Henry Heimlich, the guy who came up with the life-saving Heimlich Maneuver, died yesterday.  He was 96 years old.

I remember the case from earlier this year where he actually (for the first time) got to personally save a choking person by using his technique.  His medical contribution will certainly not be forgotten by history or the thousands that it has saved over the years.

96 is a damn good run for anyone. A man who invented a procedure that's saved lives deserved a good run like that. RIP
