For those who don't know, Anton Yelchin, the actor best known for playing Pavel Chekhov in the new Star Trek films, died in a freak car accident Sunday morning.

Muhammad Ali, Christina Grimmie, the massacre in Orlando, and now this. June has not been a good month.

This is truly sad news. :( He was taken at such a young age from a freak accident, but his works will remain. RIP
PS. I agree, F-14 Ace, though I think 2016 overall is turning into a bad year for the arts. We have lost so many fine musicians and actors thus far.

R.I.P. 💗😭

Poor guy. That is a truly terrible way to go out.
Second what F-14 Ace said. This year has just been a mess when it comes to celebrity deaths.

Oh my guess, he was the same age as my little sister.

Apparently the accident was linked to a transmission issue with the vehicle where the vehicle would appear to be in "park" but would actually be in neutral and the problem has happened with other cars of the same model. There's gonna be lawsuits over this.
