By the way, one of my cousins plans to go to Johns Hopkins University, which is in Baltimore, Maryland. And I've always wanted to take Chinese.

I've heard of Johns Hopkins University. Chinese is an interesting language to learn, but it's also hard because of the pinyin tones (for pronounciation) and writing the characters. Overall, I'm having fun in my class mainly because not only am I learning a new language, but I'm also learning about the culture. There's a quote that says that for each language you learn you live another life.

I used to live in the Hampton Roads area (pretty close to the North Carolina border).

I love the outdoors too!

I actually have a friend from High school who is currently attending Old Dominion. It's a great University (I've been there before a couple of times on school trips), so I'm sure you'll have fun.
