What would they call Ruby?

I was looking over my fanfiction and found a rather shocking thing. You all know how the charcters have simplistic names for the different types of dinosaurs, right? (ie. Longneck, Threehorn, Swimmer, Flyer, etc.)

However, as I've watched the TV Series, I've noticed that they have yet to give one to Ruby and found it missing from my story. What are they supposed to call her anyways?

So, let's discuss this. What would they call her species anyways?

Yet, that would make her an "egg-napper", but she doesn't do that, so it wouldn't work. -_-

I beileve in one episode she is called a fast runner....and I think another point is made in 'The Bright Circle Celebration' when she says "I sure am glad I'm faster at running."

This thread surprises me. I was going to start yelling if The Great Valley Guardian hadn't beat me to the punch here.

But, yeah, I think her kind are called fast-runners.

yea... I mean oviraptors could easily qualify as "egg-nappers" but I heard she was a Fast-Runner before the show was released, (via Wikipedia) so I'd imagine that's always been the idea for her title

Ruby is a fast runner. Watch the episode where Chomper loses his tooth: when Ducky goes in the mud pool, she refers to Ruby as a Fast Runner when she is talking to Cera.

Fast runner = ??? Always looked like a cartoonified version of Ozzie (or oviraptor).

Fast-runner is, in fact, a spoken line on the TV series. In the episode "Bright Circle Celebration", Ruby even refers to her 'running'.

Solution:

In LBT2, the gang referred to them as Egg-nappers. I will agree with the theory that "egg-nappers" is not a known name for these dinosaurs. I am under the impression that the parents of the Gang taught them the "real" term (egg eater) and explained to them what how they live and what they intended to do.

Based on that, "egg eater" is probably more correct than "egg napper" when it comes to describing Ozzie and Strut's species anyway.

That being said, yes, Ruby is a Fast Runner.

Yes I agree Ruby is a fast-runner, it like the ones with the domes on their heads and Ducky on the TV series call them 'Dome Heads' when they take of treestars on the episode caves of many voices.
