I usually prefer songs that speak to me or I connect with. Sure, like most people, I enjoy a good tune, but more often than not, I like being on a personal level with the meaning behind the song. One of my favorite genres of music is romance. I enjoy hearing various takes on love relationships through music, and here is one I heard several years ago that I, ahem, “fell in love with.”

It fully reflects my views on being with a girl. I am happy with whatever they decide to do with themselves. If they want to pile on the makeup and do up their hair, I will still enjoy their company to the fullest. The preference of my mind, though, is for them just to look natural. What is more beautiful to you guys? A field with trees, a brook, little animals, and berry bushes, or a field with tall buildings and towers with concrete blanketing the Earth? I’ve liked most for girls to just be casual and look natural. Again, I want them to be happy so am fine with anything, but also again, this is just my preference.

Besides that, this song also touches on judging by the inside and not worrying on the out, and I know that concept very well. The first girl I ever dated, I fell in love with before I had even seen what she looked like. Her personality is just so strong, kind, and thoughtful that I didn’t need to see with my eyes in order to hold with my heart. Girls that prefer just dressing casually and work more on their inner workings than their appearance is where my favorite company lies. Anyway, without further ado, here is the song I’ve been listening to:

Yeah I can relate to you Sharp Tooth. I also like songs that have meanings also. Like songs that fit your life. And are truly heartfelt. Like Linkin Park a ton of there songs fit my life very well. And are verry good powerful songs. Those are the kind of songs I like. I like depressing songs as well. I mean very depressing songs that have a good life meaning in the lyrics.

Arigatou by the J-pop band Bonz.
The damned song makes me cry every single time I hear it, yet I keep listening to it...because it reminds me of the one time I've ever really been happy...
Gods, I am pathetic, aren't I?
