Random question, I have a boredom problem....
Anyway, does anyone actually read or view profiles?
I do so on occasion but often times, I don't bother.
-
Eh, I do look at profiles once in a while, but not very often. -_-
-
I usually read the profiles of the more active members, yes. Knowing their age, where they're from, and other miscellaneous facts helps me to remember and identify with that person. Of course if they only post once a week or whatever, I don't see the point in learning all that information. But if you're a regular here, chances are I've viewed your profile at least once.
-
Sometimes I check out profiles. Apart from the reasons already named some staff work also requires us to look into profiles or the member list (e.g. to see when people joined when the time comes to hand out the joining awards to those who have been around for at least two and a half years).
-
I check them out sometimes. Mostly to see if there's a chance a member will visit the GOF on his/her birthday or a few days after.

I think it's always good to at least have a glance over someone's profile and see what they are willing to share with the world. I have a look every once in a while but can't say I make a habit of it. Good to know the folks you're in touch with. Helps to build bridges and friendship can spark from there. That's how I met a few people on here ;)

I used to a lot, but these days I don't do it as often anymore :)
-
I only view the profiles when I need to search for a topic or send a PM or Email to a member. But now, I rarely even view my own profile unless I'm going to edit it.
-
Every now and then I will if I see that someone has been quite active.

I've seen most of the profiles here, including those that belong to members who don't visit the GOF anymore. Reading these profiles satisfies my curiosity.
