(Between the Worlds)
The mouse sat behind the controls of his ship. A vast lightshow of color flashed outside the window in front of him. The glow might have been blinding where it not for the tinting of the glass-like gummi.
Mickey wore his normal wardrobe which consisted of a red shirt and phants. A pair of large yellow shoes covered his feet. White gloves covered his hands as they removed the wrapper from a piece of sea-salt ice cream.
He licked the cold blue treat and mmm'ed. He glanced back at the empty compartment of his ship. The mouse desparately wished he could have brought someone along, but Donald and Goofy were needed to gaurd the castle and it was too dangerous for Minnie to come.
With a resigned sigh, he glanced at the coordinates displayed on the screen built into the panel in front of him. It would be a few more minutes before he arrived at his next destination.
(Radient Garden)
A frown hung on Raven's face as he walked down the stone street. This world had been bright and new when he first arrived, but like everything it lost its lusture after he learned about it.
He passed by the wall that had been torn apart during the battle against an organization of Nobdies. There were no physical remains of the destruction that day had wrought. The Restoration Committee had gone their job quite well.
Ascending the steps two at a time, he entered the outskirts of the town. He glanced down at the small wooden buildings below. Though he found it hard to think of them as buildings, the mighty fortresses and castles in his world made them look like piles of firewood.
Raven hopped onto a thick railing of stone and inhaled, pulling in the cool morning air. He sighed, the air at least reminded him a bit of home. With a skip forward, he dropped from the railing and down amongst the buildings.

(pridelands" two lions raced away from the large that dominated area " Rafiki!' roared a large male lion " Get us out of here- NoW!" he yelled as he and his partner, Vitani tried to flee the pitch blackness that had enveloped the seat of his father- Simba. Kopa was Simba's son, he was a couple years older than his younger sister Kiasra, but due to an attempt assassination by the Outsidfders, namely , Zira, Kopa had been forced to flee the Pridelands. Taken in by a old Babboon Nuteri, he had grown to aadulthood, and returned to the Pridelands. He had been proclaimed the next in line and Vitani, who he had befriended as a cub, had shown interest in beiing his queen. All that was changed now..

(Radiant Garden)
Far beyond the outskirts of town, a small mass of Heartless began gathering, swarming towards the undefended outskirts, intent on devouring the hearts of all those who resided in the small, wooden buildings. However, as they began to advance, a burst of dark red-black light appeared, and a black-cloaked figure stepped out of it. The figure stood silently, watching their advance, before, in a quiet undertone, it spoke.
"Heartless...Vile, hollow things...your time in this place...is at an end."
It said, flicking a dark-furred arm out from within the cloak, seven katana swords appearing in a circle behind it. In a flash, it lunged through the mass of them, moving swiftly enough that the Heartless barely had time to react before they were sliced apart. The figure stood, twirling one of it's swords and sheathing it, before turning towards the castle...
"Now...time to begin my mission..."
It muttered, vanishing in another flash of light...

(Verdant Forest)
Adrian, the young fox, sat on a tree branch, strumming a harp idly.
"Adrian! Come down from that tree over there! We're going to be late!"
Robin Hood, the legendary outlaw of Sherwood Forest, called to him. He vaulted idly out of the tree, landing on the ground with barely any sound, and replied.
"Yes, yes. Coming Robin!"
He grabbed his bag, placing the harp back in it. Today was the one-year celebration of King Richard's return, and the entire band of Merry Men were traveling into the castle for the festival.
I know I should be glad for this, but...why do I feel such an ill wind blowing...?"
Adrian thought as he sprinted off...

(Radiant Garden)
Out where the 1,000 Heartless battle had once taken place, something shot from the sky, like a missle as it struck the ground, creating a meteor hole in the process.
As the smoke cleared from the hole in the ground, something stood up, a demon, a female one for that matter. She took a moment to look around and gave her neck a small crick before stepping forward, out of the crater in the ground.
"Sora....he should be here somewhere, you must search out this wretched place and find him....and put an end to his life, the Heartless, they must continue to grow more powerful" a voice inside the demon's head spoke.
The demon silently obliged and took to the skies, heading towards the town centre in hopes of finding Sora....or at least, a Keyblade weilder.

Sara, Brooklyn and Gnash (Nashville, though he proffered the name Gnash) were on their way back to Castle Wyvern. They had been out on patrol, with Sara visiting and using some illusion spells to make them look human temporarily, had had a bit of ice cream before heading back.
Gnash pointed at an area below them and to one side off in the distance. "looks like something going on there." He said.

(Radient Garden)
Raven pushed open a door and stepped into one of the buildings. Books and various knick-knacks covered the corners of the room. A large computer stood against the wall just in front of the door.
A blonde man sat at the keyboard, typing away as he shifted the toothpick in his mouth around.
"Hey, Cid," the young man greeted.
"Hey, kid, you're just in time. I'm putting the finishing touches on the Claymore upgrades," Cid said.
"Great," Raven's attempt to sound enthuisiastic failed. "I found some more Gummi Blocks."
Cid sighed and turned away from the screen. Raven opened one of pouches at his waist and removed a small handful of colorful shapes.
The older man frowned. "Sorry, kid, it's all junk."
The youngster exhaled in annoyance.
(Pride Lands)
"Patience, young one," Rafiki said, bounding over rocks and plants. Despite his age, the shaman was still quite fit, managing to keep pace with the lions.
Holes of darkness ripped open in front of the group, forcing them to halt as red and black heartless appeared in front of them. Their feline bodies resembled the rulers of the savvanah, but instead of fur, skeletal armor covered them. Yellow dots of light stared out of their dark, empty eye sockets.
A plump lion trotted around behind the Heartless, smirking as he studied their catch.
"Well, well, looks like we managed to catch the king's brat," Pete laughed.
"You have not caught us quite yet," Rafiki said, leaning on his staff.
"Where do you think you're going to go?" Pete asked. "The whole savannah belongs to us now. That Zira dame sure knows how to plan a conquest."

Anywhere that doesn't have you in it" Vitani snarled her purple eyes filled with intensity and anger " And my mother can go to the Elephant Graveyard for all i care about her!" It was true, she and her mother did not get along at all.. she had once vbelievved in what Zira had told her , but thart was before kovu had entered the picture and Kopa returned. he glanced broiefly at the large lion standing a few paces away ' She cared about him, but since this happened, everytghing they had planned for was put on hold...

If you're planning to get us out of here Rafiki now would a good time...Kopa muttered as more and more heartless appeared "Do you know anyonee who could help us? Anyone, even if they are on the other side of the continent!.. Just get us out of here! once you do, get to safety yourself.. these guys loook like they mean business..

As the demon got closer to the wall of Radiant Garden, the voice in her head asked her to stop where she was, to which the demon obeyed, stopping in her tracks in time to see a Heartless form in front of her.
The Heartless looked at her for a moment before it took a more reasonable shape. It looked to be female, like a female sprite would, except that it had a single antenna on its head as well as its wings, they looked to be more corrupted.
After a few seconds of staring at each other, the Heartless moved, starting to speed around the demon, moving in and striking the demon multiple times.
"We do not have time for this....Roux, destroy it" the voice ordered her.
The demon, known as Roux, nodded back very lightly as a blade formed in her hand, a black Keyblade, to which she gripped it, swinging the Keyblade at the Heartless attacking her, alreadying starting to damage the Heartless.
After a few strikes, the Heartless stopped, staring at Roux for a moment more before taking off.
"Do not let it escape" the voice added in.
Roux turned in the direction of the Heartless, bringing her Keyblade back as something formed on the tip of it, a ball of what seemed to be, dark energy, to which she threw it at the Heartless seconds later.
The ball of dark energy rushed at imense speed towards the Heartless, striking the creature, absorbing it in the process before the ball simply exploded, destroying the Heartless in the process.

So why are you here" Kopa asked " and who's dirty work are you doing/ Because its obviously someone is behind.. those things.. and it s not you" Kopa said as the heartless continued to grow in number... hopefully this lion would spill the beans a bit before Rafiki could whisk them out, then.. wherever he sent them, they'd be safe.. at least for awhile... and right now kopa didn't care, as long as he and Vitani were some place other than here..

"A demon wielding a keyblade... Fascinating."
A flash of light appeared near Roux, and out stepped the cloaked figure.
"However...I'm afraid that, regardless of what magic allows you to wield such a weapon... It is my duty to eliminate you..."
The figure said, the seven swords forming behind it...

"Send him to his grave....we have more important matters to attend to than to play games with him....so make it quick girl...." the voice ordered Roux, to which she obeyed and rushed forward, the tip of her Keyblade already glowing as a red line shot down the Keyblade as it engulfed itself in dark, black flames as she swung at him and each of the swords in the vicinity.
"Yes, that's it, keep on fighting him, take his heart, turn him into a Heartless....make him one of us....." the voice continued to speak to Roux as she continued to fight him silently.

In a flash, the figure grabbed one of the seven swords, blocking Roux's slash and backstepping nimbly away from her.
"Is that your best, demon?"
He taunted coldly...

Roux said nothing back, however, the voice in her head sounded rather frustrated already "Stop wasting time and kill him! Destroy him! Do whatever it takes! Just end his life as it is!" the voice yelled in her mind.
Roux in turn, narrowed her eyes lightly and continued to swing her Keyblade at him, the voice in her head, giving her some more power of darkness, enough to shatter one of the swords before firing a few dark energy spheres in his direction.

The figure leapt back as it's sword was shattered.
"I see...I'll have to take this seriously..."
It said eerily, the drew the center sword before flicking it's cape...
In a flash, the sword was wrapped in darkness for a moment before it revealed it's new form. The blade had remained unchanged, but now there was a skeletal dragon's spine running coiled around it. At the back of the sword, the dragon's skull, with a scythe blade through the jaw formed the "key" of the weapon. The grip was a set of what appeared to be ribs coiled around a bone-shaped grip. A small scythe charm dangled from the base of this. The figure, now clad in a dark set of armor, and with twin black angel wings, easily blocked the fires, lunging at Roux...

Roux started to block each of the attacks that the figure was sending at her, however, she soon stumbled lightly, which was enough to open her up for a series of attacks, to which she was knocked back some more.
She stumbled back even more before rushing forward again and attempting to strike him once again, however, she was struck back once more before soon, falling to the ground and onto her knees. She looked at him for a second before somethingseemed to step out of her, causing Roux to fall to the ground, unconcious.
What stood in front of the other figure, was a Heartless which stared at the figure in front of it before speaking up "You have strength and power.....which is....at the very least, somewhat impressive.....too bad Roux there, was unable to keep up with it....however, be that as it may, she has already served her purpose for myself....enough power to become a entity all on my own"
The voice the Heartless had, sounded female as well as it looked to him for a moment more before smirking and vanishing away, one final voice from her was heard "Until we meet again...."

The figure walked over to Roux, looking at her before picking her up, reforming it's cloak, and vanishing...

Soon, the unconcious demon came through, looking around at what was happening, seeing that someone was carrying her, to the point of which she hessitated some and wriggled out of his grasp and onto the ground "You....you're the one I attacked...." she paused for a moment "Why save me when you could've easily killed me when you had the chance? Isn't that what you were after, to eliminate me?"
She stood up straight for a moment and spoke some more to him "However, if you are not here to kill me, then at least answer me one question.....who is Sora?"

The figure looked at her from under the hood.
"Don't get any ideas. I didn't spare you because of any reason besides utility. Your keyblade makes you somewhat useful, in some way or another."
It said coldly...
"And all I know about this 'Sora' is that he travels from world to world and protects them from the heartless..."
It added...

"Protects worlds against the Heartless you say? Then that's all the more reason why I need to find him....perhaps he can help me out with my Heartless problem I have....and no, it's not the one that was borrowing my body either....it's something else" Roux replied back as she folded her arms, just looking at the hooded figure.
The Keyblade that she weilded now, wasn't as corrupt, or as dark looking, yet, it was still black, to a point, as it had red streaks running through it in the process. Roux continued to look at the hooded figure for a moment more before asking him one other thing "Listen, might I also ask....I suppose, on where it is you're heading to? As I would like to add in, that I am no puppet you can just expect to lend a hand because it serves your own little purpose or whatever, so wherever it is you're heading to....I'll be heading in the opposite direction"

The figure turned.
"What you do is no concern of mine. Just stay out of my way."
It said, vanishing in a flare of light...

(OOC: As you never said that they had left Radiant Garden, I am going to assume that Roux was still left there)
"Good....about time...." Roux grumbled as the figure vanished before she extended her wings and took to the skies to take a look around where she was again.
Sure, she was in a different area of Radiant Garden, however, she still took the chance that was offered to her, a more free life, and she alread had a different objective in her mind, to find Sora, but not to destroy him this time, but to ask for his help.
She took towards the town itself, flying over the houses before landing down in the marketplace, retracting her wings in the process.

"Wouldn't you like to know!" Pete growled. He tossed his head at the lions. "All right, you mooks get them."
The Heartless charged forward, screeching loudly.
Guess I don't have a choice, Rafiki thought, plucking one of the gourds from his staff.
He cracked the sphere open and tossed a small blue orb at Kopa and Vitani. The stone flashed a bright white, blinding everyone. The ground shifted out from under the lion's feet as they were sucked away.
"I'm sending you to an old friend of mine," Rafiki shouted, his voice distorted by the portal. "He--"
The elder's voice was cut off as the lions tumbled out onto a wooden floor.
"Crud," Pete swore, rubbing a paw over his eyes. The light finally faded, revealing that his would-be prisoners were gone.
(Radient Garden)
Cid jumped out of his chair as the big cats tumbled into the room. Raven spun around, his curved sword flaring into existance. He pointed the weapon at the intruders.
"What is that?"
"Dunno, probably something to do with that loony wizard," Cid muttered.

oW1 Kopa! get off of me! Vitani groaned ' Sorry' the prince apologized getting off of her, it was then he norticed where they were, in a small room of some sort " Well Rafiki got us out of the pridelands. ah' Kopa crackled his neck muscles " Now we just have to find out where we are..

Kopa you need to lay off the fruit" Vitani said " You've put on weight since you came back.. I can tell. " Really, iIke I've lain on top of you before, that you could tell.. Kopa said Wha- whats THat supposed to mean.. " it was then the lions notice they were not alone in the room. " Oh. sorry" Vitani aopologize d ' Who are you/ and where exactly are we?
_ i'm Kopa' Kopa saisd looking at Raven and and Cid. " Is there anyone here that can help us? We're in a little bit of a pickle,..

Leon walked in from the next room, Revolver slung over his shoulder.
"That depends on what kind of help you need."
He said calmly...

well " Vitani began "Rafiki sent us .. here.. wherever here is.. and said that an old friend could help us.. at least I think thats what he saifdd " She added, not looking very confident " We need some place to stay for awhile at least. our home was taken over, by some magical skeltons, or they looked like skeltons.. Kopa said..

Raven and Cid jumped at Leon's rather sudden appearance, both still on edge from the lion's sudden appearance.
The Souleater sword vanished into darkness as its wielder decided the new arrivals weren't threats. With that conclusion, he turned to studying them.
They reminded him of cats, but he had never known of any cat to grow so large. He stepped closer and bent down to stare Kopa directly in the face. Working his way around the creature's side, he frowned and plucked at his mane.
"Well, we're always open to castaways," Cid replied.
"Skeletons?" Raven frowned debating whether to focus on these strange things or the strangers before him.

I'm a lion" kopa said to Raven " I'm a very big cat.., and please stop plucking at my mane, i need it!' He growled at Raven.

So can you help us? Vitani asked. Just point us any old place, and we'll take it..

The three of them continued to fly, and glide, towards the commotion going on that they could see. Once they were closer they saw that they were unusual looking creatures going at some folks who were running off for the most part.
Sara folded her wings on her back as she came to a stop not far from where they were, not needing her wings to fly, but they did help with steering and such in the air. She took time to pick out targets before she launched a spell.
Brooklyn took out his blaster, able to hover in place since he had on his legion flight ring. His son flew towards a nearby building and landed on the side, using the claws on one hand and his feet do dig into the concrete of the building to hold himself down since he could only glide like a gargoyle and unlike his father had no ring to fly with, nor any spell or natural magic. He took out his Japanese short sword and aimed at a heartless below, letting out a bolt of magic force at it as Brooklyn shot at the same heartless, to concentrate their firepower.
"Why don't we just land and fight them?" Gnash asked.
"Best to attack from a distance if you can, especially if your foe can't, then it gives you a sizable advantage that you should utilize." Brooklyn said.
Sara let loose with a bolt of lighting from one hand, it arcing to various foes since it was a chain lighting spell. She had taken a bit longer for the casting so it would only hit the creatures, and not any of the innocents who were running around, mainly away.

Leon leaned against the wall.
"Magical skeletons, huh? Sounds like either the Heartless or the Nobodies. Either way, could be trouble."
He said, eyes shut...

What are Heartless, exactly?' Vitani asked sitting down on a chair. " Are they the things that were chasing us? And can someone tell me where we are? I mean we just got here and have no idea where we are?"
ITs safer than the Pridelands at any rate" Kopa replied..

Roux soon left the marketplace, finding nothing of use and instead, flew up to the rooftops and landed there, taking a glance around before crouching some, inhaling for a moment before exhaling "This is becoming rather tedious, this Sora is nowhere to be found...." her eye was twitching, just a little bit as well, considering the fact that she was rather annoyed with what was happening.
There was a loud sounding roar, not too far from her location, a roar that the whole marketplace could hear as she quickly looked in the direction of the roar, but saw nothing, only hearing another roar, to which she jumped away at an incoming fireball, but one that was made of darkness "What the?" she asked herself as she flew in midflight.

The efforts of the gargoyles quickly reduced the heartless numbers, until a small group of Shadows remained. Before they could move to finish them off, a short figure leapt into the midst of the creatures.
Wielding what essentially looked like a giant old-fashioned key, the stranger leapt between the creatures, killing each with a single slash of his keyblade. He impaled the last one on the end of the weapon where it exploded into nothingness.
The stranger's weapon vanished in a flash of light as he turned to face those above him. The large ears on his head were clearly visible. He waved at them.

"You're in Radient Garden," Cid answered. "We're the Restoration Committee, though I guess with all the restorationing down we should rename ourselves."
Raven threaded a piece of the lion's mane hair through his fingers. He had managed to find the loose piece before Kopa roared at him to stop. "Heartless, eh? I'd love to visit that world."
Cid frowned at him. "You're crazy, kid."
At that moment, the roars reached the group.
"Oh, now what?" Raven wondered.

Radiant Gardens? can you point us to a place we could stay for the night?Vitani asked. " If you could we'd be much obliged." She was vut off by the roars what the heck is that? She asked heading fir the door.

"It's Mickey Mouse. Ive seen his cartoons." Gnash said smiling and waving to him.
"I recall once Jason took us to see the first one back in the late 20's. It was silent as I recall." Brooklyn said. Rubbing his head, "Forgot the title, but I think it was about a plane Mickey had or something and it was before he had his current classic look so he looked a bit different then."
"Wow, wish I could have been there." Gnash said.
"You were, but you were still in your egg." Brooklyn said remembering how Katana insisted on keeping any egg they had with her at all times till it hatched.
"I think they added sound later so it is a talkie, I think the term then would be." Sara said waving to Mickey as well.

Leon stepped past the two lions, Revolver held ready on his shoulder.
"You two stay here. It's going to get too dangerous for you."
He said coldly, eyes scanning outside for his enemy...

Soon, a Dragon, twice the size of a normal dragon, took flight, but something was different about this dragon, mainly for the fact that it had a clearly visible Heartless symbol on its chest. Roux tilted her head to the side a little as she looked at the symbol and scoffed "A Heartless" was all she said as the dragon approached.
Soon, the dragon landed, clutching onto the roof of the buildings in the vicinity as it roared, it's roar tearing up the rooftops in the process, which in turn, caused Roux to stand her ground some more, as to not get blown away.
The Heartless dragon's mouth seemed to be on fire, fire of darkness as it soon snapped at her in order to try and eat her, which caused Roux to jumped back and swing her Keyblade at it, only to have the Keyblade do no damage to it, only annoy the dragon that much more as it stepped forward and attempted to snap at her even more.

As the dragon's jaws closed in on Roux, Nero's keyblade flew into it, striking it's head and sending it reeling back as he landed and caught it.

Roux's eyes narrowed in on Nero "You again....I had it under control..." she spoke, clutching her Keyblade as she looked at the dragon, who in turn, was still unphased by Nero's attack, only causing it to roar and get even more angry, to which it begun to bite down on Nero.
Roux on the other hand, just watched the dragon take on Nero, her eyes still glaring at him and what he had done earlier on with her. She sighed a little bit, putting her other hand on the Kayblade, bringing it backwards, the tip of it aimed at the dragon and second later, she fired a few shots of darkness at the dragon.
The shots realed in, zooming past Nero's head and blasted the dragon in multiple places, to which Roux contiunued to shoot at the dragon, contiuing to shoot darkness shots at the dragon as she remained where she was.
The dragon roared as its attention turned back to Roux as it swiped its tail against a nearby chimney, sending it flying at Roux, to which she had to stop what she was doing and ducked down as the chimney flew over her head and struck the ground in the marketplace.

Mickey glanced left and right, checking to see that all the Heartless had indeed been wiped out. Finished checking, he dashed into an alleyway. He paused and decided to wait and see if the winged creatures would join him. There were rules about not meddling in the affairs of other worlds, but Sora and company had gone on fine with ignoring them. Perhaps they could even help Mickey find what he was looking for.

"Always so dramatic," Raven said of Leon. A tinge of blue on the floor caught his eye. He bent and picked up the colorful stone. It was the same object Rafiki had used to transport the lions to the world. Deciding that since it was on the floor, it was fair to claim, he pocketed it.

Nero dodged the dragon, taking advantage of it's distraction to lunge at it, striking it several times in the head before leaping away and throwing his keyblade at it again...

Roux started to fly backwards as the dragon was still focused on her. Still annoyed that Nero was helping her out in the fight as she narrowed her eyes at him once again as she dodged another snap of the dragon's jaw before starting to fly around to dodge incoming fireballs.
The dragon in turn, didn't even seem to care that it was being attacked all the time by Nero, it was, for the time being, focused completely on Roux as it lept off the building it was on, onto a second building as it continued to chase her down above rooftops.
Roux soon stopped and turned to face the dragon, pulling her Keyblade back as a red line appeared on it and her Keyblade engulfed itself in flame, to which the demon flew forward towards the dragon and swung her Keyblade multiple times, actually causing the dragon to visibly flinch.
The dragon let off another damaging roar that tore up more rooftops, sending debris down into the streets bellow.

"Let's go and see if he knows what's up." Sara said.
"yes, I've not seen those creatures before." Brooklyn said.
"Yea. I wonder if Pluto or any other characters are with him." Gnash said.
The 3 of them put their weapons away and flew after where they had seen Mickey go to.
"I wonder how he got here. He's not native to this universe." Sara said as they flew in the direction where he went.

Mickey checked his surroundings suspeciously. He might seem a bit paranoid to most, but his caution had saved his life a few times and spending time in the realm of darkness made one realize the necessity of staying alert.
He spotted the gargoyles swooping toward the alley and waved to them, before giving the area the once over again.

The 2 gargoyles and Sara flew into the alley and landed not to far from Mickey.
"Hello." Sara said as she waved.
"Neat. I've seen some of your cartoons on tv. I think Hudson likes them also."
Gnash said.
(ooc: Not sure if Sara should already have her keyblade of she'll get/find it later on during the rp)

Both Vitani and Kopa gaped at the huge dragon, " What IS that thing? Kopa asked, as another earsplitting roar hit them.. Best do as Leon says, I think' Vitani said, turning and hurrying back inside.. Kopa reluctantly followed.

Raven moved to the door and stepped out. He jumped to the side, narrowly avoiding the lions running back inside. Casting a glance up at the roaring behemoth, he smirked.
"That, my feline friends, is a heartless," he leaned against the wall, perfectly content to watch from there. "The darkness in the hearts of creatures like us given form."

"Cartoons?" Mickey repeated, unfamiliar with the term. "So I guess you guys protect this place from the Heartless? You seem to be pretty good at fighting."

suddenly there was a loud bang and a puff of smoke fuilled the room. Wh - where is that blasted.. - Wa-wait , you know Rafiki/ Kopa started " The Name's merlin and i happen to be the world's most powerful wizard, now if you want the universes most powerful wizard, you'll have to go see that magical squirell , Lord Sockstripe, or whatever his name is" Merlin said scratching his head. " Last I heard of him he was going to a party, and now this happens.. he motioned to the loud rumbling outside.. " Its most likely that Maleficent's doing.. he muttered..
_ Kopa and Vitani shook thier heads the old wizard had more or less been muttering to himself.. " I'm Kopa , i'm the Crown Prince of the Pridelands " Oh yes, you and your Girlfriend there had better come with me.. The Problem is We;l'll need a Gummi ship to get back to the castle, it would take too long to walk back, and time is of the essence"
I;m not exactly his girlfriend , I;m Vitani" Vitani said.. ' Aren't you going to be his mate? Merlin asked. " We'll we haven't made it official yet" Vitani stammered.

Nero dodged back away from the rubble, then flipped into the air, his wings flaring as he flew down, slashing along the Dragon's back, drawing shadowy pools of what looked akin to blood, making it roar in rage as he darted away from a counterattack.

Leon looked into the sky and saw Nero's silhouette flying past the Dragon.
"Looks like we're not the only ones fighting it."
He said calmly,

"Heartless? Is that what you call those things?" Brooklyn said. "As for being good at fighting we gargoyles do our best to protect the city from various evils at night. And some other places and folks when I travel to other places with some other friends of mine." Brooklyn said.
"Yea. Travel is neat sometimes." Gnash said liking to travel, including to other universes and times as well as this world.
"I've had some training in fighting in various ways, but I"m more of a wizard type." Sara said.

"Will you please stop making it roar so much!?" Roux called out to Nero in annoyance as the roar the dragon made from when Nero attacked it, caused more damage to what was in the general area "If you're not careful, making it more angry is going to cause it to roar, and when it roar, buildings are going to be damaged, and if that happens, lives could be lost" she narrowed her eyes at him as she flew downwards to avoid a fireball based attack from the dragon.

Nero chuckled.
"You want it silenced? Fine!"
He flicked his hands in a series of signs, then indicated it.
"Silenra!"
He yelled, keeping it from being able to generate sound with it's roars. He then drew a sword and grinned.
"And for good measure..."
He lunged up it's head, flipping high into the air and impaling it's mouth shut with the blade.

In a manner of speaking..Merlin replied, reaching inside his hat and pulling out assorted items, a watch with no hands, a three bulbed hourglass and other odds and ends.. now where is that magical map..it showed the portals to the worlds.. dratr.. I'm sure I stuck it in here for safe keeping.. come on.."

"Pfft....someone sounds annoyed...." Roux muttered in regards to Nero as she flew backwards while the dragon was now preoccupied with Nero once again "And here I thought he had better things to do than to kill Heartless....oh well....as long as he doesn't get in my way...."
She bought her Keyblade back up once more, holding it slightly on her right side, the tip of the Keyblade pointed at the dragon before she started to fire more orbs at the dragon from where she was standing her ground.
The dragon in turn, seemed to flinch some as it was indeed, getting much weaker from the onslaught of attacks it was sustaining, yet, as its mouth was impaled shut, it soon ripped it back open, the "flesh" of the dragon, ripping up in the process as it let off another roar, this one, much more louder than any of its other ones, a roar rather deafening as the wind blew everyone back, and in turn, damaged Roux some in the process.
Her Keyblade flew out of her hand as she took the blast head on, being thrown back into a nearby building and injured in the process. The building being the one where the others had hidden. However, she ignored the presence of the others as she got back up, bleeding a bit, injured, yet, still wanting to fight. There was no way in hell she was going to let Nero hog all the glory of slaying this Heartless.

Raven gasped as the force of the roar ruffled his hair and clothing. He braced his feet, managing to stay up right. He glanced back at Merlin. He hadn't really talked to him much, other than inquiring a bit about magic.
"You guys need a Gummi Ship?" Raven smirked. "I happen to have one in the works, just need a few parts."
"Kid, I don't think you'll be going anywhere with that Heartless flying around," Cid said. "Especially with what you've got so far."

Mickey nodded. "The Heartless are the manifestations of the darkness in folk's hearts. They seek out and steal hearts from others, creating more of themselves."
He frowned and scratched his chin. "I'm something of a traveler myself. Have you guys encountered a pale woman in black, or a lage black cat, name of Pete?"

we just need to get back to the castle, the ship can fall to pieces after that, for all that I care" Merlin said putting his hat back, after magicking all the objects back into it.. Now where is your ship? he asked Raven , running his fingers through his beard.

Sara shook her head, "I don't think I've ever heard of anyone like that." She said.
"Pete as in peg leg pete from some of the disney cartoons, no, I've not heard of his being here." Brooklyn said.

Roux continued to eye the dragon some more before noticing an opening and smirked to herself before flying forward. The dragon roared rather loudly, however, Roux just kept flying forward until she got close enough to the dragon and seconds later, flew inside it just as the dragon shut it jaws.
The dragon roared a second time and started to make its way to Nero before it stopped in its tracks and seemed to collapse onto the ground, roaring lowly as it did, attempting to stand up again, only to fall back down again.
Moments later, the dragon was destroyed....from the inside by none other than Roux as the heart from the Heartless was released into the air as she stood there, breathing a bit, her hair in her face, yet, it was as if she just didn't care one bit, she was just regaining her posture at the moment.

Nero chuckled a little bit.
"Hmph...Impressive. It appears you saved my life. Thank you."
He said calmly, standing up and reforming his cloak...

"And yet, I didn't do it to save your life, my lif was in danger and I needed to destroy that thing to save myself....so you can get that little idea of me saving your life out of that head of yours" Roux sneered back at him with a glare as well as she landed on the ground, her arms crossed.

"Aw, shucks!" Mickey exclaimed. He smiled shyly at his outburst. That was no way for a King or Keyblade Master to act, no matter how long he had been traveling.
"What are you guys' names?" the mouse asked. "You already seem to know a bit about me..."

the villians were sitting around at a table in the middle of a bare room. where they were.. was rather hard to explain. it was not the underworld, in fact it was a place assumed by all good creatures to not even exist. It was called the world that Never Was, a rather ironic title considering that it actually DID exist.

"I can try a magic scan, but since I don't know what heartless is it likely won't work." Sara said, then after a pause, "We can see if Jason's heard of heartless and has time to stop by to do a planetary scan." Sara said.
"Or a solar system scan. They may have hidden base on another planet." Brooklyn said.
"Or moon." Nash said.
"ANd his being a time lord, and his and Guilmon being power rangers may be of help, if they are not to busy." Sara said. "Sometimes he is very busy or off on a mission."

Damon stirred as he heard several strange sounds. Opening his eyes, he saw he was not in the Jungle anymore. The last thing he remembered was seeing strange animals that looked like living shadows. As he walked out of the dark alleyway he was in, Damon squinted his eyes at the strange bright lights. His red colored eyes soon adjusted. His stomach growled, Damon remembered he hadn't eaten since those black things attacked. He sniffed the air and caught whiff of a owl flying fairly fast. The black furred lion started to chase him.
Archimedes huffed as he tried to go faster, If Merlin didn't kill him, this lion cub would. The chase continued until Archimedes landed in a open window, only to be tackled by the Cub. "MERLIN, MERLIN!" He shouted as he yelled in pain when Damon bit down on his legs. Damon stared to shake poor Archimedes around, til the owl managed to get a few pecks in with his beak. Damon yelped as he let go. He saw two adult lions. Damon growled. " This Owls mine!" He growled.
Archimedes landed on Merlin and took refuge under the wizards hat. "Kill that, that thing!" The owl shouted as pooped his head out from under the hat.
Damon pounced Merlin in hopes of getting the owl. " Here birdy birdy. "He growled.

Damon hit the ground with a thud, after rubbing his back side with his paws, Damon looked Attentively as he heard the word fish. He followed the wizard's movements intensely. When he landed, Damon tore through that fish ravenously. After he finished gulping it down, let out a burp. A castle is a largew building usually located on a hill or near a body of water" Merlin replied " Heartless are.. rather hard to explain.. they are well personified darkness.. the evil that usually lies dormant in good creatures.. in this case takes physical form..they are not animal but energy..as for why I don't poof us there, first poofing someone takes magic, the longer the distance to travel the more magic it takes, and since we are almost a dozen in number it becomes considerably more difficult.. the castle is a long distance away, and poofing all of us there just isn;t practical.. we'll have to use the Gum,mi ship to get there.."

Damon thought about what Merlin said. " were heartless animals once?" He asked. Damon thought about His father Leo, and how much he hurt both him and his mother and siblings. But something else also came to mind. "Merlin, what's a building, is that like a cave?" He asked the wizard.

No, Heasrtless are not and have never been living creatures, they trive off of hate fear and despair. when facing them you must be courageous strong and brave.. as for a building" marlin pointed to the structurethey were standing next to " That is a building, there are quite a few of them in this town. Buildings can be small , like this house, or big like a kings castle.."

Kopa and Vitani Followee Merlin aboard the ship which appeared to be big enough for all them, but only ust barely so. This was probably not going to be a comfortable ride.."

Damon followed suit. He was awed by what he saw. " wow." He said as he jumped ahead of Merlin and took the window seat. "can this....thing really fly cause it doesn't have feathers, and I killed enough birds to know, they don't like extra weight." He said as he tried to get comfy.

Meanwhile in a world far away, two figures stood together in the shadow' s. One wearing a hood similar to the one's Organization wore, the other wore black and red Key-blade armor. "Soon our vengence will be complete and we shall make our glorious return to power." The armored figure said.
Yes the hooded one said as she chuckled. "The worlds shall rejoice at the return of the one true king, and our enemies will know our wrath." She said.
"And every king will need a queen, my dear." He said to his love, as they laughed at the joy of vengeance.

"Keyblades are powerful weapons that only a select few can wield," Raven said as he entered the crowded ship and squeezed his way to the front. He took a seat at the controls and examined them.
"You sure you can fly it?" Cid shouted from outside the craft.
Raven scowled. Ture, he had never flown a gummy ship by himself before, but Cid had certainly given him enough training. He flicked a switch and the engines hummed to life as a smug smile spread across his face.
"So remind me, what exactly is our destination?"

" i have a guest room there where I've got a number of important magics stored. and apparently according to leon there are least 2 more Keyblade weilders , besides sora and the rest that is.. "once we stock up at the castle and train these two" he jerked his thumb at Kopa and Vitani.. then we will begin the long arduous task of reclaiming the various worlds..'

"Hey, what about me, I wanna fight those Heartless things too." Damon said as looked at Merlin. "Who's Yen-Sid and Sora, and what's a weapon?" Damon asked. His mind racing with questions and curiosity. He never thought that he, the son of Leo, the most evil Lion ever would be anything but bitter, hateful and alone forever. But when he first laid eyes on those heartless monsters. He saw what real evil was, and it terrified him. He made a silent promise never to go down that road, he couldn't explain this sudden change in his character. It confused him, but he didn't want to think about it. He wished his mother was still alive, It was his fault she was gone, then an Idea came to him.
"Hey merlin, do you know how to bring back the dead?" He asked, hoping he could undo what he did to his mother and siblings.

"I'd have to warn you against doing that, kid. I've seen what happens when people try that, and it's not pretty. Just a warning."

Merlin sighed. "Reviving the dead is an extremely difficult and nasty business. It is possible, however, the Council of wizards(on which I sit, along with other great wizards) has forbidden reviving the dead except in grave circumstances. First off young lion, all mortal creatures have a time to die. some die very youing, others live a full life. Some who deserve to die live, some who don't deserve to die, do. You are not the first to ask me to do this Damon, and I will tell you what I have told the others. To bring someone back from the dead involves meddling with great forces and requires great magical powers to pull off, it is not an undertaking that is pursued lightly, nor often is it done with good intention. Most often the soul that the person wishes to revive is a loved one, such as a mate, or a father or mother. I can revive the dead, Damon, but i will not revive the lion, or lions you want to brinfg back. You must accept that they are gone..

Bringing back the dead raises too many questions ' Vitani said. For one she did not want to have her mother Zira, revived. "Besides, don't the dead have to want to come back, for that kind of stuff to work?"

No, the dead can be forced back to life' Merlin replied.

"Oh." Damon said, his ears drooping backwards. He wondered why resurrections were not often done with good intentions, what was wrong with wanting his mother and siblings back. was it so wrong to want the family that was taken from him back, even if only to beg for forgiveness. Damon then got another Idea. "Merlin, is it OK to try and talk to the dead?" he asked, he thought that maybe he could at least beg for his mother to forgive him for being forced to eat her and his siblings alive. "besides, It's my fault their gone, My mom, my brothers and my sisters are gone cause of me."He said, unable to hold back his tears. "He made me eat them." He said, collapsing in his seat, burying his head into his front paws.

Damon looked up in shock. Leo never mentioned his family, and Damon was always too scared of him to ask. "Also since Leo was your half-brother, I guess that would also make me your nephew." Damon said, before looking away. "But it doesn't matter, I don't deserve a family, and I don't deserve to live. " Damon insisted, turning back away. "He's also the one who gave me my name and my scar." He said, pointing to a grayish looking scar. "He had one too, he said it would be the only thing he would ever give me. Then he abandoned me. " Damon said, not wanting to say anymore. "Besides, time doesn't heal, it just stops the bleeding." Damon explained.

' the castle should be a few hours flight from here' Merlin said " If you wanrt to take a quick nap you can Kopa' "No, I'm too interested in seeing the sights " Kopa replied.. gazing at Vitani then Damon. Kopa felt pity for the young cub.. unfeigned pity.

Damon looked down. He didn't understand why they wanted him to be part of their family. "But look at me, I'm a black furred lion. Don't you know the stories. A black furred lion is an Oman of death and evil. I'm not a child either, I'm a monster." He said as he got up to turn around so he was facing away from them. He had told Merlin he feared nothing, but he did fear attachments. He was so traumatized by being forced to eat his mother alive, then his siblings, that he feared getting close for fear of losing them too.

"I heard about him, and only his mane, tail, and two small parts of his fur are black, the rest is brown. Most of my fur is so black, I've been mistaken for a panther a couple of times." Damon replied without turning around. "Besides, how do you know I didn't inherit any evil from Leo or scar?" Damon asked Kopa.

Damon was taken back by this. "But your so powerful, what would have to fear?" He asked the wizard, before turning to Kopa. "Kopa, what was your pride like, I bet you had a great life there." He said to the prince.

I tried to kill one and eat it, but it didnt work, it was tougher than a rhino, hippo, and elephant combined." He explained, feeling ashamed at lossing a fight. "I couldn't kill the heartless that stole my meal, it was a Meerkat riding a warthog of all things, and they were shouting for someone called simba." Damon said.

Brooklyn was returning from his patrol. As he came in he could see his son near the door to the castle standing on the area where they usually landed.
"Lessons over so soon?" Brooklyn asked.
"Yea, she said something about getting a message from Jason so she called an early ending. Said he'd be here a bit after you arrived back." Gnash said looking up at his father.

Simba uis my father and Timon and pummba were his friends. i don't remember much about my time in the pridelands i actually grew up in another pride ruled by a lion called King Nuti.he was a great king, although his pride has a strange rule about sucession. if there was two cubs bor n to the king, and they were a boy and girl, the two of them would share the throne, and rule the kingdom together..along with thier mates of course. the princes mate would backup the queen, and the queens mate would backup the king. That had been in thier family for a number of generations and it seemed to work for them..
_ Wait a Minute" Vitani gazed at him " So if that system was in place in the Pridelands.. " i'd be king, Kiara would be queen, you'd be kiaras backup and kovu would be my backup. it only really works if the four of us can get along and theres no 'throne-lust' going on.. ' thats is rather strange, but i could see it working.. vitani shrugged.

I don't see why not" Kopa said in reply as Merlin headed out of the ship.. " you three coming? He said to the lions.. "Times awasting.. I need to get the things in order, so we can begin your training.. Usually this takes months to get good results, but we don't have months, there are only a few worlds that have not been completely taken over.. So this is will be a rush job I'm afraid..

" I got an Idea, hunters get better the more they hunt, so could you make it that we have all the spells heartless hate, but have to unlock it or something as we get more experienced in battle?" Damon asked.

no unfortunately there is not enough time for me to train you to do that. you will gain more power as you use your abilities, but to get the spells that can help you against the heartless, you must do so on your own..by freeing the worlds held under maleficents grip..' Merlin said. all i can do is teach you the basics, once you master those your quest will begin.. there are only a few worlds free of heartless at the moment, due to remoteness or because maleficent deems them unnecessary..

no, each world has its own story, some may have lions, but many do not.. you will be helping each world defeat thier heartless so they can be free..

"OK, how are we going avoid starting a panic in the worlds we're trying to save?" Damon asked. "Could you teach us to shape shift?" He asked Merlin.

well considering how bad things are, they will be grateful for your assuistance, and you will not be able to change your form , that is advanced magic" merlin said..

"OK, so what kind of magic can you teach us?" Damon asked curiously.

just enough so you can figfht and defend yourselves. there will be others who will teach you as you go" Merlin replied. " do not leave Kopa or Vitanis side Damon these worlds are very very dangerous, especially given the circuymstances.

" So when do we start?" He asked eagerly.

once i get all my things together.. please follow me' Merlin said to the three lions as they headed down the path towards the castle. ' once your training is complete you will be sent to the nearest world, there you will be on your own.. with only your training and the fates to protect you.

I must stay here and keep an eye on the worlds. depending on how well you dfare in freeing the worlds i may be able to send you some items from time to time. Merlin replied. " just don't count on me being able to bail you out of every pickle.. magic has its limits..

" OK, I'm ready, what about you and Aunt Vitani Uncle Kopa?" Damon asked with a smile as he looked in awe at the magnificent castle. He had never seen anything like it before in his entire life. Here in these Hallowed halls, the Cub felt safe not just from the heartless, but from his own Personal demons that still haunted him. But he was certain his Family would be there to help him confront them.

"Sounds like an idea. Let's go and see." Brooklyn said. "it may be something very interesting." He said patting his son on the shoulder as they both headed inside to then head to where the tv was.

Damon nodded as he let Merlin's words sink in. "Yes Sir, so what spell is first?" He asked, wondering if it was a spell that would make a lot of heartless die. His mind wandered as he thought of the possibilities, there had to be many spells, but what spells were easy to do?
"And how can we fight heartless besides magic?" He asked the wizard.

Well my father is a great king, as was my grandfather Mufasa' Kopa replied ' Because of Zira I really didn't get to spend much time learning from him, until I returned as an adult, fortunately I had received training while I was with King Nuti and his proiude so I didn't stsart off at square one. Hopefully once we retake the Pridelands, you'll be able to meet my father for yourself..

" Do you really think I'd be welcomed?" Damon asked, his voice full of hope at the prospect of having a real home, a real family.

Meanwhile, in a much more different world, lies a canyon-like landscape...the ground literally sprouting with rusting Keyblades of many sorts and styles. This was a graveyard, a dark reminder of a devastating war between the masters of light and darkness...
Hidden from typical view, stood a simple yet dark cave. Within, stood two statuesque figures of armored individuals, frozen in time. Clutched within each of their hands...were Keyblades...
But these figures were not alone. At the mouth of the cave, stood a lone black figure, staring upon them with dark, scheming eyes...

"Hm. Looks like we made it here intact."

Kopa continued walking up the stairs,the sounds of his paws echoing down the stairs. ' one more floor, i think ' he said gazing around at the strange suits of armor that inhabited thye halls.' cheery place huh? Vitani asked coming up behind huim.. " this place gives me the creeps, reminds me of the caves in the outside lands..

As the group entered the main room of the tower, the three fairy godmothers, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather appeared from a ball of light and smiled at them.
"Ah, hello, travelers! We're so glad to see you!"

Greetings my dears! mewrlin Smiled. Merryweather floura ,Fauna these are my frioends Prince Kopa Vitani and Damon. they are from the Pridelands. How are things in beauty world? Unfortunately most of the worldss have been closed off..by the Heartless
_ What are those things? Vitani asked " they are fairies, the guardians of Beauty World, so named after Princess aurora otherwise known as Sleeping Beauty" Merlin explained.
So why are they here? Kopa asked.

In the twinkling stars over the Manhattan district, a streak of light came into view and streaked across the towering skyscrapers, even one such building that pierces even the clouds in the sky. The object, soon revealed as a ship, passed into a darker portion of the city and touched down on the roof of an apartment complex.
When the engines died down, the ship's canopy lifted open, and a few figures hopped out, one of which tripped over his feet and landed on his muzzle. They stepped away towards a corner of the roof to stare on at the vast city.
"This place is huge," Sora sighed.
"Gawrsh. It could take days to find out where the Heartless are." Goofy added.
"Maybe sooner," replied Riku, "if the Heartless are bound to cause trouble..."

Back in the cave, the lone figure approached the statues and waved his Keyblade, sending a wind-like energy towards them. The wind seemed to peel the stone-like layer off the statues like eggshells, revealing the glistening metal of the armor. As the final pieces were blown away, the statues came to life as they gasped for air. The male in black & gray armor, was the first to have his armor and Keyblade disappear, followed by the female in silver & green.
"What happened...?" the male said between breaths.
The female didn't answer right away as she knelt to one knee to regain her strength. "I never saw that spell coming...nor the one who cast it..."
"All will be explained in time," the dark figure before them replied, in a raspy voice. "But I am glad to see you still survive..."
The freed Keyblade masters looked up at their liberator with puzzlement and suspicion, until they recognized him...
"Master...Xehanort...?"

" And how can you fly with such tiny wings?" Damon asked, examining they're wings.

They are fairies, they are creatures of magic" merlin explained " obviously here to pay me a visit.. "

Are they here to teach us magic too? Vitani asked, this world was getting stranger and stranger to her. Giant beasts, a old crackpot of magician, and now these three.. fairy.. things.. it was all a bit much to take..

Leon smiled as Flora drifted over to him.
"So, you've finally come back, Leon!"
She said, then paused for a moment.
"Did you...want what you left with us back?"
She asked him, and he nodded.
"Yeah. I guess I would. Thank you for holding on to it."

"What's she talking about Leon?" Damon asked.

Leon looked over as Flora summoned a set of boxes.
"Oh, and Leon. While you've been away...some of your friends came by and left a gift for you."
She said, as Leon chuckled.
"She's talking about the remnants of the man I was before the Heartless came. The man I really am."
He said, eyes confident and focused...

"but your not missing any body parts, are you?" Damon asked sniffing the air. " I don't smell any mangled body parts either." he added.

Leon smiled and opened the first box, pulling out an exquisite blue sword, with the grip engraved with an ornate winged lion. Next, he retrieved a unique black leather jacket, with a distinct fur collar, an elegant lion pendant, and lastly, a white angel feather. The second box that Flora handed him was different, etched with a beautiful angel motif. This, Leon opened slowly, almost cautiously, then pulled out a letter. Opening the letter, he smiled a little, reading it.
Squall.
When you read this, I know it's because you finally decided to stop running from your past. Everyone pitched in to leave you this gift, and I hope you can make use of it to protect the ones that you care about. With luck, one day soon you can come home, where we'll be waiting for you.

Leon smiled and shook his head in awe, slowly pulling out the contents of the chest. First was a beautiful pair of knuckle gloves, etched with a winged lion. Next came an ornate whip, modified to fit as a belt. After that came a decorated silver rifle, then a pair of nunchaku, and lastly a second gunblade. This one had a vented barrel, a dual trigger, and a jet-black blade with the words "All existence denied" engraved onto either side.

" So these are your missing parts?" Damon asked as he sniffed the contents of the box.

I don't think so " vitani said gazing at the newcomers as Merlin opened a door in front of them " ah heres the training room, with all my baubles knickknacks, and a poster of Jack Johnson. i have no idea how that got there, must have been from watching that fight in the early 20th century..

Leon smiled and stepped into the training room, then looked around and chuckled faintly. Raising his gunblade to the back of his head, he slashed it across the back it his hair, cutting it short back into the style that he had worn it in before he had lost his homeworld. Shaking his head gently, he held his hand out and formed several sets of glowing green spirit orbs around it.
"It's been too long, my friends. Diablos...Eden...Bahamut."
He muttered, as he drew his twin gunblades.
"From now on, I'm not running away. Not anymore. From now on, I'm going to stand up and face the world. I'm not Leon anymore. From now on, my name is Squall."
He said calmly...

Back at the barren landscape, the two resurrected Keyblade Masters are now on top of a sheer cliff, looking out at the vast expanse of rusting Keyblade grave markers.
"We could've been among them..." the female said aloud in thought.
The male did not respond to her, but instead turned around to face the third individual behind them. "Why did you freeze us from this fate that should've been ours?"
"I knew I needed your strength for a purpose beyond this war," the third replied. "I have foreseen a great danger that will survive the Keyblade War. So far, this evil has been thwarted by Keyblade wielders, but they do not have the strength, the Mark of Mastery, to stop him again. I am also afraid that he may turn them against us all."
"So this...Terra really has the power to unbalance the powers of Light and Darkness?"
"Yes. Soon, he will even obtain the powers that started the Keyblade War itself..."
"Thousands of us died over this power... No... We will not let allow this to happen again..."
"I will guide you to the boys, but I don't know if they will be kept from Terra's taint..."
"Master Mai will search for this Sora and Riku... I need to seek out someone..."
With that, the two Masters were back in their armor, and jumped through a pair of holes in the sky, splitting off in different directions...

Damon looked oddly at Squall. "Can we still call you Leon?" He asked, wondering what kind of name Squall was. "And when are you going to start teaching us Magic?" He asked merlin.

"OK." Damon said as he started moving stuff that looked cluttered into places where they looked like they belonged. Then he picked up a stick with a crystal on top of it. "Hey Merlin, where do want this?" Damon asked, the Stick shaking in his mouth as the staff started to glow. Damon Droped the staff and ran for Merlins bead and hid under it. The Magic from the Staff cleaned the room completely. When it stopped, Damon poked his head out. " I'm sorry, It was an accident." He said.

Damon came out from under the bed as he looked up at the Papers. What is it Merlin what are those?" Damon asked, pointing to the papers in the old wizard's hands.

Nero landed a short way outside the tower, glancing up and knocking on the door, as, unknown to all, a fox wrapped in a dark cloak watched the goings on from a hidden space overlooking the tower...

Merlin pulled out a few books "these are the spells these two will need to know in order to fight the heartless. only will use and experience will they groew strong enough to defend themselves.

"What about me Merlin, I wanna fight too." Damon said.

He said with a small chuckle...

damon heeded Squall's words. "OK." He sighed, but he wanted to stop those monsters too, and was not sure if merlin was excluding him on purpose.

Damon relaxed, but did not lower his guard. "In the mean time Kopa, maybe i could tell you a story. My mother's side were renowned story tellers, though I doubt many of these stories ever made it to pride rock. Africa is a big place. Whenever Leo was not around, mother would distract us from our woes by telling us stories passed from parent to child." Damon explained with a sheepish smile. " I commited each story to memory down to the last detail, it was the only way I could stay half way sane." He added.

"Gladly." Damon smiled as he cleared his throat. "This is the story of how our world was created, before the great kings of the past, it also tells the start of hostilities between lion and hyena." Damon said.
"Before the begining, there was Lionial the great spirit, and Hyen the devowerer. Lionial was the incarnation of good, life and creation, hyen, of evil death and destruction. for centuries, Lional and hyen battled one another, the ballance of power shifting between them more times than could be counted. Only by creating the 13 original lion kings, from who'm all royal bloodlines were desended from, was lional able to defeat Hyen and cast him down into a bottemless hole from where he would forever feed upon the souls of the wickeded.
But Lionial saw his war with hyen had destroyed the wolrd. So he offered up his body to heal the ground, his mane to heal the water and his spirit to heal the the sky. Lionial bestowed the titles of kings and queens upon the 13 lions so they could lead and guide the animals.
Although imprisoned, Hyen could still act. He created gluttonius followers called Hyenas to wage eternal war upon the lions." Damon said. "well, what do you think?" Damon asked, wanting his aunt and uncle to give him they're honest opinion.

Meanwhile. Outside, three figures snuck up to the doors of Yen Sid's tower.
The first was a fox, dressed in tattered clothing and carrying a cane and worn top hat.
The second was a cat who was dressed similarly but had long sleeves that went way past his paws.
The third was a young human boy. He wore a top hat, shirt, pants and a brown longcoat, also tattered and he also carried a cane.
"Here we are, who knows what fortune this tower could hold" The fox, named John Worthington Foulfellow said.
The cat, Gideon, just nodded absent-mindedly.
"I'm not sure about this, Foulfellow. I've heard the magician who lives here is quite powerful. Who knows what he could do to us if we're caught." The boy explain.
"Child, there's nothing to be afraid of, much less an old man." Foulfellow replied with a chuckle.
"So you say." The boy, who went by the name of Eric Kale, muttered.

snick snack snorrel' merlin enchanted and kopas eyes began glow as magic began to swiirl around him traveling between hus claws and toes.

Damon watched in awe. "Can I go next Merlin, Please!?" He asked, hoping the wizard would comply.

"Eric, I think you should do the honors." Honest John chided, handing the boy a lockpick.
Remembering what he was taught by Foulfellow, Eric began to pick the lock on Yen Sid's door. He listened carefully until he heard the click of the door being unlocked.
With that the three entered the tower.

Sorry Merlin, I just.." He stoped as he thought he heard voices and smelled something. Going to the window, Damon looked down at the ground. "Merlin, I'm sorry but I thought I herd something outside and just now I swore I smelled something nasty." He said. " As I was saying, I just down want to feel usless is all. I guess I'm worried I won't be as good of a mystic as my mom was." Damon confessed.

"I must confess, this place is kind of giving me the creeps." Eric muttered as he and the others ascended the stairs.
Foulfellow chuckled. "I doubt anyone's home. The least that could be in our way are a few traps." The felonious fox explained.
Suddenly Gideon spotted something and let out a yelp, startling Eric and Foulfellow.
They were looking into the eyes of five Shadow heartless.
"John Worthington Foulfellow, I think you spoke too soon." Eric told the fox.

Eric, Foulfellow and Gideon slamed into it and tumbled into the room where Merlin, Damon, Kopa and Vitani were. Foulfellow got up quickly and slammed the door shut with his cane.

"Who are you?" Damon asked. "Jiminy Cricket, Official conscience." The dapper dressed bug said, hopping down to Damon's nose as Damon saw him lift up his tiny top hat to greet him. "And that fox is anything but honest." Jiminy said, waving his umbrella at the fiend. "Merlin, I know it's not my place, but I say let the heartless give these two scoundrels what's coming to them." Jiminy said.

Eric took notice of Jiminy and trapped him under his 20's union cap.
"What makes you so sure that we're con artists, cricket? For all you know, we could be playwrights, like Shakespeare." the boy explained as Foulfellow stuggled to suppress a snicker at Eric's move.

well perhaps because longfelliows reputsation among the lands is not too good. and I know shakespeare in fact I saw all his plays, liked Macbeth, hated romeo and Juliet. too old for romance stuff I suppose ' merlin shrugged.

Damon tore the hat to pieces, freeing Jiminy. "You three are leaving, or I'll be having Cat and fox for Dinner." Damon warned, looking at them with an unrelenting killing intent.
"I know you two are con artists, you tricked Pinocchio into going to Stromboli' s and to got to pleasure Island." Jiminy said.
"That's bad right?" Damon asked.
"Yes, Stromboli threatened to chop him up and on pleasure island Pinocchio almost got turned into a donkey!" Jiminy said.
"Who is Pinocchio?" Damon asked.
"Pinocchio was a wooden puppet brought to life, and then became a real boy, he almost didn't thanks to them" Jiminy said, pointing to john and Gideon. "they'll lead you down the wrong path Eric." Jiminy said to the human.

Eric rolled his eyes in the midst of Jiminy's ranting and Gideon almost immediately pulled out his mallet, attempting to squash the cricket before Foulfellow snatched the blunt weapon out of the cat's hands.

"Well, I suppose it can't be helped. Of course, I wasn't around to see such things but it was probably quite interesting, I'm sure. But I was worse off before the fox and cat took me in, mentored me in the art of thievery and persuasion, I've become quite skilled at both if I do say so myself." Eric said with a chuckle before turning to the one known as Damon and hitting a switch on his cane, which allowed him to pull out the switchblade hidden within.
"You wouldn't dare." he said, training the blade on the lion.

"If we keep running, they'll keep chasing us, but if we fight back, they may come back, but they'll think twice before coming back." Damon said.

Leo turned to Kopa. "My, little kopa, your alive. Pity, I 'll simply have to correct that." He said. "And little Tani, last tome I saw you, you were bite sized, now your enough for a full meal." Leo said.
'Move Move!" Damon thought to himself, trying to get past his fear, but he couldn't.

time is up, time is down, time to go.. to traverse Town" Merlin chanted and his group, magicked away including Gideon honest john and eric. they repeareed in the middle of traverse town.

"Well done as always Merlin." Master Asia complimented as he turned to Damon. "If Maleficent wants you youngster, then you are either very important to her plans, or very dangerous to them." He said, Noticing Damon was still shaking.
"I was too scared to fight back."Damon said in shame.

"Really?" Damon asked. "no, nor does it make you weak." He added. "In fact I fear the heartless, I fear what they will do to all the innocent worlds they consume, but I don't let my fear control me, determining the amount of control your fear has over you is the first step in mastering it."
