Thanks! Comments I appreciate a lot since it gives me some much needed feedback on my artwork and also on my literature works as well. I sadly don't get many comments on DA as much as I would like, but I'm at least glad somebody around sites like these will comment on my work.

Currently finished:
*Littlefoot
*Cera
*Ducky
*Petrie
*Spike
*"Egg-Thief"/Younger Ozzy
*Mama Longneck/Littlefoot's Mother
*Original Sharptooth/"Red Claw"
*Rooter

Coming Soon:
*Grandpa Longneck
*Grandma Longneck
*Daddy Tops/Topsy
*Mama Threehorn/Topsy's original wife
*Younger Tria
*Mama Bigmouth/"Mama Swimmer"
*Pterano
*Mama Flyer
*Kosh
*Alpha Domehead
*Movie 1 Cameo Species (Postosuchus, Plateosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Gallimimus, Pterodactylus, Pachycephalosaurus.)

Now then, that schedule out of the way, let's begin with the new uploads I should've gotten to posting last night.

Name: Ozzy
Gender: Male
Species: Struthiomimus altus
Notes:
*Part of his redesign was inspired by Coelophysis. As for why he's included in the Arc 1/Movie 1 roster, he's basically the same exact Egg-Thief that goes after Littlefoot's egg in the original movie. The reason? Just to prevent the generic Egg-Thief from being a wasted character, and also to give Ozzy some extra motivation for his goals; notice the scar he has here as a result of being swatted away just as he grabbed Littlefoot's egg. The picture above, however, actually showcases Chomper's egg and depicts Ozzy as he'll look in Arc 2/Movie 2's plot, with Strut's pic being worked on once every other pic relating to redesigns for Movie 1 characters are finished.
*Also, if you're wondering who ended up swatting away Ozzy to give him the scar; Grandpa Longneck. Basically a reference to one of the GBA Video Games is made with Grandpa Longneck in that he may be old, but out of all of the Longneck Adults, he's the one where Littlefoot gets the unstoppable bravery from even if Grandpa doesn't always give the impression of it and seems genuinely nice and relaxed in nearly every situation. In one of the GBA games, you basically unlock Grandpa as a playable character, and his levels play mostly the same as Littllefoot's... except you're beating up Sharpteeth left and right and quickly discover that Grandpa has many, MANY attack moves to use in the game.

Name: Mama Longneck
Gender: Male
Species: Brontosaurus excelsus
Notes:
*Same species change bit as Littlefoot, so nothing much to say there again. That said, you'll notice Mama Longneck doesn't have the spots Littlefoot has; Bron is the one where Littlefoot gets the spots on his redesign from. In contrast, Littlefoot gets some of his coloration from his mother as well; instead of a more brownish color for Littlefoot, he's a mix of brown (Bron) and gray (Mama Longneck + Grandparents). Also Mama Longneck is going to have a tad bit more expanded upon role in the story since the story gives five years in which the main leads can be developed up until the great earthshake occurs, as unlike the movie, the first timeskip isn't immediately for five years later.

Name: Red Claw ("Original Sharptooth")
Gender: Male
Species: Tyrannosaurus rex
Notes:
*There's a backstory for why his name is Red Claw here, which the name you'll be seeing a lot because of it; Sharpteeth, by default, are honorable hunters of other Dinosaurs that are both feared and respected by all Dinosaurs. Some Sharpteeth, however, wind up killing for reasons far outside of needs to survive, and end up being given the name "Red Claw" as a name to disgrace them from other Sharpteeth, as these particular Sharpteeth lack the honorable traits of the average Sharptooth individual. Note that not every Sharptooth antagonist gets dubbed the name Red Claw by default; only the ones that display more signs of malice in intent get this dishonor.

Name: Rooter
Gender: Male
Species: Placerias hesternus
Notes:
*I started with his hind legs and tail first, designing him after Moschops since Rooter's original species would no longer invoke the same overall design as he had in his only appearance. However, I quickly learned that using Moschops broke my rules (only using species that were alive during the Mesozoic Era), and thus I changed him into a Placerias by designing the rest of his body after Placerias instead, complete with tusks. I kept his tail unchanged since the current tail gave the impression of the redesigned Rooter being old and such as he should be.

The Fridge / I Don't Know Who I Am
« on: April 20, 2016, 08:39:04 PM »
Having somehow managed to lose 12.8 lbs between yesterday and six weeks prior, I recall how I had looked from prior to the latter half of my 8th Grade years in life. I was very chubby back then as a kid due to my diet issues, which I still pretty much have today since I'm a picky eater. However, during 8th Grade, I had used my own imagination to find excuses to get onto my bicycle while I still had it to ride outside around my neighborhood and the nearby apartment complex, streets, and my old middle school area before it became a construction site as it is now with the old building demolished.

Not only that, but even gaming wise I feel like I've changed. Back in the day, I would play just about any type of game I could get my hands on save for JRPGs. Nowadays, I feel like JRPGs are the only games I can truly play anymore. I'm growing out of it mind you, but much of this has to do with the fact my discs for my older games are beginning to no longer work, my N64 cartridges are beginning to weaken in capabilities and some of the games getting lost, and the various N64 controllers getting damaged further and further every time they're momentarily brought out of retirement.

That said, ever since High School, I somewhat grew into a rather depressed and often cynical person on the inside of my mind, but only very rarely showcasing this on the outside. When High School first began, I was still the failure I was in Middle School who couldn't get homework done on time, and I was first put into classes that posed too many problems for me. Plus my first English teacher at that school pulled stuff out of his *** when he said I apparently had a reading assignment over the prior summer... when I had no such thing in reality.

As a result of the above, my next classes in High School were changed to far easier classes and that's when I finally began to slowly, and slowly mature into a responsible person. If I had homework I needed to get done, that would be my priority before the day would end and nothing else would get in my way until it was done. As a result, for the remainder of High School, I had my time at home free of school work because I succeeded in doing all of my homework before having to go home and my work gets turned in with solid grades. High School was both the worst experience for me but also the best time for me since I had did better academically here than any other school I had been to.

As a result, and with what events in life would latter happen after High School, I had grown up into a more responsible, mature individual who I could barely recognize as the same kid I was prior to High School. Was this change for the better? Absolutely. Do I sometimes miss my old life? Yes. Back then, I had friends in school with both teachers and students alike; when High School came around, I had basically isolated myself from everyone just to focus on school work. I had even just barely managed to score a girlfriend for about two years towards the end of High School, but after those two years she broke up with me for rather pathetic reasoning and I was left rather broken as a person because I had soon realized how much I was exploited by the one girl I had been the most closest to in real life or anywhere else.

That said, I do feel like I've been a person has changed in my life as well. Sometimes change just sort of happens no matter who you are, for the better or for the worse.

Having an old-school N64 night?
N64 eh? I've got a cheat for those who play the shoot out mini-games on Banjo-Tooie for retro multiplayer nights.

When you go to gather eggs, so long as the normal blue eggs and grenade eggs are obtainable, there's a little glitch you can activate. Basically, mid-firing eggs while you're firing off the blue eyes while holding down the Z-button will cause the next egg type you select to have the same exact fire rate as the blue eggs for a while. The purpose of this?

Grenade eggs have among the slowest fire rates in the game, and have a recoil animation to demonstrate this. So, basically, while you're in the middle of firing blue eggs and holding down the button for firing them, and you have absolutely no fire eggs present in your ammo inventory, you can switch to the grenade eggs mid-firing and fire grenade eggs at the exact same firing speed as blue eggs.

With this exploit, you can easily decimate players who use either Jinjo or Gruntilda as their player character. Gruntilda due to her being the slowest but having the highest HP, and Jinjo due to its small size and insane speed. Just be careful not to run out of eggs for both types; grenade eggs only have a cap of 1/4th of the maximum for blue eggs' cap after all (25 grenade eggs compared to 100 blue eggs).

Also, I haven't tested this in single player just yet, but if you're having a pain with Mr. Patch as he gets smaller with less hits left til he perishes, you can possibly use this exact same tactic to ensure you land hits on all of the remaining weak spots on Mr. Patch. Not sure if you can do the same with Lord Woo Fak Fak though, considering he's underwater. I DO, however, know that you can pretty much demolish Terry faster than the K-Pg Extinction Event with this exploit. You will absolutely decimate Terry with this it's not even funny (seriously, it isn't; she isn't even evil like the other bosses).

Silver Screen / GOOD things about BAD movies

Quote from: WeirdRaptor,Apr 20 2016 on  06:35 PM
We're talking about bad things in good movies. Get on topic, please.
Actually the topic title says we're talking about good things in bad movies (plus he was referring to "We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story" when he had posted that), so I'll just bring up my next personal example. This one is going to be controversial to Godzilla fans to say the least, since this is speaking more positively about the 1998 Film.

Admittedly, the 1998 film doesn't hold up as much nowadays, especially when compared to not just the 2014 film, but also when compared to the sequel animated series as well. However, if anything, Godzilla's Power Breath attack in the 1998 film did serve as some minor foreshadowing for something that would be brought back for the animated series; the Atomic Breath.

See, the thing about the original Godzilla in the 1998 film is, because of it being the very first of its kind, it lacks much of the attributes associated with Godzilla in regards to abilities such as durability and attacks. This is very simple because the mutations it had gone through were only just enough to produce the 60 meter tall, Theropod-like animal we know of the creature today.

By the time of the animated series, there were offspring within the film that never had a chance to mature. Offspring of mutated animals have a chance to differ even drastically from the parent basically. The Godzilla that later goes on to star in the animated series has several noteworthy traits. Larger size, increased durability, regeneration, highly intelligent, sterile, and of course, the Atomic Breath, and combined with the abilities it would naturally inherit from the parent, such as the burrowing, the agility, and the overall body structure.

In other words, the Godzilla from the 1998 is simply meant to "bridge the gap" between a Marine iguana and the Godzilla we see in Godzilla: The Series. It was never intended to so much as survive the end of the film; it did exactly what it needed to do by producing offspring on its own and having at least one of said offspring survive in the end, and thus said offspring puts the God back into Godzilla as a result of this as we see come true in the animated series.

The Scorpion King was one of the most awful action movies to hit theatres but...

Alright, "The Rock" has an absolute blast playing the hero and I had a fricking blast watching him.

The whole movie was campy and over-the-top and completely impossible to take with ANY seriousness whatsoever. If you aren't looking for anything great, you know what, this movie was entertaining as hell.

Definitely one of the corniest action movies you'll ever see but this movie seems to know that and adjusts accordingly. The badasses are badass, the comedy is all over the place and the story is absolutely insane. It's too much fun to call "bad" even though on paper it's pretty horrible.  :p
My dad actually loves watching movies from that franchise. Not sure what he thinks of them, but almost every time he gets the chance when they're on TV he'll watch them.

As for another example about a bad movie I find some good things in, there's this movie we all know called Jurassic Park III. Now, bare in mind, anything good about this movie was negated long after I had first seen the film as a kid. HOWEVER, when I had seen the film as a kid, I had never seen a battle between a Tyrannosaurus and another Dinosaur in which Tyrannosaurus flat out loses in a one on one fight. Also, I had even rarely seen other predatory Dinosaurs go up against Tyrannosaurus either. So seeing the newcomer Spinosaurus show up in the movie and outright kill the T. rex was astounding to me as a kid, and it showed me that Tyrannosaurus wasn't always an "invincible" type of Dinosaur in media.

That said, however, I do believe Dino Crisis 2 ended up handling this situation a lot more better even if Dino Crisis 2 had also exaggerated the Giganotosaurus that kills the T. rex. Why does Dino Crisis 2 hold up more than the above mentioned JPIII fight? Because Giganotosaurus could very well have mauled Tyrannosaurus if they ever met so long as Tyrannosaurus didn't manage to pull off the instant kill neck bite.

Also, another thing I enjoyed about JPIII was how they depicted Pteranodon when it was on the ground; walking on all fours. I didn't see this rendition of Pteranodon prior to this movie, so this was ultimately just as big of news to me as seeing Pteranodon diving into water like Gannets in Jurassic World.

Land Before Time TV Series (2007) / What makes a better final episode?
« on: April 19, 2016, 07:39:21 PM »
Again, TTEOTS wins out because the last episode of a Season or any show in general should always have a rather distinct feel to it. As in, feel like something different was done compared to prior episodes, or have something major accomplished by the cast. Or, in some cases, a much tougher obstacle/enemy crosses paths with the protagonists in the Finale of a Season/Series and serves to prove how far the protagonists had advanced based on how they end up dealing with this threat of sorts.

TGEA didn't feel like it accomplished anything major; it just felt like an ordinary episode with a few characters from the movies returning to guest star in the episode. We've had plenty of episodes like those already, so it was familiar territory. TTEOTS, on the other hand, is the ONLY time we get to see Spike having actual "dialogue" because of the fact, as the episode title suggests, we see things through his viewpoint and thus his thinking gets translated into dialogue outright. As a result, the episode felt like it accomplished something major; by giving Spike an actual major speaking role outside of a single word only moment of dialogue like in Movie 4 or Movie 8.

Silver Screen / Batman v Superman
« on: April 19, 2016, 11:54:29 AM »
Personally I had wished we got no less than three films before we got this movie and then Justice League afterwards. Kind of like this:

*Superman film.
*Batman film.
*Wonder Woman film.
*Batman V Superman.
*Justice League.

Would that have been so hard to do? No. Not it would not. The first three films would give us all introductions to the three superheroes used in Batman V Superman all the while providing necessary buildup towards anybody else who'll be prominent in Justice League.

While several notable people consider We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story to be bad, I actually personally enjoyed the movie. It doesn't exactly hold up well entirely, yes, but it does have a general likable cast of characters, an interesting villain (with a deleted scene I had wished they had kept in), and a generally like Neweyes for how nice and friendly the guy is towards others.

LBT Fanart / MightyFan217's Fanart Thread
« on: April 19, 2016, 12:13:57 AM »
For a future posting of a fanfiction I'm working on for The Land Before Time. Basic synopsis; the original movie and the sequels are being retold in my own image based around how the tone of the original film was with the darker aspects and themes, all the while adding my own flare to the plots based around both the original film and the sequels. In addition, because of the sequels having been around for a while now (sans Journey of the Brave which was over a month ago), there will be additional foreshadowing and plot points that begin all the way in the first film's adaptation arc. There are, of course, a few simple ground rules, some of which I'll post below that relate to the redesigns I'll post in this topic alone. The complete list of "ground rules" will be in the fanfic's topic when I ultimately post that.

*Some characters are very easily liable to change in species, be it simply subspecies, genus, or flat out type of animal altogether.
*Not part of the normal ground rules, but this fanart thread may or may not include OCs relating to the story whether or not I feel like posting them.
*None of the characters are intended as being scientifically accurate in appearance, movements, or anything else relevant to such by default.

Alright, those out of the way, let us begin with the star; Littlefoot!

Name: Littlefoot
Gender: Male
Species: Brontosaurus excelsus
Notes: Genus was changed to Brontosaurus as a reference to Bron's name, and also to celebrate Brontosaurus once again being a valid genus. Also given some spots since both he, Bron, and Mama Longneck are given different coloration from their canon selves; all of the Dinosaurs are more colorful and have distinct patterns on their designs. For contrast, Littlefoot's eyes and belly color are from his mother, and his overall body color is from Bron. Also worth noting is that Bron is given a mention in the Movie 1 Arc of the fanfic, as the story goes out of its way to reference future sequels in regards to foreshadowing and such whenever necessary.

Name: Cera
Gender: Female
Species: Triceratops prorsus
Notes: Has visible brow horns due to the fact all five main leads plus the additional sixth OC lead have the appearance of teenagers rather than kids for reasons akin to the fact they're much larger than their canon selves despite being the same age, and thus they were drawn to look older to be more in line with their larger size when compared to adults of their own kind. You'll notice this a lot with Spike's redesign. Meanwhile, Cera was changed into T. prorsus simply due to the fact T. horridus is used in media way too much in comparison; everyone else, in contrast, also ended up getting changed into a larger species/genus sans Littlefoot who was changed due to a different reason instead. Her new coloration involves a lot of black and dull purples, since that's pretty much much more accurate to Topsy and her mother. Speaking of her mother, the fanfic explains her and her non-older siblings as having perished by falling into the ground with several other Dinosaurs.

Name: Ducky
Gender: Female
Species: Saurolophus angustirostris
Notes: Was changed into her larger species as a means of reinforcing her redesign making her look larger and older much like the others, as personally Ducky was far too small compared to her mother in the actual canon; she looked practically unchanged from her infantile self at the beginning of the first movie to make matters worse. Her coloration changes from a dull yellow/green to a more vibrant green mixed in with reddish orange markings and green eyes. Also while her father is alive but has a minor role in the movies, her father is killed off in the fanfic by unknown means before Sharptooth arrives and begins to eat considering while not noticed at first, Ducky's dad was lying dead already long before Sharptooth or Ducky had found his body sometime after the Great Earthshake had occurred. Also, as for how Ducky gets her name, a bunch of Gansus constantly muttering the word "Ducky" over and over repeatedly where in the area when she had hatched. At first she confused the word for what the birds are, but then began calling herself Ducky when they directed their attention towards her and continued saying the word over and over. Also, yes, the birds' chanting of a single word over and over are a reference to the Seagulls from Finding Nemo.

Name: Petrie
Gender: Male
Species: Geosternbergia sternbergi
Notes: All Pterosaurs eat either insects, fish, or meat in the fanfic. No exceptions and which of the three depends on the species in question. Petrie eats fish as to be expected. Also, as for the genus change, fun fact about that. I designed his appearance before I double checked Pteranodon's head crest varieties, and I ended up accidentally drawing Petrie with a crest associated solely with Geosternbergia instead of one for Pteranodon. Also worth noting is that Pterano is changed from being Petrie's uncle to being his father, as to give an explanation as to what happened to Petrie's father and also considering Pterano pretty much looks more akin to an older Petrie in looks, and if it wasn't for the word uncle being thrown around in Movie 7, I would've otherwise kept calling Pterano as Petrie's dad as a kid since this was also the first time I had ever seen an adult relative of Petrie that was male (indicated by the head crest and such). Also, due to the genus change, Pterano's head crest is also going to get modified as well to a much more vibrant matured version of Petrie's head crest. Also worth noting is that Pterano's role during the events of the original movie are referenced in the Movie 1 Arc by Petrie when he's asked about how he had gotten separated (since Petrie can fly just fine right off of the bat here).

Name: Spike
Gender: Male
Species: Stegosaurus ungulatus
Notes: Spike actually can talk; he just chooses not to after having been traumatized by the death of his own herd at the hands of Sharptooth, since he believes so much as making a single sound will alert his Sharptooth to his presence. Spike showcases the most physical development among the redesigns, although only Petrie is actually older than the canon depictions of the original five. Spike is also older and has a different introduction than his canon self for obvious reasons. His big appetite remains intact, though. Him being adopted into Ducky's family also remains intact.

1988 Theatrical Release / The original movie is on Netflix now!
« on: April 18, 2016, 11:49:01 PM »
Was watching the film in a single sitting while working on some fanart redesigns for a TLBT AU/Reboot fanfic, which include the Gang of Five, Sharptooth, and an OC. The film still holds up in regards to being a good film by all accounts, but I've noticed some rather unusual things about it when compared to the sequels regarding the Gang of Five. I understand this is their original debut and all, but it feels weird to me with what is different regardless of the context of the situation they're in, since all of them probably went through worse later on in the series considering some of the stuff that happens later (particular The Big Freeze comes to mind).

Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis (PS2 Version).

When starting up an Operation Genesis file, make sure your starting Dig Site is the one from the Jurassic (Dryosaurus, Ceratosaurus, and Stegosaurus) and immediately begin dig site excavation in that location until you have all three Dinosaurs at 100% DNA.

When your Star Rating increases, unlock the next two Dig Sites for the Jurassic Period. Do the same as above, and breed all EXCEPT Dilophosaurus (hails from a different temporal range as the other Jurassic Period Dinosaurs) and Kentrosaurus (doesn't like Brachiosaurus in the same pen) into your park and place all the herbivores in the same pen while leaving the two carnivores separate.

Have no less than two Allosaurus in the same enclosure, and ensure that, before breeding Dinosaurs, all DNA for that particular species is at 100% (more DNA extracted for a species gives a  longer lifespan, which is vital for saving money on specimen replacements).

With this setup, you'll have every Dinosaur in the park necessary to please all guest types and avoid any inter-species issues with the herbivores. You'll also be capable of achieving a Five Star park with this setup as well. Due keep in mind one thing, is that even though the above setup is built with the three dig site limit of the PS2 Version in mind, this'll also work for the Xbox and PC Versions.

General Land Before Time / Sequels Personal Ranking
« on: April 01, 2016, 08:54:44 PM »
(Note: There will be some spoilers ahead for those who have yet to see Journey of the Brave, but also keep in mind I'm a lot different from most of the others regarding my opinions on the various sequels now that I've grown up in age. Just keep that in mind)

1. The Great Longneck Migration (Normally I'm a huge fan of Topsy, but this big of a twist regarding Littlefoot's development was simply too good to pass up considering we finally get to see who Littlefoot's dad is. Also the plot handled itself very well as to the fact Littlefoot does NOT immediately accept Bron in his life the moment he meets him the first time in his life. That's actually rather mature how they went about handling it, although Bron could've added in that he thought the Great Valley was an urban legend as to why he didn't go to the Great Valley. Not much other problems otherwise)

2. Invasion of the Tinysauruses (I LOVE the introduction of Tria here, and how her introduction continues Topsy's change as a character as a result. I'm a huge fan of Topsy here considering my childhood worship of Triceratops as a whole, so seeing Topsy get some additional development here was a huge plus. Personally I didn't expect more than Tria's introduction and her relationship with Topsy, considering that... well... it's pretty clear that both Topsy's wife and whatever few siblings Cera had are either missing outright or dead by this point)

3. The Great Day of the Flyers (I love the fact they introduce an obscure species of gliding Dinosaur here, as to showcase that, yes, Dinosaurs have feathers in some species. Nowadays pretty much all of them have feathers, but while Guido is technically not the first non-Avian Dinosaur shown in the series with feathers, he does hold the distinction of being the first in the movies. Once again, love the Topsy development here, but I have to rank this one lower because it's not as prevalent to the plot in this one. Spinosaurus also feels rather shoehorned in on this one as well)

4. The Time of the Great Giving (The first movie to develop Topsy as a character, and with the introductions of the bullies, it's ultimately TOPSY who has a role in getting the bully trio redeemed; he witnesses himself when Hyp's father shows up, using the exact same lines he did earlier with Cera, and who chews out Hyp's Dad? The big ole' Threehorn himself does. I will admit, Velociraptor in place of the usual Utahraptor feels odd considering these are by all means THE most threatening Fast Biters in the entire franchise by far.)

5. The Stone of Cold Fire (Not as much Topsy development here, but his hatred for Pterano, and what we learn of the latter further in, at least justifies some of his behavior; he's scared out of his wits of another Dinosaur doing the same mistake as Pterano did from before they arrived in the Valley. Pterano himself isn't all that bad either, and the Rainbow Face's snarky commentary to the other adults I worship mainly because they can not only put up a good argument to Topsy, but also keep him from coming up with a clever comeback at the same time! The Rainbow Faces in this movie are also an inspiration for one of the prominent, yet secret, species in Chronicles of Paleus as well!)

6. The Mysterious Island (Chomper is back, good news. Giganotosaurus as the main antagonist? Oh, boy... lemme guess he's going to face the two Tyrannosaur parents and- OH MAN THAT'S BRUTAL! Never before was I actually this impressed by the sequels for outright showcasing bloodshed when even the first movie had attempted to shy away from that! Congrats! You have my attention here, movie!)

7. Journey Through the Mists (As a kid when I saw previews for this movie on Cartoon Network, I was very confused as to why a "second Littlefoot" was present. When I actually saw the movie for myself, I had my question answered regarding Ali and then the oddball hilarity of Ichy and Dil as the two Sharpteeth for the movie. Feels rather weird seeing two Sharpteeth characters speak the same language as the other characters in all honesty, but it did feel interesting because a certain Japanese Anime Movie which I would later worship is helped because of this factor...)

8. The Great Valley Adventure (Aside from the catchy "Eggs" song, and the introduction of Chomper, I'm not letting my nostalgia blind me here; how did Chomper's Parents get into the valley at all? How did they know their egg was stolen and taken here in the first place? Why were the omnivorous Struthiomimus treated as bad guys when they need the food to eat in the first place? Why the strictly egg diet Ozzy keeps insisting on when that alone wouldn't sustain them? Why aren't the parents doing anything about the two egg thieves yet do pretty much all the work for the two Tyrannosaurus rex adults? This film just confuses me in the end, but I still like it... somewhat)

9. The Secret of Saurus Rock (Now you're probably wondering; why isn't this higher on the list due to Dinah and Dana? They're both nieces to Cera, and thus grandchildren to Topsy on a technical level, so why is this so low? Because unlike the above examples of development for Topsy... this goes absolutely nowhere and is never spoken of again. Bron himself I didn't really feel interested in... uuuntil the end in which we see him and Grandpa Longneck tag team a T. rex and Allosaurus and FINALLY have it so the adults are the one solving the crisis for once, since their battle with the two Sharpteeth net them a tooth to repair Saurus Rock with!)

10. Journey of the Brave (I was going into this movie with some rather high expectations given the leaks alone. Considering Bron went missing, I was expecting one thing and one thing only that would've skyrocketed this film to Number 1 had it occurred; for Bron to be killed off. The audacity to make that decision would've easily made this film to be my favorite of the sequels; because it just goes to show how easily any of the characters could die by doing what they do in their lives, just like how the original movie proved this. My ultimate disappointment is the fact they... don't really do anything major in this movie aside from introducing Wild Arms, who is a MUCH better designed Dinosaur than the Yellow Bellies)

11. Journey to Big Water (Liopleurodon... why do you constantly get hyped up as the biggest marine reptile predator of the Mesozoic? We ALL know that it's actually Mosasaurus who was this, and that was AGES before Jurassic World made the latter famous for it. So basically we have a rather poor attempt to create a situation where Littlefoot and the gang are interacting with sea based animals... which only makes me question just how stable the land of the Great Valley actually is, which the raising of questions but no actual answers leaves me disappointed here. As for Mo, well... he's a mixed bag. He was unique for being a marine reptile... but the good ends there. He was annoying otherwise)

12. The Big Freeze (To be honest, this was one of my favorites as a kid; not anymore. As the second worst, in my opinion, the film itself is... rather boring. It does bring up some valid questions regarding Spike's inner psych, but doesn't do much with them because it wouldn't be until the TV Series did we get to hear Spike "speak" full blown sentences. Aside from the plot with the Spiketails, this film was just incredibly boring and didn't feel very good in terms of lasting appeal. It seems to rely mostly on a gimmick, this one being snow and winter, to get viewers into it)

13. The Wisdom of Friends (**** off, Yellow Bellies, I was GLAD to write a scene where these buggers got to be killed off by mystic explosion due to Xilariz's Tek Bow arrows. I hate the Yellow Bellies for a variety of reasons, but also the fact this movie ended up using toilet humor which is a type humor I've grown to despise nowadays, mainly because it's nothing but pandering to a low, young aged audience. The Baryonyx should've at least left a mark on the entire herd and the Gang of Five, considering they had numbers on their side. What happens? The Sharpteeth are no big deal, despite having faked a death earlier in the movie, and the film doesn't end on a very climatic note either. Oh, and what I absolutely hated about the Yellow Bellies here gave me plenty of reason to bump of JotB to its spot on the list; Wild Arms)

ALL MY YES. Wild Arms is the type of Dinosaur that the Yellow Bellies should've been to begin with; same overall build, but unlike the latter group, Wild Arms actually LOOKS like a Dinosaur!

Kind of feels odd how they have two non-Dromaeosauridae, carnivorous Theropods in the same movie to be honest. Unless it's a special occasion, there should really just be a single species of larger sized Theropod in the same movie at once.
