One fateful day, a heavy fog fell upon the Great Valley. Many though it would pass, but over time the fog just got thicker and thicker, nearly consuming most of the great valley. That was not the worst part. They say that those that go into the fog do not come out. The disappearances caused fear to run through the remaining residents. When one small dinosaur gets to close to the fog, he sees a dark, looming figure that should not be in this perfect valley.
Now aware of the threat to their valley, the adults must act, and quickly. A small group assembles to chase off this creature and hopefully find the missing persons. But soon they too, will disappear.
Now, only the most unlikely of heroes must go to find them, but will they be successful?
They have to try, and venture into the fog.
...but remember...never trust what lies in the fog...
-IMPORTANT NOTICE-
I need to figure out if your character is part of the group that goes missing in the Fog, or one that joins later on. This will be importan to keep it organized.
The ones that go missing will consist of adults, and the ones that journey into the fog after them will consist of the children/small adults. Also, Adult flyers are allowed to be part of the second group...only because they can be too useful to the first XP Also, keep in mind the Adults won't show up for another loooong while after their initial appearence...since this will focus mostly on the second groups adventures. XP

Also I'm the GM...so yeah, that's why I control many characters....it's merely for keeping the plot moving smoothly. I hope i don't sound controlling. I want us all to have fun, but you just gotta have a bit of structure for an RP to go smoothly and make it to the end.

I like the fact it is a pure lbt. There seems to be very few of those.

Well, reading about your character and I gotta say...are you sure? I mean, for him to really fit into the story, a lot will have to be taken from him...he'd be a shell of his former self...I mean, with the powers...and necklaces and stuff...and kung-fu fighting...
Do you get what I'm trying to say?
I mean, sure he'd be welcome, if you really gonna accept the changes needed to be done.

It it is the bit about his being a herbivore, there are some paleontologists who upon examining the fossil teeth & jaws of Troodons and comparing them to other animals, including ones alive today, think they could have been omnivores or perhaps even herbivores.
Maybe there can be a pure lbt version of Dante posted over in the pure lbt character thread.

Actually, the herbivore bit I don't have a problem with XP I don't care if he's a troodon herbivore, that's fine...I'm just talking about the special attacks, and powers, and accesories.

Sounds like my chars are about the only ones that do not have inherent powers of some sort. Maybe I should give Mim a rainbow utility belt, Mia (or Rhyn) a power ring, ect.

Since Ruby and Chomper are included, maybe Guido may make an appearance I like that character. Since I have never roleplayed as a FC, I may need some advice as we go, but I may do Guido (if allowed) or Petrie, and maybe an OC, is that ok?

Guido is in the 12th movie and the tv episode the Hermit of Black Rock, so you can watch 1 or both of those to get an idea of his character if you wish. For playing an fc, I'd say take it easy, and go and your own pace.

I've never thought if Blue-eye (my oc) has feathers or not, but he is a deinoychus. Sounds liek they may be about the same age, more or less. Though his herd don't eat flatteeth. They prefer fish, but do eat some other things like crawlers, and non talking things, and know 3 languages.

Yes Longtail is indeed the same species as Rinkus. However his tail length is a birth defect.
Of course Longtail's sharptooth half is in his blood line...it's a part of who he is. Although if the GM says so...I'll have to try to play Longtail without it. Wow...that will be hard! :DD

Take a look at the list, and then tell me, using honest, critical deduction, if you think the list is already too big :p

Not a different char then. & Blue-eyes isn't evil. He traveled with Diver, Rhyn, & Mia during the time they were separated from their families. These events happened during the time of the first lbt movie.

Hey guys, I know this topic is almost a year old, but this seemed like a really great idea for an rp. I know the GM has not been on since October, and I'm not sure when or if he will ever get back on, but if we worked at this would you guys be willing to try and reboot this rp? I would be more than happy to act as the GM and try to sculpt it out, although I will not know how the original GM wanted it to turn out. Then again, he would need to come back on.
Anyway, what do you guys think?

I'm not sure how he wanted it to to turn out, but I think he wanted to adults who'll be lost to be rped first then they are not seen again till near the end of the rp I think. Then the kids set out to look for them.
I'll copy over the char list so folks won't have to keep referring to page 1. Except I"ll leave the ones the original gm was going to play empty since he's not here.

I'll see if I am able to keep up with this rpg due to the limited time I am getting from the university. But I may add Racnar (Cayso's little brother) as another oc for me. I have Leaf-eater characters currently living in the Great Valley, maybe I can try and introduce at least one of them (no guarantees though).
I didn't remember I am using an fc, that is new for me so I'll be glad to receive help as we go :smile .
