Gamers Zone / Games that could have been much better if...

Morrowind - the game was the predecessor of Oblivion and really I was VERY impressed by it. It is imaginative, largely free choice of action, and it has a HUGE world to play in. Unfortunately it lacks a manageable "to do list". Any talk or action of any significance, any quest etc. are recorded in a diary in chronological order. What this game really lacks with that hundreds of a pages diary is a function to just see those entries referring to quests yet to be fulfilled. A very simple thing to do I think that was regrettably not done making the game much less well arranged after you played a while and making it very tricky to get back into the game after you did not play for a while (forgetting what your character had to do in the process).
I believe either one of the two expansions went some way, although the system wasn't perfect, to amend this rather obvious and annoying omission. You could view just pages relating to a specific quest or topic I seem to recall.

I'm not exactly convinced myself, but we should at least ask why, people.
Why do you think these would be good for future LBT merchandise?

I will admit to always getting stuck on level...3 (I think that's it? The first creatureless one?) of Black and White.

I'm not referring to State universities or colleges.  If I did, I would have included it. Especially since universities and colleges are a different form of education, it's not compulsory and often attending the higher branches of education systems it requires money.
Ah, neither am I. Just to clear things up, in the UK if you want to go to a "public school" (or private school, many don't bother distinguishing the two, despite their opposite names) you do have to hand over extra cash. "State schools" are separate ones you get into on taxes alone.

Sorry, confusion arose from that fact that here, a public school is roughly the same as a private school with one or two differences, not a state school. Post amended.

Uh, where's the option for state school?

EDIT: bit of Googling shows that an American public school equates to a British state school, not a British public school. You learn something new everyday.

Computer and Electronics / The new MSN 2011...

Ah, right. I'm largely happy with 2009s GUI to be honest. I remember feeling some loss for folder sync or whatever it was called, but aside from that I felt it was alright (never a user of anything more advanced than messages and file sending, so any changes beyond that will have gone largely over my head).

I still think it is dumb they forced us to upgrade, and if they force us to upgrade once again I'm gonna ditch the program.
What do you mean by "forced"? I mean, I'm still chatting happily on the 2009 version.

I always quite liked the Hymn(s). On a side note, FFX is probably my favourite FF for challenges (although I've only completed two thus far).

Some people like parodies, others don't. There is a perfectly willing target audience there and fair enough to anyone who wants to exploit that (although I will admit that much of the fan base for these films doesn't have the most...sophisticated tastes).

EVERYONE hates twilight.
That seems a bit much. A lot of people really like the series, and some of us just consider it another piece of mediocre writing (I can't vouch for the films however; never seen them).

The Fridge / Is stealing wrong?

Interestingly enough, something kinda like that happened in the 1st land before time movie, which I wouldn't have mentioned had this not been a forum on the topic, when those sauropods rushed at that tiny oasis, taking almost everything, and leaving only a bit left for the main characters.
That's more of a "first-come first-served" philosophy than stealing; the Gang didn't actually own the tree.

L: This one is not to hard to avoid using since it is not used very much just as some previous and some that will come after.
N: What a shame Kor! To fall there after all those previous successes is truly bad luck.

You have tried pressing the "Autoplay" button to turn it off, right?

Computer and Electronics / Death of the Desktop?

There's always the gaming aspect; when you want the biggest, meanest machine to run the latest games I would imagine you'd be best off with a desktop. For that reason, I can't see them disappearing any time soon.

Now, I am from the wiki, although due to real life issues I've been barely active there recently. I did however quickly check out your edits just before posting this, and I can put any fears you have that your edits are "not good" to rest. Seriously man, keep it up. Feel free to grab me there if you want about anything wiki-related.
