Hello together,
1st: we have a new artist in our gallery!!! Fox MacCoy from Germany.
2nd: the NEWS-box on the left side has a scroll-function now. So you can also look for older News.
I wish I would have more time, but I have to learn very much next time for school. I've so much pics and other stuff, I have to put online...

Well that much of a update for a months wait. I was expecting more. Some of Littlefoot's laterest pics and mine. and some film shot pics. like it said in the last update that will be up. don't see it up thou...
Sorry to say I am quite disappointed in this long monthly wait... :(

Wayne, it's not as easy as it looks to update...it does take time, so I'd cut Christian some slack having a full-time job as well. ;)

I am to be blamed for not yet contacting Christian. I was going to tell him about your wish for a faster release of your pictures in the next mail to him. However, I was still waiting for a response to my last mail to him and was quite frankly to lazy to set up a mail just with that request. So that is why there weren't any other pictures in the update. Christian gave our new member's pictures first priority. However I shall in my next mail ask Christian about this, and I can assure you that you won't have to wait another month for your pictures to turn up.

Weird thou... he can tell us about the update but not bothered to answer his mails. So that why he haven't put any up. All it takes is about FIVE minutes to check mail. how can you be packed work if you can't even do that?
I always find time to check my mail incase it something important.

Whoa! Chill out! If the time for playing the waiting game have been extended slightly then that's all there is to it! Everyone's got their own personal agenda to attend to and it just so happens Christian's is a bit full at the mo. Im sure we'll see our pictures up soon enough! ;)

Sorry folks, (especially Threehorn) that is takes so much time to update the gallery, but you don't have to write an annual examination in three month!
The only time I have the opportunity to put pics online is at my practical, and there are also other things to do, which have priority in that moment.
It's hard to keep track of all that pics. Some have to be reworked and from ALL pics I have to make thumbnails, have to put them online and check all links. Only the filmpics are about 200. And I don't want to put them online only, there must be a concept, for example what information you want to show, you have to be clear about the arrangement and so on.
Only to create the scroll-function in the NEWS-box took about 2 or 3 days.
And I check my mails several times per day. You also can send your mails to me directly, not at first to Malte, so that he doesn't have to transmit all your pics to me.
Sorry, but I only want to create a good site, and that takes some time. There are enought websites with terrible big fonts, glimmering colors, long loading times and a bad navigation on the web.

Erm...I'm having a bit of an issue with the gallery. For some bizarre reason, I can't see Fox MacCoy up on the Artists List. :unsure: My page appears to be stuck on the same thing all the time. Dunno if any new art work's gone up but I don't think I'm getting any changes through. Someone wanna help me out on this?! Does my net config need to be altered or something? :huh:

Do a hard refresh of the main page and it should work just fine. ;)
Ctrl + Shift + "Refresh" on the browser

did it work? Can you see the changes now? Mostly I don't delete all temporary internet files, because other (visited) sites would load too slow. I use the refresh button of my browser: if you click four or five times very fast on this button, it should reload the whole site.

Actually...as soon as I complained it wasnt working, the moment I went back to it, lo and behold, the updated version pops up! :rolleyes: Sod's law scores again! LOL :angry: :bang :slap

As for the definition on Murphy's/Sod's Law...it's more along the lines of:
"If something has the potential to screw up, then give the chance...it will!"
For example, the classic "dropping buttered toast". Using Sod's Law, more times than less, a piece of buttered toast will land butter side DOWN to cause as much mess as possible rather than landing butter side up and minimising mess. :slap
Or...how many times have you bought something thinking you've got the best deal and you wonder into another shop and you find exactly the same product but CHEAPER! That's another example of Sod's Law :bang
LOL! Think this would make a great sub-section in the Party Section alongside the jokes. How has Sod's law hit you? PMSL! :lol:
