I'm just going to put down a list of the song from each movie I disliked, just for the heck of it.
LBT: None - because the only song in it is the best song in the LBT franchise
LBT II: Eggs - I'm sorry, but even though I really enjoy Ozzy and Strut as characters, that song was a little pointless to me. Yes, I realize that it was meant to show why Ozzy has to have eggs, but I just didn't like the tune. Also, I didn't really like how he kept insulting Strut throughout the song. Yes, it's not the first or last time, but I just really didn't like it that much.
LBT III: Tough and When You're Big - I didn't like either of these songs. When You're Big had a bad tune, the lyrics were kind of lame, and Mutt and Nod didn't really make good back up singers. Also, I applaud Threehorn getting a song, but Tough was also kind of stupid. To me, it came off as nothing more than a boost for his ego.
On a side note, I actually really liked Kids Like Us. Scott McAfee had a really nice singing voice, and it was a heck of a lot better than the other two.
LBT IV: Who Needs You? - Really? This is the song that ruined villain songs for me. It's not even really a song. The majority of the time they are speaking the lyrics, and the lyrics are REALLY lame.
I also really liked It Takes All Sorts. Sure Ali is not the best singer, but still the message is strong, and it was the last song with the voices of Littlefoot, Cera, and Ducky, and they all did a really nice job. I also really loved Grandma's Lullaby. I was very happy she got a song, and it was beautiful.
LBT V: Big Water - I don't really hate the song, but I don't like it as much as the other two songs. The tune is kind of catchy, the cast did a nice job singing it, but nowhere near as good as Always There. Also, it wasn't as fun and playful as Friends for Dinner, but then again that's because the song was meant to display their fears.
LBT VI: Bad Luck - I'm sorry, but not even Spike's awesome singing could save this. The song was completely pointless. I mean, sure Lone Dinosaur was kind of dumb, but at least it was telling a legend. This was just saying, "Oh this is bad luck, and that is bad luck," WE GOT IT!
LBT VII: None - All three songs I enjoyed. Sure maybe Good Inside was not the best, but it was still good. Pterano's song saved the villain songs for me. Who knew Michael York could sing?
LBT VIII: The Lesson - Pretty much the same reasons as everybody else. I was originally going to say Mad, but that song has some pretty funny moments in it despite the mediocre tune. The Lesson was just terrible.
LBT IX: Big Water - The first time a song was redone in a sequel, and it was nowhere near as good as before. Why were they singing it like they were happy? Last time they were scared to death of it. It just didn't sound good at all.
LBT X: None - I enjoyed these songs as well. Adventuring was only good in this movie. The dad song was nice also, even though maybe this Littlefoot's voice was not the best singing voice. It was nice that he was finally reflecting on finding his dad. Bestest Friends is my second favorite song in the franchise. It is so sweet yet sad at the same time, because you didn't know what Littlefoot was going to do at the time.
LBT XI: Creepy Crawlies: You wonder why the adults never got songs? This is why. Not counting Grandma's Lullaby in IV, the adults just don't have good singing voices, and the tune was terrible! Now granted, Grandpa Longneck in If Only was tolerable.
LBT XII: Flip, Flap, Fly - Again, for the same reasons as everybody else. The cameos were I guess kind of nice, but at the same time, it was like "Why were they there?". I wasn't that fond of One of a Kind either, but it wasn't as bad as this.
LBT XIII: Yellowbelly Song and Say So - I think these two songs tie with the two I chose for LBT III as the worst songs of the sequels. The Yellowbelly Song was completely pointless, the dance looked stupid, and just everybody's voices didn't sound that good. Say So was just plain annoying, and the lyrics were a bit stupid in parts. Thank god How Do You Know saved the songs from being completely disgraceful.
TV Series: Oops Eeps - Now there are A LOT of songs from the TV series that I don't like, but this one takes the cake. The lyrics were flat out chlidish, the characters dancing to it looked stupid, the tune was god annoying, and it just left me with the thought of why the heck was it ever written in the first place.
Anyway, that's what I thought of the songs from each movie. I know it's a lot, but I couldn't bash on one song without bashing all of them.
