Nope haven't tried teamspeak, although it will probably work for me as well. Messengers were the only programs that my mic didn't work for.
Teamspeak does sound better, but then it would be a pain if we wanted to just sit in the server and chat or something. We also sometimes may carry out a conversation in the middle of a game, and to hold down the button so many times just sounds aggrivating lol
But yea, Skype does take up alot of bandwidth. However I used to get a solid ping of about 110 the first time I played with Tanner and Kacie. I don't know why, but this last time I played with them, mine and Kacie's ping were skyrising to about 700. The lowest it would stay at was about 210, and that was pretty bad.
Maybe we could see which clan member has the best internet, and have them host? I'm not sure if that would help, but one of the main reasons I liked Skype so much, was because you could talk freely and didn't have to hold down a button everytime you wanted to say something.
