Ehh... I'm down in the dumps again, kinda... So, here's another one from me, about my current situation... Started today, and finished it...
Frozen Meatsack
Twilighted day, covered in
Gray, as the coffee grows
Cold and runs dry. Sipping
Away, staring into space,
As the teardrops slowly
Rise through the pain...
Flowers in bloom, birds singing
A song, can hardly break
Through the lonely feeling
Inside...
BROKEN! CRUSHED! DESTROYED!
The dreams that he'd held,
Since he was a boy...! Taken
Away, like a thief in the
Night, without the knowledge
To put up a fight, abysmal
Shattering, illusion gathering,
Jagged glass frozen in
Time...
Gathering of fragments, and cutting
Of hands, the trail stained with
Red... Painting the icy
Boulevard, with a crimson
Brush, of jaggedly-hanging
Flesh... The pain is all
Too real, exposed to the
Bone... Simply refusing to let
Go...
What have I done? Where
Did I go wrong? Do I
Carry a torch, do I
Sing this song? Or carry
My stake as this nightmare
Goes on, and follow the King,
With a smile painted on...?
Do I cry, do I scream, do I
Pick up the dream?! Do I
Mope around the house, or
Blow off some steam...?
Clutching at my broken dreams...
Jagged pieces, cutting through me...
Looking at this moment in
Time, the red-stained road,
With cracks through the
Line... My home blows up,
And the debris, falls down, through
The shaft of the mine...
In the blistering cold, the
Memories of long, cold...
Time...
Time...
Time...
Time...!
The bells toll on, as I
Wander the cold, clutching
This mass of glass, growing
Old... Walking alone, I carry
My load, drawing a blank,
As I travel this war-torn
Road...
...There is probably a very HIGH chance that I will turn this poem into a song sometime soon. ...If only I could find the right notes... I mostly had them, though... So, maybe it won't be too hard to figure it out...
"And the Most High said unto Moses, Ahayah-Asher-Ahayah. And he said, Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel, Ahayah hath sent me unto you... This is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations."
1953-2011... One day, mother, I shall see you again...
