Title: Was Kathleen Kennedy Responsible For Cutting Out Half of The Film?

I'm really curious because Kathleen killed Star Wars so was she responsible? :thinking

The cuts are mostly attributed to George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Kennedy is credited as a co-executive producer, but Lucas and Spielberg were said to have the most control.
