No, most people are able to speak English, but it remains our second language. Dutch is the default for communicating, but people switch to English as soon as they notice the other party does not understand what is being said.

Yeah several! My ex used to take me to metal concerts/festivals so a bunch of bands in that category. None that I have particularly amazing memories of though, just meh
