The Written Word / My latest written works
« on: July 19, 2014, 11:21:20 PM »
I haven't been on in for ever. I want to share my work and get feedback on it.

A short poem called I Never Thought I'd Get Over You.

I'm looking up at the sky, thinking about our memories--
And all the good times, and the bad; I remember...
When I really blew it hard to the core, beyond recover
After that I never saw you ever again.

I have a longer version of this poem but i want to share something short and sweet of this version.

And here is a spiritual one called Our Father In Heaven

óWe ask you to cleanse us. Give us new hearts and minds. Let us be dead to sin.
Let us grow like plants and you are our gardener who gives us water every day for
we can grow. We need the soil for we can grow. You found us; we were once lost
seeds. Seeds just lying there in the sand exposed to the fiery sun. No one bothered
to plant us, and they didn't even care; they just left us in the dust, but you gave us
your son and he saved us with his blood. He found the seeds that no one believed
in. They thought that we would never grow; but when Christ planted us and gave
us water day…by…day our stems grew taller from the ground and we began to grow.
Everyone is now starting to see. All this time we were meant to succeed! To carry
out your will all throughout the world.

Another short one wrote this when i was in eighth grade and i modified it about few year ago. I just added punctuation to it that's all. It's called My Soul

Deep
So Deep…
Behold a spirit
Shinning bright within
Reaching the heavens for best judgment
To either go to this place
óor the other.

In these last days...

This video I found I it's not mine.

Edit: I just edited the title so it would not consist of capital letters only. We encourage capitalizing only in case it supports the understanding of a message or if there is a different conceivable reason for capitalizing.

1988 Theatrical Release / Uncut version
« on: October 22, 2012, 10:37:29 PM »
It's the theatre version. He saw it when he was six years old. THe sharptooth had scars over his body. I can only take what he said. it played in Norway during the year 1989. That's all I have. I mean both of them were bleeding. There was more voilence and actual blood in the fight scenes. And lava shown in the theatre version during the fight scene.
I only explaining the earthquake and the fight scene. Sharptooth originally had scars over his body in the Theatre version and he got more for fighting littlefoots mother.

1988 Theatrical Release / Uncut version

The Original Land Before Time was more darker then you think. Sharptooth originally had scars over his body. The fight was bloody. Both Longneck and trex was bleeding. Lava was involved. I mean Sharptooth looked scarier in the original and when the thorn hit his eye blood just splattered evverywhere. He lost that eye for good. They showed him bite littlefoots mother's neck and back. no shadow scenes were there. There was lava and the earthquake was intense. My friend lives in Norway and he has scene the movie in theatres as a child. That's all I got to say. I don't think we'll find it. It's gone. Uhm maybe a norweign version that say 1989 on it is a great chance we got and we shoudl search for it. Other than that we are lost.

1988 Theatrical Release / Does LBT make you cry?
« on: September 17, 2012, 08:24:15 AM »
Being 21 I feel like it makes me a huge crybaby, but I don't care. The first movie even a few sequels makes me cry. During those times when you were young it just reminds you of all the innocence you have before you lost some of it. I don't know about anyone, but i did go through things that have changed me lately, and just to look back on a lot of things it helpeed me to see what I have in my heart and never take it for granted. I almost lost my heart, because of this cruel world and what happens in it, but I remeber as a human being I'm glad I have feelings and can express them from what i listen to and see, because that's part of what make me alive today. I don't make sense or not.

1988 Theatrical Release / What could have made the 1st movie better?

I honestly believe if the movie was never cut it would have been better, but that is my opinion.

hello everyone it's been a long time sincce i been on this site. I want to share a few words. I really loved that girl. She was murdered even before i was born. It's just bought more passion to the movie and more emotions towards it. After hearing everything about the movie it being cut and including her it just was so sorrowful to hear about what happened to her. I cried and yes I've been to the site. I don't hate anyone or anybody I just wish there was a lot of help for the parents to prevent that tragedy for happening. I'm not glad how she died or the fact that she died. I'm just glad it's over for her and she doesn't have no stress. Trust me she is in a better place. She is with God now. Rest in peace baby girl. I don't think no child deserves to go through what she endured.

I'm not going to participate in this forum anymore and I got a lot of stuff ahead of me. Pretty soon I'm going to graduate and get my degree. And I was wondering if all my threads can be deleted in the arts section and plus my account. Definitely my stories and art work, because I don't want know one to steal my work.
But it was nice meeting you all though and I will make my goodbye in the introduction forums pretty soon.

1988 Theatrical Release / Outcut land before time scenes
« on: November 20, 2011, 09:51:36 PM »
Hey everyone I have ordered used books of the land before time illustrated books. THe ones close to the movie, and once I get them in the mail I will show it to everyone, because I believe that there are more hidden scenes. One is called what a few talked about "Friends in Need" and the other is called "In Search of the Great Valley. I can't wait. I really think that the Uncut movie is not lost forever, and that it's very rare to get it and majority of people haven't had luck yet.
Well I'm still searching. Once I get the books I'll try to show each page.

I apologize for my crummy English. I write way better than that, I was lazy. Forgive me. I was just adressing to all the post above and wanted to state my view point on it, but yes all are most correct to what I was saying.

I love your guys opinions all good. Who's fault of Lf mother. I agree with it's part of the circle of life. Even it both stayed with their parents there is no absolute garanteed that no would have lost their life. For ex, mamalongneck could have died in the earth quake. a rock could have fell on her broke her back and other things who knows. Sharptooth wasn't just the only problem, but the earthquake. Now that could have changed the story, but the earthquake could have caused them to all get seperated and all five dinos could have met each other and started the adventure like that. It would have not been really that saddening though if you think about it. And little foots fault. Well like i said before if he hadn't snooped off he could have possibly gotten seperated from his family anyway and the other too because of the earthquake. I believed the movie could have been written in a better way and they could have had littlefoots mother still lived. Sharptooth could still be there but, hey that would have made things boring though. But I'm glad they showed what they did. And LFmama was doing what was natural, protecting her baby.

The Fridge / Paranormal encounters

I've had many a paranormal encounter. When I used to live in an apartment, I would be walking to my room and in the crack under the door, I could see shadows running around the room as if someone was in there but no one ever was. And in my current home, the bathroom lit up one time, while the light was off. Every now and then I feel a tug on my back or shoulder. Once, I sat on the couch and right next to me I heard a sigh. No one there.   And every once in a while, I hear someone call my name. Even when I'm alone.
Whoa that's scary. Possibly demons.

Yeah, I do believe we should leave God out of this topic, after all, it is for Paleontology. Also, DollFace, I DID NOT mean to bash you and if it sounded like I did then I'm truly sorry. Sometimes things can just get a little bit carried away. :)
No problem. I'm cool.

Elaine, you're new here. No one is bashing you. Don't take this is as negative in anyway, but you believe what you believe and others believe what they do. Sometimes beliefs conflict but those conflicts can be avoided. You believe that God created everything while others here believe in the theory of evolution. Maybe you should leave God out of this topic. It's for paleontology. I mean absolutely no offense as I don't dwell in the beliefs of others nor do I bash them. Everyone is entitled to believe what they want, but sometimes outspoken beliefs can lead to nasty conflicts. Btw, I'm liking your story Where is God? I'm going to review it later :) But, please, don't let your beliefs get the better of you.
Thank you so much. I didn't want to stir trouble or anything. But okay. I wasn't trying to bash anyone neither and I wanted to get that out there. I will now let it rest in peace.
And to tell you the truth I don't think no one knows how old the earth is only God does.
