This looks great, Flathead! I wasn't familiar with Brootie until now, but he clearly isn't your average yellowbelly! :PCera Looking forward to seeing the rest of this!

Thanks everyone!  :)littlefoot

@Gentle Sharptooth
Funny enough that pose was ripped directly from Cave of Many Voices, where Chomper drop kicks a stalactite :p

@Sneak
I'm hoping to get a couple more pages done before the end of this month!

@RainbowFaceProtege
Haha yeah he's definitely different :PCera

Oops I commented on DeviantArt but didn't post here!

Awesome work, great job on it so far. I appreciate how small you had to draw for this and how clean your lines are, especially keeping that in mind. Can't wait to see more of Brootie's adventures :)

The panels look really crisp! I guess I'm used to thicker lines from you. The background pan shot in the first panel is gorgeous too. And hey, it's Brootie... what a surprise. :PCera
Would it be possible for swimmers and flyers to get more love around here? Both figuratively… and literally.

All good Iris. Thanks! Yeah I suppose I've had plenty of practice drawing smaller images so it wasn't too much of a stretch for me.

Of course Owls! Who else would it be?  :PCera Yeah thicker lines don't work as well when drawing smaller shapes. I'm glad you like the first frame as it was the type of wide angle background drawing that I would've wanted to include in my original drawing of Brootie.

For those who have been dying to see what happens now that the Fast-Biter woke up, the wait has come to an end  :PCera

Looks like Brootie managed to come out on top (wouldn't be much of an adventure if he didn't :p) One more page left to wrap up this small little story. Hopefully I can get it done in time haha

Haha maybe I did, but it was a lot of fun drawing it :p

Thanks! I've wanted to draw something that shows off what Brootie can actually do for a while now, as absurd as it may be (which goes along with the whole crazy concept I guess  :PCera )

Well, I managed to finish it before the end of the month.

Finally a bit of dialogue :p
Kinda wanted to do a situation much like the interaction between Littlefoot and Rooter, only if Rooter gave even less crap  :PCera

Definitely a bit of an ambitious idea to do. I always say I'm gonna keep things simple and then do stuff like this. Glad to be done with it now though.

Is that... A young Doc?!  :rhett_ohno If so, this would explain so much... A yellowbelly shaped him into the awesome dino he grown into.  :PCera

poor little longneck...

Brootie, I understand your world position, but you could try a little harder than, talking with small just-orphan child. :/

Thank for this well-drawn comics, Flathead!!! I loved this experience.

Haha wouldn't that be something  ;)Cera But honestly that wasn't something that I planned. I actually used Mrs. Maia as a reference so it isn't actually a longneck, though it still does look like one I guess haha

This whole comic was very impressive, Flathead! :Mo You drew every single frame of it so well, I've really got to hand it to you for finishing the whole story (and with time to spare)!

"The ongoing adventures of Brootie, the childhood trauma specialist"  :bestsharptooth

But in all seriousness, this is excellent work, Flathead.  :)  I must admit that I missed Brootie when he was first presented, and I am glad this comic has alerted me to the previous artwork.  This dinosaur is truly the antithesis of the yellowbellies that we saw in the 13th film.  :PCera  Now I am curious what the gang would think if they ever came across the lone yellowbelly.  :thinking

Go ahead and check out my fanfictions, The Seven Hunters, Songs of the Hunters, and Menders Tale.

Thanks Rhombus! Maybe he's such a childhood trauma specialist since he's had ample experience with it? :p It would be an interesting meeting for the gang for sure haha

Brootie is such a no-nonsense dino. He's like Doc. Grumpy and takes no shit. :p

Also congrats on drawing literally 3 full pages of this dude hahaha.

Alright, I'm back with a surprise.

This is a commission that was done for TLD and his fanfic, The Swimmer Trials. Quite the intense scene. Took me awhile to get the poses right, but in the end I'm quite happy with the results.
