Okay, I just want to discuss a little something with Embed Codes. When it comes to creating a website that is highly depended on videos, Embed Codes can be a big help.
However, I was recently on Yahoo! Video because I wanted to embed my Ali is Unfaithful into a little area on a site. This is the end result of the code:
- Code: on
<div><object width="512" height="322"><param name="movie" value="http://d.yimg.com/static.video.yahoo.com/yep/YV_YEP.swf?ver=2.2.46" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="AllowScriptAccess" VALUE="always" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><param name="flashVars" value="id=15902125&vid=6122284&lang=en-us&intl=us&thumbUrl=http%3A//l.yimg.com/a/p/i/bcst/videosearch/11596/94386408.jpeg&embed=1" /><embed src="http://d.yimg.com/static.video.yahoo.com/yep/YV_YEP.swf?ver=2.2.46" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="512" height="322" allowFullScreen="true" AllowScriptAccess="always" bgcolor="#000000" flashVars="id=15902125&vid=6122284&lang=en-us&intl=us&thumbUrl=http%3A//l.yimg.com/a/p/i/bcst/videosearch/11596/94386408.jpeg&embed=1" ></embed></object><br /><a href="http://video.yahoo.com/watch/6122284/15902125">Ali is Unfaithful</a> @ <a href="http://video.yahoo.com" >Yahoo! Video</a></div>
Is it just me or does that seem like a little... much for an embed code? As I recall, YouTube's is shorter.
*checks one his friend has*
What do you know? I was right.
- Code: on
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2_fpTQn7CXM&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2_fpTQn7CXM&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
So anyways, your thoughts on Embed Codes?
