Thought of putting this in brain food, but it said for non-LBT related things, so I hope here is okay.

I love looking up trivia/mistakes/ect of movies I like. Here are some interesting things I did'nt know and thought you'd all like to read.



1.) During development, Cera started out as a male triceratops called 'Bambo'. It was George Lucas's idea to make Cera a girl triceratops.

2.) Steven Spielberg and George Lucas originally wanted the film to have no dialog, like the Rite of Spring sequence in Fantasia (1940). But, to make the film appealing to children, they abandoned this idea, and got actors and actresses to do the voices.

3.) The role of Ducky was Judith Barsi's favorite of her own film roles.

4.) Originally planned for release in fall, 1987. Production was delayed by a year due to the relocation of Sullivan Bluth Studios to Dublin, Ireland.

5.) The Haunted Mansion thunderclap is heard right at the beginning of the first storm, when it frightens Baby Cera.

6.) 29 species of animals were featured in this film. 5 of them were already extinct by the time the movie was set.

7.) The film's theme song, "If We Hold on Together", was sung by 'Diana Ross' and became a huge hit in Japan. It did so well there that it became a karaoke standard.

Anyway, a few days ago I was rearrangeing my game room that my nephew disorganized and, since the tv down there is'nt hooked up to the dish tv, I popped in Land Before Time for background noise.
Well, I was cleaning and it dawned on me. Ducky has to be the oldest of the five because it was her who hatched first, followed by Cera, then Littlefoot.
We have NO idea where Petre falls into place because he is, oddly, the only one we did'nt see hatch. He could very well be the oldest for all we know.

But it came to me because of how Ducky acts so young and I realised that she's the oldest by a few moments.
I guess we can discuss: Do they act their age, where does Petre fall in the catagory (and maybe why he was never seen hatch) and even some discussion on Spike?

Now I may be missing something but from what I see at the begining, the egg that contained Littlefoot at the start of the movie, seemed to have come from a diffrent mother.
You see the egg stealer get caught in the act, then the egg travles away from the nest to what seems like a diffrent one. So my question is, is Littlefoot adopted or am I missing something at the start?
