Sukki froze in shock as the man called out to her. He knew she was there?! She'd never been spotted so easily before! But...looking at him, she could see he was a wolf, and he did sound friendly enough.
Plus, in her experience, things usually went bad when she refused to show herself. So, slowly, she stood up from her position, and took a few steps out onto the path in front of the house. She got close enough that Eric would be able to see her, but she remained on the other side of the path, watching him cautiously.
"Umm...hi..." she finally spoke up, unsure of what else to say to this stranger.

Sukki pondered this for a moment. "...Raw fish!" she smiled, as if that should be a perfectly normal order at a western restaurant. "But..." she looked a little worried. "I don't know French, meow...only English!"

Sukki popped her head out of some bushes nearby the house, as a pair of village guards ran past. They appeared to be searching high and low for something...or perhaps someone. "Think I saw her head towards the gate." one of the guards said, as the other nodded, and they slowly disappeared further into the village.
Sukki sighed in relief, looking at the loaf of bread in her hands. She gleefully took a bite. Being regular bread, it wasn't the most delicious thing she'd ever eaten, but it was warm, fresh and soft to the touch! She definitely chose the right windowsill to steal it from...even though she'd been spotted by the mother of the house, and the guards were quickly alerted.
She was lucky it was the evening; the guards probably hadn't seen her too clearly, but still it was better to keep a low profile. The cat took another bite of her evening's earnings as she silently watched the house across the street. It looked like it was quieting down, the residents had finished supper and were probably going to bed.
...But wait! She ducked down carefully under the bushes again. Someone came out of the house? A man, from the looks of it. She wondered what he was doing. Didn't rich people sleep in comfy, fluffy beds in their houses? Sighing again, she wished she could sleep in a bed sometime too...but for now, she was content on watching this individual, to see what he would do next, all while trying to remain hidden from his sights.

Sukki shivered a little at the mention of her being 'yummy'. She wasn't going to go into some giant's belly, not if she had something to say about it! Quickly she scampered off after the lioness, deciding she should keep her distance from the scary restaurant owners.
Arriving at her table, she sat down carelessly on one of the seats, glancing around the room once more. The cat found herself staring at the various plates of food that had been served around the room...this restaurant gave her the creeps, but she was too hungry to think about that right now!
Briefly, she wondered if there was anyone friendly in this place she could talk to.

Sukki took in Dagnino's words, taking a moment to process their meaning. "Boss, meow? I'll sit anywhere!" she scratched her ear with impatience, but she knew she had to be polite. She looked at Wildcat. He seemed to exude a distinct air of authority...he must be the boss that tiger was referring to.
"Hi!" she chirped happily, holding out a hand to shake. Though it looked like handshaking wasn't something she did very often - her stance was completely wrong for a start.

Just a few minutes before, Sukki arrived at the cavemouth. A little smile crossed her face and she sniffed around gently. No doubt about it, that smell was close...wait, was that a building?!
The cat stared in amazement at the restaurant building that had been set up inside the mountain. Well that explained it! Rushing over there, she momentarily dropped to all fours and scrambled over to a window. Pressing her hands and face against the glass, she could see various delicious-looking dishes set out on tables, fresh ones coming in from a mysterious room at the back of the restaurant.
Sukki found herself drooling at the prospect of such a feast. Quickly, she peeled herself away from the window and made her way around the building, until she finally reached the open doorway. She looked around nervously for a moment, and just set foot inside, when she was confronted by two...no, three people.
For a second, she panicked, surprised by their sudden appearance. She looked up at the first one, Dongwa. "Umm, hi...!" she blinked, then cocked her head quizzically to one side. "Wildcat CafĂ, meow?
She looked passed the three people into the restaurant, straining her neck to get a better look inside. After seeing a number of people dining at the tables, she looked back at Dongwa, but not before glancing a few times at Wildcat and Dagnino. "Can I...eat here? Please?"
It seemed she had very limited knowledge about how these so-called 'restaurants' worked.

14-year-old Sukki sighed to herself as she made her way across the desert, dragging her feet slovenly. She had a hand placed on her stomach, as if trying to supress the growling noise that emanated from within. "I'm...hungry...meow..." she moaned to no one in particular, a miserable look on her face.
Looking up ahead of her, she fixed her gaze on the tall rocky mountain that she was approaching. She had caught a wiff of the delightful scent of cooked food, carried delicately across the desert breeze. She was sure it came from that mountain; or rather, from the giant open cavemouth on its side. She didn't think she could last much longer...it had been a whole 5 hours since she last ate!
Apparently according to Sukki, 5 hours was a long time. And whatever this mysterious foodsource was, she just had to get there. Maybe there would be fish...well, not much longer now. She'd arrive at the mountain soon...and then it was only a matter of finding something to eat!
Or so she thought.

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah in fact my screenname is from Neopets. Kind of odd really...I'm not that fond of Neopets as a game, but I adore that creature ;p It's a name that just stuck somehow over the years! Though nowadays people usually call me 'Wox' XD
