In LBT 6, Cera allows Daina and Dina to climb onto her back cuz they were tired.  She yells, "owww!  Don't yank my horns, they're attached ya know"

Did she mean the white things around her head or what?   Those are horns?

I wouldn't consider these to be horns, would you?

Those are just bumbs on her frill. It would seem very much like Cera though to exaggerate (possibly even without being aware of it) things like this. As she claims she is "almost all grownup". I bet it would really make her freak out if anybody ever pointed out that she (unlike much younger Dinah and Dana) sports only one horn :lol

Trish only has one on her horn as well. But I think the twins are male so it must be some sort of small differences between male and female. that my only idea with the kids.

Dinah is not a male name and the only person called Dana I ever met was female too. For some reason bare of any substance I had always assumed them to be one brother and one sister, but the names are both female.

I don't know why, but that made me laugh.  I just wasn't expecting it to be worded like that I guess.

The shortcomings of the non-native speaker I guess
In one story of mine I let dinosaurs refer to Pachyrhinosauruses (Mr. Thicknose's species) as "Bumphorns".
Which word would you have chosen?

I would have probably chosen the same thing or at least something very close to it.  I would hate to write the word "bumphorn" over and over again though.

Why? Is there anything about the word I should know about?

LOL.  No.  It's just a pain to type it on the keyboard.  I keep missing the keys which is unheard of for me.  It's not a common word that I type.

Are you typing with ten fingers? I don't really think there is any word one could not type easily once one has internalized this.
I was worried if perhaps there was some ambiguity of the word bump (similar to the one in the word bang).

LOL.  Nope. That would be horrible if it meant that and you put it in an LBT story!  The english language isn't that complicated except for all of the slang.  Even I have difficulty with it and it's my native language!  I must say that I'm impressed that you are doing so well with it.

Only after some hard learning time
In fact I did have a very bad Faux Pas in one of my earlier attempts to translate an LBT story of mine. Back then I used the word "horny" which I thought to be a perfectly harmless description that something consisted of horn.
