Rules:
1) Altering a character's appearance if that character belongs to another user is STRICTLY prohibited. (This happened in my last RPG.)
2) Creating an alimon character is STRICTLY prohibited until given the signal to do so.
3) A user may not DOMINATE the story and act like it was theirs to begin with, this includes forcing other users, even the creator of the RPG to go with his or her idea. (Also happened in my last RPG)
(I'm going to wait until I get more users to join before I start this RPG. This RPG has a very dark, slow paced, R rated horror setting, not an action adventure game.)

Well, it has Tanner in it. But this is a different story entirely. Involving Darkhououmon's made-up dinosaur, the Alimon.

Bob is very built up and often works out. He has permission from the government to have weapons installed on his aircraft too. Bob is a fearsome fighter both in the air and on the ground.

I'm just going to stick with one character for now. I have no idea what his zodiac would be. Lets say my character was born in May and is 35. What would his be?

65 million years ago, an intelligent yet savage specie of dinosaur called the Alimon left earth before the meteor impact. There was only one ship which could hold only 100,000 alimons. Riots broke out, everyone wanted on, but the hierarchy refused. Stow aways were hunted down and brutally slaughtered. The ship departed earth just seconds before the meteor impact. The ship sped towards the neighboring planet, Mars. There, they built a colony in which to thrive in, but the alimons wanted their kind to live on for millions of years. So, they placed the entire populace inside an air tight cave, where they hibernated for millions of years. over the Millenia the habitat domes were buried under rocks and sand. For millions of years, the ghost colony remained untouched. Until another creature set foot on the red planet, the human. In 2130 a teenage scientist super soldier named Tanner Colvin discovered the colony, buried underneath the face of Cydonya, where an new science station was erected after the first one at the space port was destroyed so many months back. They ventured further into the ancient city until they came to a sealed cavern. When the humans entered the cave, they discovered the hundreds of thousands of alimons, still hibernating, after millions of years. A male and a female was taken back to the lab and placed in suspended animation tubes for further study.
Present day
"Incoming transport detected" says a computerized voice as the image of mars appeared on screen with a red blip getting closer to the atmosphere of the planet.
(PS: F-14, I was thinking maybe your character could pilot the incoming shuttle.)

Bob checked all the instruments and announced on the speaker, "Alright everyone, we will be arriving in a few minutes. Please remain seated until we have arrived.
(occ: where is the shuttle going to land? Is there a station or something?)
Anyway, Bob was wishing he would get some use out of his spitfire on a mission for once. He was never big on space flight.

Two giant doors in the ground open up to reveal a deep shaft. Bob lowers the shuttle down to the launch pad at the bottom. The gangplank lowers to the pad and Counselor Sol steps out. A military sargeant walks over to meet him. "This wasn't part of my plans I didn't want to come here!"
"Yes sir, Dr. Kruger wants you to report to the meeting room immediatley." says Sarge.
"I can't be coming to him whenever he screws up. If this continues, Kruger will start doing things my way."
Meanwhile, at the lab next to the archeological dig, Kacie is examining the two alimons in individual tubes full of transparent, green liquid. One Alimon is female, and the other is male. Tanner walks up to Kacie, "So, hows the work coming along?"

Kacie was observing the monitor in front of her that was measuring the vital signs, such as pulse rate, and the brain waves. When she was about to take some notes, she heard Tanner's voice beside her.
"So, hows the work coming along?" She heard Tanner ask.
Kacie sighed as she pushed the notepad and pen inside the pocket of her white coat. "I'm still not quite sure what these creatures are." She admitted. "And so far their vital signs and brain waves have remained mostly unchanged. They're both still in a deep sleep, and their heart and breath rate is astonishly slow."
She walked up to the containers that held the alimons in suspended animation. "It appears that the short mane on this animal," she said pointing to the female alimon, "indicates that it is female. And the long feathers on this one," she said pointing to the male alimon, "indicates it's a male."
She turned around. "And further more, I have discovered some rather shocking information when I looked at the brain scan I performed earlier."

"Really? What is it?" Tanner asks Kacie.

Kacie narrowed her eyes seriously, and she locked her hands behind her back as she turned around and walked up to the tube, and placed her hand on it. "We are dealing with intelligent creatures, Tanner."
She turned her head and looked behind her, towards Tanner. "The brain scans indicated that these creatures are capable of intelligence that rivals, maybe even surpass, our own."

"Oh, my god," says Tanner as he looks at the male alimon in the tube, "This is amazing, where do you think they came from? They appear to be almost dinosaur-like."

"I ran some scans to receive stats on their skeletal structure." The 20 year old explained. "They appear to have a skeleton that looks very similar to that of the prosauropods, from the Triassic Period. The main difference is that these are clearly carnivores." She recalled seeing large sharp fangs and the sharp claws were visible on the alimons in the tubes. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say these really are dinosaurs."

"Unbelieveable." replys the 15 year old, "And at the archeological dig we discovered that over millions of years, rock and dust burried the colony, for some unknown reason the rock made a face formation over the dome."

Kacie looked up in surprise. "You mean the one in Cydonia, Mars?"

"Uuuhh, yeah. The building we're in is right next to it." says Tanner.

Kacie nodded. "I see." She had realized her mistake, and felt foolish right now. But she shook it off. She knew she couldn't abandoned her work. She pulled out her notepad once again. But before she wrote down anything, she looked at Tanner thoughtfully. "Have you found out anything else?"

"well, I discovered that since they are predators, their instincts will take over their intelligence. Because after millions of years of hibernating, they will be pretty hungry and need to fill their bellies before they regain control of themselves. So we need to be careful when they wake up." says Tanner as he leaves the lab.

Kacie nodded seriously as she watched Tanner leave. She turned to her work, studying the alimon specimens, and got ready to write down some notes. Then she happened to look over at the computer nearby. Something seemed to have changed.
She strode over to the table, and looked at the computer screen as it popped up with the window showing the male and female animal's brain waves. At first, nothing seemed to have changed. But then she noticed one small change. The waves were becoming slightly more active. It wasn't a big change, but it was enough to bring Kacie's attention to the monitor as she overlooked the brain waves.
"This change..." She said to herself as she noted the few areas that indicated some very mild activity. "It means the animals have entered the delta stage. They're no longer in a deep sleep..." She looked over at them, and remembering what Tanner said, began to grow a bit nervous. "It means they are just dreaming now."
She looked towards the door where Tanner had gone. If it had not been for her duty she would have told him about the change. She decided to go back to work on the project, despite the risk she probably as in if the brain waves show any more activity.

Tanner strolls down the hall towards marine command. He passes a meeting room with Comissioner Sol, Dr. Kruger talking and Sarge next to the door. Tanner stop, hearing the conversation, "I'm here, because I've heard rumors that you are hiding something from me." says the Comissioner.
"Oh, really? Don't you even know of the ground breaking work we are doing here?" replies Kruger.
"Yes, but I have been advised by the board to look at everything."
"Hmm, the board does know one special thing about science. All they want is something to make them more money. Some... product. Don't worry, they'll get their product."
"Then tell me, Dr. Kruger, why are so many civiliance spooked, complaining, requesting transferrs off Mars?"
"They simply can't handle it here. Life on another planet has always been hard on people."
"Well, I think this meeting has had enough discussion." says Comissioner Sol as he starts for the door.
"Sol, just stay out of my way." says Dr. Kruger.
Tanner starts for Marine command to be briefed on a new mission.

Tanner walks over to Marine Command to be breifed on his new assignment, he sees Sarge standing at a computer terminal looking out into the Martian Landscape. "take your sweet time, kid?" says Sarge, "Now, here's the situation, a member of the science team has gone missing, since you're the ranking FNG, you get to find him. He was last seen heading to the archeological dig." Tanner nods, turns around and walks away. "I wonder why the Counsleor and Kruger were arguing. Why are people leaving Mars? Maybe it has to do with the hibernating, dinosaurian life forms in the archeological dig? Oh well, I guess living on another planet is different for some people." Thinks Tanner as he heads for an elevator which takes him down to the underground part of the Mars Station, from there anybody who wants to visit the archeological dig must get through the matinance tunnels. He reaches the underground floor, Ethan Cole is sitting at a computer terminal in another room, the one side of the room the computer terminal is one has a glass window in which Tanner peers through to get his attention, he points to a locker full of armor and weapons. He needs to get clearance from Ethan to get to the Archeological dig.

And I forgot to mention in the rules that there's no current weapons and gear allowed in this story, this is the year 2130, weapons and equipment from 2006 is too primitive for a technologically advanced era as the 22nd century. To show you what weapons there are, here's a rather poor sketch of them. The drawing sucks, I know, I've done better. But at least it'll give people an idea of what they look like. )

Tanner grabs his armor and secures his pistol and walks through the door. "I'll be fine alone." He says as he starts for a winding maze of matinance tunnels.

"I'm in Martian Archeology, I go back and fourth between these tunnels all the time to get to and from the dig, I know them like the back of my hand. Nothing hardly ever goes wrong down here." says Tanner as he enters the tunnel. He walks down several tunnels, past a window showing a guy in a orange jump suit trying to fix something with a guy in a lab coat watching, "Can't you matinance guys get this done any faster?"
"Yes but the science team demands a lot from these things."
"Then quit talking and get the science team what they need!"
Tanner continues down several tunnels until he comes to a 20 foot drop with an extending bridge, at the bottom of the drop off there's a bunch of generators with a lot of moving parts. He activates the bridge and continues on to the archeological dig. He comes to a huge blast door, he takes out his Personal Data Assistant (PDA) and runs it through the scanner. The blast door opens, revealing a long, wide tunnel drilled into "The Face". He continues to the end of the tunne and enters what appears to be a glass dome with decaying ruins of a huge city with giant, futureistic skyscrapers, what once was a thriving city alimons has millions of years ago is now in ruins. One part of the City was sealed tight, leaving the hibernating alimons undesterbed. He enters a small human installation, a com facility along the edge of the city. He enters the building, goes through a couple corridors and finds himself in the com room where an asian man is sitting at a computer terminal, recording something and getting ready to send it out. The man notices Tanner, "No! No! Please! You must let me get this communication out! They have to be warned while there is still time! I... I... You don't know what I've seen! You can't possibly comprehend!" Just then, a cocophony of loud snarls and roars are hears just outside the building. The man glances at the door with a look of horror on his face. "Oh no, they're awake! NO!" Just then, an alimon bursts through the door, it lunges at the scientist, missing Tanner withing inches. The man screams as he is being torn to shreds by the savage alimon. "SON OF A BITCH!" Tanner yells as he cocks his pistol and starts shooting the dinosaur. Three bullets to the head put the beast down. Just then, more alimons start flooding into the room. "SHIT! SHIIIT!"

Kacie continued to scribble notes onto her notepad. She was interrupted when she heard a slight scratching noise. She immediately looked up at the tubes in front of her, but she could not see anything unusual. She soon shrugged it off, and continued to work. But as she did so, the scratching sound came back.
"What is making that noise?" She put down her notes, frustrated, and walked towards the tubes, the source of the noise. As she did, she thought she saw movement. She turned her head towards the female creature. She thought she saw slight twitching in the eyes.
"What the...?" She peered in closer. Suddenly, the creature's eyes snapped open, and eyed her hungrily. At first Kacie didn't react. The alimon seemed to pose no threat, encased in glass. She heard another scratch, and whipped her head towards the male. The male alimon's eyes were wide open as well, and he too was eyeing her with a starved look in his face.
She knew she must heed Tanner's warnings about the intelligence being overrided by hunger. But fascination and horror kept her locked in place, staring at the two alimons as they stared back at her. She slowly placed her hand on the tube that the female was contained in.
Big mistake.
CRAAAAACK!!! The female suddenly burst from the strong tube, glass shattering all over the ground. Kacie let out a scream and stumbled onto her back as the female stumbled to her feet and began prowling towards her.
Suddenly another loud crack made Kacie realize that the male is out now. The male snarled at the female, as though communicating with her. The frightened woman scrambled to her feet and made a mad dash out of the room. The female and male alimons took a few tentative steps, unsure of their surroundings, before running off through the door.

(Just to clarify, the scientists don't know, at this moment, what the alimons are called. They don't know the name 'alimon'. A minor mistake. Could've happened easily, since I don't recall Cyber and I clarifying earlier that the scientists don't know the names of the creatures they are dealing with.)

"NOT GOOD! NOT FUCKING GOOD!" yells Tanner as he escapes the room full of alimons, shooting at anything that moves until he comes to a weapons locker near the exit. He quickly punches in a password to open the locker, he takes out a plasma gun , slapps a fresh energy cell into it, and turns around to shoot any approaching alimons. He sees three alimons looking at him in the eye. They were studying him, trying to figure out what that thing he had in his hand was. Tanner pulls the trigger and a streak of pale blue light impales the alimon's skull, killing it instantly. The other two attack, but Tanner burns holes into them, darts out of the building and heads for the tunnel. He needs to seal the blast door so the alimons couldn't get to the station, he sees bloody footprints on the ground, it was too late. "KACIE! OH SHIT! I GOT TO GET TO KACIE!" Tanner thinks as he enters the matinance tunnel he came from. The power is cut off and the lights are flickering constantly. And alimon ambushes Tanner. Quick enough to react, he fires a plasma bolt which burns through the dinosaur's sophisticated brain. "Damn, by now these things might have already had Kacie for dinner." says Tanner as he walks over to the extending bridge, he looks through the window of a nearby room and sees a guy being attacked by an alimon, "NO! I DON'T WANT TO DIE! AAAAAAAAAH!" The alimon lunges at the man, followed by blood splattering over the window. Tanner presses a red button on the wall to activate the bridge, "Bridge extension in sevon seconds" says a computerized voice, just then, an alimon jumps out of the shadows, Tanner fires a round, incinerating the monster's leg. The bridge extends and he crosses it, he makes his way down through the now blood crusted matinance tunnels. He sees the mutilated corpse of a staff sargeant leaning against the wall, his face has been completley knawed off and he's completley disembowled. A shotgun lays next to the body, Tanner picks it up and cocks it. He sets down the plasma gun and collects some extra shells. Another alimon jumps out of the shadows and Tanner blows a hole in its chest. He sees Lt Cole laying unconscious on the floor. The teenage scientist can see that he's bashed and scratched, but still alive. He sees the keycard laying on the ground, he picks it up, and swipes it. He slings Cole's arm around his shoulder and drags the man to the elevator. Just then, ANOTHER alimon jumps out from hiding behind the pipes on the ceiling. "God damn, son of a bitch, too young for this kind of work." says Tanner as he drags Ethan into the elevator and hits the up button. Tanner can hear the screaming voices of marines getting slaughtered over Ethan's walkie talkie. As the elevator ascends, Lt. Cole Regains consciousness.

"You know, those sleeping dinosaurs the science team discovered at the archeological dig? They were hibernating and they just woke up after millions of years! Kacie is up in the Bio Research lab where two of them are concealed in glass tanks full of life support liquid. Apparently they've woke up and started to feed. I know what you're thinking, if they are intelligent enough to build a giant city,then why are they acting like unintelligent savages, right? It has to do with their hibernation, when a meat eating creature like a bear hibernates for a long enough period of time, it gets extremly hungry and ferocious. That's what's happening here with these creatures. They're hungry, so their instincts are taking over their intelligence." says Tanner. The elevator reaches ground level, the doors open to show blood everywhere and dead soldiers, Scientists and civilians are scattered all over the room. Tanner hears a man in distress on Ethan's walkie talkie, "THIS IS CORPRAL WILSON! MY TEAM IS GONE THEY'RE ALL DEAD! WHAT ARE MY ORDERS?!"
"Just hang tight son, we'll find you." they hear Sarge say, "Tanner! If you're out here you need to haul your ass back to marine HQ, stock up on weapons and supplies and get over here!" Sarge is cut off by the sound of a marine getting mutilated alive. Just then, they hear a loud ruckus and an alimon jumps out from behind several drums of flamable liquid. "AWW COME ON!" yells Tanner as he shoots the barrel and it explodes, sending peices of flesh everywhere. "HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT YOU FUCKING BASTARD!"

"Ahem, it wasn't cryogenics that made them hibernate and carnivores crave fresh meat, not junk food. And I just killed a few of these monsters with a shotgun, so yes, killing them with bullets does help." says Tanner as he finds the door to the bio research lab open. He looks around to find that the glass tubes in which the male and female alimons were concealed in were bustes open, puddles of life support fluid are everywhere and Kacie is nowhere to be found. "Oh shit, Kacie isn't here." says Tanner as he looks under desks and disection tables. Then, he sees a life support fluid trail of alimon and human footprints. Tanner looks down the hall in which the footprints where heading. "Kacie must have been chased into the lounge. WE GOT TO GO THERE NOW!"

Kacie dashed down the hallways, the creatures close behind her. She could hear them snarling and snapping, fighting each other to get up in front. She knew, with dread, they were fighting over who would get first dibs on her flesh. She made a sharp turn to throw the alimons off. It worked, but only for a couple seconds, as the alimons slammed into the wall together. She ran out ahead, and found the door that led to the lounge room. As the doors opened up for her, she dove in. She quickly turned around to see if the dinosaurs had made it through. She felt relief when the door closed, leaving the alimons on the other side.
She looked around the room, trying desperately to find a hiding place. She knew that that she only had a couple seconds before the door would open up again, allowing in the alimons. She made a split-second choice and dove over the bar, and hide there. She shuddered as she heard the doors open up again, and she could hear the frustrated snarls of the creatures.
The male alimon stalked over towards the chairs, looking underneath. He was inspecting them, to see if anything else was in this room too. He raised up his head, and sniffed the air. He let out a hoot, and the female looked his way, before walking closer to the bar. She first circled part of the bar, sniffing at it closely. When she picked up Kacie's scent, she snorted, and bared her teeth. She let out a soft roar, calling the male over.
Kacie gulped and winced as she heard both alimons close by the bar. Gathering up her strength, she began to crawl away from where she was hearing the alimons, to another part of the bar. She stifled a scream when she heard one of the alimons leap onto the bar structure, purring menacingly as it investigated the interior of the bar.
She slowly made it to the exit of the bar, but as she slipped through, she accidentally tipped over a forgotten glass with her foot, making a loud banging sound. She gasped, and froze.
The male alimon, who had leapt up, and the female, who still investigated the outside of the bar, suddenly rear their heads up, and looked for the direction of the sound. They both, at the same time, give a hiss, and begin moving towards the sound.
Kacie knew she couldn't remain frozen there forever. She looked over to see one of the bar stools, and knew this was her only chance to defend herself from the menacing creatures. She swallowed, and leapt forward and quickly grabbed the stool.
As she did so, the male suddenly let out a loud screech and jumped off and landed right behind Kacie. The woman quickly turned around just as the male slammed himself against her, and tried to bite her. Kacie whacked the male quickly on the side of the head. Dazed the male stumbled a little.
Kacie got up and started running to the other side of the lounge. The female growled, and gave chase. Kacie grabbed a chair this time, and brought it out in front of her, and just in time. The female had already caught up with her, and slammed her jaws onto the front of the chair. Kacie let go of the chair and ran towards the arcade machine.
The male regained his senses, and let out a loud roar. The female instantly let go of the chair, and snarled at Kacie. The two alimons started walked slowly towards her. The male on one side, and the female on the other. Kacie was trapped. And the alimons were ready to attack...

Just then, Tanner, who snuck into the lounge, kicked the out of order arcade machine on the other side of the room. The machine turned on and a happy voice shouted from the speaker followed by corny video game music "SUPER TURBO TURKEY PUNCHERRR! 3!" The alimons turn their heads in confusion, Tanner quickly ducks underneath a table next to the arcade game. The male alimon nears the mechine, trying to figure out what it was. Just then, Tanner ambushes the beast. "EAT LEAD, DIPSHIT!" yells Tanner as he blows a chunk of flesh off of the alimon's front left arm. As soon as Tanner fires the first shot, Ethan enters the room and they both fill the room with a barrage of bullets and shotgun pellets. Kacies dives back underneath the bar to avoid getting hit.

Uuuh, the automatic doors from which we came in." says Tanner, throwing Ethan a confused look. He spots Kacie hiding in the bar area of the lounge, takes her hand, and pulls her up. "Kacie, are you alright?"

Kacie said, "Yes, I'm fine. Thanks for the save."

"Lets go." says Tanner as he, Ethan and Kacie leave the lounge. "I got to ditch this peice of crap SMG." says Tanner as he approaches a weapons locker. he punches in the combination and the locker opens. Tanner discards the SMG and takes out three plasma guns. "I hope you know how to handle one of these." says Tanner as he hands a plasma gun to Kacie.

Kacie held onto the plasma gun, and studied it. "I'm a bit rusty, but yes I know." She answered dutifully.

"Ok." says Tanner as he hands a few energy cells to Kacie and hands over a plasma gun and a few cells to Ethan. Tanner slaps an energy cell into the gun and switches the safety off. "Lets look for more survivors." says Tanner as he starts down a hallway. They can't find any survivors. But then they hear a voice. It sounds like there is a person trying to get their attention.

(F-14 isn't doing the RPG anymore, so he wants me to take control of Bob.)
"Up here! Quickly!" Says Bob, who is hiding in one of the vent shafts. He lowers a ladder down to the ground. Tanner, Ethan and Kacie climb up into the shafts. "I thought I was the only one still alive. I can't belive I found you guys. I was walking down the halls to the lounge and then these things just attacked us. I was unarmed and my martial arts had no effect. I barely escaped."

As Kacie climbed up to the shaft, she heard what Bob said, and use the word 'us'. 'Us?' She thought. 'What happened to the others then?' Then she felt silly. Those creatures must've attacked and killed whoever Bob was with. Out of the corner of her eye, she thought she saw something moving. She quickly looked to see what it was. There was nothing. She shrugged it off, and climbed inside the shaft.
