Hi,

I am considering a project and am just wondering how much interest there would be for the result:

I am considering setting up a database similar to http://www.pianothemes.com dedicated to LBT songs.  The site would host piano (other instruments if requested) sheet music, arranged by myself, of as many songs as possible.  I have completed "Adventuring" as an example and for anyone who wants to try it:

http://share.idrive.com/driveway/jsp/dway_...p?id=mkkdy05828

As you can see in the .pdf, I have included left- and right-hand accompaniment, as well as the melodic part, allowing a player of any skill and any requirement to be able to play it.

Please let me know if you would be interested in more sheet music like this.  If there's enough interest, I'll keep them coming, in due time.  I'm rather busy until January but I'm looking for something to do after that. B)

I am also willing to produce sheet music of any of the orchestral tracks found in the LBT series if there is sufficient interest.

Cool!

I do have one concern: who would be the primary audience for LBT sheet music?  In this case, it would be somewhat experienced musicians because most of the songs will be rather difficult to play.  If you check out the Adventuring sheet music, it's not easy for a novice!  I just wonder how many people in the community will actually have a use for something like this...I know I can't play the two-handed stuff in this song without a Lot of practice (which I haven't done :p).
I just wonder if maybe the audience isn't really there...

i probably won't be able to play it on the piano as i've never really taken any lessons. In fact, the only reason why i use my keyboard is to use it for tuning. i took a look at adventuring, and it looks like i would have a blast trying to learn it :lol . But its worth a shot!

A few years ago I read a book in pdf format.  It was something like 400 pages long and it had lessons.  By the end I was able to play almost anything I read.  That was years ago though and I've forgotten most of the stuff.  I would have a lot of interest in acquiring sheet music of LBT though.  It would give me a reason to read the book again. :P:

Even if there's not a lot of people who can play this right now, our community is growing and it is inevitable that we will eventually have some very skilled musicians here.  Might as well get a head start on it.  ;)

*bump*

For those of you who haven't been around the GoF for awhile and are interested in seeing some LBT sheet music (songs, orchestral scores), I'm interested in getting a count of the number of people who would like to see such a thing.

I would be interested in LBT sheet music, though I doubt my modest keyboard playing abilities will be sufficient to play complex accompaniement etc.

I am doing my absolute best to cater to all skill levels from beginner to advanced with my arrangements.

My scores will all have at least 3 (possibly 4) parts on them: the simple melody, the piano right-hand and the piano-left-hand.  A beginner can play the melody part and be satisfied.  I am also willing to write in simple chords for a beginner player to play with their left hand (the 4th part).

Advanced players will have a full piano score to play from.
