Alright, here's the main gist of what Watership Down is about. It documents a small group of escapee rabbits as they flee from Sandleford Warren, their original home where humans have come and destroyed the land for town development. We join Hazel, Bigwig, Fiver, and some other rabbits as they make their way towards the "lone hill highs", or their new warren, known as Watership Down. Hazel becomes the new chief rabbit of that warren, and an even bigger threat looms over them. General Woundwort, a ruthless dictator and chief rabbit of Efrafa threatens to turn their world upside down, and it's up to the new surrogate group of rabbits to protect their new warren to the very end.
