Does anyone know of a good file converter that is hopefully free? I need to convert a couple .mkv files into either .wmv or .avi. They are in the 600-700 mb range, since I'm pretty sure the size matters.

I personally use Allok Video to MP4 Converter, but I don't think it's free.

SUPER Video Converter works perfectly and is free. Its a pain in the butt to navigate the webpage, but you'll find the program, and there's many options.
