I can go for either Spike, Petrie, or Littlefoot, but I'll wait until everyone else has chosen.
As for my own, I already made a herd of spikethumb (iguanodon) characters, which I'm still trying to keep as minors for the stories. Here's a list and short info on them:
Guan: first child, only brother, Hyp's age
Goanna: second child, oldest sister, two-thirds of Guan's size
Donna: third child, youngest sister, Littlefoot's age and Cera's size
Uncle Odon: uncle and teacher, Spikefoot's younger brother
Spikefoot: father, Odon's older brother
Lightningtail: Guan's friend, same size and age, but lighter in color
Thundertail: Lightningtail's father, slightly larger than Spikefoot
Again, I'll try to keep them minor.

I usually play as eiter Cera or Threehorn,
I do have charcaters of my own they a mix herd that use to live in a small valley but that was destoryed in a serious of quakes after about a few years after the Great Earthshake.
Thunderclaw: A spikethumb that is old and unusally bigger then other spikethumbs but has a wise side that he takes into count into talks and related the the Spikethumbs of Sky Blue Lake yet they don't know about him.
Trihorn: around Cera's age, an Threehorn and lives with his care father a Longneck since his own parents and family lost in the Great Earthshake.
Luckytail: the care father of Trihorn he has a young sister that around Hyp's age he takes care of Trihorn and his little sister seeing both as equals and he has a kind heart to others.
Malde: the young sister of Luckytail and part sister to Trihorn even he a threehorn she sees him as a young brother and protects him from insults of other threehorns that pass by or dinosaurs.
Freefall: A small flyer the like flying high and driving down to try go faster then other flyers a bit of a show off at times.
Daln: A odd swimmer out of the rest in his family he don't mind drinking from water but going in deep water or water he can't see the bottom he gets into a fearful stat and his mother is lost for ideas to help him out.
you got the parents of Freefall and Daln and others in the group but these are the main set of the herd that I use. :)

I have a few characters that I will assume the role of in my LBT RPG.
Strafe Species: Iguanodon age: 25 (in dino years) A younge iguanodon. Friendly and easy going, she is the only survivor from her herd from the Great Earthshake. Strafe is gentle and kind but she is brave and can be fearsome if threatened. Otherwise, she seems shy and skittish.
Snork: species: swimmer age: 29 Friendly, and smart for his species, Snork has survived fires, shaprtooth attacks, the Great Earthshake, and the journey to the Great Valley. He met Strafe on the way and the two became inseparable friends. Snork is loyal and often protective of Strafe. I will use this character as my player.

I will play the role of Tell, an Autistic Rainbow Face. He is the same age as Hyp and doesn't easily make friends. He lost his parents in a raptor attack on the way to the Great Valley and is fending for himself. He is an expert at certain things at the expense of his ability to socialy interact. Tell is usually picked on by Hyp and his lackeys because he's a loner and seems to act stupid to them. Littlefoot's grand parents have compassion for him and he likes to stay away from everybody else. Usually he hangs out by the smoking mountain, due to his osession with volcanoes, or he stays hidden in the tall trees, munching on some treestars.

LBT needs a "Villian":
Slashtooth: A powerful Sharptooth (Tyrannosaurus rex in particular) that is usully very hungry. He's smart (despite what the leaf-eaters say) and brave (despite what the leaf-eaters say). He is very nasty when it comes to those who want to (or he thinks want to :lol ) kill him.
Also, if Ozzy and Strut (I think that's their names) are needed, I will gladly control them :DD .

Folks, I think we have way too many personal characters already, and with everybody's effort to put the own characters in as much as possible I don't think the result can be an LBT story in which the original characters are of any significant importance.
Maybe we should rather start out with a story (Threehorn made a suggestion for a basic plot which I think ought to be considered) and then see what characters are needed for the story. With the herds of own characters we are having already, there wouldn't remain much for the original characters to do. I admit that (unwilling to make myself more of the imposer of unpopular rules that I am already) I have been close to just back out of the whole strict RPG business not believing that one with the setting of the original movies (where there are never more than two or three really elaborate new characters apart from the originals). Shouldn't we rather let the plot decide what characters can contribute something that the original characters cannot, respectively which characters really make something for the plot? Shouldn't we care to get the original characters distributed before herds of own characters are flocking together?

I'll let others have their first choices for the maincharacters and take who will be left. I have been thinking about the basic plot idea Threehorn suggested and for the introduction of the story I think I have a job for Petrie's mother to do. So unless somebody else wants to do her part I will play her part.

I'll take THreehorn I guess... but in LBT stories almost all time time I've played as Cera.
So it controdicting what charcaters I can pick since I got use to the style of Cera personilty.
So'd I am limited to what charcaters I can play as. the others kind of not fitting that type of style part for Mr Threehorn or Topys which ever name fits..

Are you all going to start a new LBT rpg soon" If so, I would like to join in. However, I was wondering if I could still use a couple of personal characters I created. I'm sure nobody else will want to control them and because the characters are friends, because I am writing a story and created their personalaties, and because I want to use both of them (I am aware of how to use up to five characters. I've done it in my Star Wars RPG) I was wondering if I could use them. I just don't see any of the origional characters that I would like to use that aren't already taken. So, if you all are preparing to begine a new LBT rpg, please let me know when and if I can use a couple of personal characters.

Sure! :) We are not enough people anyway to fill all the minor roles (parents etc.) if everyone sticks to but one character.
So far I took care of Petrie's mother and Littlefoot's grandpa. I didn't pick any of the main characters yet. I will wait which characters everyone else wants to have and take some of the remaining characters.

I'm afraid I just don't quite get the hang of RPGs. I always have a kind of book in mind like people were writing the chapters respectively the actions of the characters in the same story. I find the very frequent changes of place and characters when the action at one place doesn't quite seem finished a bit confusing. Also I may have been too hesitant about characters. Having only the roles of some grownups so far I don't have too much to put in.
Sometimes I'm wondering if maybe a different "system" of RPG would work out better. If people wrote chapters rather than the actions of just one or two characters. It might make it sound more like one continuous story.
As for other people I suppose that the general concept of strictly land before time is not very popular due to the many rules (and damn me apparently finds it even too few rules!) :(

I'm really having a hard time catching up with everything happening too fast for my comfort. I may have to pull out, so Spike will be free for picking.
And Malte, I'm never against your idea of RPG. I guess we all have different levels and paces of RPing that we all can't really work together to make a story like the great novels you write. If we plan to make a storyline of that magnitude, we'd have to draw a lot of lines and do some serious planning and preparation to get it working.

Not sure if this is alright I created a new RPG which has a charcater in it that based on the title of the story named Thunder.
He hatched at the time of a thundering sound being just hatched lost his sense of hearing on that stormy night with his mother naming him Thunder. His been tormented in the past before arriving at the great valley for his life in the herd of longnecks his mother couldn't let it happy so she and him leave the herd and find the Great Valley to start a fresh life one that her son could grow and not be toremented by adults and kids because he can't hear like normal kids can. A style that never used before.

Species: Spikethumb (I guess that is what you call an iguanodon)

Gender: Male
Description: Kaga has dark green skin over most of his body. His underside is mostly pale gray. The row of scales running from his head down to his back have a turquoise color. Kaga also has pail gray stripes on his tail and the tip is black. He also has pale blue eyes.
Bio: Kaga was born in the Mysterious Beyond but ran away from his herd when he was young to search for the Great Valley. During the course of his travels, Kaga has become lost several times. He has found that it is not easy to survive on his own. Predators and hungar have plagued him on his journey and now the Great Valley is Kaga's only hope for survival. He may be friendly but he is shy around girls. He has learned to be a fierce fighter.

Species: Dilophosaurus Sinensis
Age: 73
Gender: Male
Description: 10 ft tall, 27 ft long. He is green with red and pink splotches going down his back. His frill is heavily damaged, and in some places only tatters of skin.
Bio: Sy is old, older than most creatures in the Great Valley. His motives are not always clear, but he is fairly trustworthy. He is carnivorous, but mostly eats fish and small mammals instead of other dinosaurs. He lost his right eye long ago in a battle with his brother, whom he killed.
Despite his old age, Sy is not elderly or decrepit. He is very wise and crafty, as well as powerful.
(Believe me, I've had this character long before I joined this site. Anything that sounds like it came from another LBT character is purely coincidence.)

Name: Old Horn
Speices: Threehorn
Age: unknown
Gender: Male
Description: 7 '6' ft tall, 24 ft long. green scales with one horn on the right half there and with a yellowish underside.
Bio: Old Horn name is unknown and that the way he likes it, being the oldest threehorn in the Great Valley after being left behind by the herd he once ruled for a long time. he always alone and don't want to do with anything with the other Great Valley dinosaurs even threehorns with a fear of being left behind again. Wise for the length of time his lived, he keeps his own age to himself. He has a very raw attude to others and refuse to talk to anyone giving a cold shoulder even the children keeping back from anyone of his past events.

Name: Blaze
Species: Flyer(Quetzalcoatlus)
Age: Older juvenile..call her the equivelant of a teenager
Description: Yellowish-cream body with red head crest and neck that her name comes from. Beneath that is a second black blaze that extends down her neck and encircles her eye. Her beak is tipped in red also.
Bio: She was hatched outside the valley but came in after the rest of her small flock died, some from sharpteeth and some from illness. She had a sharptooth run in of her own once because she got a little too daring toying with one of them that was trying to chase her and has a small tear in one wing from it, not enough to hinder flying unless the wind is high but landing can sometimes be tricky. She's still a bit hyper at times and exhuberant but knows to be more careful now.
(yes it's a modified LBT version of my Highsoar persona lol)

I adore roleplay, always have...however I can post novels sometimes and have a harder time keeping up with fast moving posts. I'm not sure how well I would do with a canon character, seeing as I usually wind up changing their personas in some way or another over time...it's just hard to keep them as "in character" for me as they should probably stay really. :rolleyes:
If I did attempt a canon character, I might go with Chomper...he's the youngest and perhaps has room for some character development anyways. Although, like I said I'm still unsure about it. I get paranoid with if I'm keeping a character true to their canon personas or not sometimes. :huh:
I have my own original character, Gitta (a Velociraptor), however I can also certainly see the problem in a plot getting overtaken with original characters and the canon characters not having much involvement in the story. :blink:
Just in case I might join up or start a roleplay, here's Gitta's information. Still pondering over Chomper, though. :unsure:

Species: Velociraptor
Color: Tawny crimson, tan markings and eyes a stunning ember. Russet color feathers along her head.
Appearance: Young raptor, slender, elongated tail serves as a balance and sturdy, muscular hind legs make her a powerful jumper and speedy runner.
Persona: Gitta is intelligent yet aggressive, naive and still learning, she's often mischievous and inquisitive to world around her.
I'm working on her story. :)

Bio: Timber is a cleaver sharptooth, able too lure his prey too caves and forest he got his nick name from his family. Being well traveled Timber preferse not too hunt in packs like the rest of his kind but instead he hunts alone or scalvenge off the remains of kills left behind. One redemeened quality too him is his ablity too talk like the leaf eaters making easy too stay clear of packs and only kill the sick or injured. He loves walking around the great beyound and makes a game out of tracking

Ok, so here's my OC:
Name: Longtail
Gender: Male
Age: 8
Species: Flyer/Sharptooth
Profile: After losing his whole family and home to an unfortunate accident, he is something of an oxymoron: being the last of his direct family blood-line he can be exceedingly prideful and headstrong, however after spending most of his young life in the Mysterious Beyond, and being exiled from three different wandering herds, he is also somewhat hesitant and shy around others, fearing what they think of him.
Although he doesn’t speak of it too often, he has also defended himself from attacking sharpteeth.
With only using his tail-like whip and the tips on his wings which he also uses for climbing trees and rocks (which keeps them razor sharp as a result.) he can cause mild lacerations to the skin.
However being the sweet natured flyer he is, he doesn’t enjoy fighting, he even dislikes contact games, however if he, or someone he knows is threatened he will fight…to the death if the need arises. Of course because he is still just a kid himself, he will look to others for guidance and help when he needs it.

Just as a side note I did not color this at all....a friend of mine who happens to be a master of Photoshop did, but she owed me one anyway! And Longtail's eyes are supposed to be pink, not grey...but I'll let it slide!

Not sure if this is the correct place for char ideas instead of full developed ideas. I thought I'd rather list some char ideas they some of you can say which ones may fit better, and which ones may less so.
Maybe one of Ducky's siblings. Maybe looks like her, some of then do, and based on one of her songs, I think one of the ones when Spike leaves, she has a line something like ones who talk like you. So maybe instead of her no, no, no, maybe something like, no certainly not & instead of yep, yep, yep, most certainly yes.
Not sure of the age, gender, or species, maybe one who is either a fast runner, flyer, rainbow face or one that looks like Amber from Dink. Personality maybe more of a thinker type, thinks about certain things they have observed. Maybe similar to some of the ancient Greek philosopher types. One rough ideas is, I think, one philosopher (forgot which one) observed one can cut things into smaller things, but one reaches a point where one is unable to cut any further, so perhaps that means all of matter has a point where one is unable to cut any further. I'd guess such a one others would see as weird.

Diver
Gender: Female
Age: same as as Ducky
Species: Swimmer
I got the idea I think from the song about family from the movie where Spike leaves, the big freeze I think it is, and seeing when sometimes when they draw some of Ducky's siblings some look exactly like her. Though to most Ducky and Diver and some of their other siblings would look exactly the same, some could tell them apart. Their other siblings, mother, and Spike. I would assume Chomper could smell the difference.
I'm thinking she got her name since she likes to dive in the water, and sometimes go deep. Perhaps she may also think underwater green food tastes a bit better then land green food, in some ways. Maybe also have her be a little afraid of Cera's dad from the way he seems grouchy, and a bit mean, and such, maybe giving her some nightmares early when she was in the valley.

Fleshed out another char idea with some help from The Great Valley Guardian (thanks)
NAME: MIM (from the middle of the species name)
AGE: around 18 to 20
GENDER: Female
SIZE: about the same size as the rainbow faces in LBT 7. Not sure what size in feet or meters that would be.
SPECIES: Rainbow face
APPEARANCE: Looks very similar to the female rainbowface from LBT 7 The Stone of Cold Fire, except with her body color a shade or so lighter with the slightest hint of blue in the greenish area of her body. Her eyes are blue. Her muscular build is of one who has lived on their own, and did a lot of short and long distance running from sharpteeth and fast biters.
HISTORY: She lived with her family for a number of years. Things grew scarce and they started to move around. They heard from some far walkers they encountered and others about a place somewhere to the north called the great valley and decided to see if it were there. Before to long she was separated from her family by an attack of fast biters. She got away but does not know the fate of her family.
She wondered. She lost count of the number of cold times that she has wondered.
She eventually came across the Yellowbellies and lived with them for a while.
She eventually encountered a herd of far walkers that said they not only knew where the great valley was, unlike others who only heard tales of it, but that they actually visited it during their long walk. They agreed to allow her to travel with them until they reached there, though some likely did grumble a bit about it.
They eventually reached the great valley. Knowing how others thought of her, she decided it best to hide in the great valley, avoiding others as much as possible.
PERSONALITY: Some of her personality is a bit similar to the ancient Greek philosophers in that she asks questions, and tries to find proof of some ideas she gets and others say. Proof by observations, thinking, and perhaps testing when possible.
She is also shy due to the way others treated her and said she was being weird, or nutty when she said some of her ideas or asked some questions. She keeps to herself, at least at first. Though having lived in the mysterious beyond most of her life and lived on her own for part or most of it, she does have bravery.

- Description: Vylor came out of nowhere. He was once an elf, but a spell went wrong and he became a longneck and was transported into the past. He seems to have an immense knowledge of how things work, and is frequently asked when someone needs help. He is the size of a child, but will help anyone in need, no matter how much injury he will acquire. Also seems to radiate intelligence and friendship. In times of great emotion, usually anger, his elvish form takes over temporarily.
- Personality: Seemingly omnipotent. His emotions are unknown, and he acts with the air of someone who knows he is more intelligent than those around him.
Vylor's description and history will be discovered in my RPG.

Name: Dante S. Starfall
Species: Troodon
Age: Equivalent to an 17-18 year old human
Height: His head is about equal to Littlefoots
Coloration: Mostly Black, with Red stripes on his arms and the middle of his back. Long, Jagged scar on his left side, with mutliple red lines leading to it. Fire-like Dark black mark on his right forearm.
Eyes: Pale Blue
Defining Characteristics: Necklace--Blue stone with the names of his new and old friends carved into it.
Ring--Same type of stone, carved into a band around his right middle claw. Gift from Arius
Personality: Dante is an eccentric, likeable raptor with a tragic past. Abandoned by his family for his mysterious powers, he wandered alone for some time until he met Arius, a raptor who took him in and trained him how to fight. After discovering the fact that Dante was blind in his left eye, he taught him how to use spinning movements to conceal that fact. Dante hates the sight of blood, and is actually a leaf-eater. His power, which is in fact the spirit of a long-dead sharpclaw daemon, is concealed within his left eye, and it manifests when his eye changes color from blue to gold. He also has a curse on his right arm, which imbues him with great strength, but it also deprives him of his sanity, leaving him a heartless killer. He tries hard to be accepted, and often will risk his own life to protect others.
He's afraid of Thunder and of Rocks Falling...
Favorite food: Treestars
Least Favorite food: Grass
Likes: Sleeping, Goofing Off
Dislikes: Having to work hard, Being woken up.

Personality: Zaine's herd arrived at the Great Valley just before the mysterious snowfall. They managed to survive, but for what? Zaine has no friends at the moment, and he tends to be a little shy. He mostly spends his time walking around the Great Valley, eating random tree stars and drinking from random lakes here and there.

I'll be posting and updating here info about the characters I'll be using.
This is my main character, he is the protagonist of a fanfiction I was making about 10 years ago, but it was forgotten until I found this page.
Name : Cayso
Gender : Male
Age : equivalent to a 9 years old human (just a bit older than the Gang).
Size : Higher than Chomper (in the tv serie) but smaller than Littlefoot.
Species: Deinonychus (feathered fast-bitter)
Appearance : Light feathered raptor, his feathers are grey in most of his body (including the large feathers in his forearms) and white in inner parts of his arms, tail tip and chest; a large scar in his left forearm partially covered by the feathers; he has yellow eyes and white claws.
Profile: During the long migration to the vicinities of the Great Valley, some raids to destroy the herd's eggs left them very diminished, Cayso's return from his separated journey revived those raptors' hopes for survival and due to his experiences during the journey and the fact that he is now the strongest child, he became very protective of the others, specially protective of his little brother.
History: His herd originates from northern lands and they got near the great valley by following herds of leaf-eaters that left after their home began to change. Long before the birth of Cayso, his herd learned the language of the leaf-eaters, mainly to have a better understanding of their movements and that way to have better chances for successful hunts.
During his journey, Cayso met with several dinosaurs that were also separated from their families during the big earthshake and he had a rough time trying to earn their trust, things changed for the best during that time and they all went together as friendship was born; they all make the journey to find the Great Valley together and they all reached their goal, later, Cayso said goodbye to his friends and went back into the Mysterious Beyond to find his own family. Also during the journey, he found out he is the son and heir of Greyclaw, the greatest Fast-bitter hunter ever to exist.

Name : Racnar
Gender : Male
Age : equivalent to a 8 years old human (maybe the same age as the Gang).
Size : As tall as Chomper (in the tv serie).

Profile: Racnar is not a healthy kid, his body cannot resist long fights or runs. What he may not be able to fight he is very smart and he can really help planning strategies and he is sure able to find an adversary's weak points faster than anybody else. Racnar is somewhat introverted, just telling what he has to say and no more, except when he is with his parents or his brother.
Hitory: Being Cayso's younger brother, everybody in his Herd was expecting him to be as strong as his brother, but for some reason he was born sick and weak, this caused problems in his Herd as some of them were thinking that the Hatchling would not be able to tolerate the migration they were having. As all Grown-ups were discussing that matter, Cayso grabbed and placed his brother on his back, letting everybody know that Racnar will continue on the travel. Things were not easy for the kid, sometimes he was taunted by other kids and even by some older raptors. Things changed after the big earthshake, when Racnar was separated from his brother and realised that he had to be without him he revealed his hidden talents to his parents and Herd: his lack of health was compensated by added intelligence and cunning.
Racnar finally earned the respect of the whole herd after saving many of the kids from the last raid that his Herd suffered.
After Cayso's return, Racnar gained enough experience and knowledge and he is allowed to make scouting with his brother. Both Fast-bitters are very close to each other as Cayso has always defended his younger brother and also he was the only one at first to know about all of Racnar's abilities, so it is uncommon to see them separated for long periods of time.

This is th bios for an antagonist of my fan-storyline:
Name : Spin
Gender : Male
Age : equivalent to a 11 years old human (maybe the same apparent age of Ruby).
Size : As tall as Ruby.
Species: Spinosaurus (Finback Sharptooth).
Profile: Been the first-born hatchling of a couple of good hunters, Spin is a very proud boy, but his life changed after his parents were killed. After that, he has been through many changes as he had to be alone in a world full of dangers. He is a child that no longer smiles since he has no reason to feel joy, but he still has an ironic sense of humor, maybe as a way to prevent others to take advantage of him and make more damage to his already scarred life.
History: Spin is a kid that wanders alone in the Mysterious Beyond after his parents were killed during a raid. Forced to fend for himself, he has been forced to fight for his life more times that he could remember. While trying his best to survive and even though he has been offered to join Sharpteeth herds, he has refused to join them, he feels that he will not be able to have a new family until he can take revenge on the ones he thinks are responsible for his parents' death: Greyclaw's heirs.

Story:
He lost his parents during an earthshake. For very much years he was going along to different places in the world. He had to fight against many sharpteeth (he has a red scar on his right shoulder. One day he fight against a sharptooth and the character of Chiletrek (Cayso) came to help him. But just because this sharptooth has stolen him a meal one day. Now they are good friends and are travelling together.
personality: Brave (if he must be), a bit shy and friendly (helpfull)

I'm not sure what size you mean. Is he the size of One of Littlefoot's rear legs, I think GVG said his OC Longtail is about that size. Not sure if that is around Chomper size or not.

By the way, this topic is for creating/discussing your own characters. Assigning LBT characters to people to play them should probably be handled inside the specific RPG's topic.

I think instead of saying xx centimeters, x meters since we are not sure of the size of the characters maybe best to say sometime like: Around Ducky's size, Littlefoot's size, an adult flyer, a bit taller then Littlefoot, an adult Maiasaur, Littlefoot's rear leg, about the height of Littlefoot's back, Half the size of Grandpa Longneck, Cera's dad, ect. That keeps things a bit vague perhaps, but still gives one an idea of size.
Age is likely ok, though one could say around the same as as x character, human equivalent of x, not sure on some other folk's opinions here.

He meets several other species of dinosaurs that have been discovered in the same year that were thought to be extinct. He's very kind,smart,strong, and very larger for his species. He has two large pairs of wings that are colored black. CJ's skin color is blue with a white underside and black spots on his back. Wears gloves that each say PAIN on them and wears black boots & socks as well. His eye color is blue.
Note I was very nervous writing this and their will be more characters to follow. There maybe a fanfiction where he goes back 65 million years and goes to the great valley. Oh if this does happen it will be my first fanfic.

Blue-Eyes
Species : Fastbiter [Deinonychus]
Appearance: Blue scales, Lighter blue chest & belly then sides and back
Age : a teenager
Size : around Ruby's size more or less
He was separated from his family in the earthshake that separated the original gang from their families. He was following their scent once he got back to the spot where they were, hoping to catch up with them. He eventually met Diver and her friends and they helped each other in the various dangers they faced on their journey. He already knew the flatooth language as well as the sharptooth one since his great grandfather learned the flattooth language and came up with the laws his herd now lives by, not eating nor hunting things that can talk, including flatteeth, the exception being if they are attacked first and kill the attacker. They prefer eating fish. There are rivers & a freshwater lake in their territory. His herd includes some flying sharpteeth, the kind that eat fish. Blue-eyes taught his new friends how to whistle so it would carry long distance and the whistle for help, but not anymore of the whistle language that his herd had come up with to communicate when they were separated since it could carry for quite a long distance. His great grandfather came up with the idea of the whistle language himself and added to it over the years.
They eventually caught up with his herd first, which had his family. Due to their helping him his herd made Diver and her friends honorary members of the herd and helped them to get to the combined flattooth herd where their families were as well as teaching them some of their ways. & some of their whistle language they used to communicate when they were separated or needed to call for help. Later he told his herd the whole story of their travel together. One of Deon's older brothers.

A younger brother of Blue-eyes.
He met Diver and her friends first. They encountered his older brother later during their travels & adventure together. He taught them the whistle signal for help, and Diver taught him how to swim.

She was separated by her family in the earthshake, though she feel into the landbreak, she was lucky and landed on a small ledge an the same side as her family had been, not on the other side as Ducky was. She made her way up, freeing a young flyer named Rhyn who had a rock on her and was stuck. By the time they made their way up to the surface their families had moved on. The began following the footprints, encountering a young Maiasaur named Mia, then a young fastbiter named Blue eye who was following the scent of the herd to see if his family was following them. His herd didn't eat most plant eaters, disliking eating things that can talk, one of his great grandparents learning to understand and speak flattooth in his youth. They certainly would never harm young ones, females nor, males who had a mate, or a child to take care of. They preferring to eat other things, fish, creepy crawlers ect, (or scavenging, which blue eye never mentioned)
At first they were frightened, but soon found out he was nice and helped them catch up to their families, who by then had combined to form a combined heard, by following their scent. During their travels he taught them how to whistle so it would carry long distance and how to whistle for help in case they were separated.
Blue eye was also reunited with his family who showed the others where the combined herd was Naming the 3 that Blue Eye had traveled with as honorary members of their herd since they had helped him. With the herd sniffing them to memorize the smell of the 3. She, along with her 2 friends, were taught some of the whistle language used for long distance communication during the travel to close to where their families and the combined herd was. With their help she was able to increase her whistle skill.
Diver, Rhyn, & Mia then were able to quickly find their way to the combined herd and their families about half way to the Great Valley and continued with their families the rest of the way to the Great Valley, arriving before Ducky and the others did [as seen in the 1st movie, with Diver in 2 non speaking & un named cameos]. She's only really told her adventure to her family, same as Mia and Rhyn have only told their families their adventures in getting to the great valley, but no one else. Though she glossed over certain details like being a member of a fastbiter herd & their traveling with a fast biter since it would be to scary or to some not believable enough. Deon told his herd the whole story, of course.

She met Diver and Rhyn a little after they had gotten to the surface and they decided to travel together since it is safer to travel in numbers rather then alone & none of them liked the idea of traveling alone. She easily learned the long distance whistle taught to them by Blue-eye and picked up a few basic words when his herd taught them.
She's only really told her adventure to her family, same as Mia and Rhyn have only told their families their adventures in getting to the great valley, but no one else. Though she glossed over certain details like being a member of a fastbiter herd & their traveling with a fast biter since it would be to scary or to some not believable enough.

Relatives : Unnamed parents and some others, some of who are still alive.

Age : human equivalent to somewhere between 18-22
Size : same size as the female rainbowface in the 7th movie.
Was with her family who lived somewhere to the south of the Great Valley, a great distance away. Some fastbiter herds attacked where her family and others were living and she was separated from her family and wondered for a while. She eventually met up with what survived of her family and they wondered together, staying for a while at Berry Valley before making their way to the Great Valley after they had been hearing about it for a while before, mainly from folks who had never been to it. Until they met some who had been to the Great Valley Before. She has gained knowledge of plants, including ones good for healing, and some interesting bits of knowledge & thought up some stuff on her own.
Note: Decided to make her history less dark. I think I"ll put down Diver's friends also in case I decide to rp them.

They decided to travel together to the surface and then to try to find their families, neither of them liking the idea of traveling alone. & she learned how to do long distance whistle by Blue-Eye, and picked up further skill enhancement during their travel with his herd.
She's only really told her adventure to her family, same as Mia and Rhyn have only told their families their adventures in getting to the great valley, but no one else. Though she glossed over certain details like being a member of a fastbiter herd & their traveling with a fast biter since it would be to scary or to some not believable enough. Diver taught her how to swim during their travel together.

Species: Quetzalcoatlus (perhaps a more realistic looking then the one seen)
Age: around the same age as the gang
Size: Somewhere between the top of Littlefoot's back and his head
Appearance: A dark blue
She is of the same herd as Blue-eyes and Deon. Everyone in the herd, as explained above in Blue-eyes and other entries, know 3 languages, sharptooth, flattooth, and a whistle language designed by Blue-eye's Great grandfather, with some input by Zal, who knew some a little of the whistle language used by Mo's kind, not a lot of it but some she learned in her travels and living in various places including along a beach along the big water. When Blue-eye's great grandfather was recovering from an injury & being cared for by Zal he heard some of her tales of traveling and hearing how the swimmers could talk long distances using a special version of their whistle language (as seen in the 9th movie) got the idea to design something like that for his herd. The 2 worked together, becoming friends. At first it was just a simple signal type language with a few phrases but it became more of a language over time. He also codified the system of laws his herd lives by, and found a large lake area where his herd mainly lives. The herd is a mix of flying sharpteeth, deinonychus & perhaps other types of sharpteeth. Only members of the herd are taught the other 2 languages, and honorary members like Rhyn, Mia, & Diver, who live in what the herd usually calls flattooth valley. Though no one outside of the herd knows Rhyn, Diver, or Mia being honorary members. Though they don't know the whistle language very well, as explained in their entries, and they were not taught the sharptooth language, yet anyway.
Zala is a relative of Zal's, and has learned the 3 languages as well as she could up to her present age. She and her parents have lived in the good sized herd for their lives.

The long distance whistle language thing is not magic. I got the idea since there are whistle languages on earth that some use to communicate over long distances.

Name: Veli
Species: Sharptooth flyer (I forgot the tehnical name.)
Veli is the youngest of his 4 siblings, about 7-9 in human years. When he was young he accidently damaged one of his wings, and slightly impaired his flying abilities. He can fly perfectlly normal, but not as fast or as fancy as he sisters and brother. Veli gets lessons from his parents on how to fly and hunt better, and is determined to prove to his siblings he can be justr as good as them, if not better.

Species : Fastbiter [Deinonychus]
Appearance : Red with a white underbelly and black stripe along his back.
Age : In human years about 14.
Description : No parents, no family, no friends. Hes grown up completely alone which has led him to develop several attributes that others might consider 'strange'. As well as being sarcastic he is quite naive.
I'll consider starting Rp'ing later but this charachters in place ready for if I start.

Two New Characters for "Sharptooth Valley"
1. Rutilas.
Male Tyrannosaurus.
Skin: Green with yellow underbelly, soles, underside.
Eyes: Red.
Rutilas is a large Tyrannosaurus, and the mate of Whiteclaw. He is known for having a very strong bite. Rutilas can be very aggressive. He seems to think that he is a law unto himself at times, and does not always stay loyal to his mate... Each mate is about 28-29 in human years.
2. Whiteclaw
Female Tyrannosaurus.
Skin: Light red (almost pink)
Eyes: Blue.
Whiteclaw is the mate of Rutilas. She is very fast; her speed compliments his strength. Currently, she is pregnant with his eggs.

Calling name: Scarred (He has a scar on left eye and many mental scars)
Gender: Male
Age: Same as Littlefoot
Species: Longneck
Height: Little taller than Littlefoot
Color: Like littlefoots but slightly darker
Personality: Rigo doesn't really talk to anyone and feels like an outsider in the Great Valley.
He lives in a cave in the far corner of the Great Valley where nobody usually comes. His silence
is the work those who he asked to be his friends rejecting and laughing at him.
He walks usually in there Great Valley usually only at the night, so he would not see other dinosaurs.
Background: Rigo was the last hope of his heard as only ones remaining from his heard were his parents. His parents died when a sharptooth attacked them on their journey to the Great Valley.
Qize continued to the Great Valley. In the he got into a fight with a spiketail. In that fight he damaged and got a scar to his left eye. He fleed from the fight and ran to the corner of the Great Valley, found a cave and has lived there ever since.
I will rp him when I find some rp that I find interesting. I'm thinking about writing a fanfic about him.
