Ducky is in the middle of a race to the Roaring Falls between herself and the valley's resident fast runner, Ruby.  Little does Ducky know that Ruby took a shortcut.

Ducky:  "I can't see Ruby!  I think that I will win this race.  I will, I will!"

Meanwhile, at the finish line...

Ruby:  "I wonder where Ducky is?  She is not too fast.  Not too fast she is."

Although the rest of the gang didn't like the fact that her running regime often interfered with their games,  Ducky wanted to be ready for the first-ever Great Valley marathon.
