Travel / "Adventuring" / First time leaving for vacation since 2019
« on: July 01, 2021, 07:01:14 AM »
Ever since coronavirus is slowing down in my state, I was figured I was ready to go on vacation, so starting July 28th, I’m leaving for Hampton in New Hampshire.  This is exciting since in 2020, I couldn’t go anywhere at all (other then visiting local restaurants), but wow, vacation, I made it, I can finally go.  Although the sad part is that I’m leaving my bird, Leo, behind, on the day of his birthday, which is at the time I go to New Hampshire, so it will be pretty sad.  However, someone will be taking care of him so I’m not worried…but yeah, first vacation since 2019, “WOOHOO!” (that’s a Chomper quote from the TV series).

General Land Before Time / Re: Score/Rate the sequels
« on: July 01, 2021, 06:36:18 AM »
Ok, I’m going to be rating the sequels now:

1st movie: 5
2nd movie: 4
3rd movie: 4
4th movie: 3
5th movie: 4
6th movie: 2
7th movie: 4
8th movie: 5
9th movie: 2
10th movie: 3
11th movie: 2
12th movie: 1
13th movie: 1
14th movie: 3

As to why I rated the 13th movie a 1, it’s because it did manage to give me chuckles for some reason.  Although due to the yellow bellies being my most hated LBT character (seriously Universal, you used professional voice actors who won many awards star as the yellow bellied?!), I gave this movie a 1.  Sorry if that upsets you… :ChomperEww

Chiming in on the topic now.

I think it stopped airing due to the terrible times and dates in which it aired on Cartoon Network.  I mean, during 2007, new episodes aired on weekdays at around 9:30 am, and that’s a time where kids would be at school, how could they make that premiere in time (they could just record from a VHS tape, but still…).  Then in 2008 when it returned, it’s now aired new episodes on weekdays at 10 am, still isn’t good.  So I kinda think it ended due to bad times in which it aired new episodes (in the US).

Also my opinion on the TV series is good, but some episodes have no plot, either are boring, or is because of the songs, which the lyrics is pretty much a conversation (might have been filler since they really can’t think of anything).  Still, I at least liked some episodes, but not a lot…

Also in case anyone asks me for proof about the times, here’s links to a schedule from 2008, and some 2007 Cartoon Network recordings of the TV series which show the banner (which mentions the time for new episodes).

Petition to make a fourth wall break in LBT real…if Universal makes a 15th film, that is.   :goodluck

Pretty tricky decision, but I would say Cera, probably because her bossy tone helps me provide those laughs coming out of my mouth.  Also, hello to you rhombus!  :rainbowwave

I’m pretty sure one error was in one episode of the TV series (titled The Great Log Running Game) where Cera was reaching the waterfall, and when Littlefoot and Spike went to help, in one scene, Cera and Spike switched places in an continuity error, and the next few frames, Spike was back with Littlefoot.  Hilariously bad if you ask me.  :lol

I do recall Universal releasing An American Tail 2 on Blu-ray, but the 3rd movie was not released on Blu-ray.  I think that only movies that spawned sequels by Universal will only have their theatrical movies released on Blu-ray.  So my response to your question?

 :DD Yes!
 :lol Definitely!
 :wow Absolutely!
(hope you like that Gravity Falls reference…)
