The rules are the same as last year, so if you've read those there is nothing new here :)
Joining:
1) Everyone who wants his or her fanfiction to be part of the awards must enter their fanfiction before August 25, 2014. You may enter up to 5 of your fanfictions, but can only have 1 fanfiction award in your signature (from this year, 2014). Fanfiction must include the following criteria (subject to change):- The fanfiction has to include at least 1 of the main characters from The Land Before Time. It would not be an LBT fanfiction otherwise. Preferably, this character has maintain his or her actual characteristics (so Littlefoot would not be some kind of dictator out to murder everyone).
- Fanfiction has to be either a script, poetry or prose. It can consist of several chapters or just a shorter story, but the minimum length required is 1 full page in Microsoft word (Calibri 11, or Times New Roman 12). If you do not own Microsoft Word, ask me to copy your fanfiction to see if it is eligible.
- The fanfiction should have been updated or created between the last fanfiction award (aug 3, 2013) and now (aug 11, 2014) and should be posted on the Gang of Five as a full story or as a link to fanfiction sites. It does not have to be finished.

1) We list all fanfictions that you can vote for in one thread. In that thread you can post your rating for the fanfiction. Voting is simple, but it will take some time. You may pick any of the fanfictions you've read, and only those you have read. You will rate this fanfiction a mark from 1 to 10, and include a little description of why you want to give that fanfiction that mark. This description should include your opinion and should show that you've actually read the fanfiction.

Because: This fanfiction was average. It did not keep my attention span for much longer than 5 minutes. Next to that it was so obvious what would happen to Cera, everyone knew that she would eventually escape from the Sharptooth. However it is still an interesting plot line and could be made into a movie if it was written with more care and enthusiasm.

I rate it: 8/10
Because: Wow! I've never seen anyone write this well! As much as I despise human influence in the land before time, it was awesome to see how Littlefoot communicated with them.
3) If you have submitted your fanfiction as nomination, you HAVE to rate someone else's fanfiction (you may not rate your own). You need to review at least one fanfiction for every fanfiction you submit. If you submit 5, you review 5!
4) After the awards are over, everyone who participated in the fanfiction award will get an award for them to show in their signature. It will state the following:

Number of votes: 3
Average rating: 7/10
You may only include 1 fanfiction award per year in your signature, no matter how many fanfictions you submitted that year. - Just pick your favourite.
You will not be disqualified for the appreciated member award if you join these awards.

Is there some kind of limit regrading OC's?
I'm thinking of submitting something,however there are quite a few OCs and one of them is a major character along side the main gang. Also few OCs are some-what major and theres quite a few as background characters.
The stories main focus characters are five movie,one OC. And an movie and OC as a sideplot.
If this is all good,I'll enter n my fic,after I add another chapter I'm currently working on the story I'm entering is nowhere near finished though but it's decent enough. I'm an beginner writer so it won't be the greatest story in the world,but I try.
So yeah,if I can have an answer regarding OC,that will be lovely :yes

There's no limit to OCs :) So long the official characters get enough attention, which they seem to according to your description, it's fine ^^

Seeing that all entries need to have been updated no earlier than Aug 3, 2013, I'm honestly not sure if my fanfic (the second of my LBT/Bionicle stories, Quest for the Mask of Life, which I have since placed on hiatus) would be eligible. The latest chapter was posted on Jun 29, but the latest update of any kind was the previous chapter being edited on Aug 24 (there's a link to the story in my signature if you want to see the proof). With those two details in mind, is my fanfic eligible for this year's awards? If not, I don't mind. I still plan on voting for other stories, anyway.

So if I understand it right, it is the same fic as you submitted last year, except for an edited chapter? Did much change in the chapter or was it just to edit out some typos or the like? If you added some new information then I'm fine with submitting it again :)

To be honest, I don't even remember the extent of editing I had done for that particular chapter. Usually (if I remember correctly), most of the editing I've done to each chapter is fixing grammar errors and often adding in a few small descriptions and other things to help make certain details easier to understand.
Since I can't remember the full extent of the edits I made to that chapter, I'm afraid I can't answer your question with certainty.
Though I do wonder... the latest chapter has not yet received any editing at all. If I were to finally get around to editing that chapter, would the story then become eligible? Or you would consider it already eligible and thus this effort may be unnecessary?

Well, if that's the case the story is exactly the same as the last time you submitted it, so people could not judge your improvement on the writing scene. I don't remember who voted for your story the past couple of times, but if it is the same person you'll probably gain the same rating again.

Even if I do submit this story and it's eligible for voting, I seriously doubt it'll be voted on by the same people as before. I just looked back at the voting for last year and the previous year (both times, my story got only one vote), and the only two members who had voted on it previously have not been active for a long time.
So, with all of that in mind, can I submit my fanfic or not? I honestly don't even care if I end up receiving no votes at all on it. As far as I'm concerned, I'm unlikely to be making any further progress on it anytime soon, so I might as well take this as a final opportunity to get some feedback on it.

Ok stupid question here but.
Have I sent in something? I honestly can not remember and I never save a copy of messages I send.
I'm pretty sure I sent something,but I've forgotten to click 'send message' many many times.
Also would my one-shot be able to be entered? I can't tell if it would be a full page as I do not have microsoft word,but the word count adds up to 2,160 words,now sure how long that will be regarding 'pages',it's just a little one-shot of mine,if I can I will enter it,cause why not.

Yes you have. I'm sorry that I haven't made a voting topic yet with all the entries. I'll try to get to that today. I'm really busy with packing since I'm moving to Dublin on monday, so I haven't really gotten anything done online.
