 SNAKES ON A PLANE  :x  :mad  :x  :mad !?!?!?

I havn't seen it but I already hate it, seen as I love snakes. I despise any movie that presents snakes as man-killers because the people are big fat IDIOTS for not being prepared or protected for if a snake comes around...that includes Anaconda  :x ! I won't watch anything that presents snakes as evil (unless its kids movies like The Jungle Book...because Kaa amuses), or even better Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. But Snakes on a Plane is not my cup of tea. I think people should actually LEARN about animals before making some movie about them...because it would come as incredibly offencive to people like me  <_< . Plus snakes would NEVER be able to get through an airport with the temperatures and all that security. It's nonsense and uneducated  <_<

You just got a taste of how much I care about snakes   :DD ! HIGHLY protective, don't go messing with me about them and I either throw a fit or when I get the chance I curl up somewhere and cry. SO DON'T TRY IT   !

Anyway, welcome  :P:

Hello! Welcome!

I have to agree with Ptyra. I am a snake lover. If my parents would let me, I would already own a snake.

Ask frequently for a year or so  :p ! I asked for over a year and last March I got my ball python (who shed yesterday! YAY  :D !). It works best if your family is with you on the idea of getting a snake. My mom thought it was a good idea, but the times wern't right for a snake   ! Finally while my dad and brothers were camping and I had my Pre UIL for band, my mom took me with my boyfriend to get a snake...and we went through THREE Petcos to get one  :lol ! I was going to get a corn snake, but my mom decided not on getting one because they were INCREDIBLY tiny, skinny and hyper. We were told to get a ball python by one of the workers and I did...and I'm REALLY glad I did after babysitting my neibor's itty-bitty cornsnake   !

Ball pythons are probobly the BEST of all snakes to own. They've lived longer than corn snakes at the petstores (mine was about 6 months old when I got him), REALLY easy to find and handle, grow to be about 4 feet...which means the biggest thing they eat are rats...I'd highly suggest frozen ones for the sake of your snake's health and saftey (never microwave a frozen rodent unless you want a sick snake or a messy microwave that reaks for months  :DD ). And I don't think I'll be able to handle breeding mice/feeding live mice because I RAISED baby mice and the fuzzies look so peaceful, like they're sleeping  :( ! And I don't want to get attatched, which is bound to happen.

You also have to be serious about getting a snake. You gotta save up money for the purpose of buying the snake and the supplies they need (Which is A LOT of money), and be persistant about it! Read, learn, read, learn, don't give up on getting a snake, and realize they're much easier to care for than mammals  :P: (No training, no disiplining, no walking, no baths/grooming, no feeding every single day...just sanitize the cage, change the bottom (I suggest newspaper), clean the assesories, and feed them once a week or so...and they don't give a darn that you've left the house for a week)

I still refuse to  <_< . I won't watch anything about snakes attacking people like crazy  <_< .

I'm writing a book that features snakes as the main characters (with the exception of a rat and mouse), and part of the plot is how bad humans can really be. It's actually about what REALLY happened in Eden (at the beginning) and that the Tree of Knowledge snake (whose name is "Pann" at the beginning, then "Trick") was possessed by a parasetic beelzlebub (Hades). He's gotta do what Hades tells him to do or he'll be stripped of his immortality and get killed as Hades leaves him. It also has where Atlantis really is, what happened to Eden (it broke of Africa thanks to the Kraken and Nessy (whose name is Calypso) when they were fighting) and went south of Ireland), the real reason snakes left Ireland (the good snakes fled; St. Patrick banished the Demon Serpents (Trick's offspring), and where the animals that we wiped out went (South Ireland/Eden, a competely animal inhabited place...every single animal that has lived with humans live there and insects get so big that a 5-foot snake can ride a mantis   ! FUN!), the very first modern animals (which is what Trick, his mate Elsi (that he conned, the poor thing  :( ), his sister Matriophio ('matri' refers to 'mother' and 'ophio' refers to 'snake'...'mother-snake'), and her mate Silcray are Greater serpents, since they were the first snakes).

The main character is a K. Cobra named Prem, who, after humans killed his father, was illegally captured by humans, shipped on a boat, got dreadfully sick, escaped with the help of the rat and mouse, along with a few other snakes, and learns that he is supposed to overcome Trick and reach a very high status in S. Ireland...naturally, he thinks the whole thing's rubbish  :P: ! They know it's him because his eye color is the same as Greater Snakes (purple).

Maybe I should talk about that somewhere else  :P: . But in my book, humans are the only mindless killers. They do help out later in the story, which will be SO much fun to do! I have different ideas for it, but one of them's funny  :D

Hope you having fun.

And sounds like a book idea that can have a lot of comedy in it, perhaps.  But some darkness also.
