Commercials that you hate

What are the stupidest, most annoying, and just downright loathable commercials on the air? Here are mine.

Head on! Apply directly to the forehead!
Do I even need to explain why I hate this commercial?

Light and Fit yogert commercial.
I absolutely hate this commercial. I hate it so much that I actually change the channel when this crap comes on. Why do I hate it so much? Well, for one thing, the slurping noise is just downright gross and if you'll notice, the idiot didn't exactly pay for that yogert either. So not only does this commercial promote obsene table manners, it also promotes shoplifting!

This A1 Steak Sauce commercial.
I already hate A1 commercials. They promote acts of stupidity, like licking a hot grill This one is right on par with the one above though. It is vile, evil, and it promotes stealing. If a complete stranger sat down at my table and began eating my food, I'd probably take my fork and jab it through his hand.

That new Lifelock commercial.
I couldn't find a link to it, but basically there is just this woman sobbing and whining about how her identity got stolen. Her whiny voice is annoying as hell and on top of that, the guy at the end looks like Al Gore.

All the Brinks Home Security commercials.
If one of those guys kicks in my door, I'm not going to be answer the phone when it rings. I'm going to be be getting my gun and blowing his brains out.

I hate the "Male Enhancements" commerciels, end of story. Not saying anymore in fear of getting ban..

Other then that, i think it was a bowflex commerciel. "I gave all my fat clothes to my fat friends" Said the jerk in the commercial. Bet they aren't his friends anymore!

I really despise the NutriSystem commercials! Or any other diet fad commercial at that. There's one in which one of the females mentions her husband calls her his "trophy wife"

! I bet she's a walking, talking example of the female stereotype

. Might as well wear a sign saying, "Look at me! I'm *name inserted's* play toy!" Okay, I'll cut it out before I get too explicit

. But seriously, go see a dietician for the SAFEST ways to lose weight. Don't listen to some potential scam of a commercial <_<.

I HATE fad diet and weight loss drug ads. As an EMT and generally someone well versed in medicine, I feel that those fad diets and weight loss drugs are not exactly the best or safest ways to lose weight AND they are promoting fraudulent if not unsafe ways to lose weight.

Any commercial advertising drugs for male enhancement, depression, weight loss, and insomnia that have a lot of side effects, including depression and thoughts of suicide.

All of the Orbit gum commercials make me want to vomit. They are so poorly made it's not even funny!

Also I'm not too fond of the Kid's Bop commercials. It's like these kids think they are so awesome because they are singing clean versions of originally explicit songs. Yeah that really makes you popular.

Every single freecreditreport.com commercial ever made.

Progressive Insurance's current line of commercials, with that irritating, braindead floozy and her stupid haircut (Flo, I think)

Pretentious car commercials. The kind that tend to talk about things like "grace" and "beauty" and "affordable luxury", and often have the car driving along a deserted road (sometimes leaving noticeable trails of light as it moves) in a city with strange illumination at night. Especially Scion, with the crappy techno music they put in each commercial, complete with a stylized version of their stupid jingle, and their moronic tagline.

Any alcohol commercial that actually has the balls to brag about the taste of their carbonated pisswater. And that goes for all sorts of flavoured medicine and so-called "health foods", too. Matter of fact, I'm sick of commercials talking about great taste at all. Taste is one of the most subjective things you can talk about. It's entirely up to the individual whether something tastes good or not, and since you're not exactly likely to see any product's taste dissed in its own commercial, the whole idea should just be scrapped. Just give me the facts and shut up.

Any commercial that tries to portray a "parent-child" moment; they inevitably fail miserably at it, and the whole thing ends up looking awkward and creepy.

Anti-drug commercials that tell you to "just be yourself". It never seems to occur to these morons that some peoples' true self really is a poseur, a follower; someone who's pathetic enough to cave into social pressure like that because that's the kind of weakling he truly is on the inside. These idiots need to come up with a better way to tell people not to do drugs.

Gamestop commercials. "Power to the Players" my ass.

I don't really "hate" any commercial they air. Sure there might be some that either annoy me or I just don't care for them, but I wouldn't say I "hate" them. I don't see the point in hating commercials. To me, they are not something worth getting upset over. As far as I'm concerned, if you don't like a commercial, then just don't watch it. Change the channel or mute the TV if a commercial you hate happens to be on. Just my opinion on this, of course.

Any weight loss commercial which features a gimmicky piece of bullshit as the key to losing weight. Like the current one about this piece of equipment that you use to swing your body from side to side with the promise of "turning that flab into ab in just a few weeks". Give me a break, that contraption looks more at home on a child's playground.

I don't watch a lot of TV but I gotta say, those Geico caveman commercials were pretty bad. I also hate all commercials about weight loss "miracles." Oh yeah, just take this pill and be as flat as a board! Gimme a break. Anyone who buys into that garbage is a total moron. They even say crap like "This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA" or "Results not typical" or "In combination with diet and exercise." It's just a frickin' joke. I should buy Aquafina water, replace the label with my own and say that drinking 1 of these a day will cure cancer. All I'd have to do is have the disclaimers at the bottom and I'd be 100% bulletproof.

: Oh, and BTW, diet and exercise is all that's needed to lose weight! You only need a "miracle" if you're not doing this properly. If you do things properly and you're still not losing weight, see your doctor and get some REAL medicine for whatever condition you've got.
