How does one embed music?

How would one go about embedding a music file to a forum or a blog? The advice sites I've looked at don't work...

Some forums do not allow embedding music. As for blogs, try using Javascript.

Some forums specifically block this activity because they don't like it and it can be interrupting and annoying.  We block it here (no html/java codes allowed).

It depends on what you're trying to do.  Petrie's code will just make some music play once the page is loaded and you will have no control over it.  You must use a flash music player if you want control over the songs.
