I also don’t appreciate the implication of alternative realities. We have enough problems in this dimension.”

He has violated a long list of time and dimension related laws and the forces from Chronopolis are here for 1 reason and one only- Chongs complete utter and permanent destruction in this existence.
Now there is going to be a squad from there setting up shop in the nearby town of Hogsmeade. I want everyone here to assist them in any way they can. There will also be forces spread across Pottermore trying to track Chong down. . I am looking for volunteers to assist with these forces,, to assist in any way possible with recon and intelligence and your fighting abilities and powers should we be successful in locating him.

As you said, however, it is the harshest possible penalty for a reason, imposed when there is no alternative, or at least when your organization feels there is no alternative.
