one eye opened as he took in his surroundings.

"If I hit a nerve I'm sorry,' frank said wondering if he had hit a topic that hammond didn't like to talk about.

Hammond chuckled lightly as he took his eyesight off his empty mug of coffee.
"I'm sorry Frank, I didn't mean to ignore you...just had to finish my coffee...priorities first you know!" He then smiled and said, "As a matter of fact Frank my wife was the single most loving woman you could hope to meet in a single lifetime...or two even. But even all the love in the world can't stop a deadly disease. I loved her and she supported me...that was all I ever wanted and needed." he finished with a content sigh.

Cyrix by this point had calmed down and was thinking rather clearly as he turned to Muldoon and said, "Very good Muldoon. Now does anyone have any clues as to where Dennis or Longtail could possibly be? I am beginning to worry again and I don't know what might happen to either one of them."

After a rather large trek Longtial had finally reached the main base along with Grandma and Grandpa Longneck. He smiled as he said aloud, "well...here we are...finally."
Grandpa Longneck had to chuckle however as he asked, "Whats the matter, you aren't tired are you? You're a hatchling..you shouldn't be tired until the bright circle falls from the sky."
Longtail yawned once more and said, "It is a very long story...and I am a bit tired, but if we stand here long enough someone will come and see us inside...I hope."

Chomper sniffed around, changing his position several times. "It kinda smells like Longtail is over that way and Dennis is over that way." Chomper said, pointing in different directions as he said each name.
"Maybe that means Longtail got away." Mim said, hoping it would raise Cyrix's spirits and help him to feel better."
"That would be good, that is certainly it would." Diver said nodding.

"Yeah I also lost my wife due to cancer just after our 20th anniversary before I was deployed over seas to fight in vietnam,' frank said.

A mechanic was working on one of the planes when he saw longtail and the two longnecks "Mr hammond how is it that the dinosaurs know where our base is,' he said over a walkie talkie.

Sharptooth wiggled and struggled, becoming more agitated at his movement being hindered, yet finally, with a final jerk up, some of the ropes snapped. His head was free and he quickly roared his anger as he continued straining the ropes, more of his front coming free.

Dennis froze at the sound of the Rex's call sounded out across the area. He frantically began looking for a tree or something since that sounded close.

"It does sound promising" Kit smiled. She then thought on who to track though, "Well, if Longtail's ok...then it would be ok to let Dennis go, wouldn't it...I mean, if he can't do anything more, right?" she asked.

Chomper sniffed. "I smell Littlefoot's Grandparents that way too." Chomper said, "The same direction I smell Longtail to be in. Maybe they are pretty close." He said.

"Oh, wow, they're here too!" Kit sounded happy. "I won't be too sad though if Cera's dad isn't" Cory said to himself with a chuckle. Cera heard him though and frowned his way.

"Let us go over and say hi. It sounds like fun, it certainly does." Diver said nodding.

Hammond reached for his radio clip on his belt and asked the mechanic,
"Send them into the hangar...and introduce youself...even if you can't understand them. Trust me...it will be a lot easier once they're inside and we can all talk."

Longtail was sitting down at this point and he could clearly see the mechanic from where he was. "I hope he's calling for help or something."
Grandpa Longneck had to laugh as he replied, "I'm sure whatever he's doing...he's doing it as fast as he can Longtail, no need to worry, we aren't in any danger yet, so just try to be still."

the mechanic walked up to longtail and grandapa and grand ma longneck. "This way please Mr Hammond and Mr Anderson will join you in the hanger monentarly,' the mechanic as he started to walk to the hanger then stopped to see if they were following him and he motioned to them to follow him.

"It looks like he wants us to follow him,' grandma longneck said.

Mim nods, "Yes, we should head over there I think. What do the rest of you folks think?"

With a final tug, and roar that wasn't very covert, Sharptooth sniffed and smelled one of the annoying two leggers, the same creatures who had tripped and bound him in the first place, not to mention that biting enclosure of theirs. He ploddingly headed off in that direction before he caught the sent of more familiar meat and paused undecided on which way to go...

Longtail nodded in response to Grandma Longneck comment.
"yep..thats what he said." the young flyer then fell into step inbetween the two longnecks.
Grandpa was rather curious as to how he could understand these new creatures without having met them before. But he was sure that if Longtail trusted them then it was safe.

"Ok everyone in the truck so we can get there quickly,' muldoon said.

Chomper, Mim, & Diver went of to the truck. Mim started helping Chomper and Diver into the truck.

Muldoon also started to help the others into the truck.

"Wow, all this not having to fly or run is sort of neat" Kit had to admit, getting into the truck again, she noticed how Petrie was still a bit hesitant about landing in it, but he did so.

Deciding to not let an easy meal get away, Sharptooth turned in the direction of the lone two legger and began to walk after where the scent lead.

"Is everyone inside?" Mim asked as she looked around to see if everyone was inside or if anyone had not yet gotten in or been helped into the truck.

Muldoon did a head count. "Yep it looks like we're all here,' muldoon said.

Mim gets into the back of the truck since everyone is already inside. "Good, maybe we should be off." She said.
"Yea, it'll be neat to see them again and hear some of the stories Grandpa Longneck tells. " Chomper says smiling at the memory of some of his stories the had heard him tell.
"They are neat, they certainly are." Diver said nodding.

"Yeah, and I feel better that they're here too" Cory said. Kit nodded.

"Alright then let's get back,' muldoon said starting the truck and driving to the aux airfield.

"I do hope they are coping all right, I certainly am." Diver said.
Mim patted Diver's back, "I'm sure they both are doing ok." Mim said.

"It shouldn't take to long it's close by just over that hill,' muldoon said.

"Yea, we'll be there in no time." Chomper said, eager to get to where Littlefoot's grandparents are.

While frank and hammond were walking to the hanger frank finished his hamburger and drink. "So if these are littlefoot's grandparents I wonder what they're like,' frank said.

"They are big, they certainly are." Diver said nodding.
"Yea, and grandpa longneck likes to tell stories and good ones too." Chomper said, smiling at the memory of having heard some of his stories.

"Here we are,' muldoon said driving out of the bushes into view of the aux airfield.

Hammond smiled at Frank.
"If theses are Littlefoots grandparents then they should be just like me...old and friendly!" he then chuckled as he punched the code in to open the hangar doors.
Longtail could see the doors starting to open and he smiled as he knew the face on the other side was bound to be friendly.

"We got back very fast, we certainly did." Diver said.
"Yea, it's neat to go this fast." Chomper said smiling and liking the speed.
"Yes, it is certainly faster and more handy then walking or running everywhere." Mim said.

"Yeah that is also good i may seem like a grumpy old man on the outside but I have a softer side to me,' frank said chuckling.

"Oh boy, are we glad to see you guys!" Kit said. Littlefoot immediately rushed up to nuzzle both of his grandparents legs. "Grandma, Grandpa, I'm so happy you're ok too!" he said.

"Um, Uncle Henry..." Peter's voice trailed off and made Henry turn to the teen. "Remember that tracking chip we put on the unconcious Rex just in case...it's moving now" Peter said. It took Henry a moment to realize what that meant. He pulled his radio, "Mr. Hammond, we might have a bigger problem than originally thought. I've noticed the Rex's fence is good to hold it now, but the anesthetic apparently wore off, he's up and moving again, or atleast his trail on the tracking chip is, he's off in the woods just a bit from the hanger".

Meanwhile, as he ran from the thuds of feet behind him, Dennis Nedry had no idea he was running straight towards the people he''d want to avoid, Hammond and the others, nor that once he reached the clearing he would reach them.

"I am glad to see you, I certainly am." Diver said as she clapped her hands and looked up at Littlefoot's grandparents.
"Yea, me too." Chomper said looking up at Littlefoot's grandparents.
Mim smiled a bit at the sight of Littlefoot's grandparents. "It is good to have more of us together in 1 place." Mim said.

As the hanger door opened littlefoots grandma turned to the door as it finished opening and watched as frank walked into the hanger before hammond. "Who are you two,' she asked.

"I am retired General Frank Anderson though I'm now mostly know as frank or my call sign "Raptor" but my more closer friends call me by my given name Hans,' frank said.

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you mr Anderson,' littlefoot's grandma said.

As Dennis reached the area where the longnecks and others were visible, he skidded to a halt, "Wrong way..." he turned to run the other way...then heard the Rex...and darted off to the right.
As they stood there, Cory spotted the human eitherway, "There he is!" he pointed. He then picked up on the slowly approaching thudding and wondered what it was.

Cyrix was aware of several things in a matter of moments. As he first stepped out of the jeep he spotted his nephew safe for the moment and rushed forward to hug the little one. However as he continued to hug Longtail he also heard Cory's statement and turned his head and narrowed his eyes for as he indeed saw Dennis running away from their general area, but then he noticed the ground was shaking.
For a breif moment Cyrix and Longtail exchanged glances and after putting Longtail on the ground they both turned to Frank and Hammond and began to run towards the hanger.
Grandpa Longneck was still releaved to have his grandson here with them safe and sound.
"I am so glad you are safe Littlefoot...I'm sure it must've been quite an adventure for you here." He then too noticed the ground shaking, and realizing that everyone here was standing still he began to worry. "I have a very bad feeling..." he said almost at a whisper as he turned to see Dennis Nerdy running away from their group.
"I do wonder where he is going?" the elderly Longneck asked aloud.
Hammond who had just stepped outside with Frank reached down and retreived his walkie-talkie as he heard Henry's voice over the other end, and upon hearing the news immediately frowned as he said, "Oh...not good! Get back here as soon as you can! If we can get everyone inside then we may be able to raise the electrofied gates around our main facility and hold him off! GET BACK HERE NOW!"

"Quick everyone get inside. It'll be safer in there if that shaking is caused by what I think it is." Mim said picking up Diver & maybe some of the smaller kids as she started inside.
"It certainly does not sound like anyone nice." Chomper said as he ran beside Mim.

"I'll give you guys some cover just get the kids inside first,' frank said running ahead a bit with a tranquilizer gun to cover everyone.
-
"Right sir" Henry ended the transmission as he and Peter had already hoped into the jeep they took to the gate.
"Will we make it back in time?" Peter asked. "Of course" Henry answered, not as confident as he tried to sound. He had figured out a few short cuts though and did quickly end up at an exit to the clearing right by Dennis Nedry.
"Hang on there Mr. Nedry" Peter reached out and grabbed the man's shirt, "Come on, you can come to safety in the hanger and then explain yourself" he smiled.
"Fat chance kid" Dennis wrestled his way free of the grip the teen had on his shirt and rushed off.
"but Mr. Nedry!" Peter called after him. Nedry, on the other hand, was so determined that he wouldn't be explaining anything, and confounded by his failers that he failed to notice when he rushed straight to where the Rex was...and became the first quickly dealt with victim.
Peter and Henry both turned aside as Henry quickly drove on into the hanger.
As everyone entered and the door was closed, Henry sighed as he and Peter got out of the jeep. "We...lost Nedry" he said simply.
"He wouldn't even let me help him inside..." Peter sounded confused and shocked by such.

"Terrible." Was all Mim could say, Diver & Chomper hugging her and glad they and the others in the jeep were safe at least.

Frank slammed his fist into the side of one of the planes. "It's good that you guys are safe but at the same time sad that dennis wouldn't listen when you were trying to warn him,' frank said.

Longtail's face darkened as he said aloud, "He got what he deserved...nothing more." Then he sat down and closed his eyes.
Cyrix sighed as he heard about Dennis and then Longtail's statement.
"No...that wasn't what he deserved Longtail, he had a chance to live...and he should've taken it. I may have been angry at him, but even my anger would have given away soon, but now we'll never know why he did what he did...but...I am glad to know that everyone is safe."
Hammond chuckled for a moment as he wasn't really listening to the others for a moment and he pushed a red button on a control switch he had in his hand and an alarm sounded as a large metal and electric gate was raised around the entire Ingen complex.
Grandpa Longneck frowned as well.
"Everything happens for a reason. And while Dennis' reason wasn't exactly clear, I would hope he at least had a chance to understand that his choices were his own."

"Yeah so do I,' frank said in agreement.

Muldoon walked up to frank "are you ok,' he asked. "Yeah I think so,' frank said removing his hand from the dent made in the plane. "Frank you're bleeding,' muldoon said. Frank took a look at his knuckles "it seems that I am there's a med kit over on that wall,' frank said.

Peter just sat there shaking his head, "Was he that afraid of getting yelled at?" he asked, knowing no one would know the answer.
Kit walked up to where Longtail was, "It's...ok that you thought that though, I think" she admitted, "I mean...he did kidnap and shoot at you. Still...I wouldn't have minded him letting us save him".
"What about whatever he stole?" Peter next wondered, "could whoever he was contacting still get that?".

Mim thought that over, "I guess it depends if he had it on him at the time or if he dropped it during is traveling around or before..." She said avoiding saying what happened to Dennis.
"It's a big area he wondered around in. If he did drop it could we even find it?" Chomper asked waving his arms a bit in his not knowing where to start looking. "We'd have to look over ever spot he traveled on."
"Do we know what he may have stolen? I certainly do not." Diver said shaking her head.

"The only thing that we know he stole were the samples of DNA from the cooler,' frank said as muldoon got the med kit.

"Maybe that is all he could get." Chomper said.
"I guess nothing else obvious is missing." Mim said.

'Well we don't know yet,' frank said as muldoon cleaned his wound with disinfectant before bandaging it.

Muldoon looked at the plane "you know you left a dent in the plane,' he said. "I'll fix it later,' frank said.

"Maybe you can fix the dent before those other guy come." Ducky said.
"I bet they are a bunch of bossy busybodies anyway." Cera said, annoyed at the idea of them.

"It'll be fixed before they get back,' frank said.
-
"That is good, it certainly is." Ducky said nodding.

"Well it's a easy fix so it won't take long to repair it,' frank said.
-
"That is good to hear. I'm glad it is a simple thing to fix and your hand was not to badly injured." Mim said.

"Yeah that is good that I didn't hurt my knuckles too bad,' frank said.

"How will you fix the dent?" Mim asked.
-
"I'll just take the piece off and hammer it back in place,' frank said. "I was wondering did you want to know about some famous ships that humans have built to sail the seas,' frank asked.

Outside, Sharptooth continued to roam and stalk about, yet couldn't find a way into the hanger. He roared and butted the door.
Kit and Petrie flinched and moved back towards the others. "H-he can't get in right?" Cory checked.

"Mim nodded, "It does sound interesting." She said to Frank.
"I certainly do hope that holds up." Diver said looking over in the direction of where the noise was coming from from the sharptooth's impact with fear in her expression.

He won't get in those doors a five feet thick with a layer of cement inbetween 5 layers of steel,' frank said to diver. "One of the ship I was talking about was called Titanic it was called the ship of dreams I've only seen pictures and movie of it but it was truely one of the most beautiful ocean liners ever built,' frank said.

"Yeah my grandfather told me about the titanic,' muldoon said.

Hammond who up till this point had been listening to the others talk, began to laugh rather loudly as he could still hear Sharptooth trying his hardest to bash down the giant metal doors in his way.
Cyrix looked over first and couldn't help but ask, "Excuse me Mr. Hammond, but what exactly is so funny?"
Even Grandpa Longneck had to look over to see what the commotion was about.
Longtail however was far more interested in hearing about the Titanic.
"oohhhh tell me more...like if it was so great, then why isn't it still being used? Did something bad happen to it?" he asked curiously.

Diver looked at the laughing Hammond. "Maybe he remembered a very funny joke or story." Diver said.
"Maybe, or it may be something else." Mim said, thinking it was something other then a funny joke or story.

"It sank on it's maiden voyage after hitting an iceburg,' frank said.
-
"That sounds awful." Chomper said, his feelings plain in his voice.
-
"It was from what I've read about it and heard about it from my mom it was,' frank said.

Longtail frowned. "But why didn't anyone try to warn the ship?"
Hammond finished laughing and pushed a button. The door outside became electrified and he could hear Sharptooth roar in pain and Hammond then continued laughing. "And who says pushing a button can't be fun!"
Cyrix smiled slyly as he heard Hammond's comment.
"Very good Mr. Hammond, very good!"

"So now the mean ol sharptooth will feel more pain if he tries to get in? I certainly hope he goes away." Diver said.

With a final roar, Sharptooth did lumber off.
"if I know him though he won't stay gone" Cory muttered. "He might, that had to hurt alot" Kit offered optimistically.

"People did try and even though there was ice in the area the Captian was ordered by the Chair man of the White Star Line to go faster and later that night the ship hit an iceburg and sank of the 2,223 people on board only 706 survived the ship didn't have enough lifeboats for everyone on board it only had enough for half of the people on board and most of them were lowered half full,' frank said. "The disaster brought new changes in the safety of ships which included that ship must have enough lifeboats for everyone onboard,' frank said

"That is horrible, it certainly is." Diver said, the shock and sadness obvious in her voice.
"Yea, it is." Chomper said also sad at the story.
"Sounds like some suffered due to greed." Mim said, shaking her head sadly.

"It somewhat was cause of greed it was one of the most tragic disaster in human history It was mostly third class passengers and crew that died,' frank said.

"Third class? Are they a different type of humans like we have flyers and swimmers?" Kit asked the humans, "what makes them third class and are there other...classes?".
"It...no" Peter answered her, "the only thing that makes the distinction there is now much money, or green stuff that's not food, they get for their jobs, and then some of the first class people's grandparents and such made so much that the first class of that time didn't have to work and just had the green stuff which they thought made them better than the people who didn't have as much". He smiled, "good thing you dinosaurs don't have that, you probably all threat eachother the same and we could learn alot from you huh?" the teen asked.
Cory frowned, "Not really...there's still alot of threehorns who think swimmers and flyers aren't as good as them and other kinds think the same about others, it's not just threehorns, I just...said that one" he shrugged.
Peter frowned and nodded, "Yeah, we humans know about that one too"

"Yeah when I first arrived in america in 1926 after moving from Germany we didn't have a lot of money it wasn't until I join the military that when my family got more money from my paychecks before that they only money we got was from my paper route which wasn't much but it was enough,' frank said.

Longtail frowned.
"Things like that shouldn't happen. Greed makes everyone look bad...even when it's done for something good, something bad is always bound to happen."
Grandpa Longneck nodded.
"You have a very good point Longtail. But sometimes greed can be used to see who you can and cannot trust as well."
Cyrix sighed. "Well despite the speciesism we dinosaurs do tend to get along as best we can where ever we gather."

"Greed is not good, no, no, no." Ducky said, shaking her head and her tone of voice showing she did not agree.
Littlefoot nods, "Cera's dad doesn't like non threehorns much, but he'd not let any get hurt by a mean sharptooth or anything like that." Littlefoot said.

"Yep, that he does" Tylr added with a smile, "I'll still never forget the time he saved Mr. Clutail on our way to the Great Valley and for the whole rest of the trip tried to convince him he didn't. It went from 'thankyou' to 'I'm not a liar!'".
"Well of course my dad looks out for others" Cera said, "he's the leader too along with Littlefoot's grandparents" she nodded to Grandma and Grandpa Longneck, "It's what he's suppose to do".

"Well things have improved since then but there are still some countries that opress their citizens,' frank said.

"O-press?" Kit asked, "what's that? and if you don't mind Mr. Frank, what's a...country?".
-
"A country is like a big valley with a very big population and opress is when a ruler takes the right of his or her citizens away,' frank said.

"Hmm, interesting." Mim said, as she learned the new words.
"O-press sounds bad. Like a very bad leader." Diver said nodding.

"'it is really bad and it's not the best form of government,' frank said.
-
"Democracy is usually the best government,' frank said.
-
"What is Demo...kraky?" Ducky asked, not having heard that word before.
-
Hammond answered.
"A Democracy is where everyone in any one place like a nation, or your case a herd comes together and gives their thoughts on who they feel is the best to lead."
Longtail smiled, "Oh I get it now...well that does sound like the best kind of gov...or...ment to me!"
Grandpa Longneck nodded "Yes, that does sound quiet a lot like what we do in the valley when ideas or issues arise."

"That does sound best, though I would assume the one who is able to sway the most due to the way they speak, their looks, force of personality may end up with a larger say then they should." Mim said, thinking over what had been said about what Democracy was.

"Yeah" Tylr sighed, "of course charm can talk people into bad ideas, but still sounds like you humans have a herd alot like the way ours works".
"and in your herd I'm sure you let kids have a say too, don't ya!" Cory grinned.
Peter laughed, "Not really, you can't vote on leaders or anything until your eighteen, which is like the end of adolescent, so when your an adult".
Cera frowned, "Figures".

Longtail just smiled.
"Oh please Cera, like you really didn't see that answer coming. I thought you were smarter than that."
Cyrix sighed as he stepped inbetween Cera and Longtail.
"Now, now, don't start arguing again you two." he said with caution.

"Yes," Mim said agreeing with Cyrix. "Yes, I do believe we have more then enough problems so we don't need to add to them." She said.
-
"Yes charm can have some bad side affects at times when it's a bad leader doing it heck even when a good leader is doing it it can be bad,' frank said.

"Yes..." Tylr agreed, nodding. He looked thoughtful yet soon pushed the moment aside.
Cera had frowned. Deeply, yet then Cyrix stepped between. "Well I didn't see you noticing the answer either" was all Cera said, yet it was enough to feel she'd won the argument.
"Listen..." Cory said, "I...I don't hear sharptooth anymore, do you think it's safe?".

"Were you wanting to know more about the plane I was flying when I flew by you,' frank asked grandpa longneck.
-
Grandpa longneck nodded to Franks question and replied,
"Yes as a matter of fact I would enjoy seeing and learning more about it. Please lead the way."
Longtail frowned and just turned his back to Cera.
"I still won." he said under his breath.

"Hopefully he as wondered off somewhere. But we'll have to keep the look out so if he should decide to return." Mim said.

Cera frowned again. "H-ey" Littlefoot cut in, distracting her again, "Cera, if one of the humans unlocks the door, since that's unfair, I bet you could head butt the small one open" he indicated to where a storage door or something lay.
"Why sure I could" Cera walked out, nose in the air. Peter smiled and unlocked the door.
"I know" Littlefoot whispered to Longtail, "it's gonna send her pride through the sky puffies, but atleast she'll forget your current argument".
Cera geared up and then charged the door, hitting it and more denting it than knocking it off, but the door buckled and there was a hole on either end for atleast the kids to squeeze through.
Henry smiled at Grandma and Grandpa Longneck, "and I'll get to opening the big door so you guys can get out too" he said.

"The Junkers Ju-87 Stuka was the plane that I flew by you,' frank said. "It was designed as a dive bomber to support the German army it has many features the make easy to id it such as the fixed landing gear and the infamous wind sirens the sounded when the plane was in a dive,' frank said.

"That was very good, it certainly was." Diver said to Cera, nodding her head.
"Yea." Chomper said.

Frank looked at the storage door "Impressive very impressive,' he said.

"Her father taught her how to that." Diver said.

Longtail smiled, as he had to admit Littlefoot was right about Cera's pride...and he was indeed impressed with the way Cera dented the door. "Well I certainly can't do that. Good job Cera!" commented Longtail with sincerity in his voice.
Grandpa Longneck nodded his head after hearing about the plane Frank had flown earlier. "Well those siren sounds it made must have given whoever it was attacking a great deal of warning." he said with a smile as Frank opened the large hanger doors.
Hammond saw the dent Cera had caused to the door and merely chuckled.

"Thge siren was really used more to terrorize the the poeple that the plane was targeting than to warn them,' frank said.

"I guess like some large sharpteeth roar to scare the ones they are hunting." Diver said.

"I guess you could say that,' frank said.

As they walked out with the dinosaurs, Henry smiled over at Hammond, "redmind me to buy heavy armor for the next time the Triceratops might need check ups and such...if this is what the kids can do!"
"You could probably beat up a rhino couldn't you?" Peter asked. Cera frowned, "What's a rhino".
"Um...a four legged creature with saggy skin and two horns on it's nose".
"probably what Cera's dad would look like when he got even older older. Lost horns and more saggy" Cory whispered with a grin. "Cory..." Kit half scolded, yet smiled.

Longtail couldn't help but chuckle at the comment Cory made, but made sure to keep quiet so Cera wouldn't hear him.
Cyrix however thought about what Henry had said and nodded.
"I have no doubt that Cera could beat a rhino...in fact I'd bet several treestars on it."
Hammond smiled at Franks suggestion.
"That does indeed sound like a good idea. I wouldn't want to see what Cera father would do to our doors." he said with another smile.

"Maybe break down a wall." Mim said looking at one of the walls not to far off.
"I am certain that he could, I am." Diver said nodding.
"It would not surprise me." Chomper said.

"Yeah I wouldn't to see what he could do either,' frank said.

"I bet it would be messy." Chomper said.

"It would most likely be very messy,' frank said.

"Yes, very messy." Diver said nodding.

"Hey, it just goes to show you don't mess with threehorns" Cera said to the humans discussion.
Peter (ooc: Did I have him or Henry say it? Oh well) turned to Cyrix surpried, "Oh I wasn't serious" he smiled, "but if we ever do find a rhino...you're on" he said.

"A rhino sounds similar to a threehorn, in at least some ways." Mim said, thinking.

Hammond chuckled.
"Indeed a rhino is very similar to a three horn with a few small differences. A rhino only has two horns one bigger than the others...they also don't have a protective frill on their head, and even when fully grown, they are the same size as a threehorn."
Grandpa Longneck laughed for a moment.
"Well now, it sounds to me like this rhino could give Mr.Threehorn a challenge."

"I wonder how well they'd get along." Mim said thinking out loud.

Cyrix laughed at Mims comment.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to laugh, but I doubt that would happen. You know how upset Mr.Threehorn gets about newcomers to the valley, and this rhino would certainly seem to upset him...being another horned creature."

"I wonder if they'd bump heads." Mim said.

"They'd probably end up yelling at eachother, but...isn't that how Mr. Threehorn gets along with others?" Kit asked, not really trying to be funny or smart but in genuine childish curiosity of what she'd seen.
Cera frowned back at her and then the others, "Yeah well, that rhino would still have less horns so he'd have to watch out for me and my dad".
"You and your dad?" Petrie asked, "Me would think just your dad, since you lots smaller than...".
"No! Me and my dad, got it!" Cera turned and shouted before walking on.
"Y-eah, me got it" Petrie said.

Longtail laughed at Petrie's remark about Cera.
"Yeah, you could help your dad Cera, but Petrie does have a point...you are sill alot smaller...you might get hurt."
Cyrix wisely stepped away from his nephew just in case Cera decided to respond with her horn.

"What should we do next?" Diver asked, to try to change the subject, and she was curious as to what they'd do next.

"Well, I know we should probably see about getting that Rex back where he belongs" Henry said, "as for you kids..." he thought.
"If it was safe, and you and Mr. Hammond agreed, I could take them on a tour of more of the plains we have about for the herbivores" Peter offered, "maybe they'd see more folks they knew".

"Maybe Littlefoot's Grandparents, if they are not to big, may like to see some of that also." Mim said. "Unless they'd rather rest here a while."

"While you two are doing that Muldoon and I will get that rex back in his pen,' frank said to henry.

"I hope you do not get hurted." Diver said to Frank.

"Don't worry we'll get back safely,' frank said.

"I certainly hope so." Diver said.
"I'm sure they will." Mim said and patted Diver on the shoulder with a finger or 2.
"Yea, and think of the great story they'll have to tell." Chomper said happily.

"It'll be another story to add to my long list of stories,' frank said.

"certainly, one you can tell at night when you tell scary stories." Diver said nodding.
"Ohh, those can be fun to hear. But I also like Grandpa Longneck's stories." Chomper said.

"I guess you could say that,' frank said.

Peter laughed at the kid's antics, which seemed the same as any human kid given the way they were talking about their scary stories. "Well there's a few spots around here even that are supposed to be haunted, and it has nothing to do with living dinosaurs" the teen told them. "Maybe we'll get to it on the tour".

"haunted? sounds cool." Diver said.

"We should get going now,' frank said. "Right we should,' muldoon said. The two got into a jeep with their guns.

Peter laughed, "I'm guessing that's where you guys want to go next then?".
"No" Petrie shook his head. "Sure!" Kit and some of the others said.

"It could be fun." Diver said. "What do the rest of you think?" She asked looking around a the others present.

Grandpa Longneck nodded and replied, "Why yes, an open field sounds like wonderful."
Longtail gave a sly smile as he said, "Oh you can bet I'm up for the haunted trip!" he then turned to Petrie and said, "Come on, don't you want to be brave like your uncle Pterano?"
Cyrix had to agree with Littlefoots grandparents, "I too would prefer the quiet open field if that's okay."

"It sounds like we'll have to go in either 2 groups, or take turns going to each place." Mim said.

"That could work,' muldoon said. "Well we'll be going now see ya later,' frank said driving off.

"Well I'm a mature adult who should be beyond such kiddie stuff as haunted buildings and what not so I'll take the others to the field" Henry offered.
Tylr and Petrie's mom were of course still with the adults and at Longtail's try, Petrie's mom had to sigh, "Actually all that talk is just...".
"Shh!" Tylr cut in, "He's making a point" he grinned, "nevermind if half the stories in reference are fake, and I'm all for this quiet field as well" he told Henry.
Petrie frowned a bit more at what Longtail said, "Well...yeah...but that always sound better when me saying it and not when it here".
"But just think Petrie, he could be here too and then you'd get to tell him all about it" Kit tried to back up Longtail's try.
The little flyer sighed, "O-ok, but we leave out any screaming me might do, K?" he asked Longtail and Kit.
"It's a deal" Kit grinned.
"Ok, come on we can use the other jeep" Peter said, leading the way over.

"We should be comming up on him soon,' muldoon said. "Well i sure hope so,' frank said.

"So are we going in 1 group or 2?" Chomper asked looking at some various folks present.

Cyrix chuckled at Chompers question.
"Well it seems to me that we need to break into two groups if we all want to see what we would like. Isn't that right Mim?"
Longtail sighed.
"Can we just go please?"

"Do you mind if I start singing,' frank asked muldoon. "Not I don't,' muldoon replied. Frank started singing a song called Blood on the Risers made popular by the US Army Airborne. "He was just a rookie trooper and he surely shook with fright, he checked off his equipment and made sure his pack was tight, he had to sit and listen to those awful engines roar, you ain't gonna jump no more,' Gory, gory, what a heck of way to die. Peter laughed, "Ok, yeah sure, all hatchling seeing the haunted places except those pulling out, follow me and everyone taking the boring plains walk is with my Uncle Henry".
"Ya coming?" Kit asked Petrie with a smile as she started to follow Peter. The little hatchling sighed, "Oh...yeah me coming" he followed.

Mim nods, "That does seem like the best solution, 2 groups." She said.

'I though you were a fighter pilot,' muldoon said. "I went with them because I was doing a mission for the OSS,' frank replied.

We should be comming up on the rex soon get ready,' frank said to muldoon.

Longtail suddenly had a question.
"Uhhh..even if we split into two groups...how are we going to get there? I doubt those fast moving j-eep things can carry Littlefoots grandparents." He then looked up to the two elderly longnecks. "Uhhh no offense." he commented with a smile.
Grandpa Longneck nodded as he replied "None taken little one. But he is right, exactly how far is the open field you mentioned?"

As frank was driving muldoon looked over the bushes on the left and saw the rex. "There he is,' muldoon said. "I see him hold on,' frank said making a sharp left turn with muldoon looking down the scope and aiming the gun.

"maybe since they can not fit in the jeeps, maybe instead they can carry the humans, if they do not mind." Diver said.
"It may work. What do you folks think?" Mim said looking up at LIttlefoot's Grandparents.

Grandpa Longneck thought about Diver's suggestion. After a few moments both he and his mate smiled and nodded their heads. "Why of course! We'd be happy to help. Just so long as you humans lead the way that is." commented the elderly longneck with a cheerful smile.

"Sure, it's a deal" Henry said, who had sort of taken the lead positon of this little expedition to the open field he supposed, depending on where Hammond went.

As the jeep pulled along side him, Sharptooth turned with a growl. He faced the jeep and it's humans full on and roared challengingly, telling them to back off.

Muldoon fired the dart spun from the rifleing in the barrel and hit sharptooth in the right eye. 'We got him,' muldoon said.

"That certainly sounds like a good idea." Diver said nodding.
"Yea, sounds like everyone will be having fun." Chomper said, liking the idea that everyone would be having some fun instead of some being bored.

Frank drove past the sharptooth. "I'm gonna come around for another pass,' he said to muldoon before sharply turning around.
-
Sharptooth roared again as he was hit. This was just unbelievable, these weak two footers who had been acting like they ran the place ever since he'd awoken and found them about had actually managed to get him in the eye.
Despite the pain, Sharptooth swatted the dart aside and found he wasn't sure yet if he would be blind in that eye, but he kept a sight on the turning jeep anyway as best he could and then rammed at it, teeth bared, and bit down on the front of the jeep as it came to meet him.

"Woah,' frank said as the jeep rolled over throwing both him and muldoon clear of the jeep which kept rolling until it hit a tree. "Are you alright,' muldoon asked frank. "Never better but we should get to higher ground this way,' frank said running to a high tree with muldoon right behind him.

For all his ferocity, it took Sharptooth a while to realize the jeep was not what he should have been concentrating on and with a delayed reaction that might have given the humans time to make the tree, he turned and roared, having to take one or two more seconds to get his bearings with only one good eye and make sure he was facing where he should be.
He advanced.

Frank and muldoon climbed to the top of the tree and started firing their tranqulizer guns. "We need some help here we're short on darts,' frank screamed into the radio.

"We need help right now,' frank yelled. 'We only have 16 darts left and the others are back at the over turned jeep bring reinforcements,' frank yelled before he fired another dart which hit the sharptooth in the leg.

Hammond who was still in the hanger picked up his radio and replied, "Alright, stay where you are and I'll join you as soon as I can!" As he put his walkie-talkie back on his belt he turned and ran to the nearest jeep and pulled a rifle out of the back and loaded it.
"Time to end this madness!" he said aloud as he hopped into the jeep and turned on the ignition.
Longtail had heard at least part of what Hammond had said and asked the others "Should we be worried?"
Cyrix turned to his nephew and smiled as he replied, "I don't think so Longtail, after all, Mr.Hammond did make this place, so he would know what's best."

"Copy that,' frank replied. Frank and muldoon fired at the same time and both darts hit the sharptooth in the nose.

Sharptooth roared in both pain, but more so indignation, as the darts him him in first the leg and then the nose. He leapt up, with more agility than one would expect a Rex his size to have (ooc: Hey, he was completely air born for a few seconds in that first movie :DD), snapping at the tiny humans almost like one of those fast biters would.
His leg that had been shot was slowly losing some of it's functionality though and he came down hard on it on the second jump, twisting his ankle. With a roar of pain he went down, yet then struggled to stand once more.

"I certainly hope things turn out ok." Diver said with some worry in her voice.
"I'm sure they will." Mim said gently patting Diver on the shoulder.
"Yea, they will." Chomper said confident of their all being ok out there.

Frank and muldoon fired again and they both missed the sharptooth. "Are you alright,' he asked in sharptooth.

"Did you hear me or do I need to repeat myself,' frank asked the sharptooth.

"You still have a chance to turn yourself in quietly we'll fix your leg and give you something bigger than a sheep,' frank said to the sharptooth.

As he first heard the two leggers speak, Sharptooth tried to both ignore it and tell himself why it wasn't possible that these spindly little creatures could speak such a proud language as that the sharpteeth had built up for themselves.
With a low growl he cracked one eye open, "Even a simple creature as you take me for knows I'm not suppose to be here" he began in a quiet tone, ominously quiet, "I don't know how, but I know...and you want my cooperation for what? So that stocky leader of yours can feel important because he manages to trap a few of us behind tree branches with a bite?!" he growled again and shook his head.
"If you feel like killing me just because I won't grovel, feel free, otherwise I'll give you a chance to run before I lose my patience and just do away with the both of you" Sharptooth closed his eyes boardly.
He'd have attacked by now if his leg wasn't such a bother and right now all he really wanted was time to rest it and them move on as he'd done before with such injuries.

"Well humans have never seen a dinosaur up close and Mr Hammond built this place to show you guys to the people of the world,' frank said. "And as for being un respected I do have some experience in that department,' frank said.

Sharptooth's eyes were narrowed, but he just listened. It was a strange concept, so they were trapped so that little two leggers could gawk at them? Not even the most vicious sharptooth (which was probably himself) would think up that!
"Fine, for now we'll just say I believe your little story, now if you'll excuse me I'll just hobble my own way to the spot you guys would like me to hang around" he attempted a stand, yet crumpled back to the floor, wincing.
He snarled and tried again, with no success.

Diver looked up, "Shall we do something till we hear from them?" She asked.
"That could help to pass the time." Mim said.
"And it could be fun too." Chomper said smiling his toothy smile.

"Hammond the rex seems to have hurt his ankle I talked to him and he'll go back to his pen but I told him that we would give him a cow every now and then but for now I suggest that we put a cast on his ankle then put him back and maybe give him a day off sometimes when we become operational cause I don't think that we would like tourists gawking at him every day,' frank said to hammond.

"Is everything going alright,' muldoon asked frank.
"Yes everything is going fine,' frank replied.

Frank saw hammond approaching in the jeep. "Ah there he is,' frank said to himself.

"I wonder how long we'll have to wait." Diver said.

Hammond listened to Frank speak and he nodded his head properly.
"Very good. And I'll be sure to keep a predator like Sharptooth here entertained." He then looked directly at Sharptooth and asked, "Would you like that?"

Cyrix sighed and said aloud, "I would hope not too soon Diver. Although I am starting to worry a bit myself...it has been longer than I thought for Mr. Hammond since he left."

"Maybe he is having a conversation with that mean sharptooth guy." Chomper said.

Sharptooth narrowed his eyes looking directly at Hammond. These two leggers being able to talk to him was actually nothing but an annoyance he decided. "I doubt you could do it properly..." he began, "but...sure, go ahead and try and...I'll try to refrain from lowering your personnel count" he grinned.
He was in this world, like it or not, Sharptooth figured, so best work through the best survival strategies here as he had done back in his world he was familiar with.

Hammond only continued to smile even as Sharptooth made his 'promise'. "Oh don't worry Sharptooth, when I make a promise...I tend to keep it...even when the creature in question has the power to kill without remorse."

He was a brave little bug, Sharptooth had to give this human herd leader that much, to say such things when he was nothing but a swallow away from being extinct himself.
He just nodded, "Well good for you, or I suppose good for me" he allowed before turning, "Now I suppose you want me to walk to that pathetic gate of yours or can I hunt something real quick before hand?" he asked in an only half caring about the answer tone.

Frank turned and gave muldoon a thumbs up. "Good he's surrendered peacefully,' muldoon thought to himself.

Hammond smiled as he stood back.
"You are free to hunt, just so long as it is nowhere near the main complex...and try not to make a mess in the fields...we do have to try and clean those."

"Maybe they are sharing a meal." Chomper said. "That could be why they are taking so long."

"Let me help you with your ankle,' frank said setting sharptooths ankle right.

Sharptooth frowned, "I've done quite well for many Cold Times without anyone to help me, and I think I could so so no-", as he went to put weight on his foot though, he grimaced and had to hide the pained look.
"alright, if it will make you feel important..." he finally agreed.

"Didn't they say something about dealing with Sharptooth, that doesn't sound easy" Kit added for a reason they could be taking so long.
"Oh! Me hope he not eat them!" Petrie thought up the worst case possible

'That certainly would be bad, it would." Diver said.
Mim patted her back, "I'm sure things will work out. Some things take longer then others is all." Mim said smiling.
"I hope so too." Chomper said, also a bit worried.

Muldoon climbed down the tree. "Come on let's get this jeep turned back over,' he said to frank. "Yes let's,' frank replied.

Cyrix gave a wide smile.
"Don't worry little ones, I am sure with Hammond being there Sharptooth won't try anything bad."
Longtail looked up and chuckled. "Oh yeah right, like you just know?"
Cyrix continued to smile and patted Longtail on the head.
"Maybe I do, and maybe I don't, that's the fun of being a grown up."

"They may be well prepared for something like this happening with plans and what to do that they've practiced." Mim said while smiling and nodding as a way to try to reassure those present.
"I certainly do hope so." Diver said.
"Gee, do you think so?" Chomper said looking at Mim.
"They seem pretty organized so far." Mim said, "Don't you think?"
"It does seem so I guess." Diver said, not having paid attention to that part of what they had seen so far.

Not one to just sit for too long, even if he was letting others help him, Sharptooth hobbled along just a few more feet as the humans flipped the jeep, something in his head still telling him he could do it himself.

"Yeah, they're like a herd all themselves" Kit agreed to them being organized, trying to keep the others cheered up.

"It does appear so indeed." Mim said agreeing with Kit.
"and they are more willing to talk then chase or fight others that are different." Diver said.

"That should do it,' frank said as the jeep rolled back upright. He turned to the sharptooth "you sure you don't need any help,' he asked.
-
"Perhaps in part since they may either not eat meat or they eat more then just meat." Mim said while looking at Diver.
"One of those who can eat meat and green food? Like you and Ruby?" Chomper asked.
"Yes." Mim said nodding.

"I've survived alone for quite a while" Sharptooth assured the human.

Hammond chuckled.
"Now boys lets not upset Sharptooth here. We just want to make sure a mighty hunter such as yourself is able to stand...we don't want our most fearsome creature looking weak and helpless." he commented with a sly smile.

Cyrix stepped forward as he heard the others comment on how humans eat.
"I'm not sure about that, but we can certainly ask what exactly some humans eat when they return."
Longtail however was in the air doing circles and loops keeping himself entertained.

"I wonder how long till then return, I certainly do." Diver said.

Sharptooth narrowed his eyes a bit, but only replied with words, "You needn't worry about that" he said before turning to hobble off with as much dignity as a hobble could have.

"I know that mr hammond,' frank said. "Well let's head back,' frank said. before starting the jeep and driving off.

"So is it like this every day,' muldoon asked. "Not always we mostly just see how the dinosaurs are doing from our observation posts,' frank said.

"It should not be to long." Mim said hoping Diver was not to worried.
