Gnosasaur gave a wicked smile as pterosaur made contact with the Stone of Cold Fire. A blue light surrounded the Flyer and froze him in ice. Gnosasaur walked over to the hexagon liklar and held the stone in his hand. He turned to Sierra and said, “Knowledge is not siezed my flyer friend, it is earned. Now you have tasted the fruit of impatience. I could leave you in the ice, but now that you’ve learned your lesson I offer you the Stone.” The Concavenator stepped towards the pterosaur, his hump swaying neneath the sun light. Gnosasaur took the Stone and placed it as Pterosaur’s feet. He then using his Sapphire directed the sunlight at Sierra, melting the ice. The Crafty Concavenator made lanky walk towards his partner. “This is but one of four stones, the remaining three are across this planet. If you have any hope of findimg them, you will need my expertise. The Four Stones open the sealed Tomb of the Ancients here in Ptergypt. Let me be perfectly clear, if you cross me again, I will leave you in the traps to come and finish the quest alone. Is that understood Flyer?”

Ringus had spent an hour listening to the Elders debate the best course of action. Most of them had a consensus that this was but another Pterano level incident that would run its course and fizzle out. Ring objected, “Respectfully, I disagree. Pterano and his Pterosaur posse never bypassed my fail safes and security traps. Whoever has done this has acute knowledge of Forerunner tech and is going to exploit the Stone. I suggest I and party of Rainbow Security Forces go to the surface and confront this disturbance.” One of the elders, a Gallimimus with grey and yellow skin said, “You said in your feed this tresspasser was a not a pterosaur but a bipedal Theropod of the Carcharodontosauridae family. How is that possible? No sharptooth has ever disturbed the relics of the Ancients before, other than native Pterosaurs.” Ring wanted to let out a roar, his hair spikes rattling with frustration he felt inside. “I know, but there is a first for everything.” The Elders consulted among themselves, and the Old One said, “We will send two inquistors to verify what is happening down there, but we decline your request to lead a security team to the surface..” Ring let out a screech, which mad the Elders shake involuntarily. “Decline? Decline! That is all I hear from the Mysterium and from you old koots!” One of Elders chimed, “Careful Ringus! Show some respect.” Ring crackled his claws, a very wicked thought entered his head. He then regained composure, and said, “I..I apologize your most reverend Elders.” The Old One held a datapad and said, “This meeting is over, you may go Ring.” Ringus bowed, his peridot and yellow jasper body shimmering beneath the lights. He returned to Watch Room, where Watchasaurs were mointering screens and trying to gather info on the incident. Ring looked at the gaint screen on the wall when a Gallimimus of yellow and purple reported, “we’ve had an alert at the Temple of Petras, the Stone’s signature is faded. Which means..” Ring finished his sentence, “someone has removed it from the sacred pillar. Wake every Watchasaur and have them report to this station, we are going to get to the bottom of this.”

Pterano and Petrie met in the cave by the Great Pass. Petrie gave a yawn, “Me tired Uncle Pterano..” Pterano gave a wide smile, “Petrie my boy, I have found it!” Petrie yawned, “found what?” Pterano said with glee, “Another Stond of Cold Fire! Its buried here, in Saurus Rock.” Petrie squinted, “Oh dat.. me thought you done with Stone of Fire.” Pterano took hus nephew by the sing, “Yes, but that was tell I learned in a scroll in Ptergypt that there are four stones, which open a ancient tomb!” Petrie have a grumpy stare, “You not gonna go looking for em again are you?” Pterano nodded his crested head and beak, “Yes, and I want you to come with me.” Petrie’s eyes got big and white, the pupils like little black dots, then he began laughing really hard, “Muhahaha!” Pterano made serious face, “Petrie.. please do not laugh, this is a sacred matter.” Petrie rebounded after some more giggling. “Me not gonna go lookin for stones, me staying right here in The Great Valley where it is safe. Wait.. methinks, did you come to Valley just for da stone?” Petrie’s face became downcast, “You came for stone, not to see me. Right? Right!” Pterano tried to comfort his upset nephew with his mighty wings, “no my boy, I wanted to see you. I wanted you to help me find the stones, that we could have an adventure together, like father and son, uncle and nephew.” Petrie turned in the shadow of his uncle’s wings. Petrie had not knowm his father, and so looked to Pterano like a father figure. “Will it be scary? Will it be dangerious?” Pterano wrapped his arms around his little nephew and raised him up to shoulder length. “It may be at times frightening, but I will let no harm come to you.” Petrie tried to sound brave, “Well methinks if Its safe.. me go.” Pterano hugged his nephew tightly, “excellent! We will search for the first stone here, this will make your away time from your mother shorter. Oh and don’t tell those friends of yours. Last time they were like oil in water to this quest.” Petrie didn't like lying, but he agreed not to tell anyone about their impending adventure. Petrie went home and took his snuggling stick and fell fast asleep.
